De Blauwvoet - Flamingo Apartment

We are ultra runners, and stayed for TTOM 2026 The host was great, even helping us when we left our keys 🔑 in the Uber and to courier my belongings left in the unit. The location is good, 12km from the city chaos, safe to walk to nearby shops about 1.3km away, with nice bike routes for running 🏃🏽‍♀️ that you don't wanna stop. Walking distance to the beach overlooking the city and Table Mountain from far.

Really a lovely rental unit, with everything you need and a nice big pool. The location Is great and peaceful, a very safe neighborhood. The owner was very helpful and accommodating with my personal requests

The accommodation was amazing and very peaceful. My husband and I enjoyed every moment, the host was lovely and friendly. Always checking up and answered all questions. This is a go to place especially for couples wanting to relax and take a break to bond. I am definitely visiting again soon!!!!!

Everything abput the property far exceeded any expectations we had, there was nothing for us to complain about, the time flew by too fast for our liking.

It was easy to explore the local attractions, and the nearby shops and restaurants were convenient and offered a great selection. Accommodation: The Flamingo Apartment itself is beautifully decorated with a modern yet cosy aesthetic. The space was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting the high standards of cleanliness. Amenities: The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for us as we needed to stay connected. Additionally, the bathroom was modern, with a great shower that provided a refreshing start to our days. Service: The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He provided us with all the necessary information about the apartment and the local area. His friendly and approachable demeanour made us feel right at home. He was also readily available to answer any questions we had during our stay, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

The only drawback we encountered during our stay was the presence of ants crawling on the floor. While it was a minor issue, it did cause some inconvenience. We brought this to the attention of the host, who was understanding and assured us they would address the problem promptly.

It’s a beautiful spot and is 5 mins away from a breathtaking beach. The host minds his business and is very kind and accommodating. The place is such a vibe.

The cleanest holiday place. So spacious and near the beach and utilities. The host's is so friendly and helpful, they even made a presentation with your name and with all the info you would need. Would defenitly return to De Blauwvoet.

Michael was an amazing host. Always there to assist. This place was very clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you needed. Fantastic location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again.
