The Robertson Small Hotel provides an exceptional five-star experience in the Cape Winelands. The helpful staff shows incredible attention to detail, the breakfast is delicious, and the complimentary car wash is a fantastic touch. Highly recommended!

The manicured gardens are lovely. And the restaurant and spa on the premises allow one to truly relax.

Please consider upgrading to smart TVs. This would be more in keeping with a 5 star establishment.

From entering the premises, we were made to feel home by the friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and we will definitely return.

Limited dinner menu and not enough warm water.

The room was spacious and modern, we were upgraded to the stable suite which made our stay extra special. The menu at the small restaurant is limited but there is enough to suite different pallaetes. The wine selection was excellent. The breakfast was continental with a good selection of food, wish there were extra pasteries. There was an a la carte menu as well. The location was excellent as we were attending a wine festival in town. Loved the complimentary car wash was a nice touch.

Nothing to add, really, everything about the property met our expectations.

Every thing, especially the swimming in front of the patio. I also loved their friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was wonderful.

Lovely building, large rooms and very comfortable beds.

The price-quality ratio isn’t right. It seems like this was an excellent property once but it definitely isn’t a 5 star establishment anymore. It needs some maintenance and TLC in the rooms and common areas, and much better service. Breakfast was very average, the cooked options borderline inedible. I wouldn’t recommend the stable suites as you can hear every step of your upstairs neighbours and the room isn’t very private as all windows face common areas.

The spa closes at 5pm. I wanted to book and they stayed open especially for me. They also wash your car as an special treat. The staff is different class and extra friendly.

Ik was daar 6 jaar geleden. Intussen zo in kwaliteit teruggevallen, dat de (zeker voor Zuid Afrika) hoge prijs in geen verhouding stond. Mij zien ze nooit meer terug!

Uns wurden zwei Zimmer gezeigt und wir haben en uns für ein sehr großes Zimmer unter dem Dach eines Nebengebäudes entschieden. Die Klimaanlage hat zum Glück gut funktioniert, so dass wir das moderne Zimmer mit einem wunderschönen Bad genießen konnten. Das Bett war bequem und die Lage ruhig. Das Zimmer im Haupthaus, welches noch zur Verfügung stand, schien allerdings etwas einfacher zu sein. Sehr schöner Garten mit zwei Pools Das Restaurant war sehr gut - das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen.

The special little touches and spoils!

The Breakfast itself was fair, but the service was soooooo slow, even though the staff were very friendly. The breakfast menu was good but the buffet section with pasteries etc was very underwhelming. I enjoyed the grounds and the gardens.

Our shower had a grey plastic cleaning bucket in it???? Why? They used bathmats for bedside carpets. Really? Not a box of tissues to be found. Definitely not a 5* experience. Avoid Room 3 at all costs.

Food good rather than exceptional.

Lovely, well appointed hotel in the centre of Robertson. We had a room in the main hotel building next to the kitchen and we were warned it could be noisy but actually it was fine. The room was described as small, but in fact it was enormous. Staff were lovely, very helpful and our car was even washed before we departed. We elected to eat in the restaurant and the food was excellent with a nice atmosphere as it seemed that most people opted to eat in.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel. The gardens are lovely and the bar seating area on the stoop is quirky and pretty. Welcoming and friendly staff made our stay memorable.

Lovely little hotel, amazing gardens, very tranquil, spacious rooms. We only spent one night here, but could have spent more and likely will. Food in the restaurant was incredible also!

I cant really pick fault, as before I would have liked to have stayed longer as the wine region looks stunning in Robertson, we will be back

We hebben hier een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Prachtige ruime kamer met een fijn bed. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De accommodatie is prachtig, je voelt de geschiedenis van het gebouw in een comfortabel jasje gegoten. We hebben hier echt genoten

A tranquil spot in Robertson. We had a beautiful pool room and a restful night’s sleep.

Everything! One of the best places we stayed in South Africa! The Service is a 15/10!

Die ruhige und doch zentrale Lage mit einer sehr schönen Gartenanlage und schönem Pool sind herauszustellen. Das viktorianische Gebäude ist ist schick modernisiert und auch ein Augenschmaus. Die Poolzimmer, deren Terrasse unmittelbar Zugang zum Pool bietet, sind stylisch eingerichtet.

Gegen über vorherigen Aufenthalten hat die Qualität der Speisen leicht nachgelassen. Neu eingestelltes Personal war im Service eher lässig als engagiert und verantwortete ein dürftiges Angebot beim Frühstücksbuffet. An 2 Tagen waren die frisch bereitgestellten Hand- und Duschtücher verschmutzt, was unsererseits zu einer deutlichen Reklamation führte.

Das wunderschöne Zimmer mit dem direktem Pool-Zugang war toll! Das Bett grossartig und auch das gute Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Accueil très pro, personnel aux petits soins, avons manger le soir a la terrasse une cuisine parfaite et un petit dej super top un personnel devoué gentil et a disposition de toute demande . Laisse a désirer la gestion de leur spa ! Avions rdv a 11h0 le matin et on nous dit lorsque l’on se présente que c pas possible sachant que le rdvs avait été fixé la veille très déçu de cette situation ! Désolé amis ceci devait être démontré et dit !

This once beautiful boutique hotel which we have stayed at a few times in the past has been refreshed and restyled in a tacky way - the new additions -paint colors, new bathroom wall tiles ,’-art’ are awful -it is very expensive now for what’s on offer- we were the sole guests at the hotel during our stay - yet the pool Which was directly outside our room was cleaned early in the morning while we were getting dressed so we had to close our shutters - could have waited till we went for breakfast ? I was disappointed.

The ambience was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good as was the dinner. The selection of wines was very good. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable 3 nights.

Maybe a more varied selection of beers and those which they had could have been colder.

Excellent meals at the restaurant. Great room - I think we may have been upgraded. The heated bathroom floor was a treat for cooler weather. Very pleasant and helpful people throughout. Was so impressed, they washed our car in the morning without being asked to! Nice touch as it had gotten dusty / full of bugs en route.

Lovely small hotel, beautiful setting, beautiful garden, lovely rooms and amazing small restaurant with delicious food.

Wonderful experience. Staff were professional and friendly. From the reception to the cleaning staff. We stayed in Room 10…. Beautiful experience. Good size room overlooking one of the two pools on the property. One could dine at Restaurant or ask for Room service It was a pleasurable three night stay.
