Quite and peaceful
Nothing
Very gentle People. Extremly quiet and relaxing.
Lovely, clean spaces, Ros is a wonderful host who gave us lots of privacy but was also welcoming and inviting, the perfect balance. The house is a real treat, we loved all the beautiful art and being able to walk to the beach.
Lovely room in a beautiful property and garden. Very relaxing
Would have been good to have a key to come and go. Was told not needed as someone would be home always but Door was accidentally locked and I had to wait a while as no one was home. A minor nuisance in the end.
The location with the sea a few hundred metres in one direction and vineyards behind. The hostess gave me a warm welcome, was kind and considerate. The cat was very amusing!
Nothing, it could not have been better.
Very friendly host. Nice house in a very quite neighborhood. Very close to Gannet tour.
It was very comfy, clean, and beautiful. Ros was welcoming and engaging. There were lovely spaces where we could relax in the sunshine - out of the cold wind.
It was difficult to access information on it through Booking.com.
Beds were comfortable, had amazing sleeps. While we stayed Ros kept to herself. Big house
Atmosphere and friendly neighbourhood. Ros’s hospitality is exceptional. We went for my son’s Hawke’s bay cricket matches. I can highly recommend this place for a family who are looking for a stay during the cricket tournament at Hawke’s bay.
The stay with Ros was so fabulous. The room was really clean and cosy, the whole house was stunning and the back deck was our favourite place to hang out. It was in a great location only 20/30 minutes from Hastings or Napier and we loved our stay here.
Nothing it had everything you need.
Ros is an amazing host and her place is spacious calm and peaceful. Very clean all facilities were perfect for a family. We spent Xmas and new years here before our trip and the surf and wineries and tours are all close by. Ros is a very helpful and charming host. We will be back for a relaxing surf soon!

Beautiful and peaceful house. So lovely to be able to borrow bikes from the property as a perfect location for cycling the vineyards.
Nothing!
Clean, comfortable and convenient to access.
I had no problems with the property.
Host Ros was excellent
Nothing all was great
Excellent location. My host displayed great discretion whilst making sure everything was fine. And then was there for a great chat in the evening ;-)
Staying in the property with Ros was awesome. In the heat of the Hawkes Bay the deck under trees with a sea breeze was very welcome. Ros is a gracious host in this share property and added to our dinner from her amazing garden. This is a share property as advertised so if you do not want to interact and have great chats with Ros then this is not for you. I can only but recommend staying the amazing Te Awanga and hanging out with Ros.
Location was good.
It was a beautiful setting, quiet and very spacious and comfortable
The host, Ros, is such a great host - welcoming and you can tell she genuinely loves meeting new people. The house is beautiful and 10/10 for how clean it was. Very comfy beds. Lovely bathroom with shower and bath, and a very nice big shared kitchen. The Beach is just 5 mins walk away. Great holiday spot and would love to stay again.
It is a very good deal, especially for someone one want a relax environment for meditation, you can't over look this. Very spacious living area, kitchen, living room and the bathroom all double than I initial thought. The host Ros is a very nice lady, she chat and shared food with the tenants. The house has a lot of artworks pictures and gallery which make the environment very comfortable. The fireplace is exceptionally warm, and keep me comfort at the winter time.
This maybe only to do with the little room I am staying in. I think if I can access to light switch from the bed that would be a lot convenient. Taking some time to learn the ideal setting for the heater to prevent getting too hot. A fry pan and kitchen towel roll at kitchen would be a bonus. If there are more power plugs in the room that will be great, I normally do bring my own power adaptor but forgot in this journey, by saying this, there are plenty of power plugs outside the bedroom which I am staying.
Magnificent and gracious host. Very private and comfortable. Spacious and exceptionally clean.
The property was big and lovely with beautiful decor. If you are after a home visit style stay, you will like it.
It's not private or self-contained like we were expecting. The home owner was nice but we weren't expecting to share spaces. Going back to the original listing I think we could have figured it out if we had of looked into it further, I do think it's a bit misleading though. If you want a private getaway, like we did, this is not the place for you.
The place was really lovely and we appreciate that we could bring our dog . The host was so welcoming .
We didn’t realise that the accomodation wasn’t self contained and that we shared the living space with the host . But it wasn’t a problem as we made to feel welcome in her home and given plenty of privacy 😊
Really homely and very clean and relaxed. Great host.
Nothing to dislike really, other than we had to share a bathroom but it wasn’t a problem at all.
