Clanree Hotel & Leisure Centre

Ideal location for my event, five minutes down the road. Staff were friendly

The layout of the bar and dining facilities were a little awkward for me as a wheelchair user, but I'd still happily recommend the hotel

Good value, comfortable room, bar food was fine and the bar was busy enough for a Tuesday night so there was a good atmosphere. Plenty of parking.

Not a very picturesque setting on the outskirts of town, but it was fine for us.

Breakfast first class, room was good size but very warm and uncomfortable for sleeping. Food was great and service very quick

The bedroom was too hot and not great for a good nightz sleep.

Nice hotel, good sized rooms, good breakfast

We arrived when exceptionally hot and no air con was a problem we were giving a small fan but it honestly made no difference.. There is also no fridge in the room.

Traffic outside the hotel is very slow moving. Please lobby your local council for better traffic management

Friendly staff. Clean and well presented. Bar area was vibrant and lively. Breakfast was excellent

The rooms are great - clean and well prepared. Perhaps a bit of a spruce up tho. Just things that happen over time.There were a couple of loose bits (overflow cap in bath had dislodged and carpet rail had worked loose in the room) but certainly nothing worth putting you off a stay. We will definitely use this hotel again and recommend it.

Gym and pool are run down.. tv sound quality poor and might need replacing.. fan noise in toilet even with lights off and switches..

Air conditioning not working. When we opened the window terrible smell of burning timber and someone using a drill before we even got up.

Some of the younger staff interacted like "Human Robots" whereas the older staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a big issue but something to be aware of.

Very outdated bedrooms. As we stayed in a family room the main window opened out at bottom wide so hazardous when kids are in room. The room was too hot all night and very uncomfortable to sleep in.

The restaurant food left a lot to be desired . Fish of the day was seafood pasta!!. 80%salmon with shrimps & bits of some white fish. Why not call it what it was - seafood pasta?. Tasted completely bland as well

Excellent experience! I stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied with my experience. The property is welcoming, clean, and well organized. The room was comfortable and well maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. A special mention goes to the staff, who were always friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was also very good, with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a really positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

The rooms where not sound proofed so you could here everything noise the guests in the rooms above and beside you and anyone in the hallway that was talking felt like that where standing next to you not a 4 star hotel by any standards disappointed to say the least

I was unaware of the Bank holiday and that the hours for the leisure centre were different. Reception had told me the normal time for opening the previous evening when it opened an hour later instead and when I asked where to find the leisure centre in the morning, they didn't tell me that it wouldn't be open for another hour, just gave me directions.

It was one of the most comfortable hotel beds i ever slept in,room,shower and hotel was excellent in general

The room had mould on the ceiling and managment dodnt seem interest when calling it out to them .very poor customer service from the manager at reception .
