Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Family run hotel (more of a bed and breakfast than a ‘hotel’). Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Nice Sri Lankan breakfast, and accommodated our fussy kids. I have seen a couple of uncharitable reviews here. So this is more recent than those that say the air con doesn’t work, it does. The room was clean and perfectly functional for a family. If you expect the Ritz, pay for the Ritz. Great value for a pre or post airport stay.

The facilities really need some maintenance including the furniture. The pain from the ceilings and walls was flaking off. There were marks on the walls in both the private and communal areas. The aircon didn’t work well. The water temperature was uncontrollable.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Trudno powiedzieć, ponieważ pokoj o ile byl ładny, to był brudny, liczne pajeczyny o kurz widoczne w każdym kacie. Ze szpar w ścianach wychodzą karaluchy. Naprawdę niewiele trzeba, aby pokoj był czysty, ale personel nie widzi tego problemu.
Słabo sprzątany pokoj, brak części wspólnej, bo o ile jest jadalnia z salonem to jest to cześć w której wypoczywają właściciele, więc każdorazowe wyjście z pokoju zakłócało ich spokoj. Przez to nie czuliśmy sie komfortowo.

Im Dreibettzimmer war das Doppelbett sehr unbequem, Matratze sollte mal getauscht werden, einen neuen Anstrich könnte das Zimmer auch vertragen

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025Lovely hosts! They were really helpful and kind and helped us whenever we needed anything. They went above and beyond - true Sri Lankan hospitality! The breakfast was great and changed everyday. The AC rooms was nice, spacious and the bed were comfy.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Hotel czysty, wygodne łóżko, pyszne śniadanie lankijskie w formie bufetu. Po przyjeździe drink powitalny, w pokoju czajnik, herbata, cukier i woda. Gospodarz bardzo miły i troskliwy. Odwiózł nas odpłatnie również na lotnisko. Bardzo polecam.

The host told us where to go and where not to go, which made us feel safe. Browns beach was a short walk away, very nice!

La habitación está en peores condiciones de lo que parece en las fotos, las paredes se desconchan y tienen bastante manchas de humedades, al menos la que nos tocó a nostros. El desayuno casero pero muy muy local.

La stanza era semplice ma con tutto a disposizione, un balconcino, acqua calda, connessione internet ottima. Colazioni molto buone. Siamo state bene.. Consiglio inoltre il massaggio pubblicizzato in locandina. Prezzi ottimi, ambiente molto bello e super massaggio.

房间太老旧了，实物跟图片不符，本来是贪有早餐又有接送机才订这家酒店，后面房东女儿说要3千块钱付费才能送机，其实收钱送机可以理解，但是收费市场价的3倍就很离谱了，所以我自己叫了车，但是最失望的是房间老旧，床单很脏，然后空调遥控器经常控制失灵，房间还很多蚊虫，看着也是很无奈，还好只是住一天，多一天都不想呆，感觉不值这个价钱！

Reviewed May 10, 2025La chambre etaitt tres spacieuse et propre. Le propriétaire, discret reste tres accueillant et a à coeur que votre séjour se passe bien. Il nous a fait découvrir le petit déjeuner traditionnel sri lankais tout en s'adaptant à nos besoins. L'hotel est bien situé à 10 mn à pied environ de la plage, 4 mn du canal et de nombreux tuk tuk passent. La rue est paisible.
Un coup de peinture serait utile pour rafaîchir le plafond de la salle de bains.

Хозяйка встретила очень вкусным прохладным смузи, что было очень кстати нам, обалдевшим после холодной России в душном климате Шри ) номер простой, подуставший, но чистенько. Вечером хозяин отвез нас в кафе, где можно недорого и вкусно поесть. Утром был хороший завтрак. Плюс по нашей просьбе вызвали тук-тук, водитель которого так же любезно посадил нас в нужный автобус. Вообще, семья очень приветливая, доброжелательная, очень стараются. чтоб гостям у них понравилось. и за это 10ка
можно сделать освещение в номере чуть теплее , а так - все хорошо

Reviewed Mar 9, 2025It’s very clean and comfortable. All basic facilities are available and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. Very good budget friendly option in Negombo to consider for your first or last day in Sri Lanka. Breakfast is very good and they have mostly vegetarian options. AC works and there’s hot water available in the bathroom. Kettle is available in the room. Since I had a small child, hosts allowed me to cook basic food for the baby as well in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2025The family who run this are so lovely and went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The room was very spacious and clean; Lovely home prepared breakfast.
There was a day long power cut so the place was stifling - this was out of the hotels control of course. If I am being very picky, the walls were heavily marked / stained in places so a fresh lick of paint would make all the difference, but that’s the only improvement I could suggest.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2025Lovely little hotel in Negombo great for a stopover on way to/from the airport. Close to the beach, run by a truly lovely family. The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. Bathrooms were clean and the shower had good hot water. The homemade breakfast in the morning was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
