Value for money. The local food at the accommodation is good.

Location is a bit far off from the beach side but okay for a relaxing stay

Very bad. What I wanna tell is the staff was very poor and they didn’t providing the cabins for Sri Lankans. Not recommended.

Thush and his family are sooo welcoming and nice that it feels like you are their guest and not just a paying customer. Cabin are perfect with a big bed and a mosquito net which are in the heart of nature yet close to the city and beach if thats your thing. This was my first stay in lanka with a hot shower hahaa its perfect best place in town you cant go wrong with it. They also provide tours but Im a budget traveller

Thushan’s wife was an amazing host; she cooked absolutely amazing, very very good food!! We loved the neighborhood, people were very nice and waved hello everytime. It felt safe and nice and quiet, away from traffic, but still close enough to walk to the centre and beach. Thushan’s wife, daughter and mother were very kind and nice to get to know. They helped me when I was feeling sick, and asked me how I was doing. Everything was very cheap as well! The cabin is sweet and everything you need. Gorgeous garden. Very homely feel. We never met Thushan, but contact with him was very good as well!

Il y a simplement deux cabines posées sur pilotis . Quoique petites elles offrent le confort nécessaire avec un grand lit double. La salle de bain commune aux deux est assez grande et offre tout ce qu'il faut avec une décoration agréable La jeune femme qui s'occupe de l'établissement est très accueillante. Possibilité de prendre petit déjeuner et dîner ... intéressant car au milieu de nulle part. Le tout pour un prix dérisoire. La balade en bateau qu'ils organisent sur la rivière bentota et la lagune est très agréable

L'accès aux cabines n'est pas éclairé le soir et le passage peut poser problème car pas de rambarde pour y accéder.. même chose pour l'accès à la dalle de bain

Le meilleur rapport qualité/prix de notre voyage ! Rien de fancy mais juste ce qu’il faut ! Le lit est confortable, il y a une moustiquaire, salle de bain sommaire mais propre avec gel douche et shampoing à disposition ! La dame qui nous a accueilli est très gentille, les cabines sont situées au fond de leur jardin ce qui fait que vous êtes chez l’habitant mais avec de l’intimité ! A une distance raisonnable du centre ville à pied oour manger au restau. Cabine exactement comme sur la photo ! Merci beaucoup c’était top !

The hosts are very good people. Especially the really sweet lady that took her time to address all my issues in a very kind manner. She was there at any given moment. They welcomed us at a late hour and cooked us dinner. There's Wi-Fi, a fan and the place feels very private, no crowds

The location might not be perfect but it's ideal for the price I paid

Bequemes, rustikales Doppelbett, sauber, freundliche Familie, Super günstiger Preis. Schade dass der Hausherr Thush nicht anwesend war, aber er hat mich auf WhatsApp immer gut beraten. In der Umgebung dieses naturnahen Grundstücks habe ich viele interessante Tiere beobachtet: Storch, Kingfisher, Kolibri, viele andere Vögel, Streifenhörnchen, eine riesige Fledermaus = indischer Flughund...

Dieses Familiengrundstück ist schwer zu finden, weil die Eintragungen in Google.maps falsch sind. Das hat mir zu Fuß ebenso wie verschiedenen auswärtigen Taxifahrern viel Zeit und Geduld gekostet. Die Hausfrau sollte den Tisch öfters feucht abwischen.

Ein schöner, gemütlicher Ort abseits des großen Trubels. Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort mit Ruhe und Vogelgesang sehr genossen. Thush's Familie ist sehr gastfreundlich und das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die Motorradtour war außergewöhnlich. Thush fährt sehr gut und sicher. Er erklärt viel und nimmt sich Zeit. Absolute Empfehlung.

Nichts, alles top!

I loved it ! I stayed 3 nights and I would have stayed longer if I didnt have to leave. The cabin is comfy and has a shelf and a plug sock next the the bed. You also have a towel and mosquitoe net. Super green and quiet. The staff is lovely. The owner even gave me a lift to the city and showed me some places I needed ti visit. The local breakfast is delicious! Im happy with their service! =)

It's not near the beach but yet walkable distance.

Tushan is a very kind and respectful person and offers very nice and unique trips with his motorbike. I really enjoyed staying there, I felt safe and everything was so easy-going!

Really cute little cabins outside of the centre of Bentota run by a lovely family. Felt safe, would stay again.

Nothing really, especially for the cost. The only thing is that the walkways to the huts/bathroom can get slippery after heavy rain, so just be extra careful when walking!

For the price, this is an amazing stay, Quiet location in a good area. Hosts are very friendly people and quickly to respond to any questions. Facilities are good. Can be a little hard to find. Although this is only something small.

It was a nice and comfortable place with a great atmosphere inside the hostel. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. My backpack got torn, and the lady at the hostel kindly repaired it for me, which was a really big help. The food there was very delicious and homemade. There was hot water in the shower. The beds had mosquito nets, which is a great feature. The bed also had clean sheets. I arrived early in the morning and was warmly welcomed.

Wow!! This is by far my favourite place I stayed at in Sri Lanka! Everything about it is just perfect! The quiet location, the kindest hosts, the best dinner and breakfast and the super cute Cabins that are built with so much detail! I’m so sad that we only got to stay there for one night and definitely hope to be back one day! The price for staying there is so cheap I was sceptical at first and thought there must be a downside but there is not. My expectations were exceeded! It’s the perfect place for people that want to spend time on a quiet environment and in nature. The Cabin was super comfortable and everything was clean. Also, the hosts and the people in the neighbourhood were all so friendly and kind.

Nice wooden rooms with everything you need, complete privacy, and there are vouchers for really delicious meals at a good price

The hut was bigger than expected. It's possible to have food, that tastes very good, at the accommodation. Lovely, quiet location.

Thush is a great host! He couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. The two cabins are simple but very comfortable. The place is in a quiet and relaxing village environment. Very tasty Sri Lankan meals are available.

The place is a bit far from everything and tuk tuk drivers can have a hard time finding it.

I had a really nice stay at the cabin! Thush and his whole family were really friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end! As a female solo traveler, I felt very safe staying there. I also had dinner and breakfast which both was very delicious. Thush gave me a ride from the train station and even waited with me to get the right bus on my way back. I never had hosts that friendly, so I would definitely recommend to stay in the cabin or even book a longer tour with Thush on his motorbike to get a real experience off the beaten tracks 😊

Simply amazing! Best host, nice price, charming cabins, tasty food, silent place to spend a night in! HOT WATER! 💦 😀 We had a great pleasure staying here! Looking forward to coming back here one day! ❤️

Everything was perfect

Was just a one night stay for me as I was travelling through on moterbike great spot for the nite a cup of tea was brought to me as soon as I arrived friendly family

If you like it quiet and peaceful, a little bit away from the busy mainroad this is your place. The cabins are really cosy and the host family is very helpful and friendly. Very cute place!

Beautiful and very quite place

It is absolutely amazing value for such a small price. There are 2 cabins in the garden of a local family. Also, there is a beautiful bathroom with working hot water (not always the case in Sri Lanka). The family was professional, spoke good English and was always there when you needed them, however otherwise it was very private. You can order great breakfast and dinner for the lowest price I have seen in Sri Lanka and also the laundry is very affordable. It was so quiet there and just in middle of nature, I loved walking in the village. You would be staying in a beautiful and peaceful village, however the centre and beach is only 20 minutes walk away + tuk tuk is like 30 cents. The cabin was very comfortable, it had a really strong fan, good universal socket and huge bed. Also towels included. If you look for a peaceful stay at local village then this place is for you.

Nice cabins, in the middle of nature. Breakfast is amazing good! The owners and their daughter are soooo friendly. Wish I could have stayed longer. Rent a bicycle and explore around!

Loved the stay!! The place is so calm in the middle of nature, perfect for relaxation. Really clean and comfortabel, everything is really new yet cosy. I didn’t have the time, but there are also fun motorbike tours you can do with Thush.

The place was really nice, the cottages adorable, with a large bed, plug, fan, mostquito net, a towel (everything you need). Quite unbelievable for such price ! And Thush is such a nice guy, always ready to help you even when you don't even ask for it, giving very good advices for a tourist concerning where to go. Thanks again for being such a good host !

A very nice, quiet, charming place. Wooden cabins and the shade of coconut palms, lots of greenery - I highly recommend this place. An additional advantage is the possibility of purchasing meals and a motorbike ride offered by the owner. I will definitely go back there again.

Wonderful litlle family 🥰 Doing whatever to make you have a nice time, Cheap and good healthy cooking meals. Sens of respect and clean. Always happy. Thush is making motobike tours all over Sri Lanka, bring you one place, make you visit or drop you Somewhere for a few days and come back later if you want. Hé is very well educated, caring, putting Brotherhood before money, a pleasure to meet on thé way. I spent 10 wonderful days in his small but clean and insect free cabin. Thanks to you all and a spécial feeling to Sheli, Thush litlle 4 years old daughter, thé brightest child i have ever met, explaining you Life in thé best english 🥰 with Love and respect...so funny and pretty 💕 Thanks a lot .

Friendly family and host, feeling like a part of family and local person living in the village. Thush offers bike tours. Clean bathroom and place/ nice garden.

Early and also late the monks pray and you can hear it clearly. Many mosquitos.

Cute little cabanas, with all you need inside, in a calm environment. It was a nice way to be in contact with locals, and Thushan is a amazing host !
