Friendly owner met me onsite and ensured everything was ok for me.
Couldn’t stay longer
The bonus to this cottage was its big paddock with clear dark skies all around, perfect for stargazing. Being lulled to sleep by the waves was delightful. This would be a great longer getaway spot, moments away from wineries. Everything provided for breakfast - yoghurt, muesli, spreads, coffee, tea.
We searched YouTube for instructions on the barista-level coffee maker. It was a challenge for us.
Complimentary breakfast provided and a bottle of wine from the winery. Well set up with everything you could ever need and homely, beautiful toiletries. Amazing setting nestled into the winery, short stroll to the restaurant for lunch which was delicious and a view of the ocean from the deck. Great hosts who go out of their way to make your stay perfect.
Warm welcome, homely, very comfortable, everything you could possibly need & beautifully put together - heaven. Fabulous hosts & great location too.
Having to leave!!

Nice location @ the vineyard Clearview estate. Very nice to have a proper coffee machine, with bacon & eggs, fresh milk & cheese and lots more in the fridge to enjoy in the lovely living room. Just nice and cosy. Thanks for lovely and welcoming touches, Kirstin.
The host thought of everything and was so thoughtful from providing breakfast supplies to arranging a wine tour. It was fantastic!

Friendly and comfortable stay
Wonderful cottage! So nicely decorated and clean. Kirsten left us breakfast food and we got a bottle of wine that Tim makes. She was so wonderful when I told her our son was with us and set up their caravan for him with a big bed vs the sofa bed. Worked out very well. We really enjoyed the free wine tasting with Tim! Nice to have A/C because it was a bit warm. Great location for Cape Kidnappers golf and Gannet tour. Easy to visit Napier as well.

Proximity to beach, vineyard, and coffee shop. Very clean, easy to relax in. There were books and magazine to read. A pleasant surprise was the breakfast provided and plenary of good coffee.
Google maps added to the adventure to find the place - better to follow the owners directions
Beautiful place. Great location
Bit overpriced
What a beautiful find. An entire cottage that was equipped with food, wine and everything we needed for a wonderful visit to Te Awanga and Hawkes Bay. We arrived later than expected, followed the instructions for the keys and settled in after a day's driving. The sunset over the vines and the bay when we arrived was breathtaking. Kirsten and Tim called in to ensure we were comfortable and offered us a wine tasting at Clearview, the winery next door. We also had a gift of a bottle of Topsy Turvey Syrah, which was delicious. The bed was so cosy with the plumpest doona! There were also cooking magazines to utilise the kitchen and try out recipes with the local produce - I loved that. Excellent lamb, rich cheeses and outstanding wines. Who could ask for more?
Could not fault the property. Kirsten runs a hairdressing business next door for a trim if needed.
Excellent location, very we equipped and an attentive, helpful and friendly host. Breakfast foods provided was a surprising bonus. would recommend.
Nothing.
Great hosts! Tim and Kristen were so sweet. They stocked the fridge for us too. Comfy bed. Easy walk up to vineyards. Hope to come again soon.
An excellent welcome pack provided. Tim and Kirsten went out of their way to make us welcome. The cottage was well equipped and homely

Everything… we loved the layout, the small touches, the venue. I have stayed in many Holiday Homes/batches and this one you could really feel the effort & aroha the host had put into the property to make you feel at home - the epitome of manaakitanga!

Lovely set up and location, decor is super cool, the breakfast foods available were well above expectations, it was great. Also all the bathroom products were 10/10 and smelled amazing!
Couch fold out could use a padded mattress protector - it’s just a little pokey with the springs.
Relaxing short stay
Some road noise in the early morning
Clean, comfortable across the road from the beach.
When we saw how much one night was to cost we were in two minds but decided to treat ourselves because we would be just down the road from a family booking. What a great decision! It was a nice open location set across from the beach and in a large section. So much thought was put into embellishing what was already a lovely cottage. A welcome bottle of wine and food for breakfast was such a lovely touch. Totally value for money!
Not a thing!
We loved the Tim & Kirsten‘s little cottage. It was super well equipped with everything that you need. Kirsten even put some food for us in the fridge - she was absolutely the best. Tim owns the winery in the back of the cottage. We had the best tour of the property and an excellent wine tasting session with the man himself. We can only recommend staying at this lovely place.
Brand new, quiet off-road, top notch appliances and deco.
Zero.
Kirsten and Tim are very friendly and welcoming hosts. We loved all the little touches (wine, breakfast, branded shampoo for our hair...). The house is very well equipped and laid out, modern with all the necessary comforts. We appreciated the fact that our teenage daughter could sleep outside in a caravan or with us on an extra bed. Thank you Kirsten and Tim, we'll definitely be back.
The beds were a little hard for us and the internet connection very unstable.
