We waren hier met onze dochter. De kamer en sanitair waren prima. We waren van alles voorzien. Het 2persoonsbed lag prima. En in de keuken was alles te vinden. Prima om hier een aantal nachten te kunnen verblijven in Waterford. Ook de service is prima: er is makkelijk contact met Liz. We komen ook een keer de schoonmaakster tegen en zij vulde meteen aan wat er nodig was. Heel erg fijn!

Het 1 persoonsbed lag minder goed als t 2 persoonsbed. Misschien een andere matras?

Breakfast, was rice bubbles or cornflakes. Make sure to bring your own.

Las camas eran pequeñas y algo incómodas. La gestión de la dueña con una huésped agresiva y acosadora durante nuestra estancia no fue buena.

Everything

Our room was at the front of the house, so we had a bit of traffic noise. The room was not the largest, so the only place for the smallish bed was with one side against a wall - not ideal when getting in & out of the bed...a bit disturbing. The shower room was clean, with a decent shower. The owners were away, so we only saw a cleaner in the morning. There was a communal kitchen where we could make breakfast etc, & space in the fridge allocated to each room. There were tea/coffee facilities, including fresh milk. Parking was free on the roadside. The town centre was walkable...even on crutches!

Initially we had problems getting in to this guest house - we returned to the property 3 times, but no one appeared to be in. Eventually we went off to a pub for a drink, and to see if we could get WiFi. It was then that we found a message had been left during the day informing us how to get in. What a shame the message was not sent earlier when we had access to Wi-Fi! Returning for the 4th time we eventually managed to enter the building, but on entering the code for our room we kept getting logged out of the system. I texted the owners who let me know where the actual keys were kept. We eventually got in!

The whole set up of this accomodation was brilliant. Bed comfy, room clean, kitchen facilities etc Fantastic to be able to park outside and a 25 min walk into town. Quiet neighbourhood.

Bed was squeaky and the front door needed oiling, although we think this was done during our stay as the noise stopped. Our room was near the front door which would have been annoying if people came in late. Luckily this wasn't the case for us.

Ich kann nicht viel über die Unterkunft sagen, weil wir umgebucht wurden in ein Haus. Da es einen Rohrbruch im B&B gab.

Nous n avions que 2 serviettes pour 4 personnes et personne n est venu nous en rapporter alors que je l ai signalé Le bruit des autres colocataires tôt le matin et tard le soir.

Lovely place very well laid out

Fold out bed had a broken leg and when I went to fix it I found a load of dirt under the bed . That was the only let down otherwise excellent 👌

Clean, renovated, neatly designed flat with well equppied kitchen, garden in the back, ample common space

Wi-fi was disconnecting every other minute

There is a bright light by the door and the doors have gaps where you can see the light through them so it’s a bit challenging to sleep with a really bright light coming through the door

Everything was as described. Communication with host was very good. Central location. Very happy with everything

Det ligger en bit från centrum, men ändå helt ok.

De kamer&badkamer waren netjes modern én schoon. Aan alles was gedacht. Badslippers.eigen schap in koelkast.eigen opberglades. Je kunt ook gebruik maken van kruiden ed. Koffie&thee is te maken in de keuken. Grote tuin met tuinmeubels

De gemeenschappelijke keuken was niet schoon maar dat komt waarschijnlijk omdat niet iedereen zijn rommel opruimt. Kastjes waren beetje vies. Bed een beetje hard

Het is een tussenliggende woning met 6 slaapkamers. Centraal is een leef keuken, met alle faciliteiten om te koken. Vaatwasser, koelkast met jouw kamernummer. Gold ook voor lades. Daarnaast ook een zitgedeelte. Grote tuin, met kiezel en gras. Alles sfeervol en met alle gemakken ingericht.

Onze kamer was erg klein voor 2 personen.( kamer 2) we zagen dat andere kamers groter waren. Dat is op zich nog niet zo erg. Maar het bed was echt Te Klein. Meer een twijfelaar. Stond ook nog tegen een muur, ik moest over de rand van het voeteneind van het bed s'nachts klimmen . We lagen echt dicht op elkaar. Heb slecht geslapen. Heel jammer, want verder was het een fijne plek!

Home and Away is in a good location only a 25 minute walk into the historic area of Waterford.  Parking is free and readily available.The room was quiet, spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. The shared kitchen generally worked & the washing machine were great. We recommend staying at Home and Away. 

Our room was very nice especially bathroom. Enjoyed meeting other travellers.

Bed was too small for a couple. Uncertain whether other guests were washing dishes properly.

Nous n'avons pas vu notre hôte mais celle-ci a été très réactive quand nous lui faisions une demande. Très bon séjour

Das Haus war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Schlafzimmer sehr sauber.

Das Bett zu klein. Die Küche war schmutzig: Ceranfeld dreckig, Abfälle wurden nicht geleert , Esstisch war verschmutzt.

Clean spacious modern rooms. Parking outside.

No toiletries only soap. The location was far from the city but an easy drive. There may be public transport but we had a car.

La ubicación muy bien. La habitación cómoda y limpia para pasar dos días que estuvimos. Hay zonas comunes con el resto de habitaciones para poder desayunar o comer.

No conocimos a la dueña, aunque nos atendió amablemente por mensajes. Hay que tener suerte con el resto de personas que viven en la casa, porque vimos que los microondas, horno, lavavajillas estaban sucios, recogen lo justo porque supongo que estudian o trabajan y no les dio tiempo. Las dos mañanas que desayunamos allí estaba igual.

Hyvät yhteiset tilat ja tarvikkeet. Kaakao oli kiva yllätys.

Tupakkapaikka pihalla sijaitsi huoneemme lähellä, joten tupakan hajua tuli sisälle myös ikkunan ollessa kiinni. Sängyn vieressä olevan seinän ilmaventtiili piti muutaman sekunnin nakutusta joka minuutti. Häiritsi yöunta. Suihkun käännettävä lasiseinä (ammeessa) ei toiminut kunnolla, joten vessan lattia lainehti vettä suihkun jälkeen. Lattiapyyhe eikä muutkaan pyyhkeet kuivaneet koko 2 päivän aikana, koska pyyhetelineeseen ei saanut laitettua lämpöä päälle. Olisimme arvostaneet jos lomakkeista, jotka vaaditaan etukäteen täytettäväksi olisi ilmoitettu esim edellisenä päivänä. Nyt jouduimme ne kiireessä täyttämään kesken patikoinnin.

Great location, very spacious and clean! Very quiet during the day and night time! Appreciated the communal areas and complimentary cereal!

The place is very clean. We were able to wash two loads of laundry while we were there. It is a fairly easy drive into the city center.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with everything we needed. Liz went above and beyond to make it a comfortable stay! Wonderful hospitality. Came home to visit family, with my partner who had never been over before. He had a great time and we will be back to stay in the future!

I wish the other guests would pay attention to the 9-9 quiet rule. It's common courtesy to respect one another, unfortunately nowadays it seems people have less and less respect. I cannot fault anything about Liz or her outstanding guest house, however as she couldn't have done more to make our stay more comfortable than it was.

Sehr gute Ausstattung mit allem, was man braucht Schöne Gestaltung der Räume und dem Koch- und Essbereich. Einfaches selbständiges Einchecken. Günstiges Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Stadt zu Fuß gut erreichbar

Der Backofen wurde plötzlich außer Betrieb gesetzt und keine Info, warum und wann er wieder benutzbar ist. Die Heizung, die Waschmaschine und der Handtuchtrockner waren nicht in Betrieb ( April). Zuwenig Geschirrhandtücher und kaum Besteck da

Very easy to get to this property. Cereals, Tea making facilities and fridge available. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Really spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Available parking. 15 mins walk from the city centre.

Such a lovely place through and through. The persons taking care of the property are very helpful and do their best to see that guests are comfortable and all needs are catered for. They are happily available at any time. Nicely decorated, room was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is generously stocked with tea, coffee and other basic items one may require, with space to store your own items separately. Only a 20 minutes walk to the centre of Waterford, in a quiet area. I will definitely return when I'm in Waterford again.

Gemütliches Schlafzimmer mit sehr guter Matratze. Küche voll ausgestattet. Eigentümer war stets sehr freundlich, geduldig bei Fragen. Auch sofort erreichbar, nachdem wir uns einmal ausgeschlossen hatten und den Zugangscode zum Zimmer nicht mehr wussten. Jederzeit wieder!

No hot water for shower

All areas were very clean and the staff was very friendly. Liz also provided us with all the information in advance.

We had a family vacation. We liked the service, the design. It was clean everywhere. All the sights are within walking distance. Everything is nearby, supermarkets, shopping centers. I will say honestly, we liked everything! I recommend it!

The house is well designed, super clean and has an amazing kitchen. Free butter, milk, coffee, cacao powder, cereal, etc. 🥰 Love the Waterford map on the wall

The hot water in the bathroom. Was it me or the hot water was never hot enough no matter how long I waited or how I adjusted the shower? Always felt freezing after finishing taking the shower. My partner and I both got a cold after a week staying here 🥹

Everything....so beautifully clean, modern, Everything available.....great breakfast, our room was a perfect one for our dog as it was near the front door. meeting other guests in the kitchen every now and then was lovely....bedroom was beautiful....

Um....only one noteworthy.... l have sleep apnoea so a wee locker by the bed would've been helpful. the shelf was too narrow for my machine.

Beautiful new build home. Very spacious and stylish. Beds and bathrooms superb . We travelled with a dog and there is a big back yard where our dog could run and play. Kitchen fully equipped with all you need. Coffee and teas available Cosy atmosphere and a lot of board games for our daughter Host super responsive and lovely We will be back there for sure .

Could not fault this place one bit. The house is fantastic and well stocked with tea and coffee The rooms are comfy and I would stay there again

There is nothing to dislike

Facilities were excellent . Spotlessly clean and very well fitted out . The beds were suoer comfy and kitchen could cater for any meal you might want to prepare . A lot of attention to detail in that respect . Great value for money ideal location for a city break. I had my 2 little ones it was nice quiet and very safe .

The property is located in a great area close to all amenities. A very clean and inviting home with everything you want and need. Home is finished with lovely modern details and the map of Waterford city on the wall is very attractive.

Hot water in the shower didn't last too long

The ambiance is good, its secure with each room having its unique lock system, a good clean kitchen with all the facilities. Room was v clean and aesthetic. A v nice shower and toilet area.

There were few guets who were v loud at around 2:30 in the morning, couldn't sleep till 4:30 as they were making alot of noise.
