De flexibiliteit en de locatie. Op verzoek een kamer gekregen met 2 bedden ipv 1 groot bed. Erg prettig dat dit gelijk omgeboekt kon worden. De locatie is fantastisch. Prachtig uitzicht over Little Adems Peak. Zoveel dieren in directe omgeving zoals aapjes , eekhoorns en diverse mooie vogels. Ook de eigenaar en medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk.

Eigenlijk niets. Het is niet het meest moderne verblijf dus verwacht geen luxe. Voor ons dikke prima omdat je er alleen maar slaapt. Met tuktuk zo in Ella.

Location is phenomenal! And easy access to the Ella town by the hotel, very peaceful ones you tired after long day guaranteed you have a good and comfortable sleep!

Un emplacement au calme sur les hauteurs de Ella avec une vue incroyable, des chambres propres et confortables et un personnel très serviable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, frais et copieux. A peine 10 min à pieds du centre ville. Je recommande vivement.

Ongelofelijk zicht op Ella Rock en Little Adams Peak. Vanop je eigen ruime balkon is het volop genieten van de omgeving en de natuurpracht. Leuk ingedeeld, goed onderhouden verblijf. Supervriendelijk personeel. Zeer uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt! Warme, krachtige douche. Goede uitvalsbasis voor verschillende wandelingen.

Het bed was wat klein (te kort).

Superbe ! Nous avons bénéficié d’une chambre avec une vue incroyable sur les montagnes et la vallée. Le fait d’être un peu excentré de la ville (qui reste à 5min en tuktuk) était un +, car l’endroit était plus paisible. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Le lieu est situé à proximité des lieux cultes (Nine arches bridge, little adam’s peak et ravana falls). Le petit déjeuner était excellent (surement notre meilleur petit déjeuner des vacances) et très copieux ! Le personnel était accueillant 🤗 Nous recommandons !

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist etwas außerhalb von Ella, deshalb ist es sehr ruhig und entspannt, aber man läuft trotzdem nur 15 min bis ins Zentrum. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist einfach eine 10/10. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Außerdem ist das Frühstück sehr lecker und üppig und man kann es mit der traumhaften Aussicht von der Dachterrasse genießen.

The view was stunning, staff were friendly, shower was powerful, breakfast was fantastic.

Nice location, perfect sunrise view to Ella mountain and Little Adam peak, view to waterfall and railroad far away. Restaurant open veranda in top floor, good breakfast. You will be happy to recognise your hotel building while climbing Little Adam. Close to the station, close to waterfall (walk distance both). Absolutely must to return

The view is amazing. The room was quite large. Staff will provide assistance if asked. Decent breakfast with small variations from day to day. Staff helped with luggage to rooms and up the hill to the van. There are restaurants nearby.

The location is quite remote, there is no food or grocery delivery available. Tuktuks are very expensive (5000-12000) from the hotel and you can rarely find them on the apps. No AC, no bug nets. It gets really hot and you have to stay with your windows closed if you don't want a bug swarm in your room. The laundry service is a bit of a scam since it was 600 LKR per kg, we were told we washed 5 kg but got taxed for 10(I dont even think there were 5 kg since we only had 2 small bags of clothes) the next day at the reception. These are higher prices than western prices, plus the washing was quite low quality, no fabric softner, no ironing, they just came wrinkled and smelling like nothing.

Das Hotel hat die perfekte Lage. Man ist nicht an der hauptstraße, ruhige Lage,. Der Blick vom Zimmer ist unschlagbar. Man sieht den Wasserfall und hat einen atemberaubenden Blick ins Tal. Von der Unterkunft kommt ihr super zum ella rock und in die stadt. Tipp geht auf den gleisen das geht deutlich schneller als durch die Berge. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich nett. Man hat uns geholfen, zugtickets zu buchen. Das Frühstück war toll. Es war abwechslungsreich. Wir mochten das sri lankische Frühstück mit coconut sambol, Sri, Lanka Pancake, Eiern, Dhal. Wir haben unsere Wäsche über die Unterkunft gewaschen. Das Internet war super. Falls ihr Essen geht, empfehle ich euch. Ella Savory Havens Restaurant. Das Restaurant ist direkt um die Ecke, es ist super lecker, ein tolles preis-leistungs Verhältnis, und ein toller Blick.

Unser Bad war leider völlig verschimmelt. Schwarzer Schimmel an der Decke und den Wänden. Es ist sehr schwierig diese Unterkunft zu bewerten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt extrem genossen und alles war toll. Eigentlich eine zehn von zehn. Aber der Schimmel war natürlich schrecklich. Ich rate dem Eigentümer hier Vorzugehen.

Zentrale Lage, nettes Personal und leckeres Frühstück!

Traumhafter Blick aus dem Fenster/vom Balkon auf Ella Rock, Little Adams Peak, einen Wasserfall und die Ella Gap. Frühstück war auch super, große Auswahl, alles frisch, leckerer Tee. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, die bei Fragen direkt da sind, antworten, erreichbar sind.

Leider war das Zimmer relativ undicht, sodass abends so einige Insekten im Zimmer waren, tagsüber war das aber gar kein Problem.

Die Dusche war warm. Das sri-lankische Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker, die Aussicht unschlagbar. Der Sonnenaufgang über den Bergen, die Naturgeräusche, die Tiere… eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Lage außerhalb der Stadt mit entsprechender Aussicht war für uns genau richtig. Man kann von dort aus zu Fuß oder mit Gepäck per TukTuk wunderbar alles erreichen. Das Zimmer hatte einen Wasserkocher, sodass wir uns zwischendurch Tee/Kaffee zubereiten konnten.

Only small negative ...abit of mould smell in our room

This mountain view hotel is in an amazing location. Friendly owner and staff. Breakfast was the best in all of our stay in Sri Lanker . Balcony view was out of this world . You can walk down to Ella and the train station through the winding back road steps ... but they are steep and over 200 of them , then along the train track which is safe by the way , not as you would do this in uk . Plenty of tuk tuks to get you back up the hill the road way , which i would consider not safe to walk in places. Away from the hussle and bussle of Ella it's a true gem .

La vue était magnifique, le dejeuner était excellent et meme il a été notre meilleur dejeuner Sri Lnakais comparativement a tous nos autres hôtels que nous avons héberger. Le personnel était gentil et a son affaire.

Il y avait beaucoup de moustiques la nuit. Notre porte de balcon ne fermait pas bien et il y avait une grande espace pour que les moustique entre la nuit. J'en ai meme eu dans mon pyjamas. Mais je comprends que je suis dans un endroit avec beaucoup de moustique

Koupelna byla naprosto hrozná, sprchový kout plesnivý, odpad otevřený plný špíny a zapáchal. Voda tekla pouze vlažná a to jen ve sprše v umyvadle pouze studená. Nábytek opotřebovaný, stěny vlhké a loupe se omítka. Nedoporučuji toto ubytování.

Das Personal war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück war jeden Tag mehr als ausreichend und liebevoll hergerichtet. Der Ausblick vom Zimmerbalkon und dem Frühstücksbereich war traumhaft! Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb vom Ella, sie ist dadurch sehr ruhig und bietet tolle Ausblicke. Über die Unterkunft wurden uns Fahrer organisiert.

Es gab leichten Schimmel im Zimmer und im Badezimmer. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr abgewohnt. Im Zimmer gibt es dreckig wirkenden Fußbodenteppiche, auch die Bettlaken wirken sehr alt und hatten Stellenweise kleine Löcher.

La location più bella del nostro viaggio qui in Sri Lanka. Camera con vista mozzafiato, staff gentilissimo e super disponibile, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni tua richiesta, colazione veramente abbondante e di ottima qualità. Impeccabile. Abbiamo trascorso solo una notte lì e ci siamo pentiti di essere rimasti per più giorni. Straconsiglio!!!

Вкусный большой завтрак и шикарный вид, конечно же. Приветливый персонал и в целом люди вокруг отличные. Мы попали в беду на машине - застряли на горе, колесо съехало с дороги. Нам помогли 15 ланкийцев вытащить машину!!! Есть горячая вода В общем как дешевый перевалочный пункт с красивым видом - ок) Из окна видно мартышек)) К нам они не приходили, но все же

Грязные полотенчики и белье было тоже с пятнами. Дорога до отеля это конечно пипец...) Тихий ужас. В комментариях очень ласково пишут про заезд, на самом деле заехать можно только с молитвами. Местные уже привыкли, а мы на машине офигели))) Второй раз бы не поехали так в гору высоко на машине по такой узкой дорожке ) Будьте осторожны! А еще очень плохая шумоизоляция, было слышно буквально все разговоры из соседнего номера, и как соседи сливали воду и все все. Это тоже не прикольно для таких людей с нежным сном как у меня(

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. We were given fresh papaya juice on arrival as well as some biscuits which was much needed after such a long travel day! The hosts were lovely and always went above and beyond. The breakfast was lovely (and huge) so you won’t go hungry. The view was insane and one of the best places we’ve stayed on our trip. The room was clean and spacious with a mini fridge and tea and coffee. The walk to the main town was about 20 minutes along the train track but a good 35 on the way up as it’s a steep incline. However you can get a tuk tuk for 500-700 LKR. We would highly recommend staying here!

La nostra camera era grande e aveva una vista incredibile sulle montagne e si vedevano anche le cascate! Il bagno grande, pulito e con doccia con una finestra anch’essa sulle montagne! Una nota di merito al personale molto gentile e al signore che ci ha preparato delle ottime colazioni, e vedendo che gradivamo molto la sua cucina ci dava sempre una porzione extra di sambol (era davvero delizioso!!) 💕

La struttura si trova più in alto rispetto al centro, quindi per arrivare bisogna camminare un bel po’ o prendere un tuktuk, ma per noi non è stato un grande problema, inoltre ci sono alcuni ristoranti anche in zona!

Que había muchos mosquitos ( pero como en tod Sri Lanka ). Está un poco a las afueras y necesitas coche para acercarte a la vía principal de Ella ( las vistas merecen la pena )

We loved our room, it was nice and clean and had a wonderful view. The property is located on the hill from center town, so it's in calm area. It's only a few minutes by tuk tuk to Ella. The hotel is family run and they're so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really generous and soo tasty. We had a really nice stay and would come back any time!

The sunrise is absolutely gorgeous. A big breakfast is a bit out of the town center, but it's only a few minutes' drive down the hill to Ella, a peaceful location with places to eat around.

Excellent value for the price. The room was as described and it had a magnificent view of the mountainbike and the waterfall. Excellent breakfast in beautiful settings. All staff was helpful and service minded.

Minesh welcomed us to the property with a much needed cup of tea and biscuits. He was on hand to help with any query. The view was amazing and wild life on view. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are very basic and is reflected in the 1 star but the service was brilliant.

Wspaniałe miejsce! Ogromnie polecam! Jeśli szukasz noclegu w Elli, ale w oddaleniu 15 minut spacerem (m.in. torami kolejowymi) od głośnego centrum to jest to idealne miejsce na wypoczynek! Pokój wyposażony podstawowo, ale czysty. Pościel świeża, łóżka bardzo wygodne. Czysta łazienka. Taras z cudownym widokiem. Absolutnie fenomenalne śniadania! Najlepsze jakie jedliśmy! Pozostaną we wspomnieniach bardzo długo. Polecam z całego serca! Dziękujemy za gościnę!

Wonderful view, great breakfast and very attentive service provided by Dinish. He also managed a scooter rent, taxi transport and fixed even laundry. I definitely recommend staying in this hotel. We experienced even two blackouts across the whole of Ella during our stay but the hotel has its own backup generator, so it was no issue for us.

Older shower head, water leaking even when properly closed.

We loved everything absolutely everything. The rooms themselves aren’t fancy but have all you need. We arrived at night time so when we opened the curtains in the morning we were blown away with the beauty of the mountains. The staff were exceptional, polite, friendly & welcoming. The breakfast that is included was the icing on the cake. Fresh fruit, along with a traditional Sri Lankan feast. We were also lucky enough to have the moneys join us. Do yourself a favour & book here. Our best stay yet.

The accommodation is located on a high hillside and therefore has the most amazing view possible. The room was clean and as described - nothing to criticize. Staff was really polite and courteous!

This property has possibly the best view of the Ella waterfalls. The property is elevated with spectacular views over the valley. You feel like you are part of nature with many birds and cheaky monkeys.😎👍Breakfast was served which was fruit , yogurt , pancakes , breads with Dahl and jams. Coffee flowed . Very good indeed!!!Akash was always around making sure we were comfortable and he looked after us really well.On the day of our departure the owner appeared with his Tuk and drove us to the Station. Lovely peeps lovely vibe. Would not hesitate to return here🙏🏻😎

We stayed 4 days and enjoyed the simple, but clean and spacious room with balcony and a breathtaking view. We watched birds, monkeys, squirrels. Via railway track you are in the city center within 15-20 minutes. Fir the TukTuk you pay between 300-500 Rps. Breakfast was very very good and plentiful. Mr. Mahinda and his Manager do a very good job! They helped us to book an express bus ticket to Galle and brought us to the main road to catch it in the morning.
