Die Inhaber waren absolut freundlich, hilfsbereit ind jeder Zeit ansprechbar. Sie haben für uns viele Dinge organisiert, die unseren Aufenthalt sehr entspannt haben. Es war ein toller Start in unsere Reise in Sri Lanka!

Everything was great ! Kansun and his family are such good hosts. They are very welcoming and open to share their best recommendations. The place is located in a quiet area, perfect to relax. The swimming pool was the perfect extra pleasure to enjoy ourselves during the evening. I would love to return!

Ha estat una estada fantàstica al Bungalow Resort on ens han allotjat el Kasun i la seva família. Els nens s'enrecorden molt dels moments que van compartir jugant amb la filla. És un allotjament molt recomanable, té una piscina molt tranquil·la i agradable, els espais amb taules i cadires a prop de l'habitació permeten poder dinar o sopar tranquil·lament també, el Kasun ens va oferir demanar-nos menjar per portar i va resultar realment pràctic. A més vam poder organitzar amb ells un safari a veure els elefants seguit d'una tarda de kayak tot veient la posta de sol, i després ens va venir a buscar ell mateix. També ens va recomanar un spot des d'on veure la posta de sol l'endemà que va ser fantàstic, ens va captivar. L'allotjament és molt pràctic per anar a visitar la Lion rock i la Pidurangala rock (la recomanem!). L'únic que ens va quedar pendent va ser poder fer una classe de cuina a la zona, si mai podem tornar a visitar Sri Lanka, de ben segur que repetiríem allotjament! La nostra estada a Sigiriya amb ells va ser una de les millors etapes del viatge gràcies a ells! Recomano molt l'estada en aquest lloc!

Experiencia insuperable. El sitio es precioso, al lado de un lago y a 10 minutos andando del pueblo. Kasum y su familiar espectaculares, siempre atentos a lo que necesitabamos, dándonos toda la información y consejos necesarios. Gente súper generosa y amable. Contratamos con ellos un safary y nos aconsejaron super bien y el precio muy asequible.

Ci è piaciuto tutto e i bambini non volevano partire! Camera spaziosa, letti comodi, bagno ok. Spazio esterno molto accogliente con tavolo e sedie dove fare colazione e cenare. Colazione compresa molto buona e possibilità di ordinare la cena che ti viene consegnata direttamente fuori dalla stanza. Kasun, il proprietario, è gentilissimo e insieme al cugino gestiscono la struttura. Piscina bella grande ed incredibilmente piacevole fare un bel tuffo al fresco quando fuori fa caldo, circondati dalla rigogliosa vegetazione. C’è un tavolo da ping pong e una sala relax con dei libri da leggere a disposizione. In 10 minuti di macchina si è all’accesso al Lion’s Rock. Sarebbe davvero bello poter tornare un giorno! Speriamo!

Nos gustó muchísimo la atención y la amabilidad de todos los que trabajaban en ella, sobretodo del dueño que nos ha facilitado no solo la estancia en sigiriya sino en todo nuestro viaje, proporcionándonos recursos y contactos. Inmejorables primeros días en el país.

We stayed at the Bungalow Resort for 2 nights on our trip through Sri Lanka and it was an excellent choice. Kasun and his family ensured we had everything we needed; they did some laundry for us, ordered us some delicious food for dinner and generally couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and we had fun relaxing by the pool.

Excellent hôtel pour découvrir Siguiryia très bien situé a proximité d'un beau lac. La piscine est agréable et le propriétaire du logement à l'écoute et très réactif. Nous recommandons ce logement, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Estaba limpio, la piscina y sobretodo los chicos que llevaban el hotel majisimos simpaticos y muy atentos. Calidad precio muy buena.

Las instalaciones no son muy nuevas y habría cosas que mejorar, por ejemplo el baño no estaba dentro de la habitación.

O hotel é excelente, com uma piscina enorme e bem localizado, para além disso o Kasun é uma excelente pessoa, super prestável e simpática e fez tudo o que podia para nos proporcionar a melhor experiência possível. O pequeno almoço também é excelente e o resto das refeições o Kasun dispõe-se a ir buscar aos restaurantes mais próximos

Kasun was a genuinely wonderful and caring host. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and safe. We felt so comfortable here, just like we were home among friends. The room was very ́large and our family loved swimming in the pool and relaxing in different spots on the property. Can't say enough about the comforting and welcoming vibe!

Gastvrij ontvangen en de 2 neven doen hun uiterste best om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Geregeld werd er gevraagd of alles naar wens. Een ontspannen verblijf met een heerlijk zwembad en een mooie plek.

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Heel betrokken en gastvrij. Enorm grote kamer, fijn zwembad. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Centrum is prima te belopen. Het lijkt allemaal verder dan het daadwerkelijk is. En ander doet de tuktuk er 5 min over.

Een bijzondere accommodatie die heel mooi tussen de rijstvelden is gelegen en bijna uitzicht biedt op de Leeuwenrots. Een mooie uitvalsbasis om Sigirya en omstreken te verkennen. Personeel is buitengewoon vriendelijk en bereid te helpen of te informeren over mogelijkheden wat te doen en hoe er naar toe te reizen!

De kamers zijn basic qua aankleding en ook de badkamers zijn basaal qua voorzieningen en zeker geen luxe. De faciliteiten waaronder het zwembad zijn wel aan enig onderhoud toe. De omgeving en ligging compenseren hierin…

L’accueil de Kasun était vraiment exceptionnel! Serial, disponible et tellement aimable . Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour en profitant des visites proposées et organisées par Kasun .

La chambre pourrait être un peu plus propre, il y a de nombreuses toiles d’araignées, et de bêtes sur les moustiquaires, ainsi que le linge de lit.

L'établissement est tenu par deux frères qui feront tout pour que vous soyez bien. Ils sont d'une gentillesse incroyable. On a adoré ce logement pour arriver au Sri Lanka. Ils proposent un service repas, machines pour le linge. Ils ont fabriqué des cannes à pêche pour que mon fils aille pêcher au lac. Nous avons apprécié la piscine après des chaudes journées. C'était vraiment bien !

Prachtige locatie aan meer en rijstvelden, goede kamers, leuk zwembad, zowel voor ons als de kinderen heerlijke plek. De eigenaar en zijn neef waren zo hulpvaardig en begaan, echt fantastisch!

Fantástica estancia entre los arrozales de Sigiriya! El hotel está ubicado a solo 5 minutos de la calle principal de Sigiriya y muy cerca de la Roca de Sigiriya. El entorno es precioso y muy tranquilo, rodeado de arrozales y a pocos pasos del lago. La habitación era amplia, muy limpia y la cama contaba con mosquitera, lo que se agradece mucho. La piscina es muy agradable, perfecta para refrescarse después de un día de excursiones. El desayuno estaba delicioso y se adaptan al horario que necesites para prepararlo. Además, el dueño es una persona encantadora: muy amable, servicial y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Nos consiguió una moto de alquiler y nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitamos durante nuestra estancia. Sin duda, recomendamos este alojamiento. ¡Le deseamos todo lo mejor y esperamos volver algún día!

Brothers Kasun and Pathu at Bungalow Resort were amazing hosts and extremely helpful with suggestions and organisation. They order food in from a nearby restaurant Nirwana, also run by the family and delivered at no extra cost. The food was so good and flavoursome that we chose to eat in several times. The one time we ate elsewhere reminded us how good the Nirwana food was. They were helpful in organising excursions without any pressure. Room and bathroom were great, beds with mosquito net comfortable, aircon effective, and pool was great. Also a lovely location beside a lake for birdwatching or walking. A top place indeed.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum! Wir haben dort 3 Nächte mit 4 Personen (darunter 2 Kinder) verbracht und waren wunschlos glücklich. Die Betten inklusive Moskitonetz waren herrlich bequem und der Pool immer blitzsauber. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen – es gab alles, was das Herz begehrt, und der Host ging sogar auf individuelle Extrawünsche ein.Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich und organisierte uns problemlos Taxis, Ausflüge und eine Safari zu einem tollen Preis. Auch der Wäscheservice und der Lieferservice für Mittag- und Abendessen funktionierten einwandfrei. Die Lage ist perfekt: ruhig direkt am See und nur etwa 900 Meter von Restaurants und Shops entfernt. Der wunderschöne Garten gleicht einem kleinen Paradies mit vielen Obstbäumen und wilden Tieren wie Pfauen, Waranen und besonderen Vögeln. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

A great place to stay, a very lovely family that was super accommodating and very friendly, to make the stay a real great experience. A nice location next to a lake where you swim. And the host family got up and made us packed breakfast for a 5.30 am departure for a safari.

Dit is een TOP homestay! De eigenaar Kasun en zijn broer Pathum zijn GEWELDIG! Ze zijn zo ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geen vraag is hen te veel. Het ontbijt was lekker, mooie ruime kamer en verfrissend zwembad. Fantastische locatie ook. Op enkele minuten rijden van de leeuwenrots en vele restaurants.

Alojamiento perfecto para quedarte en Sigiriya. La habitación era muy amplia y tenía todo lo necesario, incluido aire acondicionado y mosquitera. Además cuenta con una piscina estupenda que nos vino muy bien para el calor que hacía. Pero sobre todo queremos destacar la amabilidad de los anfitriones, que nos trataron de 10 y estuvieron todo el rato preocupados por que estuviésemos lo mejor posible.

The street road not good, walking at night not advisable because street too dark, its little inside from main road 500 meters, day time ok to walk but night time not advisable

Zeer goede gastheer. we waren er op een feestdag waardoor de meeste restaurants dicht waren, werd ik door gastheer op de scooter naar een restaurant gebracht die wel open was om eten te kunnen bestellen. Gastheer deed er alles aan om het naar onze zin te maken. Mooie plek, in de natuur, tussen de rijstvelden en een meer.

Niets, was wel iets hobbelige weg om er te komen.

It was so difficult to reach the place as it is complicated in the map, as well as it is so far from the main road. Not the exact pictures shown in the booking.com, we found horribly bad when we enter as it was not the same. Since it was night we spent over there. As well as even after we reserve the room, they ask at what time we are coming and they had to go for some repairs, meant their room was not ready. Actually we reserved at last minute and still it was pending, then we had to have our dinner until the room got ready and even the bathroom was smelly when we enter. And specially, BE CAREFUL as they charge extra 18% VAT even though they do not pay it to the government, this owner even does not know anything. We assume that he was pretending that he does not know. Because he said Booking.com is charging them 18% and they repay to the Sri Lanka government. But I know personally, booking.conm never charge except their room commission which they agree with us. And the other thing, he is not ready to offer you a bill. Since we know that we do not want to pay VAT for the booking.com, we questioned why are you charging VAT from us. He was totally disagree and he refused to give the bill as well as he was confirming, booking.com still charge from him. The thing is service charge and VAT portion still you can edit from your property side and there is nothing to do with booking.com Therefore, be careful they are charging extra money from you all showing up different kinds of things. Even for just black coffee he charged Rs.400 And bathroom does not have pressure pump and water comes very slowly. And the mosquito nets are very dirty.

Wonderful caring people made our stay so great, helped arrange our collection from the train station, arranged late dinner, transport to sites and information about local viewpoints and safety with elephants in the region. Amazing breakfast and even helped us get some medicine we needed!

L’accueil de Kansun et sa famille étais incroyable. Ils nous ont super bien conseillés sur les activités et les lieux aux alentours as des prix défiants toute concurrence. L’établissement est super, la piscine est un vrai plus et les petits déjeuners sont merveilleux. On as même eu droit à une visite avec lui et son frère avec les explications de chaque plantes, dégustation de fruits, épices de son jardin. Il nous as même conseillé sur le reste de notre aventure, en nous indiquant des lieux peu connus et en restant en contact avec nous même à distance afin de continuer à nous aiguiller. Loved the location further out of town and it was excellent for accessing Lion’s Rock. The owner bent over backwards to help us out with whatever we needed.

Super nice and helpful hosts. Beautiful nature and wildlife around. The breakfasts were really good. The hosts helped us find a taxi at a good price to go to the airport at the end of our stay. They provided help for other services (recommendations for nice viewpoints, safaris, massages, etc.) in the beginning and they are not pushy at all about it. We would most certainly come back here if we were to visit Sri Lanka again and we would spend more than 2 nights as there is more to do around Sigiriya than we had expected.

If we could, we would give this place 12/10! Our stay in Sigiriya was absolutely amazing, and a huge part of that was thanks to Kasun and his brother. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had the best possible experience. They helped us with everything – arranging taxis, organizing fantastic trips, and always being available whenever we needed anything. We also had the chance to taste delicious local food, and the breakfasts were simply outstanding every single day. Everything was smooth, welcoming, and genuinely heartfelt. We felt taken care of from the very beginning. Thank you so much, Kasun and your brother – we truly appreciate everything you did for us. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sigiriya!

Beautiful area by a lake, family who owns property went above and beyond. On arrival sent activity options on WhatsApp. Where we booked a safari. Yummy breakfast. Shame they don’t provide food for evening or drinks throughout day. As a far walk to local bars/cafe.

Room is very basic. Sheets were single we had 2 for a double bed but abit too small for my partner who’s tall. Bathroom shower needs improvement - 2 shower systems but one was hanging off the wall with zero pressure and would either be freezing water or boiling hot. A good 30-40 min walk to sigiriya main town. We didn’t realise this. The road is very bumpy on way to accommodation. Tuktuk were expensive and Pick me app attempted to be used multiple times and had to ask owner to call a Tuktuk for us what was pricey. Sometimes no choice but to walk and heat can be to much. 2 minute walk to local lake was very nice. Pool could do with simple adjustments - only 4 sun lounges. No place to put out of sun. Maybe umbrella could be helpful. Also sun loungers were dirty with bird poo. Maybe more attention to detail.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host took amazing care of us, organized fantastic tours, and was incredibly helpful at all times. We truly felt welcomed and well looked after throughout our entire stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious – fresh, tasty, and prepared with great attention to detail. It was the perfect way to start each day. The accommodation itself was clean and very cozy, making us feel right at home. The pool was perfect for relaxing during the day and enjoying some peaceful downtime. The location was ideal – very central and beautifully situated by a lake. We were able to rent bicycles directly at the accommodation and explore the surrounding area, which made our stay even more special. We recommend this place 100% and would love to come back anytime!

Everything you need: a/c; comfy beds with mosquito nets, hot water, great price; can arrange good price safari to Hurulu eco park, it was very very good safari! Managers brother cooked best local breakfast. The best we had during 10days in Sri Lanka! It is so peaceful in there, morning sounds of jungle. Saw couple wild animals in yard in the morning. The pool! And such good hearts of the manager. Thank you for your help, for a clean comfy stay. 🙏🙏🙏

Bardzo fajne miejsce, położone wśród zieleni. Śniadania były bardzo dobre, pokój czysty i komfortowy. Gospodarz niezwykle miły i pomocny — pomógł nam w organizacji zwiedzania, dzięki czemu pobyt był jeszcze przyjemniejszy. Zdecydowanie polecam!

Great place right with amazing views next to the lake, very spacious rooms and very friendly service. Our daughter Nora loved playing with her new best friend. Very nice quiet accommodation on a very quiet road surrounded by rice fields.

We had a wonderful stay at bungalow resort. We loved the location by the lake, it was very peaceful. Kasun and the staff went above and beyond with assisting us with everything we needed during our stay, including transport, food delivery, tours, etc. such genuine kind people who it was lovely getting to know. The kids loved the pool, my husband loved the birds and I loved that everyone was happy!

Personal amable , dispuesto a ayudar siempre y a hacerte un estancia agradable , viajamos con un niño de 5 años y el trato hacia él fue excepcional siempre pendiente de que no le faltara nada. La ubicación fue perfecta , aunque está algo retirado de zona restaurantes , se encuentra al lado de un lago y muy cerca del point view donde encontrarás unas vistas increíbles de la lion rock 😍. Nosotros viajamos con nuestro propio tuk tuk. El desayuno excepcional, de lo más completo que probamos en Sri Lanka . La piscina muy bien acondicionada y cuidada.

El camino hacia el alojamiento tiene muchos baches . Y por poner una pega , la presión del agua de la ducha es baja

Bathroom was not as clean as it needs to be

La amabilidad del personal. La ubicación súper tranquila (solo se escuchan sonidos de la selva). La piscina. El desayuno.

Aunque la ubicación para nosotros fue perfecta porque teníamos nuestro propio tuktuk, creo que puede ser algo incómoda (está un poco a las afueras) si no tienes tu propio medio de transporte, pero nada exagerado.

hotel w mega dobrej cenie. pokój bardzo skromny ale czysty. atutem jest bardzo pomocny gospodarz. Pan był dostępny całą dobę i służył chętnie pomocą. kilka razy udowodnił swoją uczciwość co świadczy o tym , ze zależy mu na dobrej obsłudze turystów i ich zadowoleniu , a nie jednorazowym naciągnięciu na kasę.

Ogromna dbałość o klienta - gospodarz Kasun w każdym możliwym momencie dopytywał czy nam czegoś nie potrzeba. Basen duzy i utrzymany w czystosci- dzieci nie chciały z niego wychodzić. Lokalizacja dogodna do wypadu na Lion's Rock. W pobliżu jezioro z bogatą fauną i florą.

We had the most amazing stay at Bungalow resort. Huge shout out to the host Kasun, who couldn’t do enough for us, picking up food and drink orders, getting us tuk tuks, and advising us on places to go! A true gentleman, who we will miss! The breakfasts were delicious and the scenery was incredible. Beautiful, big pool surrounded by wildlife and a neighbouring lake. Tranquil yet very close to sigiriya town with lots of restaurants. 100% recommend staying here.

Le calme , la piscine et la disponibilité du personnel. Kasun est allé récupérer notre repas en ville. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et délicieux. Les lits sont très confortables.

The hospitality from Kasun was second to none. Nothing was a problem to arrange, and he went above and beyond for us. Being next to the lake was ideal with all the wildlife surrounding you. This is what we were hoping for and got. Our room was spacious and adequate for our needs. Kasun and his staff have done a huge amount of work in their garden with a large variety of spice and fruit trees. We wish them all the best for their future plans to enhance the property, and we would gladly return.

Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. Er hat uns sogar Angelausrüstung besorgt und so konnten wir am See nebenan angeln und sind mit den hilfsbereiten Einheimischen in Kontakt gekommen. Auf diesem Weg sind auch Affen in den Bäumen zu finden! Der Pool ist sehr gut zum Erfrischen geeignet. Auch das Frühstück hat gepasst.

Die Matratze hatte ein paar Flecken und das Bad war etwas rostig.

Nous avons adoré nos 3 nuits dans ce logement. La maison est magnifique avec une belle piscine au milieu d'un jardin luxuriant. La chambre est grande et la literie confortable. L'hôte est d'une gentillesse incroyable. Il nous a également aidé à nous organiser un safari . C était super .Le petit déjeuner est le meilleur que nous ayions eu au Sri Lanka. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés ce lieux .

Nous avons tout aimé.

De eigenaar Kasun was heel vriendelijk en gaf ons advies over alles en nog wat. We hadden veel vragen. Hij was heel behulpzaam en regelde eten of laundry services. Mooi zwembad en tuin met veel soorten fruit en groenten. Heel lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt met elke dag variatie! Wij deden een Safari in Sigiriya. Er waren veel olifanten te zien in Kaudulla nationaal park. De omgeving is ook perfect voor een uitstap met de scooter (als je hobbelige wegen geen probleem vindt). Die kan je makkelijk op de hoofdstraat huren.

Alles was goed. Ik zou aanraden om nog nachtkastjes te plaatsen naast de bedden en een meubel in de badkamer om iets op te zetten.

Posizione molto tranquilla vicina ad un lago e lontana dalla strada centrale ma a 5 minuti di tuk tuk . Camera molto grande e pulita. Non fanno servizio cucina ma senza nessuna spesa aggiuntiva ti fanno ordinare un take away da un paio di ristoranti e si può consumare il proprio pasto tranquillamente al tavolo sul grande terrazzo di fronte la propria camera. Ci siamo godute anche qualche ora anche nella bella piscina a disposizione degli ospiti. Kasun, il proprietario, è stato di una gentilezza e di una disponibilità incredibile! Ci ha aiutato ad organizzare tutte le nostre attività a Sigiriya ed è stato sempre attento alle nostre necessità con discrezione e grande cortesia.
