You can feel dust and mold smell pretty much everywhere, plus insects.

The connection to nature is best so the location is top notch

It is easy accessible and close to the Kruger National Park.

This property has a lot of potential, but is in desperate need of maintenance. The pictures only tell half the story. For example: the sliding doors don’t open properly; the braai’s are very rusted; the kitchen needs attention, etc. The roads in Marloth are in dire condition and not easily accessible with a sedan. It would also be a good idea if the house is properly cleaned from corner to corner, including curtains.

The owner is constantly around the house while you there my wife walked to the kitchen one morning and she got out the shower and he was outside the kitchen window . And there is definitely bed bugs ....

Host was very hospitable and friendly.

The water taps in the main bedroom were too tight; difficult to open and close. And, it took a long time for the water to get warm. Kitchen: There were only 4 desert spoons. Also: the electricity went down twice; the owner might consider to install an inverter to circumvent the off-time.

Thanks to uncle Collin for his very nice facility, it's was our 3 RD time staying there and as the previous times was very clean well equipped and was only a pleasure to stay there

I loved that there was a garden that was enclosed for the kids. Made it feel a bit saver when the son sets and they still want to play. Enjoyed the daybed on the stoep under a fan. Pool was cleaned before we could even get up in the morning. Washing machine came in handy. Advert does not specify dishwasher but I was greatfull that there was one.

We had an absolute blast at this amazing location! The host was super attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The suggestions for restaurants were spot on, and we ended up discovering some hidden gems. The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the house itself was even more beautiful than the pictures! We felt safe and cozy throughout our stay, which was a huge plus. The kids absolutely loved the place, and feeding the animals was a highlight of their trip. This place is a must-visit. The host, location, and amenities all came together to create an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely be back!

Loved that we had to wait for the giraffes to move before we could get down the driveway. So much wildlife around. Our hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The house was beautiful and spacious for the 4 of us. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is well-maintained and generously sized; all the necessary amenities are provided, and a washing machine was also available, which was greatly appreciated during our trip. The kids loved the plunge pool, and we were thrilled to be visited by a number of the local animals in the front yard. A great place to unwind, located near the Kruger Park.

This was the best experience I have ever had. Collin was very attentive to detail and made us feel at home. Best ever.

Host took a while to respond to my messages on the day of arrival, started getting dark before they showed up (had to conisder contacting other stays at the point), the host also lives next to the accommodation. The bath and shower only had hot water. The blinds were see through.

1. Private access road to the facility is a plus 2. The owners are very good people to do business with 3. Dish washing and lsundry machines are the cherry on top

1. One toilet/bathroom for three bedrooms/max 6 quest during rush hours needs serious attention 2. The door of the bathroom in the main bedroom need to be fitted 3. Other three bedrooms need furniture

We had a lovely getaway. Will definitely return for more visits. The 3 'boys' (warthogs) came to visit every day. Zebras, Kudus, and even giraffes came around the house daily.. wonderful experience!

My stay at Collin's Rest was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect, from the warm and welcoming hospitality to the spotless and comfortable accommodation. The rooms were immaculately clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed to ensure a relaxing stay. The attention to detail and care put into every aspect of the experience truly made it unforgettable. Lots of animals came to the house. The kids really enjoyed the pool.

Upon arrival at the house, we were told that there were only 2 aircons in the house with 4 rooms and only one of the aircons was working. There was a heatwave with temperature up to 48 degrees, which made it nearly impossible to sleep at night. The fridge/freezer needs to be replaced as it does not seal and cool the food. We got sick from some of the meat that went off. Halfway through our stay, I had to rent another house in Marloth due to the fact that only 1 room had an aircon, and none of my guests was able to sleep at night. The privacy factor was also an issue as the manager or maybe the owner stays in a house that's attached to the house you're renting. They can hear your conversations, and half their stuff is stored in the garage(broken motorcycle,spares, and other random stuff).

The location was great. It was very neat, orderly, clean, and tidy. It is an older property. It was very spacious, safe, and secluded. The clean pool, despite being small, was very enjoyable. It was definitely value for money. Colin was very helpful and welcoming.

It was hot and there was only aircon in the main bedroom. The ceiling fans didn't help much. The wifi wasn't working at all.

Everything. From the comfortable beds,to the refreshing sparkling pool. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the wooden benches outside. The fact that we could park our car inside a safe garage,was an added bonus. Our host,Colin,was an absolute sweetheart. We saw an abundance of animals. We will definitely visit again.

There is no privacy at all! We did not enjoy our stay because of how bad they treated us. They are always watching everything that we are doing.

The accomodation was very nice and the host is just excellent

It felt like a home more than it felt like a vacation house, and we saw more animals around the yard than we expected. The hosts (a beautiful couple) were just amazing, there's stable WiFi, garage parking and so many other convinient facilities.

Beautiful decorated house, we stayed for only one night but loved every moment. From a splash in the pool, using the braai and kitchen facilities and having a whole mongoose family visiting the garden. The beds are very comfortable and the showers hot and with good pressure.
