room was spotless and beds very comfortable, complimentary prosecco and bottled water in room, tea and freshly baked scones and pastries in morning, despite only staying on a room only basis. Also the owner was kind enough to run us into town, rather than us booking a taxi.

​The Blue Door B&B ​From the moment we arrived, David made us feel completely at home. His warm welcome and genuine hospitality set the tone for a fantastic stay. ​He truly went above and beyond—even giving us a lift into Letterkenny on both days, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. After a restful stay, the breakfast on Sunday morning with lovely hot tea, toast, and delicious croissants and scones was just wonderful. ​If you're visiting Letterkenny, we can't recommend The Blue Door B&B enough. David is a fantastic host, and we’ll definitely be back again!

Potrei stare a scrivere tutto il giorno su quello che mi è piaciuto di questo posto. Partirei sicuramente dalla gentilezza dell’host nell’accogliermi con un caffè e dei dolci, della spaziosità delle camere, oltre che a quelle comuni anche la propria stanza privata che aveva tutto il necessario per un gradevole pernottamento. I consigli preziosissimi su dove andare a mangiare, cosa visitare nelle zone limitrofe mi hanno aiutato a programmare e migliorare il mio viaggio visitando posti che non avrei mai pensato di vedere. Un altro punto a favore di questa struttura è sicuramente la posizione in un luogo molto tranquillo, silenzioso e infine la qualità dei prodotti offerti, tutti curati nel minimo dei dettagli poiché la maggior parte erano locali come il latte, le birre ma anche pezzi di arredamento delle camere

The Blue Door est un lieu magique. Tout d’abord, la maison est magnifique, les chambres, chacune avec salle de bain, sont décorées avec soin. Notre hôte nous a accueilli avec un petit goûter. Verre de bienvenue dans les chambres…

David was so accommodating and kind. He made us feel so welcome and at home. The house itself is beautiful and is well located. Between the house and the service, this B&B is of a higher quality than most standard hotels!

David is a very friendly host and the room is beautifully bright. On arrival, we were treated to some freshly baked scones. There were also delicious croissants for breakfast. We hadn’t expected any of that at all. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend booking this cosy B&B to anyone.

We would have liked there to have been a bit more space for facilities.

Owner was so kind and friendly.The views were outstanding,wanted to move in.The decoration was so lovely,also toiletries were a lovely touch in room and room spray.I would give this BB 10/10.

David and Emma have a wonderful home, and could not have been better hosts. We were given tea and fresh baked goods when we arrived, and breakfast the following morning was the best we had during our two week vacation in Ireland. The location of The Blue Door B&B is ideal, being outside of the center of the city but still close enough. The view from the home is quintessential Ireland...just beautiful. Our room was superbly decorated and exceptionally clean. David also went out of his way recommending places to visit in County Donegal, and a restaurant to eat at, and even checked on times to attend church.

Un recibimiento cálido y amable, nos ofrecieron té y scones y nos ayudaron a reservar un lugar para cenar. Las habitaciones eran grandes, cómodas y limpias y tenían todos los detalles super cuidadados. El enclave de la casa es precioso y tranquilo. Sin duda nuestro mejor alojamiento en Irlanda,

Lo único que se podría decir es que no tiene acceso que no sea mediante coche, aunque para nosotros no fue un problema ya que teníamos un vehículo alquilado.

Impeccably clean, cosy and comfortable. Lovely host David who was incredibly accommodating - even laying out coffee and scones for us in the morning! Exceptional value for money. Would highly recommend staying here and will stay here again if visiting letterkenny.

Our experience at the Blue Door BnB was truly exceptional. The host, David, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious and modern, with a thoughtful touch in the motion sensor-based passage lights, and maintained a pleasant temperature. The bed was also impressively large. The next morning, David surprised us with a delightful complimentary breakfast spread, complete with freshly baked bread, butter, and jam.The house itself was a stunning property, with a grand interior design that added to the overall charm of our stay. We would highly recommend the Blue Door BnB to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

The area is absolutely stunning and they are so kind. Would highly recommend.

There was nothing I didn’t like about it, the only comment I would have is the Wi-Fi is a bit slow but in fairness the weather was very bad aswell.
