Marta House gili air

Marta’s house has been our wonderful refuge while we explored this amazing island. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, especially with organising a few logistical details for us. The place was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and everything smelled fresh and lovely. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. We would definitely recommend Marta’s house and would happily stay here again!

The perfect stay, i was sad to leave. Cosy, clean, great location. The owner is very helpful & kind. The bed was comfier than my own at home! I loved the little touches like the beach bag, sarong, free snorkels. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Außergewöhnlich gute Ausstattung, total liebe und hilfreiche Gastgeberin, Lage ruhig und abseits vom Trubel, aber trotzdem super zentral und nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zum Schildkröten Point.

Un séjour parfait 🌴 Un logement idéalement situé pour profiter pleinement de Gili Air, avec Deli la propriétaire absolument adorable et aux petits soins. Tout est pensé dans les moindres détails : du paréo aux boules Quies, rien ne manque ! Mention spéciale au Legend Bar, le bar de plage tenu par son mari : un endroit incontournable, avec de délicieux cocktails 🍹 et de très bons repas, le tout les pieds dans le sable. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés pour un séjour à Gili Air ! 🥰

Literie très confortable et emplacement au calme, très bien situé (proche de la meilleure zone de snorkeling de l’île). Des masques, tubas et palmes sont mis à disposition gratuitement. Le chat (Abang) a monté la garde lorsque nous nous absentions du logement, c’est un plus non négligeable 😁

This place is really well located. The bed is super comfy. Everything included in the room made it a super great stay. It really has everything you need to settle in and have the best stay. Free snorkels were the best, i just went 5 minutes down the road and swam with turtles everyday which was incredible. Its so quiet at night which is amazing. I tried to stay longer but it was booked out. Highly recommend

This is a family homestay. So nice feeling at home rather than being in a hotel. Justin and Deli are both really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our birthday cheesecake surprise was especially thoughtful. Only two rooms so there aren't a mllion other guests in the place either. Very conveniently located in the central village area but down a little lane off the main road. Loved it.

Beautiful room, amazing bed, everything is prepared with the utmost care. The hostess is beyond nice and super helpful, I totally recommend!

Clean, comfortable, homey & complete amenities. I've been to many guesthouses in Indonesia and this is definitely the most complete one I've been to. Here's where they went the extra miles for me: there were beach towels, a big woven beach bag that I can take, glass water bottles (sustainable!) & glasses inside both the bedroom & bathroom. I almost missed my stay here because me & my husband fell sick right before we were supposed to board the boat, but Marta House kindly helped us rescheduled our stay, we really appreciate it as it's super last minute. Marta's location is so close to the turtle point, I snorkelled and saw 6 turtles within the first 5 minutes. I love everything about Marta House and will definitely be coming back!

The perfect home stay on Gili Air. Located towards the north side and an easy walk or bike ride from anywhere you wanted to go on the island. The home stay is in a quiet location off the road and is accessed via a small ally, past local family homes. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The garden small and well looked after. There are many warungs and great places to eat nearby. Deli, Justin and Abang were the perfect hosts. Helpful, friendly, offered useful advice and good conversation. They were very quick to respond to a problem that I had created myself (locked the safe without checking first). It was a pleasure to spend my week on Gili Air here.

My only desire is that Abang the cat can forgive me after I accidentally stepped on him in the dark. (I think he did but may not forgive me for leaving.)

정말 너무 좋은 곳이에요! 벌써 또 머물고 싶습니다. 길리 아이르에 온다면 또 여기에 올거에요. 사진으로 느껴지지 않는 세심한 배려들이 있고, 실용적입니다. 실제로 생활하기에 매우 편리합니다. <집자체> 1. 푹신푹신한 침대/깨끗한 침구 베개. 침대 매트리스가 넘 좋아요. 2. 작은냉장고가 있어서 음료수/맥주 보관하기 편해요. 3. 커피포트/식기들이 매우 깨끗함 4.수납 공간과 선반이 많아서 짐 풀어 놓기 좋고 옷걸이 많음 5. 에어컨(삼성) 짱시원함/ 바깥테라스에는 선풍기 있어서 시원함. 6. 바다에서 놀고 들어올때 모래 관리가 쉬움. 집들어가기전에 개인 수도가 있어서 발 씻을 수 있음. 모래 털고 들어갈 수 있게 매트가 여러개..(센스 짱) 7. 콘센트 여러개. 멀티탭도 있음. 8. 공용 주방이 있는 데, 작지만 간단한 요리 가능함. 깨끗하게 관리됨. 9. 정수기가 있어서 물걱정이 없음. 10. 샤워 따뜻한 물 나옴 11. 정원은 사진보다 훨씬 예쁨. <위치> 비다 가까운 쪽의 동네에 위치함. 동네사람들이랑 인사할 수 있음. 같은 골목에 피자 맛집있음.(Puglia Mia Pizzeria) 빨래해주는 곳도 바로 옆이고, 나시짬뿌르집은 바로 앞에 있음. 바다까지 스노클링하러 3-5분쯤 걸어가면됨 걸어가는 그곳이 바로 gili air에서 가장 예쁜 코랄과 거북이 나오는 곳임 (Kaluku 앞쪽) 헬스장 3분거리. Gili Air 섬 안쪽에 있는 local 와룽들까지는 5-10분 정도 걸림. 항구까지는 걸어가면 15분 걸림 바다가 보이는 숙소로 옮겨볼까도 고민했으나, 스노클링하러 나가기 충분히 걸을만 하고, 집이 너무 좋아서 그대로 있었음. 집 주인 두분도 매우 친절하시고 따뜻한 분들임. 관리하는 직원들도 따로 있어서 정원관리와 정원 청소계속 해주시고 매우 친절하심. 고양이가 있는 데 매우 시크함. 덕분에 너무 재밌었어요 감사합니다.

Die Unterkunft liegt in guter, zentraler Lage in einem Hinterhaus mit schönem Garten. Die Lage ist dadurch ruhig und ein wenig abseits des Trubels.

Die Gastgeberin ist herzlich, jederzeit erreichbar und möchte einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich gestalten. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber.

Tout était parfait. La chambre est grande, très propre, le lit est très confortable et tout le nécessaire est proposé. Les jolies plages ne sont vraiment pas loin, environ 5/10 minutes à pied. Ils mettent également des masques et tube à disposition.

Cosy, jolie décoration, très propre, au calme. Les hôtes sont très prévenants et très gentils.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Martha House. Das Zimmer ist außergewöhnlich schön und die Lage ist sehr schön, da es nicht direkt auf der Hauptstraße ist. Man kann sehr schnell tu diversen Restaurants, Shops und Stränden laufen. Insgesamt ist das Martha House zu 100% zu empfehlen.

Il mio fidanzato ed io abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole in questa casa vacanze. L’ambiente è accogliente, pulitissimo e curato con grande attenzione ai dettagli. Fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentiti accolti: all’interno c’era tutto il necessario per stare bene, compresi teli mare e persino una borsa per la spiaggia — un gesto semplice ma molto apprezzato. Anche gli spazi esterni sono pensati con praticità: comodissima la fontanella appena fuori dalla stanza per sciacquarsi i piedi dalla sabbia prima di rientrare. La posizione è davvero strategica, perfetta per raggiungere in pochi minuti tutte le zone principali dell’isola. Insomma, una sistemazione perfetta per chi cerca comfort, pulizia e un’accoglienza genuina. Ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa. Grazie!

Exceptionally friendly host and employees - Deli was super awesome and helped us with a surprise welcome gift on our first night there, she also made herself fully available for any help and questions he needed. All of her boys were super friendly in case we needed anything as well. Free snorkelling gear to borrow at the apartment. Room was clean, amenities were as expected, overall just a great place to stay on Gili Air. If you're there, make sure to say hello to Abang as well.

Wunderbare Unterkunft! Die Lage ist perfekt, man kann alles fußläufig erreichen. Es war sehr sauber und top ausgestattet sogar mit Strandtüchern, Strandtasche und kostenlosem Schnorchelequipment. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns gute Tipps zu Restaurants etc gegeben. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.

Unser Aufenthalt im Marta House war großartig! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr gastfreundlich begrüßt und wir erhielten viele hilfreiche Tipps. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es wurde an alles gedacht. Tolle Extras sind die kostenlose Schnorchelausrüstung zum leihen und der Trinkwasserspender. Deli (die Gastgeberin) ist eine sehr liebevolle Person, die uns einen wirklich angenehmen Aufenthalt beschert hat. Sie war sehr bemüht und aufmerksam. Ich kann es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Marta house is a little paradise in a wonderful island. The place is clean and comfortable. The hosts are really cute and nice (they always dropped us some messages with candies). I would recommend this place to anyone !

Wunderschönes Häuschen mitten auf Gili Air. Super gelegen etwas weg vom Rummel. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, erhielten viele Tips und alles war perfekt. Einfach zu empfehlen

Deli was super nice and welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed. Same goes for the staff. You can find everything from snorkeling equipment to beach towels. It is a Little less than 20 minutes from the Port but only 7 minutes to turtle point (make sure to Look for the sign). The atmosphere at Legend Bar (which also belongs to the Same owner) during sunset is also very nice. Make sure to pet Abang the cat who is super cuddly and Sweet. Would definitely recommend!

Comfy bed, soft towels, all in all very good stay and very close to the beach to go snorkeling and see sea turtles! Everytime I went snorkeling I saw a turtle, however be aware of the tides. The people who own the place are very helpful and trying to make you have the best experience, very lovely. And everywhere are cats, which is great.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The bubgalow was so spacious and comfortable, very cozy and super clean. We felt right at home especially also becauee Deli was so sweet and welcoming! Highly recommend staying here and also enjoying a meal at their Legend Bar. Try the whiskey ginger it's so good!

The owners Deli & her husband Justin are the best! Very attentive in making sure we were comfortable.

Marta House is nestled in a space of two bungalows attached to each other. You have to walk along an alley and it is close to the locals' homes. The third bungalow serves as reception. The vegetation is pleasant and lush. The balcony is wide and well protected from the rain with double roofs and plants. Two cats live on the grounds. Two comfortable armchairs and lighting on the balcony. The bathroom seems new, it is clean and smells good. The room was fairly clean but the moldings and wall edges clearly need cleaning.The host responds quickly to messages and she was at the port when we arrived. Her team carried our luggage to the guest House. Thank you! The lack of tables and chairs. I had to go to a cafe for my daughter to do her homework. The kitchen area was started but not finished, and there's no breakfast, so you always have to go outside to eat (expensive). The value for money during the season we stayed. I was able to find a well-rated resort bungalow on Booking.com with two pools and breakfast for a lower price per night.

Excellent place. Feels like at friend’s place. Everything was perfect. Freshly renovated all equipments are new and confortable. Would come back anytime.

Room is very new, clean and nice. There are lot of details like: fresh water, mosquito repelent, toiletries, emergency light, umbrella, kettle tee and coffee, fridge, hairdryer. The staff is really nice, Deli gave me many recommendations about restaurants and things to do in the island. The location is a very very quiet area, close to West and North beach.

The only thing I didn’t like is that you only have hot water during 5 minutes aprox and then it finished. In addition, there are no curtains or shower screen, so the bathroom flood get wet when you shower.

I liked my stay in Marta house alot. The owner Deli is such a beautiful, loving and good person who helped me go through my difficult life situation. She also gave me the best advice about where to go , what to do on the Island. The place is a oasis in the centre of Gili Air with private garden, lovely cats and surrounded by local people and their life. With the bike you are in 3 minutes by the beach and in 5 min in the centre on the main street and harbour. Thank you Deli for everything. I will never forget 🙏❤️🌈

Our stay at Marta’s House was very comfortable! We missed nothing and Deli was always helpful! I would book this place again next time!

Everything was perfect and even better. Deli and Justin are great people and it was really nice to meet them. It really felt like home here. House was clean and it had everything. We also received some really helpful tips and contacts from Deli and overall we really enjoyed every second there.

The owner is incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything you might need. She’ll give you tips on where to book excursions to avoid paying tourist prices. She even left us thoughtful notes wishing us a great stay, along with some cookies in the room.

Very good location and so convenient and accessible to the best sunset spot on Gili Air ——- The Legend Bar. Room is cozy and comfortable for the staying. Host is super friendly and warm.

I am so glad we chose this for our stay. Everything about it was perfect - the checkin was smooth with a cute cat to greet us at the door, and its a brand new property that has been maintained very well. It’s located in the center of the island, so you are just 10 minutes away from beaches on all sides. The room has all the amenities and everything was extremely clean! The mattress and pillows were spotless and extremely comfortable. The services were the highlight - our room was decorated without any requests, and the hostess Deli is always there to help you - day or night. They also have their own bar by the name Legends Bar - it’s a must visit too. Highly recommended!

The hosts, Deli and Justin, go well above and beyond to help you out with anything you need. I really cannot recommend it enough! They also run a great bar on the island to which you have access to all the facilities - it makes it incredible value. The rooms are so well equipped and well designed. They include lots of little things in the room like big sprays, tea coffee etc that make a big difference. Bed was extremely comfortable. The best stay experience I’ve had for a while. Wish I could have stayed longer. If you’re reading this, just book it!

Lovely place and lovely hosts. The hosts also own Legend Bar and they were the perfect hosts at both locations. Highly recommend staying here.

Needs a pool, but they say that’s coming soon.

The room looks very sweet and very think is new. The little homes are bit sneaky behind some other lokal houses and there is a sweet garden where sometimes some cats or chickens gonna walk by. :) The beach and some good restaurants are next door. Marta little home is new and the owners are open to at some missing things.

On Booking we could choose a free bike rent but the owner told us that they don’t have bikes. He organized us bikes but there wasn’t for free. The breakfast comprised not everything on the card but was still delicious.

Anto was a wonderful host and Little House is modern and beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble and our stay was very comfortable. See you next time we are on Gili Air.

There was nothing that I did not like during by too short a stay,I only had one night and I wish that I had more time at Little House.

Brand new homestay in the quiet northern part of the island, well away from the noise of the village and mosque. Everything is brand new and super comfortable. 5 minutes walk from the beach and only minutes from cafes and restaurants. Super friendly and kind owner. Delicious breakfast and great value for money.

No pool, but I wouldn't expect that in this price range.
