Reviewed Jun 14, 2025This traditional house, near the main street in Tromso, felt incredible cosy. More than this, it was warm, spacious and spotless clean. The host was very communicative and the check-in/check-out process was smooth (keypad).

Parking is quite expensive. When asked, the owner linked us a less expensive option beside the street opposite gas station. There is only 5 parking space, but we always managed to get out car there.

There was a construction of a high rise building right in front of the apartment which can be noisy in the morning. The side window has no curtain which we can see people walking past may be they cant see us but we did not try. Best to have some covering.

As it's on the ground floor on the street, there isn't much privacy unless curtains are closed, and it would feel unsafe to open a window. This is fine in the winter, but I would avoid staying there in summertime.

Wifi not working at the time and no TV available, which did not bother us.
