Nesan’s villa

Tuve una súper experiencia en este alojamiento, especialmente gracias a la increíble atención de Rathika! La habitación básica pero cómoda cumple completamente su función: tiene aire acondicionado, es amplia y estaba bastante limpia. La cama era súper cómoda y tenía un armario y todo lo necesario para instalarte durante unos días! Pero Rathika es, sin duda, el corazón del alojamiento y durante mi estancia se encargó de que no me faltara absolutamente nada. Está tremendamente pendiente de sus huéspedes —quizá incluso un poquito demasiado para alguien como yo, que a veces necesita bastante su espacio 😅—, pero siempre desde la amabilidad y con la mejor de las intenciones. Me ofrecía agua, se preocupaba por que cenara, aprovechaba sus recados al supermercado para preguntarme si necesitaba algo y, para rematar, acabó comprándome una taza especialmente para mí para que pudiera tomar el café como en casa También quiero mencionar a Nesan, su marido. Por nuestras agendas no coincidimos demasiado, pero siempre fue súper amable y agradable conmigo y también estuvo muy pendiente de las cenas y de que estuviera a gusto Además, todas las habitaciones están distribuidas alrededor de un precioso jardín y, en el caso de la mía, tenía una pequeña terracita con un sofá, una mesa y un par de sillones, perfecta para relajarte al final de la jornada Por otro lado, tienen un bungalow que pude conocer por dentro y que tiene muy buena pinta. Rathika y Nesan tienen además planes de ampliar el alojamiento con dos habitaciones más para el año que viene, así que les deseo todo lo mejor porque seguro que va a ser un éxito Mil gracias por la atención, el cuidado y la experiencia. Ojalá pueda volver pronto, esta vez de vacaciones 🙏

We stayed here for two nights. The room was spacious and very clean. If you‘re looking for a comfy and clean stay, away from the crowds, this is your place. You‘re surrounded by beautiful nature and a lush green garden. Within short tuk tuk-drives you can reach every major side and the most stunning beaches. But what makes this place so special is it‘s hosts. Nesan and Rathi are the most loving, caring and friendly people. They cooked the most delicious veg meals for us and were always down for a chat. They made this stay feel very special. When you‘re in the area, you shouldn‘t miss out on that one.

Rathi war einfach toll. Begrüßt wurden wir mit einem Drink, wir haben zahlreiche Infos zur Region erhalten. Die Gastgeberin war ständig erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Einmal Haben wir dort gefrühstückt, einmal Haben wir den sehr leckeren, fangfrischen Fisch zu Abend gegessen, den ihr Mann mit ihr gemeinsam zubereitet hat. Auch die Wäsche wurde uns gewaschen. Danke dafür! Das Chalet ist brandneu und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, ebenso wie der wunderschöne Garten, in dem man zahlreiche Sitzgelegenheiten hat. Absolut empfehlenswert! Aber: Man braucht ein TukTuk, Moped oder den Bus, um in die Stadt zu kommen. Das ist allerdings unkompliziert und Rathi hilft sofort.

The host was amazing. Radhi went out of her way to make us feel comfortable even to the extent of helping us dry our clothes that she washed. She organized us tuk tuks for all our outings with suggestions on where to visit with appropriate t8mes to visit She and her husband prepared dinner for us on our last night there. It was an absolutely delicious and very filling meal made with care. I will definitely recommend to friends and famiky

There is no geyser so it wasn't a hot shower. However this does not really matter there because it is so hot the water is warm anyway

Wonderful place! The host (Rathika) is really kind and welcoming, creating a warm base for guests to explore Trincomalee. She cooked us amazing meals, helped us to get bicycles and a scooter, she had an adapter for us. This hospitality made the guests comfortable, thanks to which it was easy to connect with other people staying at the accommodation. The chalet is great! The main room is a beautiful and spacious bedroom with a huge bed. There are comfy chairs you can also take out to the front of the chalet to sit in the garden. Inside there's also a little kitchen and your own bathroom. Everything is clean and neat. The greenery behind the windows creaties a nice natural feeling. Totally recommend it.

Such a lovely place. Rathika, the host, really makes the stay special. The room was neat, but her hospitality and helpfulness is what makes you feel at home. She is helpful and kind, cooked wonderful food for us a few times and arranged things we asked for, like bicycles, a scooter, an adapter. Her presence makes guests feel comfortable, which creates a homely feeling and an openness to connect.

If you can ride a scooter it doesn't matter, but the place is not at the beach. If you want to walk to the beach then this is not possible at this accommodation.

Our stay at this villa was absolutely wonderful! The villa is beautifully designed, spacious, and spotlessly clean, creating the perfect place to relax. The kitchen is modern, fully equipped, and very well maintained, making it easy to prepare meals comfortably. The washroom is equally impressive—large, sparkling clean, and fitted with quality amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and the attention to detail really stood out. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable stay. We would definitely love to come back!

I loved my stay here. The property is calm and beautiful, surrounded by a lush green garden, with palm trees all around. The room was exquisite and spacious, with excellent air conditioning and fast, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants easy access to the beach or town while still being able to retreat to a quiet and peaceful spot afterward. Nothing is far away, which makes the location especially convenient.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einer ganz tollen Gastgeberin. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls hervorragend.

Un endroit calme, familial, chambre très comfortable et on mange bien , un accueil très chaleureux

On a trouvé le lieu un peu cher à la fin, vu aussi qu’il faut tjs prendre des Tuk Tuk, mais les quantités très généreuses et la qualité aussi

Veldig hyggelig personale. Hjelper oss ordne videre transport. Lager en god tradisjonell frokost hvor vertinnen presenterer maten. Får mye for pengene. Veldig god standard på seng, uteområde, bad og andre fasiliteter.

El servei ha sigut encantador i molt proper durant en tot moment. El sopar molt bo i gustos! Estàs a 5-10 minuts en cotxe o tuktuk de la platja on hi ha tot l'ambient

Teníem una finestra a L'habitació però les vistes no eren gaire maques i no entrava llum de l'exterior. Les finestres eren totes de fusta.

Die Inhaber sind zuckersüß!! Sie haben es uns an nichts fehlen lassen, uns in jeder Frage unterstützt und auch bei Aktivitäten geholfen. Das Highlight: Wir wurden vom Inhaber höchstpersönlich bekocht. So leckeres Essen hatten wir vorher nirgendwo gegessen. Die Unterkunft mag zwar etwas abgelegen liegen, allerdings war die Ruhe genau das was wir wollten! Wer also Leckeres Essen, Ruhe, saubere Räumlichkeiten und nette Gastgeber sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Wieder abreisen zu müssen.

Ruime kamer, iets buiten Trincomalee, maar met de tuktuk snel en makkelijk te bereiken. De eigenares is goed bereikbaar en helpt je graag met al je vragen. Ze regelde voor ons een boottocht om dolfijnen te spotten en kan ook heel goed koken, dus eet zeker eens ter plekke. De vader spreekt geen Engels, maar doet zijn best om je te helpen en is een heel lieve man. De moeder houdt het liever wat serieuzer en deelt haar glimlach spaarzaam uit — een heel bijzonder talent.

Sehr gemütliches Guesthouse etwas ausserhalb von Trincomalee. Mit Tuktuk oder Roller ist man aber innhalb von 5 Minuten in Trinco. Die Hosts waren super nett und zuvorkommend. Zudem gaben sie uns viele tolle Tipps. Danke dafür! :) Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Bon rapport qualité/prix pour Trincomalay. Literie confortable et climatisation. Bel espace extérieur sur la terrasse et grand jardin. Une cuisine et un frigo commun si besoin. Les gens très attentionnés et disponibles pour aider et donner de bons conseils.

Emplacement à mi-chemin entre Uppuveli et Nilaveli, rien d’accessible à pied immédiatement. Mais les hôtes arrangent très facilement les trajets en tuktuk si besoin. La chambre un peu étroite à 4.

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage bei Rathi. Sie ist eine sehr herzliche und freundliche Person, hat stets für unser Wohlbefinden gesorgt und ein großes Herz für Kinder. Sie stand immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und konnte uns gute Tips für die Umgebung geben. Das Essen war immer reichlich und sie gab uns verschiedene Kostproben der nationalen Küche. Wir empfehlen sie gerne weiter!

Our stay at Nesan's villa was exceptional. Radi, the hostess, made sure to make our stay in Trincomalee a memorable one. The hospitality was unmatched; her and her husband cooked us a lovely dinner and a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Would highly recommend!

L'hôtel est très gentille, aux petits soins. L'environnement est cosy, et vraiment tranquille. Il y a un frigo où on peut y stocker nos boissons, ainsi qu'une cuisine si on veut cuisiner ou juste déguster un fruit acheté sur la route ☺️.

Loved the family, the accommodation and the food! The host mom also helped us getting cheaper tuk tuks and renting her bike.

Great little spot just out of town but plenty buses on main road. Very hard working family host, truly friendly. A cute typical sri lanka dog at the property, bikes for hire. Good little kitchen very handy. All nice clean bathroom. Quite close to Allees where all the good tourist restaurants are.

Slightly far from town, 1000 tuktuk from bus station, but not a problem really.

The welcome was great, they are a very kind couple. Rathi helped me to learn some Tamil while her husband organised a delicious fish for supper. One of the best dinners of the year! The beds were long enough for my tall husband, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was well-prepared too, and it's a shame we couldn't stay long this time. I wish them all the best with their business, they are very hospitable.

Nesan’s Villa I recently had a fantastic stay at Nesan’s Villa, an independent home that felt like a true haven. The villa comes equipped with a kitchen and a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays or families. Managed by a beautiful family, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. One of the highlights of our trip was the dolphin watching and snorkeling experience with Rishant. He provided an amazing experience that was both safe and enjoyable. The villa's location is ideal for such activities, and the pricing is incredibly reasonable. The rooms were clean and hygienic, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. I highly recommend Nesan’s Villa for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!!

We loved the stay, the hospitality was so kind and the food was amazing!

Nesan’s villa is the perfect place to relax!!! It had everything we needed, and the owners did their best to make sure we feel comfortable, really! The bed is super soft, the a/c is new and works very well, you can rent a motorbike, and the kitchen has every cooking tool you can think about. One night the owners came to make us dinner, the Sri Lanka style, and it was delicious!!! You should try! The thing that we enjoyed the most is the owner’s company, they are truly special people and a great chat partners. I warmly recommend this place❤️

Every thing was perfect.

We loved our stay here! The location was very handy to explore the area. The family has provided us with a bike so that we could easily move around. Also, they are amazing cooks, we tried their breakfast and it was truly delicious! Amazing people, we can't recommend this place enough!

The villa is from a very friendly couple who, if you need it, will come and help you in any way they can. 100% RECOMMENDED. We only stayed three days but we would repeat, its not far away the center by motorcycle or tuk tuk and you have everything you need for cooking and it is a beautiful garden. The last day they offered us and approached us the railway station ❤️

This place is just awesome. Location is very good, 5 minutes to Uppuveli beach and 10 minutes to Nilaveli beach. Hospitality of the owners is amazing, they will help you with everything you need. They can also prepare for you grill or basically anything you want. Room has comfortable bed, with AC and ceiling fan, private bathroom. Best thing here is the small kitchen where you can cook fresh food from local ingredients. Just 2 minutes on a motorbike from here in a direction to Trincomale by the road is very small fish market. If you go early in the morning you will find here fish and sea food as fresh as you get. In another 2 minutes there are a lot of grocery shops, vegetables, fruits, coconuts etc. We stayed here for one week and it was one of the best accommodation on Sri Lanka. Highly recommended.
