Unit 4 Tranquil Harbourside Retreat- Central Location

The location was walking distance to most things we wanted to see.

Hand towel and facecloths in bathroom. A mirror next to an outlet to blow dry or straighten hair. Hot water in bathroom sink would be nice. Supplies such as tea and sugar would be nice. No directions about where to park specifically nor where to pay for parking. It would have been good for the ad to say that parking wasn’t free. Also, the host didn’t answer my questions the day I checked in regarding parking. Also instructions for the washer/dryer should be provided as that was a big reason I booked the place, and although it washed fine, the clothes never fully dried, even though we tried multiple times. Very frustrating to leave with damp clothes!

Location was perfect. Nice comfy bed. Overall great stay.

Stairs are a little steep for the older couple. But we had no problems.

Mooi apartment midden in Cobh. Gratis parkeerplaats 800 meter verderop bij treinstation. Nog vrij nieuw appartement of in ieder geval mooi opgeknapt.

Keuken was karig ingericht. Bestek voor 2 personen (dus bv 2 vorken) en maar 2 kleine steelpannetjes. Dus ei bakken zat er niet in, laat staan koken. Geen rolgordijn bij dakraam, dus al vroeg licht in je gezicht.

The location was stunning the apartment was so clean . Stuff wore very helpfull and very polite place . It so comfortable and cozy would definitely book this place agian.

Clean and bright apartment in a great central location. Charlette kept in touch with us throughout our stay which was reassuring if we needed assistance. Lockbox very handy. Apartment was exactly as pictured. Very quiet at night

Light in the morning through the skylight. But we brought eye masks as other visitors had mentioned this.

Easy to find on foot from the Station, 600mtrs. Easy access to Lock box for key, great communication with Charlette beforehand & during stay. Ability to prepare small meals was great for us too, enough equipment to do so. Cleaning lady helpful & friendly too. Enjoyed our 5 nites in Cobh.

Couldn't find any coat hangers, did not deter from stay. Stairs steep..must be getting old!!!! Everything was good, clean & as stated.

Great location. Very easy to get around Cobh from. Comfy bed and spacious flat. Great to have the use of a washing machine.

This apartment has huge potential, because as stated above the location is ideal, but unfortunately the apartment itself is in desperate need of a good deep clean and even some fresh paint on all the walls could make a big difference. The velux window in the bedroom really needs attention, you could feel the cold air coming straight down from it while in bed, even with the heating on. Overall for the price paid it was disappointing.

Builders equipment and paint in corridor heating not working Bathroom renovation incomplete. No bathmats. Water in shower difficult to use. Shower door seal falling off. Mould in shower on walls in kitchen and bathroom. Doona was very cold. Dirty towel in the bathroom cupboard. No tea bags or coffee for use. Cups stained with coffee and tea. Not cleaned for customers to use. No body wash or shampoo to use.

Great location. Helpful and responsive host.

Issues with cleanliness and layout. There was a horrible smell in the entrance, bin bags visibly left in the hall. The smell wafted all the way to the apartment on the 2nd floor but thankfully no smell in the apartment itself. There were no bedside lockers which was annoying. No blind on the skylight and the window was extremely dirty and mouldy.. the apartment was generally dusty, did not feel thoroughly cleaned.. I enjoyed my stay but not sure I'd recommend to others or stay there again.

The apartment in which we ended up staying in was absolutely stunning with sea views. We even got to see dolphins jumping around in the sea around 7/8pm. It was absolutely amazing. The apartment was so clean and the decor was beautiful. I could absolutely not fault the host. Mark was so unbelievably accommodating and hospitable. He checked in on us and ensured we were comfortable and looked after. He went above and beyond as a host.

We ran into a small issue when we checked in initially, but it was looked after incredibly quickly and professionally by the host.

The location. Peaceful Close to train station and restaurants. Beautiful view of the bay and friendly people around. I would like to come back and explore more of the area

No communication from either booking.com or agent owner, who didn't respond when called or text, answer machine. Lots of hassle to sort extra booking needing, No response once arrived. So we just rebooked elsewhere. Flat is basic and clean, hassle for parking outside on street free car park is so far away u may as well park in another city past the police station in another county , also on street parking machine took 2 euro and didn't product a ticket omg . So nothing to do with owner but local council need to resolve local issues that affect the trade of businesses. Shame. Cobh CC.

General cleanliness very poor, a snail was on the wall behind the living room door and another on the ceiling of the kitchen area, cobwebs on the windows of kitchen area, wall fan vents in the bathroom clogged with dirt, mould along the bottom of walls of shower, dirt/rust around shower plughole, no information booklet in the rooms about anything especially fire exit which had no key to get through in event of emergency. The walls and skirting boards are scuffed and dirty. On arrival there were black bin bags and laundry bags lined along the entrance hall.Very disappointed especially as it was my most expensive accommodation through booking.com. I would not recommend this accommodation.

Everything. Was just brilliant. The location was perfect. The apartment was lovely. Beds were cozy. And you had one of my favorite singers watching me safe and sound while I slept.

The only fault was the shower. It went from perishing to scalding. It will need to be fixed.

Up a lot of stairs and to back of property with minimal window views. A skylight in the bedroom over the bed with no blinds was very annoying waking us up in the early hours of the summer morning! Apartment kitchen was not cleaned properly, toilet seat was broken and vert unstable.

The location was great. The bed, TV, and the shower were nice.

The front door to the apartment (which held several units was often unlocked. The cleaning tools were left out in the hallway. There were no side tables next to the sofa or the bed. I didn't think or check to see if there was wifi or not as that is pretty standard these days (and totally my mistake) but I honestly would not have booked the apartment is I knew there was no wifi.

We did really like the location of the apartment, as its in the town center. Good instructions were given how to find it and very nice welcome message has been sent prior to arrival.

We arrived after long day of traveling and found ourselves in the ridiculously hot apartment: heating were left on, windows closed, so we supposed to switch the heating off,open windows and leave the place to let it cool down. Bed was clean, its a double bed, not king size. shower was clean as well, but the whole place needed a good dusting off. Also we couldn't have access to WiFi. To my query on that matter the host answered that there should be a welcome letter with the password. Which wasn't there and after that I didn't receive any answer.yeah, why should I?- rent is paid ,just couple of hours left to spent there, who cares...

Sleek modern design, huge television, extremely comfortable bed, perfectly clean. Dishes and cutlery. Beautiful electronic fire place for ambience. Candles. Amenities provided kettle toaster oven and even over head extractor fan working perfectly. Picture of Elvis Presley over the bed I found to be very tasteful and cool.

The fireplace would flick on for just a second and then turn off. There could have been more kitchen roll. The TV wasn't the priority but it would have been nice to watch some local television. There were other accounts that forgot to log out of the Netflix etc.

Location was excellent right in the centre of town, nice size for a couple. Place was clean and at the back of the building so no street noise.

There was no blind on the skylight in bedroom which meant that you were woken by sunlight. The apartment had a modem for internet but this could only be used via the smart TV for streaming and not used for Wifi which seemed odd

Fantastic location, perfect apartment from a space and quality perspective

Location was brilliant. It's in the centre of the town and close to everything. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and both my husband and I had the best night's sleep that we ever had. Even though it is in a central location, it is very peaceful without noise from outside.

Unfortunately, there wasn't a view from the apartment. Perhaps an electronic blind for the skylight might be a helpful addition for some.

The apartment size design and location was perfect Martha was a great help and Arthur was responded quickly to any concerns.

The kitchen is designed well with modern appliances although I I think a small microwave would be a nice addition for those leftovers !
