The property was beautiful and everything was perfect.

Rooms was cosy

No information on no towels in bathroom.leaks in the bathroom. Outside tent not suitable for kids and bad weather. No security from monkeys. Locks on the outside. Kitchen dishes was not clean.

The area where the resort is, the staff and not far from the shops. We where the group of 8 and the house accommodate us well

It was a self-catering unit. The chalet does not lock. Only the rooms have a lock and key if yu have to go out, the rest are all open. The entire seating area does not close even through the night. I did not like anything. The rooms were to crowded, not user friendly for the elderly as it was difficult to enter the bedrooms and the toilet and bathroom. I actually cut my stay and left a day earlier. Wasted my money.

I think the pictures were not explicit enough especially the entrance of the bedrooms and toilet. My elderly parents were not able to enter as they needed help in almost everything as it's a very uneven place to be in. Yu had to worry who will enter at night as it does not lock. The place was very noisy and disturbing. Yu could not even have a decent sleep. Noise all th rough the night. A very unpleasant holiday that the reason I had to leave a night before. Paid forr a full stay but had to leave a day early

This self catering unit is exceptional. My word!!! The hosts have thought of everything to make sure your stay is a memorable and wonderful one. To say that it is well equipped is an understatement.we were truly blown away. Very attentive and friendly hosts.

The water view and a few ducks

Firstly it should be told: 1. its 2 x 2 bedroom Wendy houses covered by a tent/ marquee with no dinning room . 2. 1 toilet and shower that was infested with roaches and no door separated it . 3. The AC barely works and no security when sleeping in a Wendy house that is basically open so anyone can open your doors. 4. Fridge is dirty and no shelves on verandah one. 5. No instructions on the gas stove 6. There's 3 BBQ grills filty and rusty/ dirty 7. Place needs pressure cleaning 8. Tents pitched right next to the Wendy house 9. Pool area needs pressure washing 10. No wi fi for emergency calls or fire extinguisher/ hose in case of fire 11. No chart saying who to call in case of fire or emergency 12. Roaches flying in room at night. 13. Building on blocks in certain areas. There's no fences or lines to prevent children from falling into the water. 14. Outside tent/ marquee filty including the outside light 15. The place was definitely a suffocating experience. We booked 2 nights but stay the night and texted owner and left early next morning. Horrible experience to the point we didn't eat there and went out to eat. Not a value for money especially when there's no safety measures in place. Maybe it's good for a south African standard but definitely not for me as an overseas tourist. My apologies but no safety is a definite no go .

All thnx to the outside bathrooms cz in the house only one person would get hot water.

Almost everything was perfect. Roxanne is such an amazing host who ensures all your needs are met from detergents, potjie pots, braai utensils the works. We were absolutely in awe and in love with the location, such serenity and peace. Beautiful views of the lake and many water activities available. A well worth place to stay for your family.

The only thing that left us a little sad was the showers which gave ice cold water whenever we had a shower. We had to keep trying to readjust the handles to try and get the water a bit warm every few seconds. Everything else was beyond my expectations

On the Dot was fully equipped and exceeded my expectation. Great place to relax and enjoy nature at it's best

Unfortunately the shower was small and not great.

We loved that our unit felt very private and blocked off from the many visitors at the time. Our boat was literally parked in the water in front of our unit. We had such a stunning view always visible from our open plan unit. Restaurant on site, daily cleaner plus so much more!

Our bathroom shower was very small and the water was either super hot or ice cold. The wash up part for dishes is also too small with only a single basin.

We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location was wonderful and just what we wanted.

The resorts pool area needs a bit of a tough up to make it more inviting.

The view was the best and the facilities were great for my family.

The geyser was on and off. Water was coming out cold in the shower.

it was a good experience to be around that area, feeling refreshed to wake up next to nature, the mountains, the river oh, it was awesome experience 😀

I loved the view. The lake and the staff were lovely and friendly. I will definitely be back just unfortunate about the noise, aircon units, and bathroom for 6 people.

I didn't like the fact that the booking said the unit had aircon, but only 1 aircon in the one room worked. Another thing was the noise and disruption from the unit behind us until 1.30 am fighting, screaming and very loud music made for a very unpleasant evening especially with our two small children. The bathroom too was very small to accommodate 6 people the shower was very temperamental and the hot water ran out very very fast so we had to go to ablutions behind us.

The resturant has top notch foold and the whole facility was great.

The house is a small heaven. The view is exceptional.

Electricity problem caused by load shedding. Some plans were disturbed.

The communication from the 2 ladies is extremely great. The unit is basically on the water with the nicest softest grass lawn between the unit and the water. This unit has everything a person can need from a built-in braai with an additional stainless steel braai and even a boma to make fire while chilling and talking. I love the fact that it has a huge entertainment area and dining area with an additional fridge in the entertainment area so we don't even have to walk far for a drink. It has 4 separate rooms and a separate kitchen and bathroom. It's really really worth the trip, and i will recommend this unit to everyone. As i walked around, i could not see any other units that offer as much as this unit. We also had a cleaning lady who was extremely friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be going back to this unit very soon. Highly recommended!!!!
