Everything about this riad was amazing. Could not speak highly enough of the place, the tranquility, the staff.

La atención ha sido exquisita, nos atendió un chico, Said. Nos dio la posibilidad de organizar el transporte del aeropuerto al riad y vuelta. Habla perfectamente francés e inglés, no hemos tenido ningún problema de comunicación. El desayuno estaba listo, la mesa tapada con una tela para preservar del polvo o de cualquier pájaro (en el patio interior suelen haber pájaros que se protegen del calor ambiente.

No haber ido antes, ha sido mi primer viaje a Marruecos.

Very beautiful; room was ideal as well, having twin beds and AC; Vandross the hotel tortoise was very cute; pool nice and refreshingly cold; staff lovely; good wifi; great value and location.

The building is beautifully built and decorated, the rooms are gorgeous, the thick walls keep the rooms nice and cool and quiet. The hospitality and the breakfast were amazing! A peaceful haven. Would stay here again when I come back to Marrakesh

The mattresses are a little bit hard and the pool isn’t completely clean for swimming but nice to dip your feet in at the end of the day

The location is perfect to visit the heart of Marrakech and the riad was beautiful

The riad was absolutely wonderful, and we spent some truly lovely days there. The decoration is beautiful, with great attention to detail, and the rooms are excellent, very comfortable, elegant, and tastefully decorated. The service was truly 5-star. Said took exceptional care of our group and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was always delicious and plentiful. The location could not be better, only two minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa square, yet the riad remained peaceful and quiet at night, offering the perfect place to relax after exploring Marrakech. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Morocco.

Die Lage ist super. Vom Riad aus erreicht man alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Medina zu Fuss. Zudem ist der Ort wo einem die Taxis auf- und abladen in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Said und Hamidou sind super freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns alles Organisiert was wir uns gewünscht haben. Egal ob Restaurant, Hammam oder Exkursion.

Das Licht im Zimmer war etwas dunkel. Wir hatten tatsächlich schlechtes Wetter und haben tagsüber ein paar Stunden im Zimmer verbracht. Als Schweizer hätten wir zum Frühstück gerne zwischendurch auch mal ein paar Müesliflocken gegessen statt süsses Gebäck.

Excelente ubicación, en el corazón de la Medina y a 200 mts de la mezquita Al Katoubia. Un riad que transmite la esencia marroqui en cada ambiente. Fresca, habitaciones cómodas y una estéticas inigualable.

Fantastic location, lovely staff and really nice chilled vibe. We stayed in the triple room which is over two floors, the photos don't do it justice. Private terrace, loads of space. Very good for friends who want a bit of private space (or a couple with a child). Vandross the tortoise is an absolute star! Great breakfast and early check-in/late check-out was extremely useful. Beautiful lounge and library. Highly recommend.

Breakfast could have been more varied

Sehr liebevoll geführtes Riad direkt in Marrakech. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Zimmer sind sehr anspruchsvoll ausgestattet. Immer wieder.

It was a wonderful stay in this authentic riad. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the location is perfect.

Unfortunately, the water pressure was very weak, and sometimes there was hardly any hot water. However, this wasn’t a major issue for us. We had to pay cash.

the person who was in charge of the riad , Said, I believe was incredibly helpful and had a very calm aura around him. Always happy to help. The Riad was clean, centrally located and our room was huge. The bed was very comfortable.

This was our favorite accommodation in Morocco! It is located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech but still feels remote and quiet. The staff was very forthcoming and friendly and the rooms are spacious and offer more than enough privacy. Absolutely loved it!

The person who looked after us from before arrival until departure - Said - was excellent. 10+ out of 10

Approach to the door of the Riad and the road works on the street on the way to the Place Jemal al Fna was unsightly and dirty. But once through the door the Riad is full of character and beautiful.

Beautifully restored Riad. Swimming pool was lovely and cold and big enough to swim a few strokes across. Staff very attentive without being too over the top. Felt very safe. Coffee here was excellent and the tagine we had one evening was delicious.

Right next to the arts centre. The music was very loud most days and on Saturday was a dance off, which was so intrusive! Loud hip hop blaring out with an even louder MC. Great if that’s your thing! Breakfast was quite repetitive and could have done with a little more variety.

Située ds ruelle - non accessibles aux voitures - à 3 minutes à pieds de place JemaaElFna à hauteur de la mosquée Koutoubia, excellent repère, beau riad très calme, chambre spacieuse et literie parfaite, rooftop où prendre soleil mais pas le petit déjeuner simple et classique qui se prend au rez-de-chaussée.

La fraîcheur (novembre) lors du petit déjeuner au bord du bassin très beau du reste.

Das Riad hat eine sehr gute Lage. Man ist schnell an der Koutoubia, wo auch die Busse zum Flughafen abfahren, schnell am El Fna und in den Souks. Der Service (Said) ist trotz unseres aufgetretenen Zimmer-Problems sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich gewesen.

Das 3–Bett-Zimmer auf 2 Ebenen ist kein 3-Bett-Zimmer! Der untere Teil ist ein Schlauch ohne Fenster. Das umfunktionierte Sofa zu kurz für große Menschen. Und der Raum mit dem 2-Bett-Zimmer hat keinen Platz für die Koffer. Und die Preise zur Weihnachtszeit sind in diesem Fall überhaupt nicht gerechtfertigt. Allein das zu diesem Zimmer gehörige Bad ist sehr schön. Die Aussicht auf die Koutoubia ist sehr schön. Mein Mann und mein Sohn empfanden das Zimmer als „Reste“-Zimmer. Beide sind allerdings auch fast 2m groß und das Bewegen in dem Zimmer war nahezu unmöglich.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Top Lage in der Altstadt und trotzdem unglaublich ruhig.

I forgot the name of a guy who works there but he was very helpfull and polite. His service is on the high level, much appriciated.

We only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed the staff - someone helped us with our bags up the stairs AND woke up at 6:30am to help Bring them down. Great location on an alleyway by the main square. Beautiful riad, all the rooms are different. Nice breakfast. Air con worked well. Wifi decent.

Our stay at Riad Amirat Al Jamal made our wonderful time in Marrakech so much better. First, the location is exceptional. You are a quick 5 minute walk to the main square in markets, but you are tucked away from the noise and activity. Second, the riad is gorgeous and very well looked after. Third, the staff were wonderful. From cooking breakfast everyday (we were there for a week) to making recommendations where to go, to answering many daily questions, we were well looked after from start to finish.

The only tiny complaint was the mattress (futon style) was quite firm. We didn't say anything to the staff so no reflection on them at all.

A beautiful relaxing and peaceful Riad near the heart of the Medina. We had a really lovely stay and were made very welcome. We arrived very late in the evening, we had pre booked food ahead of arriving and were greeted by a delicious homemade 3 course meal which was very much appreciated. The location is perfect, close to the Medina in a very authentic quiet back street, the property has wonderful views from the roof terrace. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the property is very quiet and relaxing. One of our party required a doctor during our stay and the staff who were wonderful throughout organised a doctor to visit very quickly. I highly recommend this property.

Location was excellent, very central to busy areas. The Riad was clean and tidy, well presented and full of character. Roof terrace was great and to have a pool was a nice bonus. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Late check out was not a problem. Trip organising was seemless. Randolf did an excellent job as a guard :-)

A bit more variety in the Breakfast serving would have been better, coffee was excellent.

Everything was perfect and beautiful. The Riad was comfortable, beautifully decorated, peaceful. The background music and the water wanted you to spend more time here. Above all the people were superb. Mr. Sayid was knowledgeable, kind and attentive. He shared some mint tea and cookies with us. Brought us and took us to the taxi. I would recommend arranging the airport shuttle with them. Also breakfast was delicious and plenty of. Peaceful and relaxing stay. At the same time very very close to the center of the Medina.

Un magnifique riad idéalement situé au cœur de Marrakech. Un service attentif et serviable.

Manque de confort sur la terrasse, petit déjeuner continental au lieu d'être marocain (manque de fruits et de pâtisseries orientales).

A lovely riad decorated in a more traditional style. The room was huge. The small pool in the courtyard was welcome refreshment and clean, plus the guys running the riad are discreet to let you bathe without them hanging around. The roof terrace is a nice relaxed spot and you can take your own bottle of wine up to enjoy the views and peace.

The bathroom had an occasional drainage smell (improved slightly with closing toiket lid) and the shower is slow draining, but we found this all over Morocco so it's not a big deal.

The Riad was so traditional. Only short walk from Square but exceptionally quiet. Roof top terrace and indoor plunge pool v.good. Relaxing Riad. Our hosts, Samir & Hamidou were very accommodating and couldn't do more for you.

Amazing staff so helpful and kind

Ma chambre était parfaite. Le personnelle est très gentille. Le petit déjeuner est servit rapidement, pas d’attente comme dans la plus part des riads. J’ai beaucoup aimé ce riad. .

Que el pago fuera allí, en metálico y con cambio desfavorable, a lo que hay que añadir comisiones de cajeros. 380€ se convierten en 420€.

Pas d’observation sur l’établissement, juste une signalétique absence pour retrouver le lieu .

Très bon petit déjeuner. Jus de fruits. Pains variés. Fruits. Viennoiseries différentes chaque jour. La situation à deux pas de la place Jemaa El Fna. Le calme du Riad. L'hôte était parfait. Il a été accueillant lors de notre arrivée. Discret mais disponible à tout moment tout au long de notre séjour.

Tout était parfait.

Il riad è perfetto, posizione centralissima ma interno quindi molto tranquillo, non si sente nulla della piazza. E' gestito benissimo, camera di grandi dimensioni come il bagno, il tutto pulito e profumato. La colazione è ottima e abbondante e c'è completa disponibilità per ogni richiesta, nel nostro caso abbiamo richiesto il transfer da e per l'aeroporto che è stato organizzato perfettamente con mezzi puliti e personale super paziente visto il ritardo dell'andata di ben quattro ore. Davvero un posto che consiglio.

Midgets in the bedding. And lot of dust from the wooden ceiling constantly falling down on to clothes and bedding mainly due to the it being a wooden room.

Located close to the big market place but just 300m away in a small and calm street of the medina. We had a super friendly welcome at this Riad with Marrician tea served, although we were too early to check in the room. We were allowed to let our luggage there, so we could already go to discover Marrakech. Same for our late departure. The room and bathroom is clean and cosy in Marrocian style. The bed is super comfortable. For breakfast we were spoiled as well with different kind of bread, fresh orange juice, fruits, joghurts and egg. Perfect!

We loved the location, close to so much without being noisy. There were so many lovely old Moroccan features in the Riad, especially the front door! Delicious breakfast and really friendly helpful staff too.

Nothing - it's a Riad, not a modern hotel and that's why we chose it!

The staff were amazing and very helpful. There is a roof terrace that you can enjoy and a cool dipping pool. It is centrally located perfeclty. There is Air Con but due to the design of these authentic Moroccon properties it remains cool anyway. Its an awesome venue

Nothing to dislike

This hidden gem of a Riad, is situated just off the busy square. Once inside, the quiet, tranquil setting of this Riad would have you believe you were outside the city. Its location is perfect for exploring old Marrakesh, with unlimited amount of great restaurants and markets galore all around you. Staff here were amazing. Always on hand to help and advise. Breakfast was laid every morning with fresh OJ, coffee and tea, local breads, fruit, yogurts, eggs and cheese. A great start to the day. The roof top terrace was the perfect setting to sip a G&T whilst watching the sunset. NB take your own alcohol as it’s a dry hotel. Soft drinks, ice etc are available in the Riad. I’d like to say a huge thank you for the beautiful roses left in my room on my birthday. A superb touch to a fantastic stay. Highly recommend.
