Lo que más nos gustó fue el trato de Ruth, cercano y servicial; y el desayuno, variado, saludable y diferente cada día.

Tal vez las puertas, que chirriaban bastante, pero podría mejorarse con un poco de aceite.

A unique place. If you are looking for the special place during your vacation, this is it. Relaxing and calming, like an oasis. A perfect host. Beaches and good restaurants are close by. If we would have had more time we would have moved in for the rest of the Year… ;)

Localização e simpatia da Ruth. O pequeno almoço era excelente, destaco os sumos, todos os dias um diferente. Sigam as indicações da Ruth em relação ao acesso, apesar de ser em estrada de terra, é feito sem qualquer dificuldade.

Home away from home. Ruth was lovely, the dogs were great, the house and gardens beautiful, incredible breakfasts and the location a bit away from everywhere but close enough to some of the most stunning beaches Europe has to offer!

The road to enter is the only negative but the house and being able to disconnect in the “middle of nowhere” more than made up for it.

Una estadía maravillosa en Monte dos Papa Figos. ✨ Es el lugar perfecto para desconectar y descansar. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, limpias y cómodas, y el desayuno estuvo delicioso y muy completo. Además, la propietaria fue súper amable, atenta y pendiente de todo durante nuestra estancia, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial. Sin duda, volvería y lo recomiendo totalmente. ¡Una experiencia excelente! ❤️

A secluded and quiet retreat in the middle of the countryside with only a few rooms, managed by Ruth, a warm and welcoming lady who is one of the best host: one does not feel like a client, more like a guest. The place is homey, well kept and comfortable, there are ample spaces inside and outside to read, chat, or just listen to the birds - so many of them. A perfect place for a long weekend with enough friends to occupy the entire house. Note: two charming dalmatian dogs live there. They however are quite energetic. But Ruth knows to keep them out of the way if necessary.

I had a room that was not connected to my bathroom. But the other rooms have their bathroom en-suite.

Wunderschönes Haus mit gepflegtem Garten in ländlicher Gegend. Ruhig und erholsam. Das Frühstück war überwältigend! Es war vielseitig, unglaublich lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir haben uns mit Ruth sehr wohl gefühlt und hoffen, eines Tages wieder kommen zu können. Vielen Dank für diese schöne und erholsame Zeit. <3

We appreciated the peaceful setting, the clean and comfortable room, a most wonderful breakfast (fit for a king!), and Ruth’s gracious hospitality. Upon our request, Ruth gave us recommendations for an excellent little restaurant overlooking the ocean and a gorgeous secluded beach nearby that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The property is a bit off the beaten path which might deter some people. However it is totally worth the drive if you, like us, enjoy being in a peaceful location where you won’t be bothered by any neighbors and can actually see the stars at night.

Ruth, ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Und hat es nichts gefehlt. Für uns war die Ruhe perfekt zum Ausspannen. Tolle Strände und schöne Städtchen in der Nähe mit dem Auto zu erkunden.

El desayuno estaba preparado con mucho cariño y tenía un poco de todo. La casa era muy bonita y agradable, con caballos incluidos, y Ruth es encantadora como host. Está ubicado en un lugar en medio de la absoluta tranquilidad.

Se encuentra ubicado en un camino de tierra que puede ser algo molesto para llegar con el coche, pero es el precio a pagar para conseguir la absoluta tranquilidad.

The property is very beautiful and peaceful. Ruth (the host) is super nice and helpful. She gave us some nice recommendations of beaches in the area, and she also prepares a very good breakfast, with freshly made juice. Alfie and Mojo (the two Dalmatians) are an absolute joy. We are really looking forward to come back.

The only minus (and it’s small in comparison with the plus) is the location. To get there, you have to follow a dirt road for about 10 minutes. The road is good, but it does mean you will take at least 20 minutes to get to any beaches in the area.

La gentilezza di Ruth la fa da padrona, alloggio immerso nella campagna, colpisce la casa immersa nel verde, i profumi ed i colori che si percepiscono. Quando si arriva di notte, si viene abbagliati dalla stellata meravigliosa guardando all'insù. La colazione preparata con cura e molto buona. Complimenti!!!

Os acessos à casa têm estradas um pouco difíceis.

Ruth is very friendly- sharing her home, with very nicely and clear furnished rooms which have everything you need. Her two lovely dogs make the stay even more relaxing - enjoying the playfulness. The breakfast has everything you can ask for, and on the porch with the quietness of this area it is the perfect start in a relaxing day.

Ruth y Joao son super amables y atentos. La casa es un oasis al que se accede por un camino de tierra en buen estado. Se encuentra a 15 minutos de Zambujeira do Mar. El desayuno es excelente, así como la limpieza. Si buscas tranquilidad, es aquí.

Uma estadia muito boa! Estava tudo impecável com o quarto e o espaço era muito agradável, assim como o pequeno almoço, que todos os dias nos surpreendia pela oferta e qualidade dos produtos! A Ruth foi cinco estrelas connosco, sempre disposta a ajudar e muito simpática, uma querida. Vamos querer voltar, sem dúvida Obrigada Ruth ❤️

Es gab jeden Tag ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Für den Strand hat uns Ruth mit Handtüchern und Sonnenschirm versorgt.Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

We stayed a total of three nights.... breakfast was lovely outside on the veranda overlooking the lush green garden. A full spread of local delights! Fresh fruits, delicious yogurts, a good selection of breads for toasting, local hams & cheeses. Yummy fruit spreads for the toast. The host Ruth was very welcoming and flexible. We arrived in a rather large vehicle, parking was no problem. We extended our stay unexpectedly which was easily achieved. Ruth was an excellent host we felt at home immediately! Such a beautiful house tucked away in the countryside. However easily accessible to the local town and perhaps a 20min drive from the coast where there are some excellent seafood restaurant's which Ruth very kindly booked a table for us. We really felt at home in this property and with this host. Thank you Ruth...

Only spending three nights! I would have loved to have stayed the week and finished my book in the peace and tranquillity. Unfortunately we had to move on for business meetings.... Will defiantly return, perhaps sooner than later.

De gastvrijheid van Ruth! Je bent echt bij haar te gast en ze maakte dat we ons thuis voelden. Wij bleven 5 nachten. Heerlijk ontbijt, iedere dag net ietsje anders. Ze heeft een was gedaan voor 10 euro. Het huis heeft een mooie grote tuin. Het is een groene oase.

Je moet over een stoffige zandweg rijden om er te komen, en door de afstanden ben je wel afhankelijk van je eigen auto.

Majiteľka veľmi nápomocná, starostlivá, príjemná, ubytovanie ma charakter. Ak hľadáte ubytovanie s dušou, tak toto je pre vás. Je vidieť, že majiteľka dáva do ubytovania srdce. Bohaté raňajky na vysokej úrovni, žiadne polotovary. Ako bonus hravý psíkovia.

K ubytovaniu vedie cesta horšej kvality, taxi nás odmietlo doviesť priamo k ubytovaniu. Museli sme šlapať viac ako kilometer po vlastných. Nie je to chyba ubytovania, ale pri ubytovani treba zvážiť aj dostupnosť k nemu. Ubytovanie disponuje parkoviskom, ostatni hostia s vlastnými autami sa tam pravdepodobne dostali bez problémov. Zvážte využitie taxislužby, nakolko môže robit problémy.

Adoramos a estadia, o espaço ambiente é optimo sentimo-nos em casa. Optimo para momentos de relax e descanso. Criamos uma optima relação com a responsavel e vamos voltar com toda a família de certeza..

Já não é a primeira vez neste alojamento; regressámos porque a experiência tinha sido excelente. A Ruth é uma anfitriã fantástica, sempre disponível a ajudar e a propriciar uma estadia top. Pequeno almoço excelente, local muito sossegado mas a curta distância das belíssimas praias da região.

Peaceful rural location good bed and hot shower, beautiful farmhouse with well attended garden . Outstanding breakfast more like a lunch and we ate like a kings. Well worth the drive. Ruth was kind and attentive. What a wonderful experience . Don’t hesitate book this one .

Wunderbar in der Natur gelegenes, sehr gepflegtes und liebevoll eingerichtetes B&B. Ruth ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin, wir haben uns absolut wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war phänomenal. Auf außergewöhnliche Umstände (eintägiger kompletter Stromausfall im ganzen Land) hat Ruth souverän und super gastfreundlich reagiert, so dass wir diesen Tag trotz der eigentlich widrigen Situation sehr positiv in Erinnerung behalten werden. Danke an dieser Stelle noch mal für die wundervollen Tage, die wir hier verbringen durften und den unvergesslichen Abend bei Kerzenschein!

General appearance and the excellent taste it shows

Nothing about the property, the roads and trails surrounding are beyond their responsability, better drive very slow (about 13 minutes from the closest road), nevertheless the property did their best to easier the arrival.

We have never had such a well-cared for breakfast! Even though we were the only guests so late in the year, the breakfast table was super deliciously filled and very extensive. We tasted everything, it was more than great! The rooms are cozy and the house feels good. We could even change our room choice if we wanted, but our room was already perfect. The garden is a zone of peace, really wonderful to recharge from our day of travel! Really a small paradise, with a friendly hostess Ruth who pays attention to detail.

Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise war sehr gut und sehr freundlich. Der Empfang war wirklich großartig, es fühlte sich sofort an, als käme man zu einer Freundin. Die Umgebung, der Garten und das Haus sind wirklich einmalig charmant. Ruth ist ein unglaublich charmanter Gastgeber, sie hatte immer gute Tips, Zeit für einen kleinen Small Talk war immer, das Frühstück hat sie immer mit Liebe zum Detail gemacht. Auch gegen Rückenschmerzen hatte sie einen Geheimtipp. Ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt! Als wir uns verabschiedet haben, hatten wir das Gefühl, uns von einer Freundin zu verabschieden. Ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis!

Our stay with Ruth was one of the best experiences we’ve had. The room was incredibly comfortable, complete with a private bathroom. Ruth’s super-friendly Dalmatians added a delightful touch to our stay. She provided clear instructions on how to reach her place and advised us on the best route to avoid potholes. The area is wonderfully relaxing, offering opportunities to enjoy beaches and nature. Ruth recommended her favorite beaches and gave us helpful tips on the tides. She was very welcoming and always ready to assist, even providing excellent restaurant recommendations. And, of course, as you’ll see in all the reviews, her breakfast is magical. Her attention to detail is exceptional—something that is definitely worth more than what you’re paying for. I highly recommend visiting Ruth for a calm, amazing stay with an extraordinary breakfast.

Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Ruth anfitriã da casa. Extremamente simpática, disponível e atenta a todos os promenores. A nossa filha mais nova adora cavalos, e a Ruth tinha sempre a gentileza ao fim do dia de lhe proporcionar um momento com os cavalos. O espaço exterior está muito bem cuidado, a casa muito bem decorada. Um espaço de paz para aproveitar a natureza, com um pequeno almoço fantástico no alpendre com produtos frescos de grande qualidade, pão quentinho ,compotas, queijo fescos.... Vamos voltar com certeza!

Não marquem estadia aqui durante o festival do Sudoeste. Impossível de dormir até o festival acabar. Quarto um pouco pequeno e sem espaço para arrumação Falta luz no exterior para podermos usufruir do jardim à noite

Basicamente gostámos de tudo! A Ruth é uma anfitriã amável simpática correta e cordial, sempre atenta ao que for preciso! Tanto as suites como a sala grande, como o espaço exterior super limpo e cuidado ao requinte! Pequeno-almoço maravilhoso! Decoração maravilhosa tanto interior como exterior, casa com história! No exterior todos os espaços verdes lindos, onde só se ouve os animais, a natureza e o silêncio! O local ideal para descansar verdadeiramente e desfrutar dumas férias fabulosas e maravilhosas! Só temos a dizer bem, porque adorámos mesmo! A repetir, recomendo!

The house is beautiful and well taken care of and the room very nice and comfortable. Ruth was very helpful, she offered to book a restaurant in advance for me when I told her that I would arrive late and she was attentive and nice. The breakfast was excellent. A pity I couldn’t stay longer!

Die Gastgeberein bereitet ein exzellentes Frühstück auf dem wunderbarem Frühstücksplatz. Ein Konzert von Vogelstimmen und Düfte von Jasmin und Orangenblüten begleiten im Frühjahr den Aufenthalt in dem schönen Garten.

It was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had, excellent attention to detail; our bedroom was very spacious and clean. Great location, with lovely walks on your doorstep, plenty of outdoor seating to just laze around admiring the perfect setting of the property. Amazing beaches close by.

I loved everything about my stay from the excellent breakfast, the beautiful property and the friendly animals to the stunning surroundings. The host was fantastic and gave me some really good tips about what to in the area. I will definitely come back and can only recommend staying here.

Very nice cottage house, with a beautiful garden and lovely pets. The rooms were comfortable. The common living room was always nice to have a glass of wine in the evening and exchange travel experiences with othe guests. Ruth was very friendly, prepared a delicious breakfast and made every day beach and restaurants suggestions for us to check.

Pena que o quarto não tivesse comunicação direta com o WC ainda que isso não tenha tido influência no conforto da nossa estadia. Em estadias mais prolongadas, poderia fazer a diferença.

Uma das partes mais destacadas da minha estadia foi, sem dúvida, o incrível pequeno-almoço que me foi servido diariamente. A variedade de opções disponíveis era impressionante e o sabor dos pratos era simplesmente delicioso. A frescura dos ingredientes e a atenção aos detalhes na apresentação realmente se destacaram. Cada manhã, aguardava ansiosamente para ver as novas iguarias que me seriam oferecidas. Não só estava saboroso, mas também foi uma maneira perfeita de começar o dia.

Fantastisch, in groene omgeving gelegen, B&B. Je voelt je onmiddellijk thuis bij gastvrouw Ruth die je helemaal in de watjes legt.Iedere ochtend stond er op het terras weer een uitgebreid ontbijt klaar met heerlijke verse producten. Wij hadden een fijne ruime kamer met badkamer en suite en openslaande deuren naar de tuin met eigen zitje. Alles was super schoon en sfeervol ingericht. De sfeer in huis met Ruth en haar 2 lieve dalmatiërs (die nooit tot last waren) was gezellig en relaxed. Wij hebben van dit alles 12 dagen mogen genieten en hebben hierdoor een super vakantie gehad.

Do conceito do alojamento. Estando em férias gostaria de sentir a comodidade do local e usufruir dos espaços comuns, mas logo no primeiro dia quando regressamos após o jantar, depois das 22h30, a sala supostamente que pode ser utilizada, pelo menos até às 00h, já estava fechada e a proprietária informou que não poderíamos andar no exterior da casa, por sinal mal iluminada. Sentimos que estávamos numa prisão e no meio de nenhures. No dia seguinte decidimos mudar de alojamento, apesar de não termos direito ao reembolso. Gostaria que na descrição deste alojamento estivessem referidas as condições de utilização para quem contratar este alojamento não se sinta enganado. Os comentários são todos excelentes relativamente à limpeza e gentileza da proprietária, o que faz com que a avaliação seja elevada e influencie na hora da escolha do alojamento. O custo do quarto ( que não tinha wc no quarto, nem tv, sinal de wifi péssimo, nem mini.bar), é elevadíssimo para o que recebemos em troca. que é uma mão cheia de nada!

The host Ruth is a very special and sympathetic person and we can only recommend her with a clear conscience. Everything is thought through with love. She is respectful, open and friendly and gave us a warm welcome right away. The Breakfast was a highlight every morning with freshly squeezed juices and freshly baked bread. A host like one would wish for. We would give more than 10 points anytime. Highest recommendable. Thank you for your hospitality! This place is amazing. The house and garden were so quiet, beautiful and wonderful. It's a bit remote (and that's a plus!) but you still have access to all the necessary amenities within 10mn of car. About the place by itself, it was so good. The room and by extension the house is fantastically gorgeous. The breakfast prepared by Ruth is gigantic and excellent. Ruth herself is so lovely and always ready to help. She provided everything we needed (including umbrellas, beach towels, good restaurants and beaches advices) just by kindness. Her dogs and her cat are so cute and so friendly. It was just the best place we could have wished for relaxing vacations.

Only thing we didn't like is that we couldn't stay longer!
