Prachtig ruime kamer. Mooie ligging, straat oversteken en je bent op het strand. Goede restaurantjes op loop afstand. Tip: The good restaurant en Ohana heerlijk gegeten.

They re so nice family and very kind

Everything perfect

The hosts were so warm and welcoming, always catered to our needs. It was a sweet family who were looking after us, we ended up wishing that we should have spent more time there. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities, it was very clean, AC was working and the bedding was cozy. Water heater worked perfectly and bathroom was also very big.

The staff were very friendly and place was maintained very well.

I stayed at E Seven House in Hiriketiya for one night with four coworkers and had a pleasant experience overall. Despite being located along the main road, the property was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a comfortable night’s rest. The room matched the description provided and was well-suited for our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring homemade fruit pancakes and coffee, which added a nice personal touch. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with plenty of restaurants just a short walk away.

Immaculate property, very nice balcony. Close to the beach, friendly hosts.

Friendly, helpful, accommodating staff. Clean room. Great to have a fridge in there and a small sitting area. Comfortable bed, though the quilt was a little thick for the heat of Dickwella IMO. Literally right across the road from Turtle Beach, I’m talking less than 2 minute walk.

A little loud from the main road and side road that runs next to room I stayed in. No handwash in bathroom. Not all settings on the shower worked.

Die Unterkunft liegt an der Hauptstraße, aber nur 200m von einem sehr schönen Strand entfernt. Es gab leckeres und frisches Frühstück und die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und liebevoll.

Wir haben für 800 lkr pro Kilogramm Wäsche gewaschen, aber diese war leider teilweise nicht richtig sauber und sehr feucht.

Great staff, they went out their way to make our stay as smooth and welcoming as possible, excelent facilities and the placement is perfect if you want to be close to an awesome beach. If you love snorkel like we do, the turtle beach 2 min away was the best snorkel we had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was tasty and they asked every time if we want tea/coffee etc. The rooms were tidy and well equipped. We strongly recommend this accommodation 🤗 Another side note but it is contextual. Since we stayed here when the conflict in Iran started (1st of March 2026), because they heard that our flight back might be cancelled, they offered us free accommodation if we cannot leave. 🥹🥹 Their kindness and willingness to help truly touched us. 🤗

The only thing I would recommend (if you are a light sleeper ) is a room with garden view since the road can be a bit noisy in the night.

Dasuni und Amal sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Bei jedem Anliegen konnten sie weiterhelfen und haben uns einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Das Frühstück war klasse, auch die Details haben gestimmt: Schöne Handtücher, Möbel, Bettlaken, das Geschirr beim Frühstück. Auch Organisieren sie Touren in den Yala Park, Motorrad Verleih, Laundry Service und Dasuni hat uns bescheid gegeben als Babyschildkröten am Strand freigelassen wurden. Wir waren nicht übers Handy erreichbar, deswegen ist ihr Mann uns am Strand suchen gegangen, um uns zu holen. Ein einzigartiges erlebnis dass wir ohne unsere netten Hosts nicht erlebt hätten. Jedem kann ich diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Établissement bien placé, nous avons été très bien accueillies et ils ont accepté de garder nos bagages pour la journée. La chambre est grande et propre. Je recommande pour quelques nuits!

Die Unterkunft war sehr nah an Hiriketiya und sehr nah an einem schönen Strand, wo es Schildkröten gab mit denen man schwimmen konnte. Zudem war es sehr sauber und die Dame der Unterkunft hat sich sehr viel Mühe bei allem (Frühstück, Sauberkeit usw.) gegeben.

Durch die Straße vor dem Haus war es ab und zu etwas laut wenn man gefrühstückt hat.

Хорошее расположение - пляж через дорогу, рядом есть неплохие места для обеда и ужина. Номер чистый, комфортный, есть все необходимое для жизни. Разнообразные завтраки. Ну и, конечно, хозяева дома - прекрасные люди! Мы были окружены теплом и заботой.

В номере с балконом очень шумно.

The couple who ran E seven house were very hospitable, nothing was too much of a problem.

We had an amazing stay at E Seven House. Amal and his family were so lovely and welcoming. It was well located by Turtle Beach, and only a short and beautiful walk along the beach to Hiriketiya. We were sad to leave this beautiful place.

Muy muy cerquita de la Turtle Beach. La familia muy hospitalaria, no pudieron ser más agradables y buenos con nosotras. Nos ayudaron a gestionar el transporte a la vuelta a Colombo.

Het ontbijt mag iets gevarieerder zijn. En misschien is het beter om een tafeltje buiten neer te zetten in plaats van in de woonkamer

Really close to turtle cliffs and lots of good restaurants around. We hired scooters to visit Hiri’s, blue beach island and the blowhole. Breakfast was great and the owners were really lovely and helpful. Great communication. They even helped book our bus to Arugam Bay for us 🙏🏽 One morning a family of monkeys visited us on the balcony. Even though it’s on the main road it’s quiet. We didn’t access the kitchen in the pictures.

The room was great with a huge bed, kettle and fridge. Additionally, the Sri Lankan breakfast was lovely - they make a yummy dhal! What really made the stay for us was the family who run this place! They went out of their way time after time to help us; including bringing our bike and helmets out the rain and sorting a bus for us to get to Arugam Bay at the end of our stay! Would highly recommend this place!

The only slight difficulty was the location as it’s a bit out of Dickwella and Hiriketya but if you have a bike or TukTuk then it’s a quick drive! You could walk to places in the day within half an hour, however this became trickier at night as its a busy road and TukTuks didn’t always pass (pickme also doesn’t seem to work in the area).

Our favourite place that we stayed in Sri Lanka. The family that run this hotel are so kind. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We opted for the home cooked evening meals and they were so delicious. Make sure to have them when you stay. The dhal curry was a favourite of ours. We were also fortunate enough to experience the monkeys climbing onto the balcony and peeking into our room which was hilarious. We visited Udawale safari a week before staying and didn’t get anywhere near as close to the animals compared to staying here. It was a highlight of our trip. Apparently they show a few times a week, but are really shy. Dickwella beach is a 2 minute walk and we genuinely preferred it to Hiriketiya beach. It was much less crowded, you could easily get a sun lounger and you can swim with turtles. You also had the option of getting a taxi into Hiriketiya town centre easily enough. The room was spacious and it had hot water which was refreshing. The view from the room was also very special, when golden hour, hits the sun peeks through the palm trees. We then travelled from here back to Colombo which was really simple incase this helps anyone: - Catch the 334 just opposite the homestay to Matara this cost us 104 LKR each. - Then catch one of the highway express buses to Colombo fort bus station this cost us 1080 LKR each.

- A squeegee would have been useful to push the water down the drain after a shower but other than that we loved our stay.

Впечатления самые положительные!Месторасположение- идеально.До пляжа с черепахами 2 минуты пешком.Рядом несколько приятных кафе и ресторанов. Мы даже в Фуд сити ходили пешком( примерно 1 км).Комната, в которой мы жили, достаточно просторная и светлая с огромным окном с раздвижными створками.Окно выходит на красивый сад. Проснувшись утром, можно открыть окно и расположившись с чашечкой кофе в плетеное кресло, наслаждаться видом и утренним пением птиц.В номере есть все необходимое, включая холодильник и чайник. Кровать застелена новым бельем, полотенца также новые. В отдельной комнате имеется кухня со всей необходимой посудой. Можно готовить самостоятельно.Иногда мы так и делали. Завтраки очень вкусные и обильные( мы выбрали ланкийский завтрак).Кроме того, хозяева угостили нас очень вкусным ужином, а также организовали нам экскурсию по окрестностям на тук тук за сравнительно небольшую плату. На экскурсии мы побывали в храме Wewurukannala Buduraja Maha Viharaya, ездили к Blow Hole, Blue beach island( очень красивый вид на закате) и на пляж в Хиррикетии.Любые возникающие вопросы хозяева Amal и Dasuni решают очень быстро. Однажды мы два дня подряд не могли купить креветок в Фуд сити. За ужином сказали об этом хозяевам. Amal отвез нас в другой магазин, где мы и купили, все что нужно. Amal и Dasuni, спасибо вам огромное за все!!!!В следующем году мы обязательно приедем к вам снова!

The hosts were kind and we had delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts. If you would like to feel the culture in the southern parts of Sri Lanka, this place and in house food would be an ideal choice.

The water slowed down 2 nights ( shower time).

The owners were super friendly! It was close to the beach, like a 2 minute walk. And the breakfast was great!

The area was very quiet both day and night. The host was very welcoming and the breakfast was different every day.

Only a small thing but an extra pillow to sleep with would of made the stay more comfortable

They helped us to find out whatever was required, nice stay best people. I liked everything about the property.

Everything! Even before we arrived we had contact for any questions. We were able to safely park our tuktuk in their yard. We were greeted with a welcome drink and shown to our room. The room has everything you need, mini fridge, large bathroom with great water pressure and warm shower. The bed is the comfiest we have slept on in Sri Lanka! We kept the curtains open to wake up to the lush garden view. We often didn’t need the ac, the fan and the doors open were perfect. It was great being able to have the sliding doors open and feel like you were outside. Never had any issues with mosquitos despite this either. Big cupboard to unpack clothes and under the bed to keep your bags out of the way. Now the family…oh so lovely! They were always so helpful. They even saw is walking one day and offered to give us a ride. Always available via WhatsApp for any questions. They really made our stay extra special. The breakfasts were always plentiful and delicious. Over the 4 days we always had something different. They kept us full past lunch. The location is across the road from turtle beach where you can snorkel with turtles and watch sunset. There are also a few beach bars where you can lounge and eat and drink at. Just over 5 mins away is dickwella beach, a large quiet beach. A quick tuktuk ride brings you to hiriketiya. Surfer beach that is much busier, with more going on in the area. We would also drive to kudawella beach for surfing lessons. We loved the location close enough yet still peaceful. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

Like most places in Sri Lanka Wi-Fi can be hit or miss.

I had a wonderful stay here! Highly recommend! The rooms are exactly as the pictures are. Very new and modern, they had just opened the second room when we arrived. The room doesn’t ever face the sun hence it stays incredibly cool, there were many moments where we didn’t even need AC. I was also pleasantly surprised that there were no mosquitos despite the very lush greenery right in front. Bathroom was new, with hot water. We also could not hear our neighbours, and no loud peacocks every morning, so you can sleep in. The hosts welcomed us with cool welcome drinks and attended to our every need. As they live just downstairs you can always pop by (or text) if you need anything. The breakfasts are the highlight of our stay- very filling! We were there over the New Year’s Day and they went out of their way to provide a traditional New Years breakfast. They even offered us a free dinner one night, and always had bottled water on hand! The location is perfect if you want to be close enough to the business of Hiriketiya but want to be in a quieter area. It is a 2 minute walk to a beach where the tide is not so strong, with MANY sea turtles swimming around. (There are conservation efforts being made at this beach so please make sure not to touch them) the beach is very relaxed and at times we had it to ourselves. There is a very restaurant across the street too, called the Good Kitchen! Overall hosts are incredibly accommodating! A very kind family that proudly represents Sri Lankan hospitality💓 (And what an affordable rate!)

We really enjoyed our stay and the delicious breakfast. The family is very friendly and lovely. Our room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. We loved the beach and it’s only a few minutes away. Highly recommended!

This was easily my favourite guest house that I stayed in Sri Lanka. It was spotlessly clean, super comfortable with thoughtful touches like an adaptor plug in the room. The location was great, just a little way from the hustle of the town and just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. But the best part was the hosts Amal and Dasani. They were just so warm and friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make my stay wonderful. The food was just amazing and they even let me use the room after checkout time as I was flying out that night. Highly recommend, I hope to be back

Very friendly hosts. They booked me into my bus, gave tips on what to see and were very courteous. They even offered me a free dinner on my last evening. Breakfast was a lot and very nutritious. Room was clean, big enough and had A/C and a fan.

The location of it is a little bit of the spot.

This place is brilliant, Amal and his family were excellent and lovely people. Even cooking us a free dinner on the last night which was super tasty! They helped us out with travel and our onwards plans, as well as arranging transport whilst in town.

Nothing, the location is brilliant too, straight across from the wonderful turtle beach.

Close to beach, great family run hotel, nice to have cooking. Nice to watch monkeys from our window. Family couldn’t help us enough! Even cooked us a complimentary dinner on our last night , very kind and a great curry !

They are building more rooms so it’s a bit of a construction sight. Wi fi a bit intermittent. Balcony is really a walk way .

Amal and his family are adorable and super helpful. The room has everything one might need (fridge, hair dryer, plug adapter) and the bed was comfy. The position couldn't be better, you can swim with the turtles a few steps away from the accommodation. They even helped me arrange a surprise for my gf's birthday!

We really enjoyed our stay. The family were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast and rice and curry were great. The air con worked really well. The bed was very comfortable. It was really helpful to have access to a kitchen to cook simple meals. we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The WiFi worked well but may not be suitable for those looking to work. However, that’s not a problem as there are co work spaces and cafes near by.

Fresh new room on first floor with a lot of space in wardrobe, with kitchen next door. Room is equiped with everything, even hair dryer, beach towells, glasses, really everything! Owners take care about all small topics and are very friendly, breakfast was full table:-) Just few meters to walk is turtle beach where we had possibility to swim with turtles almost whole day, really, they just came close to beach to tourists (of corse for food given:-) Even we got nice cooked traditional dinner, which we loved fully! Thank you very much, have to say the best stay during our Sri Lanka travel!!!!

Nothing - stay perfect as you are!

The room was so clean and new, had all of the facilities, was really big, comfortable and well designed. The breakfast was great, the family owners were so nice and welcoming and the property is located a minute walk from an amazing beach where you can sweep with turtles :) Everything was perfect! We will definitely come back.
