Such a peaceful scenic place. Very comfortable cabins. Loved the outdoor private bath.

The booking system for spa treatments. Paying up front before seeing if an appointment time suited us and now having to wait for a refund since there wasn’t a slot to fit our schedule.

The huge open skies, spectacular views outside deep bath, sauna and comfy cabins make this a great place to zone out from the world. Adored the wooden detailing with side tables, shelves and that outdoor bench is perfect with terrace/fire pit and BBQ facilities.

Minor stuff like curtains, throws,sofa better in natural materials to improve eco creds.

De accomodatie ligt op een waanzinnige plek. Rustig met een mooi wijds uitzicht over de omgeving. Ook is de eigenaar goed bereikbaar via WhatsApp en chat.

De route vanuit Glengarriff naar de locatie toe is een erg smalle weg met steile heuvels, waar je slecht op kan uitwijken bij tegenliggers. De route vanuit Bantry is veel beter te rijden. Verder klopt de informatie op Booking.com niet. De accomodatie heeft GEEN wasmachine en GEEN vaatwasser. De wasmachine was een van de redenen voor ons om deze accomodatie te te kiezen op onze reis door Ierland, dus dit was voor ons een behoorlijke tegenvaller.

Located in such a peaceful area it was the perfect place to relax and unwind and a place our dog could come along to as well. Enjoyed the outdoor bathtub , the view and our dog loved the zoomie zone where she could run around off her lead in a fenced area.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing it was made fresh and more than enough for the days we spent there, the bread was made fresh. We toasted it and it was amazing and im assuming the jam was made also as it was the nicest jam we ever ate. My favourite place was the breakfast bar waking up drinking coffee starring out this window.

The most beautiful stay. So relaxing and gorgeous ambience. Stunning views and outstanding hosts. The massages were brilliant also. Already looking to book again.

This was a beautiful and relaxing cottage, such a stunning area and very very quiet. The bathtub outside was amazing and the saune had a view into the bay, can highly recommend. One outstanding plus of these cabins were the comfortable mattresses as well.

The shower did easily overflow into the entire bathroom, but that is just a minor comment 🙂

No outdoor lighting which made it difficult to walk from lodge to sauna and back in the dark while the sauna was open (6-9pm) The property was a 15 minute drive from Bantry down a bad road

Loved the facilities, super it is dog friendly. Also, the sauna, having hot water availble in the outdoor bath, the robes, and the flip-flops. The view from the huge bed is amazing. The bed is very comfortable and extra long!. The nice touch of having tea,coffee, milk and lovely light scones, with real butter and jam was very much appreciated. Ease of check in and easy to follow directions.

The water goes everywhere from the walk in shower. The exposed bulbs is not good for me as they trigger mirganes and unfortunately there wasn't an other low light option. Thank god we brought a low light torch which came in handy at night time when taking the dog out. The road to the property (distance from town and need to find a gap if you meet another car). Make sure you bring everything that you need with you as popping to the shops is not something you will want to do when you get settled. 10am check out is a challenge!

Fantastic decor, thoughtful touches, dog friendly, comfy bed, lots of options of add ons

L'endroit se mérite car il n'est pas très évident à trouver la première fois. Mais ensuite on y est particulièrement bien et dans un calme absolu. Le sauna permet une agréable détente le soir venu. On est complètement perdu en plein milieux d'une nature sauvage, et pour les amoureux de lieux atypiques comme moi c'est un véritable plaisir. Les bungalows sont particulièrement bien aménagés (et peu nombreux d'où le calme) avec un confort surprenant et une belle vue depuis l'immense baie vitrée.

Wir waren noch nie in so einer wunderschönen, idyllischen Unterkunft. Es hat etwas magisches und absolut entspannendes wenn man auf dem Bett liegt und einfach nur die Natur mit dem Panorama Blick genießt. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen!

Amazing lodge in a gorgeous part of West Cork overlooking Bantry bay! The interior is pure luxury and comfort and the view is exceptional!

Really enjoyed our stay , we brought our dog with us. We found the location great for exploring West Cork. The scenery is fabulous, but a lot of L Roads

Ein Juwel der Entspannung. Schon die Fahrt zur Unterkunft ist ein kleines Abenteuer und dann verschlägt es einem die Sprache. Die Häuschen sind geschmackvoll und zweckmässig eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden. Die Freiluft-Badewanne vor dem Haus ist der absolute Hit. Die Natur und die Ruhe da oben sind unglaublich schön. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hingehen. Am ersten Tag waren Scones zum Frühstück da. Ansonsten sollte man möglichst vorher einkaufen gehen, da die Wege relativ weit sind. Aber wenn man alles da hat, steht einem gemütlichen Aufenthalt nichts im Weg.

Gorgeous location, our lodge was just fabulous, great bed, shower, view and loads of wee extras that just made the place and stay so wonderful… the scent in the room, homemade scones, fresh milk, robes, toiletries, was all just fantastic.

Stunning location and the accomodation was amazing. .

The Lodge was great, offering the most amazing views of the lush green valley. Super comfy bed and linens and a well-equipped little kitchen. It's a great place to chill and forget about "the world". The site is just so pretty and well maintained. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. The sauna and outdoor bath were a real treat. We had a couple's yoga session and massage which was organised for us and was amazing! We also opted for breakfast hampers and all the products were just delicious. as was the charcuterie board we got for our first night. The lodges are dog friendly also, which was such a treat. They provide a bed, towel and a bowl for your furry companion. Our dog loved the adventure. There are some awesome walks near the lodges too. All in all a great stay and one we will definitely go back to.

There were scones, butter, jam and fresh milk left in the cabin on arrival which was a very nice touch. The views from the cabin were lovely. It is a very peaceful place.

Beautiful setting and scenery. Everything was superb!

A wonderful calm place for a romantic or stress busting break. Really clean and thoughful. A lot of love has gone in to making this place. The huge window will the pull for me to book this place, to be able to look out and enjoy the green even when it was stormy out. So wonderful to enjoy the sauna too. The facilities in the accommodation were great, appreciated the oat milk and having access to coffee and tea and again the long window to enjoy breakfast. This was a great getaway to go to Garnish island that morning before check in and then to be able to explore around the Beara area. Quite the adventure. You need a car for this place and it is remote. Only tips to take it from excellent to exceptional is a string or some type of tie needs to go into the sauna to stop the shed door bashing open as guests started using their robe string :), maybe for wd40 for the door as it was very loud when everything else is so peaceful and lastly, the option for smaller pillows if in anyway possible to find storage as neither of us could manage with how big they were but other than that all other bedding was bliss and we just slept without pillows. Thank you so much for putting your heart into this project. Really was impressed with your whatsapp concierge service too!

Everything: Location, the lodge and the facilities.

It’s a small family business so they provide all the infos and communications by WhatsApp Messages, that are fine and clear…but maybe a little of human touch is missing (we didn’t meet anyone from the team during the entire stay). But this is just a comment and a personal suggestion: the Wild Hideaways is an amazing place and I’d love to come back!

Private , with all you need

The views are amazing and it is super quiet. There were nice scones left upon arrival. The shampoo, conditioner and soap was lovely.

I had one night stay here. It was just okay - I am not sure it warrants the high prices for the overall service / facilities The views are fantastic and location is lovely but there are a few things that disappointed The sauna is only open for three hours a day in the evening - if the property is being advertised as a “spa” I would expect that the sauna would be open more during the day. The property is deemed as self catering - but it has very limited cook ware. There was no frying pan or oven dishes for example. I also think that as each lodge has an outdoor bath, there should be some bath products provided.

The outdoor tub was amazing and overlooking beautiful landscapes. The room is beautiful and spacious and super clean. Everything was wonderful and we will be staying here again when we're in the area. :)

The lodges were comfortable, clean and had the most beautiful views out across Bantry Bay. There was a small kitchen with everything you needed and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. The outdoor bath was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a lovely time here.

The location was amazing with outstanding views of the sea and surrounding towns/villages. The included sauna and cold bath was a relaxing touch and great way to spend the evening. The outdoor private bath was also a fabulous way to wind down watching the sunset. I couldn’t fault anything, the cleanliness and interior was 100%

The incredible location and view, the available adds-on, the sauna, cold plunge and outdoor bath. And the kindness and availability of the owner.

Our stay at Wild Hideaways was exceptional, it is the perfect area to take a few days away and relax, the location is amazing, the lodges are looking down onto Bantry Bay. The Lodges are very well laid out with everything you need, the beds are so comfortable, there is a full kitchen with a very large bathroom. Amy & John the hosts are very welcoming and nothing is a problem, we got the Healthy Breakfeast Option (which was sensational) and there are alot of extras that can be organised like, Pizza's, Wine , Sweets and Fire Logs. Our dog Bradley loved the area with plenty of walks and he had lots of space outside to sit down. We loved the fact that this was Adults only with your Dog which is rare, you will not be disappointed if you want some peace and quiet and time to yourself. We definitely will be back again.

The lodge has an amazing view, the outdoor hot tub is a gem with all the privacy that is needed. The lodge has all you need. Complimentary scones were available on our arrival. We travelled with our dog and the host prepared the lodge also for our beloved furry providing a bed, a bowl and some treats. There is an attention to details that goes beyond all the positive expectations. It is highly recommended if you are looking for a break from your routine and you want to relax in a 5 stars lodge.

Warm, comfortable, beautiful views over the countryside. Loved the sauna and plunge pool! The outdoor bath was a lovely touch too. Great spot.

One of the best places I've ever stayed. It has everything we need. best bed in the world, excellent place to rest. the wonderful sauna and the perfect bath out. the perfect view, peaceful place. It's on my list of places I'll be returning to soon.

This is a unique place to stay. The remote nature of the properties add to the ambiance and relaxation experience of this beautiful venue. We were privileged to be some of the first guests to stay at Wild Hideaway and it did not disappoint. The view from the properties were beautiful and all of the extra amenities are a bonus. The hosts are so helpful and attentive when needed but really want you to have your privacy. This is an excellent couples get away very romantic, some fantastic hiking trails on the doorstep and it is pet friendly. The local village is very welcoming also. We cant wait to go back.
