Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Excellent location right across from the bay where you could hear the surf pounding on the beach or pier. I gave this location a 9 because almost everything is within walking distance, and we really enjoyed hearing the surf through the windows that opened.
We didn’t like carrying our heavy bags up three flights of stairs because there are no elevators. Also, you have to find a parking spot on the street.

It was advertised as room with bunk beds and thats exactly what we got but it was tight squeeze in the lower bed ,to sleep in

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Great location and stunning view, apartment was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Hosts were accessible and responsive, really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.
More of a heads up that there are quite a few stairs to the upper apartments for anyone booking with mobility issues. Parking can be difficult at busy times but rates are very fair in the area.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026The view was to die for! Absolutely wonderful. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. Bathroom was ok, as was double bedroom. Lounge area was great, nice to have recliner; shave it by work on the other half of sofa. But it was fine.
I kept banging my head on the bunk bed! But that's to be expected I suppose. We found the windows tricky to open at first.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026The location was fantastic. Accommodations are tight but nice. View was outstanding. Bedrooms were tiny but workable, beds relatively comfortable. Such a cool town.
Some things were missing when we arrived, such as paper towels, hair dryer, sponges. There were no instructions about parking, which would have been helpful. Not the most responsive host in terms of communication. We never got the hair dryer we were promised, for example, but they did bring paper towels, and I never received a response to a question when leaving. The place was surface level clean, but if you look closely at floor boards, vents, and other things, you do see lots of accumulated dirt. I think it just needs a deeper clean between visits. I'd also suggest shelving in the bathroom and instructions on where to take the trash. But it all worked out fine in the end and was a good place to stay.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Location is ideal, beside the Dock and plenty of shops and chippers nearby, great view from the apartment overlooking the piers and ocean. Beds were comfortable and clean, towels were provided, the couch in the living room is comfortable and the TV was smart with full features available.
Getting the keys in the lockbox was fine, only problem was that the front door lock was quite fiddly and needed a few attempts to open. Same with room lock, but not as bad. Also there was no toilet paper which was quite frustrating.

Reviewed Oct 28, 2025We had a very pleasant stay in Cobh. The double bunk bed was a bit tight, but the nice view from the kitchen and the other comfy bedroom were great! After 5pm it's less crowded and the variety of restaurants is manageable. We definitely can recommend to stay here.

No soap in bathroom and shower dispensers. Missing a light bulb and a plug in kitchen sink. Overall not as clean as it should have been. Communal stairs and landings needed a good vacuum.
