Sehr gute Lage in Gehdistanz zum Ort. Ein hervorragendes Frühstück wird vors Zimmer gebracht. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Parkplatz findet man in den Seitenstrassen.

I just loved this little place - it feels very special. So much so that we extended our stay. Great location in the town near the water with a lovely pub on the side ( where we ate and drank and played many games of cards). The staff were funny - kind of grumpy pleasant and they’d ran out of things like gin but I enjoyed the vibe. The bed is comfy and the bathroom large with fluffy towels. You get breakfast delivered which is nice. For my taste the breakfast was too pastry’tastic - I’d have liked some ‘healthier’ options - some toast or hard boiled eggs but for a night or two it’s fine and you are not forced to eat it!!

Wir hatten die Webster Suite. Gross und ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns das abwechslungsreiche Frühstück. Es gab Klimageräte, aber in der Nacht kann man diese ausschalten und die Fenster zum See öffnen. Ruhige Lage. Der Pub, welcher zum B&B gehört, ist zu empfehlen. Sehr leckere Gerichte, mal nicht nur Steak&Fries. Sehr nette Bedienung. Nicht vergessen nach den Desserts zu fragen. Würden es wieder buchen!

Too many stairs if you have heavy cases. Bathroom was poor, the shower cubicle was too small and had plastic doors which were difficult to close. Toilet seemed not on mains drainage and was very loud when flushing. Room was small.

Le prix de 281 dollars canadiens m’a semblé excessif pour les prestations proposées. Le petit déjeuner était très sommaire, avec des quantités ridicules : pour une personne, un mini croissant, un micro muffin, une mini quiche et une mini tasse de granola. Lors du check-in, nous avons dû préciser nos allergies alimentaires, ce qui est louable, mais l’un des produits servis au petit déjeuner contenait justement l’allergène que nous avions signalé — ce qui est non seulement décevant, mais surtout inacceptable. Enfin, l’absence de frigo dans la chambre a rendu le séjour moins pratique.

We stopped on our way back from P.E.I. the town is so cute and coastal. We were met by the staff with a smile and enthusiasm. Our room was beautiful and clean. The bed was perfect. The morning breakfast was delivered to our room at no extra cost. We walked everywhere in town easily. The singer in the bar was fabulous. Check in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be coming back for a few nights. We enjoyed music in the park for free.

As soon as I walked in the front door I loved it. I always prefer older homes, they just have this feeling of coziness. Our room was perfect, the staff was very friendly. We both liked that breakfast was delivered to our door which we could enjoy in our room. We have told friends how much we enjoyed our stay. We hope to be back again.

Up in the roof and consequently very warm which meant the 2 portable AC units had to be run constantly - they were very very noisy so I did not sleep very well. On the day we checked in with a nice young lady who was very helpful and advised coming down for dinner later etc when we did come down just past 8 o’clock we were aggressively told by another team member that the kitchen had closed at 8. It would have been useful to know this at checkin. It was a Sunday night so I understand an earlier kitchen close but it did leave us in something of a predicament.

The young woman who checked-us-in also served our dinner in the gastro pub downstairs. On both occasions, we couldn’t have been received more warmly.

We would have preferred a hot breakfast. A continental breakfast is left outside of your door at 8:00 a.m. This was a personal preference.

Fijne B&B, schoon en super fijn bed. Ideaal dat het ontbijt voor je kamer wordt gezet en dat je het kunt nuttigen in je kamer. Bij de B&B zit ook een pub waar je lekker kunt eten. Op woensdagavond is er een pubquiz, dat is ook echt een aanrader. Qua locatie ook top. Het dorpje is klein dus je loopt overal zo naar toe en 5 minuten lopen bij de opstapplaats voor de rondvaart boten.

We had a wonderful stay at the B&B! The staff is very kind and was always there to help us. We stayed at the Webster room, which has an amazing view on the river. Everything was very clean and comfortable! The pub downstairs also has great food!

Belle maison ancienne (l'extérieur ne rend pas justice à la belle maison ancienne et toute en bois qu'on découvre en entrant). Belle chambre (la.suite Frederick) avec 3 fenêtres. Petit déjeuner continental excellent apporté a la chambre (fruits, croissants, jus frais pressé, gauffres). Pub situé au sous sol a l'arrière (on nentend aucun bruit dans la.chambre). On y a dégusté un délicieux fichier ans chips et salade césar. Cetait une soirée "open mic" et des chansonniers locaux ont mis une chaleureuse ambiance. Bien situé, a côté de la marina et a pied au centre de la ville.

I booked river view room, more expensive, very disappointed as the view is the road and the building across the road. Yes river view only if you are standing right at the window at an angle. I was disappointed for that. Everything else fantastic.

Très bon petit déjeuner, par contres avoir le café inclus aurait été apprécié. Aussi plus de fruits. La vue de notre chambre était vraiment bien, mais les fenêtres n’était pas propre (c’est important quand vous passez plusieurs heures à contempler la vue).

Personne pour vous accueillir à la réception - comprends que nous n’étions pas en haute saison. Nous devions parler avec le personnel du restaurant pour le check-in et ils semblaient déborder. Même chose pour avoir une table pour le souper, il ne prenait pas de réservation et ne semblaient pas au courant qu’ils devaient accommoder les clients du manoir.

La suite avec une vrais chambre, sa salle de bain, sa cuisine séparé et son salon avec télé et iptv . Un vrais petit appartement !!

Camera molto bella e pulita e dotata di ogni confort. A due passi dalla partenza dei battelli per le 1000 isole. Al piano di sotto il pub dove si mangia benissimo. posto molto accogliente e familiare. La colazione viene lasciata fuori dalla porta, ad ogni stanza il suo vassoio con del salato, del dolce e dei succhi di frutta. Assolutamente consigliato. Dovesse ricapitare ci torneremo sicuramente con molto piacere.

The breakfast was very good and the location of the property was within walking distance of City Cruises for our cruise to visit the 1000 Islands. Pub food was good, however we found beer expensive and got overcharged for individual small salads. Fish and chips was tasty and portion was generous.

Excellent location right on the water!! Staff was friendly and professional! A member from our party had a birthday and on request they brought up a birthday card with the breakfast and accommodated some gluten and restricted diets. Thank you!

The air conditioning could be improved.

We loved the staff as they were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and they accommodated my sister who was vegan. Location was excellent as you could see the water and only a 2 min walk to the edge of the water.

The aircon was less effective when the curtains were closed. We had to prop it up with hairclips. We were there at the hottest time of the year which was unseasonably warm.

Great location and really good value for the money. We were welcome by the owner’s father and he was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Very convenient location. Few steps to where to board the cruise. Can enjoy the lake with from the room. Also the room is a suite so it’s bigger than we expected. The breakfast is very full, and they even gave us two more little cupcakes to celebrate my partner‘s birthday. It’s very sweet of them.

There is no on-site parking, luckily there is no issue with that because we can park on the nearby street. Stairs a little bit high, so needed to be careful when walking up and down.

We stayed in the loft suite - the only suite at that level of the house. It was private, cozy, and had great views. It was more spacious than in the pictures. The breakfast was elegant and delicious.

The room was comfortable, and the bed was decent. It was near the waterfront and a close walk to town.

The initial reception was not particularly friendly nor helpful. We understand it wasn’t the owner of the B&B however, this person needs to be trained on how to greet guests. The stairs to our room were extremely steep and the receptionist, a young girl, offered no help with our bag. We have stayed at many B&B‘s and breakfast is traditionally served in a dining area. At this B&B, it was delivered to a table outside our room for consumption in our room. We did have a very pleasant conversation upon our departure.

The breakfast served was way beyond what unexpected. IT was fresh, excellent choices. Thank you! The neighborhood was lovely and quiet with a view of the river and the full moon.

We arrived after dark, so it was a wonderful surprise in the morning to look out our windows to a beautiful view of water and islands. The breakfast of fruit and pasties was very nice. We especially enjoyed the individual quiches..which were warm!

The only thing… and this is minor because everything was wonderful…Maybe our prepared breakfast was meant to be eaten in our room, we, however, wanted to eat on the enclosed porch on the lower level. Bringing our tray of food and plates down the steps was not too difficult but bringing a cup of hot coffee down was a bit more challenging. Maybe a coffee station of sorts on the lower level would be nice.
