La struttura è in zona ottimale per poter prendere il traghetto la mattina presto per la traversata del Mekong per arrivare in Cambogia. Oltre a questo non posso dire altro: è una struttura semplice, pulita e buona per una notte di passaggio.

Exceptional customer service. It was a very hot day when I arrived, and I was greeted with a special welcome by the manager La Ly, and helped with my bags by the ever cheerful Amach (who despite having never been to the UK can speak in scouse, cockney or geordie!). I went out to eat, only to break a front tooth. I was pretty gutted, as I was only in week 2 of a 9 week stay. La Ly commented (this was Sunday at 4.30pm), and asked if she could help? Within the hour she had booked me an appointment with a friendly local dentist and arranged for Amach to take me on his moped. I would have been lost without their help.  He then translated for me as the dental team spoke no English and acted as my intermediary/liaison with the dentist throughout, checking for updates and calling me when the dentist was ready. Within 48 hours I had a new crown!! The lesson for me? They care about you and want you to have a good stay. They really went above and beyond what anyone could expect. This included local advice on sights and dining and help with my boat trip upstream to Cambodia, which was arranged on my behalf at very good rates. I hardly had to lift a finger.  The hotel is stunning, right in the middle of town and 2 minutes from the river. Everything is very new, the rooms are huge and spotlessly clean. Lovely, soft super comfy beds, knock out air con, a huge TV (which you can stream your phone to), fridge, tea/coffee, water etc all free. I was delighted to meet the team, and although I was only passing through, stayed 2 further nightd and I look forward to seeing them all again when I return. Chau Doc is a taste of real Vietnam and a very friendly town. This was all topped only by Vietnam beating Thailand in the ASEAN Cup on my last night, and seeing all the locals celebrate like crazy. You would be daft to stay anywhere else.

Eccezionale! Per noi che venivamo da esperienze non proprio esaltanti è stato rigenerante. Personale gentile ed efficiente, ci hanno prenotato la speedboat per la Cambogia. Per noi ha un rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. A 2 minuti a piedi dall' imbarco. Lo consigliamo a chi deve prendere la barca alle 7 del mattino.

Wonderful experience

Voor ons was dit een stop voordat we de boot naar Cambodja pakten. Het is prima, maar niet bijzonder. Onze taxichauffeur bleek ook receptiemedewerker en checkte ons in.

Het koffiebarretje in de lobby hebben wij geen een keer open gezien. Ik zou iets warmer licht in de kamer prettiger vinden dat het witte licht dat wij nu hebben gehad.

Un excellent rapport qualité prix. Grande chambre, et climatisation vraiment silencieuse en position ventilation minimum. Lit confortable. De quoi poser les affaires, et emplacement proche du centre ( ou disons du meilleur quartier).

Il y avait des travaux, mais pas vraiment génants. Le petit déjeuner doit être commandé la veille et n'est pas un buffet, mais il est très bien, et servi rapidement.

Nous n'avons pas pris le petit-déjeuner car nous partions très tôt le lendemain matin

Mostly used by people who plan to take the ferry from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh, the location is very convenient as you can walk from the hotel in 5 minutes to the ferry dock. However, they also have excellent excursions on offer in the region.

They are extending the hotel by covering the roof terrace, but that gives quite some noise at daytime. They do offer some sort of breakfast, but by the time we stayed there, this was still not well organized.

Emplacement

Stayed at Paris Hotel Châu Đốc mainly for its convenient location after arriving by boat from Cambodia and before starting a Mekong bike ride. The location is definitely the main advantage—very handy and practical for transit stays. However, the rooms are quite basic, and the overall facilities are fairly minimal as well. It’s fine for a short stopover if you just need somewhere to sleep in a good location, but don’t expect much in terms of comfort or amenities.

Hôtel en plein centre ville et à proximité de tout. Chambre spacieuse et propre. Le personnel est adorable, ils nous ont aidé à organiser un tour à la forêt de Tra Su à moindre prix.

Chambre bien située, propre, petit déjeuner sympa (on a compris qu'il était inclus... erreur !)

Petit déjeuner un peu cher (2/3 du prix de la chambre pour 2 personnes) surtout dernier jour où on a eu un panier. Éviter de prendre les sorties avec l'hôtel... louer un taxi, c'est moins cher !

We only stayed one night and didn’t have breakfast (we did grab a takeaway coffee before we left for the ferry at 6.30am) but we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. The lady at the front desk spoke excellent English and was really helpful with recommendations and directions, the shower was the best we have had during our 1 month stay in Vietnam and the bed and pillows so comfy!

Centrally located for the early ferry to Cambodia. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, ATMs and the market. Staff were friendly. The room was a good size and comfortable, a good shower. They offered us an early breakfast as we were catching the ferry or a takeaway breakfast. We had breakfast at 6am and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality. Fresh bread, eggs, fruit, yogurts and good coffee, sausages and bacon were on offer too .

It was a bit noisy at times, guests coming onto the large landings late at night were noisy. The landings were tiled, so there wasn't any sound insulation.

A very decent hotel, excellent value for money! The best thing about this place is their hospitality and helpfulness. They organized our entire transfer to Cambodia: taxi-bus-taxi to the border, and a car was waiting for us on the Cambodian side of the border to take us right to our hotel in Kampot!

Location was good and staff were attentive

It was not queit. It was a corner room with 4 external AC units on the outside wall. They constantly made a noise all night. Also there was a man on the landing eating and drinking and talking loudly on the phone. I had to ask him to be quiet. I could not understand why he was on the landing

Struttura pulita e accogliente, camera confortevole e posizione ottima a un paio di minuti a piedi dall'imbarco sul fiume per la Cambogia. Staff molto gentile. Consigliato.

Very helpful staff. Very good English spoken. Organised a car for us to go to Sam Mountain and the Tra Su forest.

L’hôtel est très propre et la literie très confortable. Il est situé à 3mn du quai d’embarquement pour prendre le bateau. Nous avions une chambre standard avec une petite fenêtre. C’était confortable.

La 1ere nuit a été extrêmement bruyante. Jusqu’à 3h du matin des gens chantaient dans l’établissement, la montée d’escaliers faisant caisse de résonance. Ils s’interpellaient dans le couloir devant notre chambre comme en plein jour. Il n’y a aucune réaction du staff de l’hôtel. Nous l’avons signalé le lendemain matin, ils en étaient désolés et ont dit que le gardien n’avait pas entendu !!!! Ils ont dû embaucher un malentendant !

Batiment avec de bonnes finitions

Je n’ai passé qu’une nuit. Il y a eu du bruit dans l’hotel par des ado dans les chambre le soir et le matin. Probleme plus lié aux circonstances qu’a l’hotel.

Direkt in der Stadt, kurze Wege zum Bootsanleger, zu Restaurants und dem Markt. Das Personal am Check-in war sehr hilfreich, hat uns kurzfristig eine Bootsfahrt zu den schwimmenden Märkten organisiert und auch einen Transfer zum Busbahnhof.

Für eine Nacht völlig ok, für länger ist das Zimmer nicht so gemütlich.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exciting. They called bus companies, arranged a private transfer, got us an easy to drive scooter, arranged a breakfast late in the morning. The room was spotless, everything was perfect.

Close to the pier for the boat from/to Cambodia.

The reception when we arrived was not welcoming at all, all the man said was "passports". We were handed our keycard and on our own. Rooms are very noisy, you hear everything from the big hallways with tiled floors. At 6:30 guests are leaving for the boat and immediately after housekeeping starts cleaning. Not very clever if you still have guests on that floor. The price is too high for Vietnamese standards.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was very close to the jetty for the speedboat to Phnom Penh

An der Rezeption sprach man überraschenderweise Deutsch. Die junge Frau war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie organisierte unsere Weiterreise nach Saigon. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

everything about Paris Hotel is like. The Room was very spacious, well lit and lovely. The staffs were very very helpful and understood our needs in seconds. They were always there to help us with the luggage even when not needed

Wish the property had a proper kitchen to serve dinners Chau Doc area doesn't have much food joint options except a Jolly Bee and Victoria Hotel, which is expensive.

Pas très bien insonorisé eet pas de chance il y avait des travaux sur les étages supérieurs. Le petit déjeuné un peu cher pour le contenu.

What a great hotel just a 10 minute walk from the Victoria Hotel dock where our boat from Phnom Penh arrived. Really smooth check-in process and great recommendations on where to eat near by as our arrival was 60 minutes late. We were allocated a room on the 2nd floor which we thought might be a little noisy but the soundproofing was excellent. We slept exceptionally well and woke to the gentle sound of music outside. On looking out of the window a group of pensioners were doing t’ai chi across the road. The room was spacious with a large bathroom with a walk in shower. There was a large, firm but comfortable bed with lovely semi firm pillows which guaranteed a great nights sleep. Being lazy we took breakfast in the hotel. Although not an extensive menu, we did have loads to eat including baguettes, bacon, sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt and a choice of freshly squeezed juice, tea or coffee. A thank you to the most helpful young man on reception (sorry I didn’t get your name) and a big message of thanks to Vy from the restaurant who not only prepared our breakfast, but she arranged our transfer to the FUTA Bus Station. Her English is excellent (learnt from TV and western music & being fellow Queen fans we could have chatted for hours) All in all a great hotel, conveniently located for the speedboat between Cambodia and Vietnam.

L’accueil, la gentillesse du personnel et leur aide quant au choix d’une excursion qu’ils proposent, la qualité de la literie, exceptionnelle! Je recommande l’excursion à la forêt de Tra Su, tôt le matin, avant l’arrivée des touristes.

L'accueil est tellement adorable qu'on se sent en famille dans ce petit hôtel parfaitement bien tenu. Il est placé idéalement au centre de Chau Doc. Le ferry pour Phnom Penh est à 3 mn à pied. Il y a également devant l'hôtel un supermarché où on trouve de tout. Très bon streetfood en sortant de l'hôtel, les tables sont sur le trottoir. Excellent salon de massage également en face de l'hôtel. On recommande le bar du Victoria Chau Doc avec vue sur le Mékong pour voir le coucher de soleil, c'est aussi à 3mn à pied. Nous avons fait 2 excursions organisées par l'hôtel et tout était parfait. La forêt de Tra Su est magnifique. Pour finir un excellent rapport qualité-prix, une chambre impeccable, très claire et spacieuse. Service de blanchisserie parfait. Merci encore à toute l'équipe, nous avons adoré notre séjour.

We stayed in Vietnam for 30 days and this was one of our favs. The staff are awesome, great to talk with and a great help. We even gave them a hug when leaving. Would definitely stay there again. The rooms where very large and very clean.

Location was easy to get to from boat. Staff was incredible and helped correct a wrong travel reservation that I had made. AC worked great and we had no issues.

Rempli sa fonction première : passer une nuit dans une chambre propre, calme et bon marché. Personnel agréable et serviable.

Hôtel sans véritable charme. Ne pas s'attendre à autre chose que passer une nuit pour se reposer d’une excursion ou visite dans les environs. Une seule formule proposée de petit déjeuner, plutôt de type occidental, assez copieux pour environ 5 euros mais pris dans le hall d'accueil ou sont entreposés des vélos et scooter. L’eau était à peine tiède le matin pour se doucher (elle était en revanche chaude la veille au soir).

Location is brilliant, the beds are SO comfortable, the staff is very helpful whether it is to organise scooter rental, excursion or transportation. Very clean, bright and airy. We had booked 3 nights and extended our stay. Overall fantastic money-quality ratio.
