Darussaade Hotel Old City - Sultanahmet

We could not have been happier with the hotel. Everything was exceptional - staff, location and breakfast. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Blue and Hagia Sophia mosques, 15 minutes walk to Topkapi Palace, 5 minutes walk to the Bosphorus and 20 minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar. The roof terrace restaurant has a view of the Blue Mosque and some guests from other hotels took breakfast here because their own hotels had relatively poor offerings. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo adorato questo piccolo hotel. La location è comodissima, lo staff è gentile e accogliente. Ci hanno fornito tutte le indicazioni che ci servivano, hanno accettato i nostri bagagli anche se siamo arrivati prima del check-in e, visto che era possibile, ci hanno fatto anche fare il check-in leggermente prima. Poi in ultimo hanno una terrazza bellissima dove fare colazione la mattina e la colazione stessa ci è piaciuta tantissimo. Un po' turca un po' continentale, variava leggermente ogni giorno, così abbiamo avuto la possibilità di provare varie cose senza stufarci mai. Se tornassi a İstanbul sicuramente tornerei qui!

Although it has been open for a long time, all the facilities are well maintained. We live here when we come to Istanbul every year. The staff here is very friendly and the location is very good. In the breakfast restaurant and some rooms, you can see the Blue Mosque

I stayed for two nights, and the menu changed slightly each day. The rice pudding for dessert was also absolutely delicious. ⚫︎I could see the Blue Mosque from the breakfast area, which was a wonderful bonus.

⚫︎ It was summer and very hot, so I understand that it may have been difficult to keep the room cool, but the air conditioning was slightly less effective than I expected. ⚫︎The water pressure in the shower was a little weak. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay.

Rooms are with a homely feeling. We were 9 people and each room accommodate.

La atención es excepcional, todo el personal es muy amable y están dispuestos a ayudarte a pesar de no hablar ni una palabra de Turco. El desayuno es muy sabroso y lo sirven en una terraza preciosa con vista a la mezquita azul. El hotel está ubicado a 6 minutos a pie de la Mezquita Azul. Eso permite visitar los puntos de mayor interés de forma cómoda.

El duvette es delicioso, pero hace falta cambiar el colchón.

I stayed at this hotel four years ago, and when I decided to visit Istanbul again, I didn’t hesitate to book a room here. The staff, especially Mr. Ismail and Erfan, are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They are always happy to answer guests’ questions and respond very quickly to messages on WhatsApp. The breakfast is excellent and is served on the rooftop, which offers a beautiful view. The hotel’s location is also excellent, within walking distance of many historical sites and attractions. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Istanbul.

Maybe having an Iron in the room would be nice.

- location. Very central. Can walk to major places.of interest. - the breakfast. Simple, wholesome tasty. - they had a lift. - it was quiet despite being in a central located area - bed was comfy and quite big for a single economy - the view from the breakfast area in the terrace is amazing.

The bath room window was frosted without blinds and an extra door to the alley that was locked. Felt abit insecure initially but the staff assured me that it was a dead ally that no one could access.

Fantastic hotel right in the heart of the old town. Everything is within walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. All the staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. The hotel also arranged airport transfers for us, which was very convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The only minor downside was that the bathroom door in our room was a little difficult to close.

Gutes Frühstück

I would still recommend this hotel because of its location and overall stay, but I strongly suggest requesting a room on the upper floor if you want a quieter experience.

The rooms have wooden floors, so you can clearly hear people walking in the room above. I was very tired during my first two days, so it didn't bother me much. However, I stayed for five nights, and by the third day I was being woken up by the constant creaking from the floor above. It became very disruptive to my sleep. At breakfast, I mentioned this to the reception. Instead of offering a solution, they asked why I hadn't reported it earlier. I explained that, as a guest staying for five nights, I expected the hotel to suggest moving me to a quieter room once they knew about the issue. Instead, I felt as though they were blaming me for not requesting an upper-floor room sooner. The breakfast was also disappointing. On one morning, because there were only a few guests, they didn't prepare any eggs at all. I found this surprising, especially in Türkiye. Another guest told me the hotel had hidden the acrylic display that listed the different types of eggs guests could request. When I asked about it, the staff quickly brought it out and then hid it again afterward. I found this misleading and dishonest. Guests pay for breakfast, so they should receive the full breakfast that is being offered.

We had a wonderful stay at Darussaade Hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from all the main attractions in Sultanahmet while still being in a quiet area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. What really made our stay special was the staff. We were travelling with young children, including babies, and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even washed our baby bottles for us without any hesitation, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made travelling so much easier. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and they genuinely cared about making sure our family was comfortable. Their kindness and hospitality were exceptional.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything significant to dislike. If I had to mention something, it would only be that the rooms are a little compact, but that’s quite typical for hotels in the Old City and didn’t affect our stay.

The hotel was very well located for visiting the old city - just behind the Blue Mosque. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was on the top floor with great views. It was very clean.

Nós deram quarto diferente do escolhido no Booking Primeira vez que acontece Mostrei as fotos do quarto na reserva com banheira no banheiro...vista do Bósforo e uma mesa com duas cadeiras...o Sr Ismail manager falou que não necessariamente as fotos seriam as do quarto....falei que o Booking era fidedigno....stress bateu e como estávamos chegando para 8 dias em Istambul...contemporizamos e falamos que quando liberasse o quarto queríamos....O que não aconteceu....falei na saída com o referido manager que iria reportar ao Booking e ele se fez de "não tenho o que faxer" Quando em deslocamento para o aeroporto abri a reserva e percebi que haviam adulterado /mudado as fotos do nosso quarto reservado....assinatura do erro do Sr Ismail.... Não aparecia nenhuma foto do banheiro que diga-se pé passagem o vaso estava sem firmeza com o piso....solto Nada das cadeiras e mesa ....assim como a janela com a vista.... Sugiro o app Booking rever sua posição junto ao estabelecimento para separar o fiel do infiel Atenciosamente Franco

Bedroom & Breakfast Delicious and great selection. The host Ismail was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips on where to go in Instanbul.. The cleaning staff were also helpful and friendly This bedroom had a nicer bed than the room we stayed in previously.

Aufmerksames Personal das sich um alles kümmert mit Zimmerservice auch noch um 15.00 Uhr. Landestypisches Frühstück auf der Dachterasse. Gut und reichhaltig mit abwechselnden Speisen. Wer deutsches oder englisches Frühstück möchte ist sicher hier nicht richtig. Natürlich gibt es keinen Speck oder Wurst vom Schwein, aber Süßspeisen, Gebäck, Joghurt, Obst, Salate, Eier, gebratenes Gemüse usw. Lage im Touristengebiet. Wo andere mit Bus oder Straßenbahn erst hinkommen müssen, bist Du schon.

Haus ist hellhörig wegen Holzböden. Konstruktion und Alter des Hauses ist für dieses Viertel typisch. Gilt aber für alle Gäste die gegenseitig Rücksicht nehmen müssen und dies auch taten. Dachterasse ist nur über Treppe erreichbar.

Fantastyczna lokalizacja, cisza, spokój, a jednocześnie blisko do wszystkich zabytków. Pyszne śniadanie w restauracji na tarasie: duży wybór i bardzo urozmaicone. Wybór tego hotelu był znakomitą decyzją.

Achei a minha estadia excelente, desde o primeiro contacto quando fiz a reserva foi tudo explicado pelo Sr. Ismail que foi sempre muito atencioso durante a estadia. Adorei o quarto, bem espaçoso e bastanta confortável, em relação á limpesa também nada de mal a dizer, tanto o quarto quanto todo o hotel está muito arrumado e limpo. O pequeno almoço também muito bem servido e com o bónos de ser servido no terraço do hotel com uma vista excelente para o estreito do Bósforo de um lado e do outro para a Mesquita Azul. O Hotel fica muito bem situado, a 5 minutos a pé da Mesqita Azul e Haia Sofia. Com muitos restaurantes bem próximo e um pequeno mercado para comprar lembranças. Recomendo vivamente este hotel a quem quizer passar uns dias em Istambul seja em casal ou com a família. Falta salientar que tem um excelente serviço de transfer do Aéroporto para o hotel. Um grande abraço e obrigado a toda a equipe do Darussaade Hotel Old City.

Mały hotel położony w pobliżu Hipodromu, Hagia Sophia i Błękitnego Meczetu. Wszędzie pieszo. Blisko do morza. Spokojna boczna uliczka, co ma znaczenie w Stambule.

Dość monotonne śniadania w formie bufetu. Mały wybór. Niedobra kawa z ekspresu przelewowego.

Rozsądna cena, świetna lokalizacja, niezłe śniadania na dachu, aranżacja oraz przyjazny personel!

Por ser um prédio de 150 anos, alguma coisa sempre existe, porém o atendimento por parte dos funcionários superou qualquer problema

It is obviously an old building from the Old Twon so the bathroom sometimes had a bad smell due to the drainage system.

The room was quite large. It was really very charming and of course it’s in a great location.

An excellent little old-style hotel in the hear of Sultanahmet, walking distance to the local attractions and surrounded by restaurants and stores. The staff are very helpful and super responsive to your questions prior to arrival, and happy to arrange transfers and tours. Good breakfast in a rooftop setting with an excellent view of the blue mosque.

Really great location with a lot of restaurants in the area. Very close to the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. The breakfast was above average. We liked staying here.

Расположение отличное. Голубая мечеть под боком. Окна моего номера выходили на три стороны: голубая мечеть, улица, и море. Относительно тихое место. Уборка в номерах хорошая, все работает. Есть кондиционер, он же обогреватель ( в апреле было немного прохладно). Отель по своему атмосферный и уютный. Завтраки приемлемы, все свежее. Каждый день было не большое разнообразие. В целом мне было достаточно. Всегда было - яйца, три вида сыра, колбаса, помидор, огурец, салат с зеленью, маслины и оливки, два вида хлеба, блинчики, оладушки, мед/варенье/ нутелла, и два вида десерта, может что то еще упустила, кофе, чай, сок, вода. Завтраки на 4 этаже с видом на море, чаек, и некоторую инфраструктуру на округе. В отеле есть лифт. Постельное хорошее. Кровать удобная и два вида подушек. В ванной - шампуни, кондиционер, мыло, шапочка для душка, ватные диски, фен. Зубную щетку захватите. В номере есть чайник, чай/кофе/сахар. Воду пополняют Ежедневно. Есть холодильник с минибаром за доп цену. Персонал приветлив, дружелюбен. Очень теплые воспоминания остались об отеле.

Номера просят обновления. По низу обои расходятся, местами мебель пошоркалась, прикроватные коврики по виду очень хотят в химчистку. Прикроватные светильники из железа, по которому поползла ржавчина. Кресла и стулья - обивка тоже требует химчистки.

Najbardziej urzekło mnie położenie obiektu w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie zabytkowej części Stambułu.

Największym rozczarowaniem były pokoje z widokiem na ściany sąsiednich budynków oraz te usytuowane w suterenie, prawdopodobnie zaadaptowane w celu zwiększenia liczby miejsc noclegowych. Dodatkowo przeszkadzał mi nieprzyjemny zapach, który w moim odczuciu przypominał zapach kociego moczu.

For a stay in Istanbul, right in the heart of the Old Town, Darussade Hotel is perfect. It's old world charm and feel suited us perfectly. Whilst our room was "snug" and not large it was very comfortable and offered everything we could want. The staff were delightful and the breakfast in the roof top restaurant (enclosed) was brilliant. The views left you in no doubt where you were. This hotel has charm and a feel that is so Istanbul.

We loved everything about this hotel - facilities, location, staff and the charm.

Персоналът е много отзивчив и учтив. Местоположението е много удобно, в близост до Синята джамия и всички останали забележителности в Стария град. Закуската беше много добра. Всеки ден почистваха стаята и сменяха кърпите.

This is a lovely hotel located on the edge of many historical sights. The staff are extremely friendly snd very helpful. I would have no hesitation stopping there again.

Świetne położenie, w pobliżu największych zabytków. Śniadanie z widokiem na Błękitny meczet. Bardzo pomocna obsługa, czystość, dobry internet.

Dostawka w dwuosobowym pokoju to jednak ciasno.

Hotel byl velmi útulný. Personál milý, vstřícný a neustále usměvavý. Všude panovala čistota a pořádek. I když nám po celou dobu pobytu pršelo, oblečení vždy do rána krásně uschlo. Topení / klimatizace fungovaly bezchybně. Snídaně byly každý den výborné a vždy se lehce obměňovaly, takže se neomrzely. A kdyby nám počasí přálo, určitě bychom si užili i krásný výhled na Bospor.

I found this part of Istanbul very expensive compared to Beygolu. Also, it wasn't any less hilly. I got very lost and was frustrated that my Google maps werent accurate.

Шикарное постельное белье, очень удобный матрас. Номерной фонд довольно древний( санузел совсем маленький и старенький( В целом, на фото выглядит в разы лучше, считаю по соотношению цена/качество не должен столько стоить.

All the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was more than we expected and varied each day. The location was excellent and convenient for all points of interest. We will definitely come back!

ブルーモスク、アヤソフィア、トプカプ宮殿、バザール等　徒歩圏内にあり便利な場所でした。2日だけの観光でしたが充分楽しめました。空港からの往復タクシーを事前に頼む事が出来ます。時間がない中の滞在でしたのでとても助かりました。また朝食込みなのですがテラスが会場でビュッフェ方式。丁寧に沢山の種類がつくられており楽しみました。 最後日ドーハ空港の封鎖により予定より早めに空港に向かう決断をしたのですが、送迎のタクシーの時間の変更も迅速に対応して下さり、別ルートで予定通り帰国する事が出来ました。

施設自体は古いです。ただし良く手入れされており、清潔でスタッフもフレンドリーで快適に過ごす事が出来ました。

スタッフの方が本当に優しくて、部屋も可愛くて景色も良くて、心が満たされました！ 部屋からの景色も、朝食会場からの景色も全部良かったです。 ツアーの提案もしてくださったので、クルーズ船を楽しむことも出来ました。 今回は2泊しましたが、朝食が毎回少し内容が変わってて、連泊しても楽しめると思います♪

部屋にティッシュがないので、トイレットペーパーを代用してました！ 3階の部屋は中階段のようなものがあり、大きいキャリーケースを運ぶときは少し大変かもしれません。 トイレの蓋を閉めると、開けた時に便座がくっついてきてしまうのでいちいち外さないといけない所が少し不便でした。

スタッフの方の対応もとても良く、チェックインする時に教えてくださった地図はとても参考になりました！事前に恋人の誕生日のことを伝えるとサプライズをするために相談に乗っていただきありがとうございました！ またブルーモスクやアヤソフィアなど主要観光地に徒歩ですぐに行くことができ、人通りの多い場所にあったので周りの治安も良かったです。 新しいホテルではないですが、清潔でレトロな感じがまた良かったです。朝食も毎日新鮮で違うメニューが用意されており満足しました。

ティッシュの用意がありませんでした。カッパドキアで泊まったホテルもティッシュがなかったのでトルコのホテルはティッシュがないのかもしれません…
