Thought they would of put milk in fridge and bread also no tea spoons other than that was good

The position was fantastic. The weather was good to us ☺️ The apartment was lovely . The "dog garden" was a lovely addition. We had a lovely weekend regardless of the room being at the very top . We ate out at the Tomahawk restaurant, which was fantastic. The View, the Food and the Staff were 5⭐️

I think the apartment would benefit from a couple of USB sockets. We also happened upon a filming weekend, parking was almost impossible for our vehicles , we found spaces a fair way fom where we were staying on roads nearby. A heads up would've been appreciated. Our apartment was also at the very top of the house 51 stairs , some steeper than others. (I did choose this one) didn't realise how high it was.😏.

Perfect location, all you need within a few minutes walk.. Good choice of places to eat. Spotlessly clean despite they allow pets, you would never know.

Difficult to get parked

Excellent location near to the town centre and seafront. The apartment has a good bathroom and kitchen.

Living and sleeping areas cramped. The bed was reasonably comfortable but took up virtually all the floor space at the rear of the apartment. The mattress was virtually on the floor. There was very little room to get changed or dressed. There was a couple of inches between the edge of the bed and the bathroom door. There is no drawer space for clothing and only a small alcove with a few hangers. Whilst the bathroom was good overall, it has a very small hand basin snug to the wall making shaving very difficult. The living area is cramped with a small and uncomfortable sofa with little leg room whilst watching TV. There is very poor sound proofing from the apartment above.

Everything!, we stopped in the Swan Sanctuary and it was wonderful. Met the cleaner on arrival and she had done a great job everywhere spotless. The apartment was well equipped and the kitchen had everything and more, all you need to bring is food. It's very high tech but manuel's for oven ect in a folder in the cupboard. Kept well informed about everything by email. Shops restaurant and station 5 min walk free parking can be found on the surrounding streets.

The only issue for some were the steps they are quite narrow and steep. No issue for us and I guess the same in all the houses in the area due to design.

A few issues that were eventually resolved

The studio flat was clean, organised and thought was put into the little details. The bed was beautifully made and as soft as a cloud. The hand soap in the bathroom smelt lovely and there was a cute little bow on the toilet roll. Although I only stayed for 1 night, there was plenty of options in the kitchen to cook food if needed. As well as cutlery and dishes. I also liked that I could have access to a garden with seating areas at any time day or night which came in handy with an energetic dog.

The only cons I could give to the flat is that a few items were broke such as the toilet roll holder which was a little wobbly and one of the blinds was unable to be closed due to the chain being caught in it. The other thing that prehaps was a little inconvenient was that there was a gap underneath the door to my room which meant I could see the light going on and off when people left their rooms as well as being able to hear them which did make my dog on edge and protectively bark when he heard people outside the door.

Loved this Air bnb. A home away from home great location. Host had great communication. There are a lot of steps but it kept me fit so I didnt mind. Highly recommend.

It was very hot but that was dur to unusual hot weather.

The apartment was in general very nice and well set out. The facilities were excellent, everything you might need was provided. The only issue we had was the bed.

The bed was small and crammed into the space. There was only 6 inches of room at each side of the bed, which made it difficult to get in and out of it. The mattress was uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when you moved. We didn't get any sleep on the first night. Consequently, the remaining nights we slept, one in the bed and one on the settee. Not an ideal solution, as you can imagine.

The apartment was in the perfect location. At the top of the street was the town centre and at the bottom of the street was the beach. It was very clean , very well furnished and very well presented. It had everything we needed for our stay. I had a slight problem getting the oven started but my host was on hand straight away to help solve this. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Not a major issue but the bed was a little bit uncomfortable. Could probably do with a new mattress. The oven took a bit of working out but that could have just been me.

Great communication from the host. The apartment was lovely and comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Excellent location too. Thank you.

Location was central

Lack of sufficient cutlery. Only one desert spoon and no teaspoons. A cafetiere would be good for people who like good ground coffee, and a steamer insert for one of the pans, We really like staying at this appartment. It is very comfortable and clean. This was our second visit andcwe hope to return next year.

The flat was spacious, spotless and in an ideal location. It was well equipped.

There were a lot of stairs to get to the flat. It was difficult to park close by.

This isnt a criticism but the apartment was very warm, and i did struggle to sleep albeit this wasnt a comfort issue based on the bed. I appreciate on 2nd floor but could have done with windows being able to open a bit wider.

It was in a good location, was clean and was well equipped. It was good to have washing up materials and some supplies of tea, coffee etc provided. The studio flat had been well designed so it felt quite roomy. It was easy to contact the host .

The sofa was rather uncomfortable . We would have liked a lighter quilt or just a sheet for the bed during this hot weather, but the fan provided did help. The £250 deposit seemed expensive but it was returned promptly.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Black Pearl Stays – Saltburn Apartments. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location was great, making it easy to explore Saltburn and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We would happily stay here again when visiting Saltburn in the future.

Great facilities, very clean and great location. Communication was excellent.

We stopped in Blue Lagoon apartment on the 2nd floor and the bedroom is quite narrow with very little space to get in an out of bed. Not an issue for us but may be for someone with restricted mobility.

The location was beautiful easy reach for a walk along the beach and amenities were so easy to get to and within reach we were here for a family wedding and the venue was only 6 minutes away

Conveniant for sea front.Fairly spacious clean apartment. Bed and shower both good. Full kitchen.

Rug in main area was a bit grubby and sofa wasn't very comfortable. No dishwasher in kitchen.

Very pretty apartment with everything you need and more. You can see the sea from the window. Location is great for what you pay!

Excellent location

No storage for clothes other than hanging space (but very few hangers). Nowhere to put anything in bathroom/bedroom other than the floor or chair. Hairdryer didn’t work which if I’d known I’d have bought mine with me, very disappointed as it was my 60th birthday celebrations whilst we were there and had to go out with wet hair!! 😞 Also no mirror in bathroom.

Well appointed and decorated apartment spread over 2 floors. Good location near the sea front, bars and restaurants, lovely walks and a large Sainsburys supermarket.

The steep stairs up to the apartment were quite challenging.

Front door was sometimes hard to lock. Seating area outside would be better if partitioned from the other apartments.

The apartment was very close to the town centre. The living area was quite roomy with sofa, dining table and well appointed kitchen.

Whole apartment was very nice, clean and well appointed for access to all of Saltburn by the Sea.

Nothing we didn't like. An automatic light in the wardrobe would be an ideal addition. We couldn't find coffee pods to buy locally that fit the machine in tje apartment.

Beautiful apartment

It was all fantastic. No issues whatsoever.

Lovely first floor one bedroomed apartment. Clean, comfortable, stylish and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Close to the promenade, pier, beach, bars, restaurants, cafes, supermarket, high street and train station. And all within walking distance. On street parking is free and I had no problem finding a space for the duration of my trip.

We stayed in Anchor Den on the second floor and it was stylish, comfortable and quiet with everything we needed. Good size fridge and kitchen and the dining/tv area was fine. Great location for seafront and town. Lovely host who enquired if there was anything we needed the day after we arrived. A thoughtful gesture.

A bit cramped to access the bathroom dog Pooh in the outdoor area left by lazy dog owner and overflowing dustbins also,not property related having to sign an online rental contract never ever had to do this with booking.com before also paying a£250 bond for any damages so won’t be staying there again. Also what sounded like a bowling alley from the guest above our room.

A great property- fabulous location, clean property and great joining instructions before and during the stay.

The position of the apartments, you couldn't get more central. And a major plus, we managed to park right outside the front door. Apartment was absolutely spotless.

The only problem I had was finding the apartment in the building we were on the 1st floor but there was no sign on outer door letting you know the name of the two apartments within so took a while to get my bearings

Good value. So close to centre of town yet quiet. And myrna was so helpful with our request nothing was to much trouble.

Location was central. Easy to find with instructions. It had a tub, a washer, and generally was what I expected.

They gave me the wrong entry code and I waited an hour out front waiting for the right code. That was pretty lame. I had just finished a long hike and was tired, hungry, and dirty. Also the bathroom sink was postage stamp sized for some reason.

The apartment was beautiful. I had everything I needed. The check-in was very smooth.

Second floor - very steep flight of stairs. Carpet not fitted down securely. Could slip and have a very bad fall. Similarly, narrow outside concrete steps leading down to a yard where the bins are. And similarly the steps down from entrance hall to lounge - loose and very dangerous Big problem gaining access on arrival. No meet and greet. Saw nobody.Got text with key number code.But didn’t work, box doesn’t open as it should do. Kitchen has no curtain and is directly facing sun in morning - impossibly hot in there. No curtains on lounge window No air conditioning If you want a beer, take your own glass and opener. None provided. Just two small glasses - not suitable And take your own bread knife - non provided. Outside - no reserved parking. So you take your chances BIG ISSUE: hidden extra: having to pay a £250 surety against damage. Not told about this until after I had completed payment to B.Com. So forced to pay, to conclude the booking. No choice, can’t pull out unless you lose your B.Com payment. If I’d known before hand, I wouldn’t have booked it. Trade descriptions issue?

The space was lovely - clean with everything you needed, comfy bed, good shower. Very close to the sea front. Owners were helpful and there was information on local amenities. You're close to the station and Sainsburys, and the centre of the town.

The info about finding the lock box was initially a bit confusing, and depending on what link I used, or whether I used Google maps I got a different 'front door' when I put the address in - so I wasn't entirely sure where I was going. However all good once in. Email not a fast way to communicate with the owners (but they were lovely when they did respond, and it wasn't an excessive wait - just not for 'emergencies')

My partner and I recently stayed in ‘The Port Royal’ apartment and we loved it! The apartment was clean, included all amenities that we needed and the bed was super comfy! Our little dog loved the space too and the outside garden was great for her. This was our first time visiting the area and I’d definitely recommend these apartments - the beach on our doorstep and a dog friendly apartment made our stay really easy and enjoyable :) We can’t wait to come back to Saltburn and now we’ve found the perfect spot to stay. Communication from the team was frequent and helpful leading up to and during our stay.

Very well stocked. We could adjust the heating. Thoughtful but dark decor. Owners were available and gave helpful, clear instructions. Saltburn has lots of great cafes, with different specialities.

On second floor up very steep upper staircase (we are in our 70s and with cases it was a struggle). We thought we had booked Ground Floor. Loose stair carpet on short staircase in flat. Being asked to allow maintenance work during our stay, which should have been done before our stay. Lots of scuffs on paintwork in hallway. Underbed and wardrobe shelf dusty. Access to main rubbish bins being in the garden two floors down and out through a fire exit in back garden. Didn’t like extra cost for cleaning and services fee when booking.com said price all inclusive, a well as large breakages deposit.

Great location for both the beach, shops bars and restaurants. Sainsbury is literally a few minutes walk. The apartment was small but the layout was well designed and had everything you required for your stay. It was exceptionally clean and the staff very helpful

The only thing for me which is more me than the apartment is I would have preferred a separate bedroom. This was a last minute booking and I would book again.

The location is great

The parking was a gamble. We couldn't park when we arrived, but later on we found a spot. The oven wasn't working and reported, they said the would send maintenance but never arrived and tried to call them back the next day but didn't get an answer. Unfortunately, because of this we had to throw food we couldn't take back.

An amazing property, we stayed in the penthouse suite and it is fully featured with everything we could possibly want or need. Friendly staff messaging to check we were ok and if we had any questions, as well as provide recommendations for local places to eat and attractions. Extremely comfortable stay and we will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic location, easy to get into with clear instructions and everything was exactly as described. I loved having a great kitchen and living space to hang out. Easy walking distance to shops, groceries, the beach. After coming from some very crowded beach towns, I loved that this town was a little more for the locals and, still busy but not heaving so I could just relax. It was genuinely perfect.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable and the shower was very hot but the overall stay was really great and I loved everything else about staying there.

The sofa was so unbearably uncomfortable, needs replacing ASAP- you could feel springs through the flimsy cushion. Also the mattress needs replacing, it dips into the middle and therefore not ideal for sharing a bed & also causes back pain.

Really nice apartment and very clean, very relaxing.

The lock boxes were problematic, hard to unlock and a little worn. I also couldn't open it to drop the keys back off so had to call the number on my booking. I also had trouble locking the front door. I felt that communication in general could have been a bit more present, though responses on email did happen, but if there could be a bit more assurance there would be a person around to speak to properly if any problems that would have improved the stay. However I would happily return as it was a nice place.

The property was clean but could really do with some maintenance. The outside of the property looked a little run down. And inside the apartment we stayed in had some maintenance issues.

Everything from start to finish, perfect location

Clean, spacious, looks fabulous! Great location with many bars, pubs and eating places nearby. The Town is lovely with lots of great independent shops. I was sad that the funicular railway was closed for renovation, but I look forward to visiting when it's up and running again.
