White House Ella

Everything. Lovely clean house, very comfortable bedrooms, modern & new. Breakfast was exceptional. Friendly family. Great value for money. Good location. 100% recommend

WiFi would sometimes drop out but was still ok

They were very kind

El lugar está muy bien. Cerca de todo, limpio...

Las sabanas y las almohadas estaban sucias y rotas.

Personel życzliwy i pomocny. Hotel wygląda jak dom, pięknie udekorowany. Śniadania smaczne.. Jest czyściutko, łóżka wygodne, w łazience zestaw kosmetyków, jest ciepła woda. Dodatkowo w każdym pokoju czajnik, filiżanki, możliwość zrobienia kawy i herbaty. Serdecznie polecamy!

Staff were very helpful and apparently living in the building too. Very quiet area and location close to Main Street, air conditioning worked and there was hot water in the shower. Common spaces were luxurious!

WiFi didn’t work all the time, management helped with this and a power outage for the main power outlet on one side of the room was problematic, but eventually fixed by management.

Staffs and location

Nothing

The hotel seems new, everything is perfectly decorated, it is very clean and all equipments work perfectly. Excellent location. Breakfast is amazing. Highly recommended

Clean, good breakfast and well located

Showers were a bit fiddly to get the temperature constant

Alles super, alles top. Optimal für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp. Ruhig & bequem.

Nothing.

centrale plek, gezellig. kleurrijke kamers.

niks

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and they were always happy to provide helpful advice on getting around and things to do in the area. The breakfast was also very good, with a generous and varied selection of both sweet and savoury options.

The cleanliness of the room could definitely be improved. When I arrived, the blankets were stained and the bathroom was not particularly clean. The bathroom was also very small and not very comfortable to use.

Great friendly staff. Good location. Lovely spacious room. Great wifi. They did our washing for us yay

Amazing stay at this family run accommodation. Great hosts and a good breakfast, too

Muy bien ubicado. Habitación amplia y cómoda. Muy buen desayuno. Con nevera. Aceptan pago con tarjeta.

El baño podría estar más limpio.

Great place - Thusi and the family are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is very good. The design of the hotel is very beautiful and special. Great location. Very good choice for a homey stay in Ella.

I had great time and enjoyed my stay here.

Staff were lovely

Die Lage ist perfekt

White House Ella enjoys an unbeatable location right in the town centre, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. It takes around 30 minutes on foot to reach Nine Arch Bridge, which is very convenient for sightseeing. The accommodation is clean and great value for money. Host Thusi is gentle and helpful, we had a lovely stay and highly recommend this place for travellers visiting Ella.

Simplemente genial. Personal amable. Precio maravilloso no se puede pedir más .

Really good location. Immaculately clean. Air conditioning was great. Had a parking spot for our Tuk-Tuk behind a gate and undercover. Done our laundry as well and came back perfect with reasonable price. Friendly staff. Very nicely decorated inside, really modern and lots of nice features. Room was spacious and had a high ceiling.

WiFi didn’t work for the full length of our stay. It showed full bars but nothing ever loaded. We ended up using our mobile data the whole time which was a shame. Shower water was struggling to drain after day 2. Can’t remove the cover as it’s underneath the shower rail….so we couldn’t even attempt to clean it ourselves. Bed quite small in length. I’m 6”2 and struggled stretching out fully. Just something to be aware of if you’re tall.

Good location in city centre. Good sized bedroom with fridge, kettle and nice balcony. Great (very filling) breakfast with tea/coffee, fruit, eggs and pancakes.

Rooms are on upper floors with no elevator, so may not suit less able people. The bathroom door was hard to open and close (needs realigning) and the glass shower doors were near impossible to close (think they need some new rollers).

Great stay here!! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Location was great, not right on the main strip but close enough to walk and still have a peaceful stay. It felt very homely!!

Lovely building. Close to town and amenities.

The location of the place.

Staircase to the room.

Really friendly staff, couldn’t do enough. Great location and superb value for money.

Room and bathroom had a usual configuration and the light switches were confusing.

Literie confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux

Rien

The breakfast is amazing! The place is cozy compare to others place in Ella. Bit far from the noisy which is quite nice. Very clean!

Windows open from toilet

Great location, ideal parking for our tuk tuk, nice big rooms, and superb breakfast.

Leaving.

Fantastic people. Super clean and great location. Add that to a very good value price and you can't go wrong

Nothing

Very clean and overall good including breakfast .

Nothing

Lovely hotel, close to town. It was refreshing to have a hotel that supplied filtered water in glass bottle, rather than plastic bottles.

Good position off the main street - walkable to all shops and restaurants and Kinellan tea plantation - about 20 minutes up the road - also did our laundry 😎

Nothing

Excellent Location. Close to all suteseeing areas and actuvities. Very friendly staff. Peaceful and Calm.

Nice room and terrace, good breakfast

1 night quiet but in weekend very loud music in main street till 2.30, no chance to get any sleep

Staff were incredibly helpful and always on it. Breakfast was divine! Great location!

Lack of water pressure in shower.

Great location with spacious rooms

Lovely staff and great location. Room was a good size with balcony, aircon and comfortable bed including duvet. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved the pancake with chocolate sauce.

Getting the shower a nice temperature was an art but this is a very small complaint. Atleast there was hot water!

The hosts were amazing. They were so nice all the time and made the most delicious breakfast. And on the day we left we had a problem with our tuktuk and the host was helping us with that, big thanks!

Great breakfast, lovely family, good location, spacious rooms

The rooms could have been a bit more clean

Great family-run hotel in a quiet but very convenient location, only a short walk to the main street in Ella. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious. The family who run the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The laundry service at check-in was also very useful.

Very friendly stuff

Sehr sauberes Zimmer und traumhafte Lage! Jederzeit wieder!

This family run hotel is in a convenient and quiet location a short walk from the main street in Ella. The room was a good size and very clean. The breakfast was nice and the family were really helpful.

Nothing

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was prepared with great care for their guests. By far the best pancakes in the world. I definitely recommend this hotel. - Pamela and Felipe - CHILE

Nice big bed and set away from the main road.

The shower. In order to make the water very hot you had to turn down the pressure low. Breakfast should be more Sri Lankan food with rice noodles or hoppers or vedai.

Accogliente e gentile il responsabile della struttura. Ottima e abbondante la colazione. Camere praticamente nuove, bagno pulito e spazioso. Consigliata, ci tornerei volentieri.

Great central location away from late night music. You can easily walk everywhere in Ella. Excellent breakfast and someone was always available at least until 23.00.

When it worked the hot water was good but we had two nights with none. The rooms are on multiple floors and seem better on the lower floors. The room sizes vary considerably, all are ok but good to check what you are booking for the best experience.

Nice room, very clean and delightful staff. Excellent breakfast always served with a 😃

Location can get a little noisey as Ella is party central.

Clean, modern and comfortable. Nice to have a balcony. Breakfast was nice. Location was very central.

The noise from the bar to the early hours of the morning making it difficult to sleep.

Dobra poloha, relativně klid

Ložní prádlo nic moc, nepohodlná postel, pružiny

Centrally located, but in a quet side street. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Very satisfied.

Sehr sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sehr tolles Frühstück und sehr zentral gelegen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

We had heard the breakfast was amazing and it did not disappoint! What we hadn’t realised was how lovely the place was for staying, with a large room, balcony and clean bathroom. The staff were wonderful too

Everything was perfect!

Nothing.

Najboljša nastanitev na Šri Lanka do sedaj. Zelo lepo, čisto, odlična kvalitetna posteljnina, udobne blazine. Dobro delujoča klima. Odličen zajtrk. Zelo blizu glavne ulice, kjer je veliko lokalov, trgovin... Predvsem pa zelo prijazni gostitelji 😍. Žal nisva mogla ostati več časa!

Super nette Mitarbeiter

Wasser ausgefallen, Bett sehr alt

Ragyogo tisztasag, kenyelmes ágy, mukodik minden.

Nem volt ilyen

Sehr nettes Personal, super Frühstück.

Nicht die bequemsten Betten

Nära allt och välhållet hotell.

Myror i handfatet.

Central location

There is a karaoke place nearby with singing till ca 11pm
