Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Un luogo super accogliente dove passare la prima notte in Sri Lanka! La mia camera al d marit Motel era incredibilmente spaziosa, luminosa e arredata con gusto. Nota di merito assoluta va alla pulizia, davvero impeccabile in ogni angolo, cosa che ho apprezzato tantissimo. Se cercate un posto confortevole e ospitale, questo è l'alloggio perfetto!

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026The place feels very modern and spacious. It's set back from the main street so it's reasonably peaceful but there are some nice cafes and restaurants only a few minutes' walk away. The balconies and outdoor spaces are nice. Good AC, comfortable bed and modern amenities.
The bathroom sink waste pipe was leaking and made the floor wet. But that's just a maintenance issue and could be easily fixed.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026La camera dell'hotel era grande e spaziosa, così come il bagno. Era dotata di tutti i comfort, aria condizionata, prodotti per il bagno (e addirittura il phon!) e acqua calda. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile, mi ha organizzato il transfer all'aeroporto la mattina presto. La posizione è ottima perchè la struttura è a soli 15 minuti di macchina dall'aeroporto. Consigliato!
Probabilmente c'era una perdita in bagno che ho segnalato alla struttura. Non ci fosse stata quella, il mio voto sarebbe stato 10! :)

The host has thought of everything that includes a first aid kit and a a fully stocked refrigerator with beverages you pay for. It is located in a quiet area. The host is helpful and kind. I highly recommend this property.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Super freundliches Personal. Wir durften unser Tuktuk unterstellen. Es gab einen Föhn und das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Lage war auch sehr gut. Flussläufig viele Restaurants zu erreichen. Preis-Leistung top!
Es hat ein wenig gebraucht bis das Wasser warm wurde, aber das ist Jammern auf höchstem Niveau.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Such a beautiful and peaceful hotel in Negombo. I extended my stay as soon as I arrived. The hosts are extremely kind people and welcomed me even at odd hours with my flight being delayed. The bed is super comfortable, really nice shower, the AC is powerful, the WiFi is good, and the area is quiet. Plus, the relaxing ambience of the room allowed me to get rested up and relax after my long flights and before my onward journey around Sri Lanka. I enjoyed having a balcony with a beautiful view as well. There is also a shared kitchen for use, which I appreciated so I could make myself a warm lemon water and throw together a light breakfast in the morning. The location is also perfect, close to the airport and central to many great restaurants and beaches. It has such a tranquil energy that I haven’t felt in many other hotels I’ve stayed in around the world. I will definitely stay here again, and hopefully before I head home. Thank you! 🌸

Reviewed May 10, 2026Before traveling to Sri Lanka, I debated whether to spend my first night in Colombo or Negombo. Choosing Negombo turned out to be an excellent decision, especially because I stayed at this wonderful guesthouse. The room was clean and spacious, and there was plenty of hot water for a shower—exactly what I needed to recover after a long flight. The guesthouse is located just off Lewis Place and only a short walk from the beach. There are a couple of cafés/restaurants right on the sand. If your arrival time allows, I highly recommend grabbing a cold drink and watching the sunset! Starting your trip with such a beautiful sunset is a wonderful way to begin your journey in Sri Lanka.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026We started and finished our Sri Lanka adventure at this property—and we know exactly why. The family who runs it is attentive, caring, and incredibly friendly. They even helped us when my friend’s flight was cancelled, which we truly appreciated. The room is new, cozy, and spotlessly clean, and the bathroom is as well, with hot water available all day. The property is located on a quiet street, so nothing disturbs you during the night. We would definitely return on our next visit to Sri Lanka. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality :)

The sink was broken and we had to let the lady who works there know. Also you can only pay with cash which I did not see on the booking.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026入口で靴を脱ぐスタイルなので、宿全体が綺麗。部屋も広くてバルコニーも付いていて綺麗。共有キッチンや共有バルコニーも広い。ビールも売っていて良かった。周りに店やレストランも多く、ビーチまでも徒歩5分位。深夜便だったので、ホテル高めのコロンボより、空港に近いネゴンボの方がいいかと思って泊まったが正解だった。
強いて言えば多少冷房が弱かった。

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Die Unterkunft liegt zwar in der Nähe der Hauptstraße, ist aber gleichzeitig weit genug entfernt, sodass man nachts absolut ruhig und entspannt schlafen kann. Das gesamte Haus sowie die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind schlicht eingerichtet, bieten aber alles, was man braucht – insbesondere die bequemen Betten und die Sauberkeit haben uns überzeugt. Besonders positiv ist die separate Dusche, da so nicht das gesamte Badezimmer unter Wasser steht. Die Gastgeberin ist ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich sehr angenehm macht. Für unsere Weiterreise von Negombo nach Sigiriya haben wir über die PickMe-App eine Fahrt gebucht und dabei zufällig den Nachbarn des Hotels kennengelernt: Mithun. Ein junger, sehr sympathischer und zuverlässiger Fahrer, der uns sicher und komfortabel nach Sigiriya gebracht hat. Einfach beim Nachbarn klingeln und nach ihm fragen – absolute Empfehlung! Wir können sowohl die Unterkunft als auch Mithun als Fahrer uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen.

It was so nice to take a really nice shower here after staying in hostels and sleep in a comfortable double bed with a bacolny!
