Reviewed May 29, 2025We stayed at Stadigies as a family of four and had a great time. There is plenty of space at the house. The garden is lovely and well maintained. Right next to the garden is the fence overlooking the river which borders Kruger National Park, from where many animals can be spotted.
We felt there are too many decorations/ornaments in the house, however it is a matter of taste.

Very tiny comment, the upstairs shower in the "protea" bathroom doesn't have a constant temperature, really difficult to get it warm, either boiling hot or freezing cold

Reviewed Apr 11, 2025Amazing property. Super cosy and very luxurious, too. Close to the Crocodile River, where wildlife can be seen. Amazing scenery and those African sunsets are one of a kind. The property has absolutely everything....really realy well worth every penny. Would go back again. Highly recommended!!!

Bed in 1st bedroom upstairs extremely soft & not comfortable Difficult to adjust water in shower as it kept going cold then too hot. Need a light outside behind the bar as that corner was too dark

Reviewed Aug 3, 2024Our first visit to Marloth Park and boy, were we impressed. There was absolutely nothing not to like about Stadigiess - it is absolutely magical and serene, with the most perfect location. a mere few steps away from the Crocodile River bank. With little benches where one could enjoy coffee, sundowners, and inhale nature. We saw oodles of game, including elephants and buffaloes, right in front of us. One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen, let alone in the bushveld. The resident bushbaby paid us a visit, and steenbokkies too. It truly was magical, and a perfect place to recharge one's batteries. We shall definitely return. The staff, Mitte and John, were amazing. Mitte felt like a sister from the moment we met. Kudos for Stadigies.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2024Fully equipped, they even have full solar plus a generator. Aircons in all the rooms. The ice machine was a bonus. Swimming pool was nice and clean. Mita even arranged the firewood for us, she kept the house clean, doing dishes as well. We really felt that we were on holiday. It is so close to the river and the garden is beautiful, this place is a GEM.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2024Fantastic.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , Just what we needed to unwind and recharge our batteries. House is beautifully decorated, beds very comfortable, Kitchen has everything you would need. Everything was very clean. No load shedding was an added bonus. The verandah very comfortable. There is a dinning table outside on verandah or inside. Awesome to have breakfast outside with all the birdlife sounds. The swimming pool was sparkling clean and perfect to cool off in when the days got really hot. We enjoyed our early morning coffee and sundowners at the river which is about a 300m walk. You feel very secluded and away from all the hustle and bustle. We had lots of game visiting. Mithi welcomed us on our arrival and explained to us how everything worked, she was very friendly and helpful.
That we didn't book for a longer stay. Will definitely be back.
