Impossible de prendre la douche simultanément avec l'autre chambre où se trouvaient nos enfants ,c'étaient à tour de rôle et un peu compliqué! Manque peut-être la possibilité de se faire un thé ou un café comme dans beaucoup de BnB en Irlande.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Bij Niblick wordt gastvrijheid in de hoogste vorm bedreven. Worteltaart met koffie of thee bij aankomst. Als je koffie of thee wilt drinken, roep je maar en wordt het in de fraaie gastenkamer met iets lekkers erbij neergezet. Daardoor mis je de waterkoker op je kamer echt niet. Het uitgebreide en heerlijke ontbijt is ongekend goed. We kregen spijt dat we niet langer hadden geboekt.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Lovely home and garden with a warm welcome from the Eileens. It was a treat to have coffee and cake offered on arrival, and the breakfast was the best we have had so far. We also enjoyed not having to go up a staircase to get to our room.
Room reasonably small but probably average size for our Ireland stays.

There was also a lounge with a TV that we could use so we weren't stuck in our rooms. She gave us tea and biscuits yesterday evening.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Eileen, die Gastgeberin hat uns außerordentlich freundlich begrüßt. Wir wurden mit einem, von Eileen zubereitetem köstlichen Abendessen in Empfang genommen. (lLachs, Salat, Fischplatte, verschiedene Dips und ein hervorragender Wein). Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt. Es ist auch eine schöne Terrasse vorhanden, auf der wir den restlichen Abend verbracht haben und den Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten. Auch das Frühstück, das Eillen wunderschön anrichtete, ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer waren - wie das ganze Haus - sehr gepflegt. Leider haben wir nur eine Nacht dort verbracht. Das B&B verdient einen längeren Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.
Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Tea and coffee making facilities in our room would have been nice. Would have been nice to have a full cooked vegetarian breakfast option. We were left stranded in the local town believing we could get a taxi home after our evening meal. We eventually had to walk.

Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und ich hoffe, hier noch einmal her kommen zu können, für ein paar Tage mehr. Die Umgebung ist auch wunderschön. Wir waren mit unseren Motorrädern da und die standen sicher. Besser geht es nicht. Danke liebe Eileen

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Eileen was very welcoming and advised us which were the best places to visit according to the weather - which was very bad. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. And there was plenty of space for our belongings.
The bathroom and bedroom were not heated either in the morning or evening. The weather was exceptionally bad and the heating should have been on. We felt cold a lot of the time.

Reviewed May 11, 2026We loved staying with Eileen! She welcomed us with a pot of tea of arrival and looked after us very well with plentiful delicious breakfasts and lots of home made treats. Our room had a lovely view of the garden and was very comfortable. We also had access to a living and dining area which was much appreciated. Eileen encouraged us to explore the Beara Peninsula and we are so glad she did because we had the most magnificent day out in the sun.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Beautiful place, near the lake and a golf club, a lot of small details inside and outside, you can see that the owner gives attention to it. Also seen some young bunnies visiting. The room itself is small but clean, enough for two people. The owner is nice, met us in the evening, explained everything we needed. A breakfast was also decent, you can choose between a few options and some fruits, yogurt, muesli were available too.

Reviewed May 5, 2026What a lovely home in a lovely town! This place is beautiful and clean inside and out with impeccable landscaping and, being right next to a golf course, picturesque scenery. It's just a few moments from all the businesses and restaurants of Bantry, and I cannot say enough about the attentiveness and kindness of our host, whose hospitality was truly tremendous for the entirety of our stay, which we only wish could have been longer! The room and breakfast were marvelous as well. Would fervently recommend to all!
