Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Perfect stay in every way! We loved waking up to a beautiful farm view with sheep wandering around, it was so peaceful and lovely. The place is clean, tidy and so cozy, all the appliance and household items are really nice quality，love the decoration and mugs! The kitchen has everything we need! Mattress are firm which is good for my back after long driving. The views are unbeatable, and the whole experience was just wonderful. We will definitely come back and stay longer if we get the chance!

Reviewed Nov 5, 2025We love staying out of town, looking out to sheep in the paddock. We had great weather while we were there and were able to enjoy breakfast on the deck. The house was well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed using the barbecue to cook meals. Beds were very comfortable, and having 2 bathrooms for 5 adults was great. Location was great for exploring the area - Napier, Hastings, Havelock North and Te Mata Peak.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025We were extremely impressed with all of the "extras" which appeared to be carefully thought about, which we don't usually come across in other rental properties. Just little touches like an extra new toothbrush in case you'd forgotten yours; an umbrella; shopping bags, etc The decor was very nice with lots of little touches which were very appealing. We loved the "rural" setting which in fact, was so close to town, yet felt miles away. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the large yard and the sheep & baby lambs next door. And our host was very communicative, accommodating and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back!
My only suggestion would be a non-slip mat in the ensuite shower as the surface was a little slippery. Other than that, was 200% happy with our accommodation. Thank you!

Reviewed Oct 19, 2024Beautiful cottage stay which is close to the main town of Hastings and about 20mins to Napier. It is also in a great location near the many wineries, cafes and dinner spots. There is parking available on site. The property was clean with a good array of ammenities, you also get the morning sun on the deck which is a great place to have a coffee.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2024This property is so wonderful!! Surrounded by beautiful gardens and paddocks with grazing sheep and little lambs (my daughter was delighted!). The home itself is so warm and homely, the hosts had popped in to turn the heat pump on before we arrived which was so thoughtful. The beds are comfortable, the showers are fantastic, we weren’t there long enough to use the kitchen but it was beautiful and modern. We will absolutely be booking this accomodation again next time we pass through Hastings. It completely exceeded expectations.

The house is very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and lots more.. Our hostess was delightful and available to help us when we needed it..
