Très bon motel, idéal pour y passer une nuit ! Le gérant parle très bien anglais, c'est agréable ! Il donne également des recommandations sur les choses à faire et les lieux pour diner. Chambre propre. Bon rapport qualité-prix !

It was a very comfortable Motel located in a quiet location of the town and the owner and the family that owns it were super kind and really nice people. I loved my stay here and it was the ideal kind of place for me to stay during my very last days in Vietnam before going to Cambodia. Everything was clean and went really good.

Chambre et salle de bain propre avec tout le nécessaire. Une grande armoire. Une bouilloire un frigo. Personnel adorable qui nous a réservé le bus pour notre prochaine étape.

On a passé un très bon séjour ici principalement grâce à nos hôtes. L'accueil et le service sont au top ! Les excursions en bateau ainsi que la journée dans la campagne de Can tho proposés par l'hôtel sont à faire sans hésiter ! La chambre est sympa et l'hôtel est situé dans une zone au calme à une 15aine de minutes à pied du centre ville mais ce qui donne l'occasion de traverser le pont, emplacement privilégié pour avoir une vue sur le village flottant.

Très belle chambre , propre , bien équipée , tres calme . Ce petit hôtel se trouve à 10 mn à pied des villages flottants , de la ville et de son marché . il suffit de traverser le pont . .le propriétaire est d une grande gentillesse , il m a organisé pour un prix très raisonnable une visite en scooter pour découvrir la campagne autour de chau doc , la forêt de Tra su et les temples sur le mont sam .. À ne pas manquer .. je recommande fortement cet hôtel .. le rapport qualité prix est exceptionnel .

Le proprio est vraiment dédié. Mais la chambre manque d’amour. C’est vieux et très petit. Mais ça a fait l’affaire pour 2 nuits. Et c’est génial de pouvoir louer un scooter sur place.

Vieux et draps et murs tachés.

L’emplacement est légèrement excentré, mais ça se fait en marchant. Par contre la gare est loin. L'avantage c'est qu'il y a moins de circulation une fois qu’on est dans la petite rue. Il y a des restaurants et des cafés autour. Le propriétaire nous a aidé à prendre un bus pour la suite de notre périple et il a aussi appelé deux moto-taxi pour faire le tour des principales attractions. L’eau de la douche est bien chaude. Possible de remplir sa gourde. Le lit est immense.

De gastheer was enorm hulpzaam om onze verdere reis te plannen. Hi mams echt een verschil uit.

Never the lesser there were some gekko’s in the room who had left some souvenirs on the bed.

Personnel à l'écoute, facilité de communication par l'anglais. Petit motel propre, confortable pour un transit à Chau Doc, pas trop loin du centre, à pieds une vingtaine de minutes en taxi 5 minutes. Quartier calme.

Gérants de l'hôtel toujours disponibles, chaleureux et arrangeants (ils nous ont trouvé une chambre alors que l'hôtel affichait complet, nous ont commandé un taxi, etc.) ; merci beaucoup ! L'hôtel était également très propre.

Un peu excentré, mais à proximité d'un café sympa ; proposer un service de location de vélos (ou renseigner sur l'adresse de loueurs à proximité) serait un vrai plus au vu de la localisation. Également, l'hôtel est un peu froid, manque de convivialité.

Très propre, abordable et au calme mais à proximité quand même de la ville. L’hôte parle très bien anglais et est très sympathique, il nous a aidé à organiser notre prochain trajet et nous a amené à la gare.

Les propriétaires sont adorables. Ils ont organisé une excursion pour nous, sa femme nous avais préparé de délicieux bahn mi a emporter pour la pause déjeuner. Nous avons eu des soucis pour le transfert vers Ben Tré avec la fête de Têt, les bus étaient pleins, le propriétaire a tout fait pour nous trouver une solution ! Il m'a aussi indiqué un bon endroit pour acheter une carte Sim. Nous sommes reconnaissants pour leur aide. Le coin aussi est très sympa, paisible, il suffit de traverser le pont pour être en ville. Si vous passez en dessous du pont vous trouverez une rue charmante, d'un village flottant, avec ses habitants très accueillants et curieux de vous rencontrer :)

Super friendly and helpfull host !

The hotel was around 20 min from the centre by walk. The owner was really nice and helped us book a bus and gave us some helpful advice.

The staff was friendly and the stay was pleasant.

We loved the quiet location, the attention of the owner to all our needs.He organised everything we asked for , hired us a scooter which was great and told us where to go.Great value for money!!! I certainly recommend this lovely family run hotel.

Host Mr Phu and his wife have good English and were always to hand to help and give advice. The room had a desk, comfy bed and good food (stops by 730pm) nearby with cold beer. Amazing fish tank looked big enough to swim in. Prompt laundry service and a very quiet location. Bicycle was brought inside when not being used. Recommend a trip to the bar of Chau Doc Hotel and the streetside Bun Car food opposite and next to the COOP.

Advertising sign outside the window was so bright the curtain could not block the light which went out about 5am.

Cheap, clean and out of the clatter. The owner is friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean rooms, window, everything you need. Good English, we also rented a scooter without any problems with them. He even lowered the price, as we only used it half day, and overall was very friendly.

We asked for help with our onward journey to Phu Quoc (Bus to Ha Tien, then ferry) and also for the price of it. The owner called a guy and said we should ask him about the price. Got initially quoted 650K per person and agreed on 600K. He said the bus alone would be 250k and that is special service to take care of everything. On our way, we saw that the bus had a sign of 100K and the ferry ticket 216K. I appreciate that there is a service surcharge, but this felt like a rip-off. All the local people on the bus got the same service, with their ferry ticket brought to them by the bus driver as well and the stop in front of the pier. I know this is not done directly by the hotel, so I don't rate it too much here, but good service of the hotel would be if the owner could have told us a fair price before (as we asked for it), or even pre-negotiate a rate for his customes, or not work with someone that over-charges it's customers. As said, all the rest was good, however, and we didn't have such a feeling yet when we booked busses via other hostels, so I am only a bit sad about this.

The owner is a nice person. He can speak good English. He is very helpful. His wife is also helpful but cannot speak English as good as her husband.

The price to wash clothes is expensive because he told me he outsource to someone else to wash your clothes. I paid 50k VND and my clothes wasn't that much and it came back with dry soap spots. I ask them to fix it and they charge me another 40K VND to wash off the soap spots that they have cause in the first place. Make no sense to me why they charge me extra for their mistakes. I recommend you wash your own clothes in your shower area and then dry it on the large back balcony. I recommend the owner tell the people who wash clothes to use gel soap instead of powder soap. This will not leave a dry soap stains on clothes.

You need a motorbike or a bike to reach the city centre easily

Chau Doc has given us a lot of satisfaction during our visit. The city is warm and people is caring and interested to you, they will invite you to sit and eat/drink with them. It was a highlight in our Vietnam trip so far. Chau Doc is great to cycle/biking around in the fields. Sam Mountain and the pagoda are also impressive. Big applause to the owner of the hotel, he has been more than helpful, available and kind. I guess that also made our staying there incredibly beautiful. The owner has a buddy that will support you with tours and other needs of your trip!

The family is really lovely! The owner has extremely helpful tips and a motorbike you can rent for a fair price. He's very lovely. We really enjoyed tra su forest (getting there by motorbike) The room is clean and the bed is fine. It's a fair price for what is offered!

It's not exactly in the center. But it's not a terrible location either.

Nice hotel, very good room with good A/C and hot shower. The owner is very nice and he can speak english very well, helped me with the tour to the Tra Su forest and other interesting places around ( btw the tour was really great!), also with the transportation to cambodia. You can also rent a scooter. Location is a bit far from the city but for me it was just a nice walk in the evening :)

perfect place to stay in chau doc. the owners are very nice and speak very good English. they organized me a trip to the tra su forest and ordered me the bus for my next destination, it was very convenient. I can only recommend this hotel.

Great host - very friendly and helpful. Let me use a motorbike to go into the centre in the evening. Also arranged pickup for my onward bus journey The room itself was clean, comfortable and quiet - better than I'd expected for the low price. Located about 1-2km from the centre in a quiet area. A little far to walk to the centre, but bikes & motorbikes are available at the hotel.
