Henna Hotel Istanbul

Om te beginnen, de locatie van het hotel was ideaal: vlakbij en op loopafstand van de Blue Mosk, de Hagia Sophia, Topkapi paleis, Cisterna Basilica en andere bezienswaardigheden. De kamer was ruim genoeg met een grote badkamer met douche. De allergrootste troef van het hotel was het dakterras met uitzicht op de Bosporus en de eerder genoemde bezienswaardigheden. Een heerlijke locaties voor het voortreffelijke ontbijt of een drankje bij zonsondergang.Het personeel was in een woord geweldig. Super aardig en heel behulpzaam.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and modern. A real sanctuary from the bustle outside. The manager Sema is a wonderful person who will look after you completely. You can tell this hotel is well managed. The staff are all so friendly and helpful it feels like a family. They made me delicious coffees with a smile and always chatted with me to check all my needs were met. Reception is always helpful and the breakfast staff are superb. Extra thanks to the hidden kitchen team who make the most delicious breakfast day after day. Can’t wait to return as the beds are more comfortable than my own.

The rooms can be small but I was kindly shown some larger options for next time.

Three fantastic days in Istanbul with my beautiful wife. ❤️ The hotel is lovely and perfectly located in the heart of Sultanahmet. All the main attractions are within walking distance, and there are always taxis available just a few steps from the hotel. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar are all very close. The price was more than reasonable, and a very good breakfast was included. It is served on a spectacular rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. 🌅 The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the cleanliness was excellent, and our room was very comfortable and pleasant. For us, it was an excellent choice for visiting Istanbul. Highly recommended! ❤️🇹🇷

The hotel was in an amazing location. All of the staff were so friendly and the manager really went out of her way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. I could not recommend this hotel more.

lovely breakfast and exceptional staff can i just say 2 of the staff engin and nurrullah are a credit to the hotel,nothing was to much trouble for them and they bent over backwards to help,the hotel is a better place for them being in it,it was a pleasure to be served breakfast by them,also hussain was a lovely person and could do enough to help you,a lovely pleasant polite young man also a credit to the henna hotel,and not forgetting the manageress so helpful and a lovely person

The neighbour music requires the window to stay closed evenings. It is a minor issue however and does not change the overall great impression.

Rooftop deck amazing. Room good, though quite small. Cafe on site and lots of restaurants in near vicinity. Staff very helpful, especially the General Manager Sema.

The manager was so welcoming and accommodating. Every time we returned she said, “Welcome home.” The rooftop had a beautiful view and the breakfast was bountiful!

The garden isn’t really a garden! It’s a splash pool with some greenery.

The hotel is very nicely decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff, specially the manager, are really special and make you feel looked after. My room was very comfortable and a great place to come back after a day of sightseeing. The locations is central and safe. The breakfast terrace is wonderful and the breakfast is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend and come back

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich großartig. Sowohl der Manager als auch das gesamte Personal waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist hervorragend, die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sehr sauber. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit einem wunderschönen Panoramablick.

La localización es inmejorable si quieres visitar la parte histórica, las habitaciones están renovadas, no son muy grandes pero están limpias y las camas hiper cómodas. Tienen un rooftop con vistas a la mezquita azul y al estrecho en el que puedes subir tu propia comida y bebida, lo que hace que sea muy cómodo, las vistas son muy similares a las de los restaurantes de alrededor. Lo mejor sin duda el personal, súper atento

This hotel was fantastic and in a perfect location. Walking distance to the main town and lovely views from the rooftop bar. The staff were all brilliant and so friendly and the cleaners were great. The breakfast buffet was lovely with a great selection of food. Sema the manager was amazing and was always making sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay! I’d highly recommend staying at this hotel.

В вечернее время мы устраивали в фойе чаепитие (с нас не взяли ни лиры) и танцы, к которым присоединялись и хозяйка и жители отеля. В целом, это было незабываемо! От всей нашей прекрасной группы огромная благодарность! К вам хочется возвращаться и мы это обязательно сделаем!

What I liked about Henna Hotel Perfect location, within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Agia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. You can also walk down to the sea-again within walking distance (Bosphorus)where you can easily find taxi and buses. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were spotless, and the rooftop has an amazing view — especially beautiful for enjoying the city and the Bosphorus. A special mention to Sema, the General Manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful from the very first moment and made sure everything was taken care of. A wonderful experience overall. I highly recommend Henna Hotel!

It was hot in Istanbul and when we arrived the room had thanks to the AC the perfect temperature. We had a very warm welcome from both the receptionist and the hotel manager. Creating memorable moments was a key priority for the Hotel and we enjoyed Lokum, Tea and Cookies at the rooftop terrace. The service level at breakfast was high, the people engaging and authentic. We wish you all the best for the Future and will be back!

The place was beautiful and the location perfect

The location was excellent and easy walking distance to major sites, shop, restaurants, and bars. It was also very quick to catch a Uber or taxi right in front of the hotel. The manager, Sema, was extremely welcoming and helpful, as were the staff. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was varied and excellent during our three night stay.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time and loved everything, but after returning and spending three nights in a room overlooking the inner courtyard, we became even more convinced of our positive impression. The hotel has a beautiful design that feels calm and elegant without ever being boring. The rooftop is outstanding, offering breathtaking views of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Bosphorus. The breakfasts were excellent, the staff was exceptionally attentive, and we received a very warm welcome.

The location is just amazing! I liked everything about the hotel. Delicious breakfast and super helpful and nice staff. Two minutes walk to the Aya Sofia and the main tourist spots in the centre. Terrace is great too. All in all the price and quality match is a win. 👍🏼

There are not enough words to fully describe the experience my family and I had in Istanbul staying at Henna Hotel during our visit. Sema and her staff were absolutely wonderful and very hospitable. Space & Layout: Our rooms were on the ground level with a connection in the small courtyard, so it felt very homelike. We got two separate rooms, each one was a queen bedroom, and they were very spacious. The bathroom was also amazing; it included an area for a stand up only shower with a glass door, a big sink, and a toilet, and it was all very modern. There was even a wardrobe for storing clothing, as well as a table and drawers. We were surprised by how well utilized the space was. It was very clean and looked very modern too with its lighting installation. The location of the charging outlets was also on point. Comfort: The bed was very firm and had a comforter that worked very well as we slept through the night comfortably. There is an AC so you can set it to your own comfort level. Provisions: They provide in room toiletries like lotion, shower gel, hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner, along with other little essential room amenities for the stay. There is a mini fridge for your drinks and hotel provided bottles of water stocked in there. Location: The hotel is located on a popular street of restaurants and stores, and it is less than a 10 minute walk from the grand Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and local bazaars. The Grand Bazaar is another 10 to 15 minutes away, but you may get enticed by the many markets and shops along the way. There is no shortage of interactions and interesting monuments for memorable moments you will have. It was great to know that the hotel was so close by. Highlights: We booked our stay with the breakfast buffet included and we were very impressed by the Turkish breakfast delicacies that were available. Everything was very filling.

Hotel is located in the best possible spot, walking distance from the most important monuments of the old town. Around the hotel, there are a lot of excellent restaurants, but breakfast on the roof of the hotel, with the view over the whole Istanbul, is something you hardly forget. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, like visiting your own family, rooms are perfectly clean and well managed.

The hotel was in a fabulous location, directly in the middle of countless bars and restaurants. Despite this, it was a quiet and peaceful stay. Staff were wonderful, room (courtyard) was spacious, clean and modern. Hotel not licensed but happy for us to bring in drinks to drink on the roof terrace. Would 💯 stay again. Highly recommended.

The location is outstanding due to that we can have a walking access to the main sightseeing spots such as Blue Mosque. The hotel itself is clean and designed simply. All hotel staff are kind and professional, especially the manager is attentive to the details. She prepared for the breakfast box as we couldn’t eat breakfast due to early check-out. This hotel's most favorable point is that the guest can use the rooftop with excellent view freely for 24 hours. I used it in the midnight for meetings with different time zone. The meeting, with its view of the Bosphorus Strait and the Blue Mosque, was fantastic.

The hotel is in an excellent location, minutes walk from the main tourist attractions. The rooms are modern, well appointed and immaculately clean.

The hotel manager (Sima) is truly one of the best managers we have come across, her attention to detail for all hotel customers was unparalleled. All of the hotel staff were super friendly (and smiley) making our stay in this hotel so memorable.
