Hosts ate amazing, super sincere and caring. Top breakfast. Big clean living space. It is a very calm place to stay.
The staff are simply amazing — attentive and very kind. The view is absolutely stunning. It truly felt like living in a small village in the jungle. Breakfast was perfect, Thank you Thank you to the hosts for such a warm welcome.
Being in the jungle, así the hosts were incredible and made our stay, exploring on their motorbike!
Nothing!
Great staff
Niets Alles wag geweldig
The breakfast was good with a limited but tasty choices.
The room was damp, electrics primitive and the bathroom not clean.
Niesamowite miejsce! Piękne pokoje, odkryta, komfortowa łazienka, piękny taras z widokiem na bujną roślinność. LUKSUS....
The hospitality and the location. The room was spacious and luxurious. Transport is available. I enjoyed m'y stay
What a great gem of a place to stay off a side alleyway. We loved our room with the four poster bed with mosquito nets and the open bathroom. Our food was upstairs so we felt we were amongst the tree and foliage. Ketut & Adi were wonderful and warm hosts and so informative about things they thought would interest us locally . Adi drove us to a bamboo forest surrounding (and we visited )Penglipuran village. We really enjoyed everything about that visit especially all the cultural aspects of Balinese life. Adi was so informative. They also organised our onward transportation. Breakfast was prepared on the property and delicious. If you wanted dinner, you could place an order from a local restaurant that Ketut would organise. The food was good but a bit limiting for vegetarians. I enjoyed the massages I had . Ketut will also organise a masseuse to come to the room. She was fantastic !!! We so enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying at Jungle Joglo. Suksma Ketut & Adi for all your warm and caring hospitality. 🙏
We didn’t have our own transportation which limited our own exploration but could organise any time with Adi to take us anywhere if needed.
The owner was super nice, giving a warm welcome and all conveniences. And the breakfast was made in place by an aunty. The room was very confortable, I had an excellent sleep score there !
Comfortable room and bed. Great shower and lovely toiletries handmade by the host. Welcoming and homely.
Not so much to do if you don’t have transport and no restaurants in walking distance. Hosts collect a takeaway from a good restaurant.
Wonderful stay at Jungle Joglo. A lovely welcome from the owner who was totally at one with her surroundings, even making her own plant based soap. The bed was very comfortable; the room had a kettle which seemed quiye unusual for Bali. Good variety of food, although dinner was a bit pricey compared to other places we stayed at. And great valed for money. Would recommend as a place to stay if you need a night en route to somewhere. ,
No complaints, just one loud and tired fan
Everything! Adie and Ketut were incredible hosts, the breakfasts, the rooms and the gardens were just beautiful. You can walk 10 meters and you are in the most beautiful nature you could imagine!
Very nice rooms with natural environment and friendly staff
Shower water pressure and heater need to improve
Host is top notch. Jungle walk attached. Easy to borrow motorcycle as needed. Private and isolated at end of street. Good place for a couple.
Noisy a bit with rooster crowing just next to windows.
Title: Instead of relaxing, I got stressed out by a rooster choir around the house. Not recommended. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in Bali. I went far away from the city specifically to find peace and rest in nature. I carefully selected this accommodation based on its high rating (9.5) and great reviews. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly and smiling host — I thought I had finally found a peaceful place. How wrong I was. Starting around midnight and continuing until morning, roosters were screaming non-stop from every direction. Not just one or two, but dozens. They were so loud that it wasn’t just impossible to sleep — it was physically uncomfortable to stay in the house. My head was buzzing, my body felt drained, and my nerves were shot. I woke up feeling even more stressed and exhausted than when I arrived. To the owners: you need to decide — are you running a guesthouse or breeding roosters for cockfights? You can’t do both. These are not “sounds of nature,” no matter what you tell yourselves. Roosters don’t scream all night unless they’re caged, facing each other, and constantly agitated. And if you call your place “Jungle Joglo”, then live up to the name. “Jungle” means frogs, birds, and natural sounds — not dozens of stressed-out roosters screaming all night. You should rename your property to “Chicken Farm Joglo”, because that’s exactly what it felt like. There are no jungles here — none at all. Final verdict: complete disappointment. I left more tired and anxious than I came. Not recommended.
Take a deep breath and enjoy the nature... Very nice and comfy room, exceptional staff. The owners are really nice and helpful. Good breakfast
If I have to find something, I would say that the pressure of the shower wasn't that strong.
Wonderful and peaceful location right by the jungle. Generous, kind and friendly owners and staff. Beautiful rooms with open bathrooms. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend it.
Roosters are loud all day, but I personally didn’t mind.
Amazing staff and super friendly
I had an amazing time in Jungle Joglo. They went above and beyond to make my experience good. Soap and shampoo are handmade and Ketut explained everything thoroughly. She even helped me learning Bahasa. The warmth of this accommodation is unbeatable and I would definitely recommend it.
Beautiful place
Car park
Village location close to waterfalls, UNESCO temples, coffee plantations. Can rent a bike from the owner. Good breakfast. around 30-50mins from UBUD. Nice rooms.
Taxis possible but not so many for short trips (Grab, Gojek). The owner Adi can drive you if needed.
Everything, location, staff, and everything . One day we will back again.
Nothing
Such friendly owners and staff who go above and beyond. Ketut and Adi make you feel like family and as a solo traveller this makes all the difference. The breakfast was great and had a good option to choose from, the bed was really comfortable and really big for one person! There was a beautiful trekking trail at the end of the street it is down and a secluded temple space which ketut took me to. I love how invested and passionate ketut is about the work she is doing for the earth and community, with the enzymes. I really felt inspired by her and see how committed she is to making a difference in Bali and wider. She is so knowledgeable. I was also poorly when I stayed there and felt very looked after and supported. Ketut also cooked me dinner a couple of evenings which was delicious
I could sometimes hear my neighbours and having just come form a silent retreat my hearing was extra sensitive but after having a chat with my neighbours they shared that they couldn’t hear me.
We loved absolutely everything. Wonderfull food, location and most importantly people. This place will forever stay in our hearts. Ketut and Adi became our family in Bali. Can't wait to meet them again. With all our love Aeron and Pep.
Staff is not staff bat beautiful family my Indonesian family the host Katut is magnifique woman and Adì ( the driver ) is super man 💪🙌🇲🇨 super raccomandet 🔝✌️😎
Very beautiful and magic place! It is one of the small groups of accommodation which really cares about sustainability tourism, which I highly recommend to "copy" ideas and spread out for other accommodation in Bali. The rooms are spacious and very cosy with everything you need (to make coffee, tea, fridge,...) Breakfast is delicious and if you ask in advance they prepare dinner for you also.
That I couldn't stay longer....
When you first enter the property, you might feel you're in the "wrong" place. However, once inside your room, you feel you're in a resort accommodation. It was a real treat to have a shower under the sky. There were no insects or mosquitoes in the room despite it being next to the jungle.
Can get noisy with animal sounds for those who can't stand constant rooster crowing. But I love them all. It adds to the jungle/village vibe.
It was a beautiful location and the hostess was very nice. On our second day here she offered to take us to a traditional Balinese house and took us for a very informational walk through the jungle. The breakfast was amazing and they also did our laundry!
Great family hotel very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast made fresh for you.
Shower could of been a touch hotter
The Hosts were very friendly. The gave us lots of information what we can do and made the best to feel good. It is in the jungle. So it is a quiet place to calm down with many temples and waterfalls nearby.
In the morning there is some noise made by roosters (bring you oropax with you). The surrounding warungs are only ok.
Absolutely wonderful and helpful hosts that goes beyond exceptional. A cosy room in a nice natural setting. Also by far the nicest bathroom I had during my trip to Bali. (This aspect seems vastly overlooked elsewhere, at least in this price range.)
The bedding had a slight musty smell to it. Not too bad, though. I guess it's one of the snags of living in the jungle.
This is such a magical place! So much love and care have been put into every detail. The house is beautiful and peaceful, and the hosts incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. One can walk to the temple through the jungle to experience the cleansing ceremony. I have been travelling for months and here I finally felt at home.
Just amazing..10 out of the 10..the owner is providing great accomodation and caring about enviroment. The best shower ever 😍. Love it. Bali need more places like this to not turn into island of rubbish. This lady deserve big THANK YOU 🙏
Don't miss the chance to experience Bali not-rushed, not over-touristed, off the beaten track... Take advantage of owner Ketut's local knowledge and suggestions - she is a LOVELY host. Driver and car available full-time on-site if you don't have your own transpo.
Katuk the woman who owns it is amazing. She took us along a nature Trail, the back road to the famous Tirta email temple. She insured we were dressed properly with her generous clothing for the men and women. We were four of us traveling together two couples, and took the upstairs rooms which were fantastic. Our shower was tepid. But it was so hot out. It felt good. Our friends was a little bit warmer they said. Everything was so clean and beautiful. The breakfast were amazing. She was so generous and we got to taste traditional Balinese breakfast, and when she found out I love tofu, she went to a neighbor and got us fresh tofu and avocado. She added Mangostine to my breakfast the next day when I told her how much I loved it. They were beyond generous. They help us get around to different areas of town at super reasonable rates. I even got to jump on the back of her motor bike. Two of us had special dietary needs, and she made sure the restaurant she recommended took good care of us. I had some of the best Tempe ever. We were over the rice, patties and fire flies and could see the ducks doing their work natural gardening . Ask her about what she’s doing to clean up the village and her Eco soaps. We ended up supporting a large bag of rice and her soaps so she can get the villagers to use that verses the plastic covered soap. Her soaps are enzymatic and fabulous. Better for the river waters too We also were taken to a local ceremony and temple. She helped us shop. She and this stay was one of the best experiences on our trip. Her studies were around environment and she continues that. Ask her about what they did during the pandemic for the village. Best rustic eco lodge Only fans but was perfect. Lovely outdoor shower. Wirh plants.
Nothing Having to say goodbye to katuk
Very friendly hosts, delicious breakfast. Dinner can be ordered from a nearby (really nice) restaurant. The lodge was surrounded by jungle and away from all engines and noise. Very nice rooms, beds and sanitary facilities.

Beautiful nature around the property. Such a nice and hospitable family. Room was beautiful, and the bathroom too, stunning. Breakfast was delicious. 10/10!
the nature surround me
the animal fake in the morning
Not far from the center, you can find calmness, be in the jungle, connect with nature, and immerse yourself in the Balinese atmosphere, because at "Jungle Joglo," they ensure it's just like that, making you feel at home. The room is new, beautiful, with a comfortable and spacious bed, an outdoor space to enjoy the jungle with privacy, and an excellent bathroom. Everything is clean. The breakfasts are excellent, and the personal attention is TOP. They manage it with a lot of care, professionalism, and a great sense of service, with sensibility. They will help you before you even ask. If you've made it this far, don't hesitate. Enjoy it! Pd:Ketut Yudani thank so much for make me my birthday special!!

It is a good atmosphere to stay in the middle of the green and a nice quiet place to rest and relax. The space is big and very comfortable with fan. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.
The rooms were beautiful and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
Sadly there just isn't much in the local area, hiring transport is the only option.
The jungle setting.
Neighbour's dog barking half the night.
It was okay for just one night
The noise from outside, I could hear other ppl talking outside and the dog barking early in the morning
I absolutely love this place - Ketut and her Family and staff are the most hospitable, kind, caring people I've ever met. Amazing place in the Jungle - excellent Joglo, the most comfortable bed and the most local fresh organic breakfast!. Stay here!
Wooden room, shower. Close to jungle.
Noisy. Family house so close to room. You can hear everything.
Cosy homestay with lovely staff. Very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast!
The free soul is rare, but you know it when you see it - basically because you feel good, very good, when you are near or with them “ | C.Bukowski Ketut is truly a free soul and her house is house of love . Everything about this experience from the moment of arrival until the very last goodbye was pure magic . The bungalow is beautiful and spacious , the garden is blooming, the atmosphere is harmonious . The walks , the talks , beautiful shared moments . Thank you Ketut For your open heart , grace and generosity . Bless you Shira
The room itself was everything you can wish for: super comfy and nice smelling bed, waiter boiler, tea, coffee, amazing bathroom... together with those little details like homemade soap and a beautiful desk. The joglo is beautiful, with tons of different plants and trees that take your breath away and a really good breakfast in full of good taste decoration. But! The best part is Ketut, the owner who dreamed and built the space from scratch with a lot of love and dedication. One can really feel the amount of heart put in the Joglo! Also, she takes care of everyone as family, and I really felt like I always stayed at a friend's place as we went for a walk together through the forest until the temple. What a lovely, multi-tasked, beautiful woman! So go ahead and book a couple of days. I really feel I didn't stay enough time...
Amazing location surrounded by beautiful mountainous jungle. The property is very clean, staff are very friendly and a lot to choose from for breakfast - I chose the fresh juices and fruits. Free water and refills are provided. The semi-opened bathroom is designed with attention to detail with splendid decor! One of the best places I've stayed in Bali - Highly recommended!
The location is perfect. We loved being a bit lost in the jungle with the local people. The room is clean and very comfortable. What's more, they hire out scooters so we were able to get around easily.
Nothing :)
I highly recommend a stay at Jungle Joglo. It was a highlight of my time in Bali—such a gem. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. Great food, cute rooms, kind staff. The pictures don’t do it justice. Ketut is an amazing host, tour guide, and lovely person. She showed me wonderful places off the beaten path—walks along the rice terraces to the temple, native plants and fruits, sunrise over Mount Batur, and much more. This is a great place to experience the real Bali and support a beautiful local-owned, woman-owned, eco business. An unforgettable stay. I hope to come back someday!
My stay in jungle Joglo was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and I really got a chance to relax and unwind in the serenity of jungle surroundings.
Price to value, the place is a gem, however there are lots of animals around. The noise of crowing rooster would wake us up at 3 am. But it is beyond control of the staff so itr is hard to criticize them for it,
The owner and staff was insanely nice and welcoming. Super helpful. The area is quite an near the jungle for a good time out of busy Ubud. Would highly recommend!

Everything awesome! I arrive after living in “5star hotel” and when live in Jungle Joglo the service was a pretty much better. Clean rooms, fantastic breakfasts. You can’t find any better for this price
Our experience at Jungle Joglo, was truly exceptional. These charming jungle lodges left us in awe from the very first moment. The impeccably clean houses were warmly welcomed by staff whose friendliness was second to none. One of the jewels of these places is the opportunity to live with the animals that inhabit the properties. Coco, the friendly fellow, won our hearts. The lush gardens surrounding the hotels are peaceful havens that invite relaxation at all times. We cannot fail to mention the breakfast, a real treat. Every morning, we were surprised with delicious dishes that gave us a taste of authentic Balinese cuisine. The rooms we stayed in deserve separate praise. They were simply amazing, providing comfort and cosiness in every detail.
The only difficulty we encountered was the slightly tricky location to find, but once we arrived, everything else exceeded our expectations.
Absolutely beautiful, would definitely recommend and will stay here again, everything about this stay was amazing
Nothing
We loved Katut and her philosophy. She had so much joy and went out of her way to make our stay special. Her partner Adie was equally happy and the ladies who worked alongside absolutely charming and could not do enough to please. The home cooking was delicious and the homemade soap a revelation. It felt like we had the honour to stay in a Balinese home - and were certainly not charged a fortune for the privilege. We would definitely return.
The bathroom could have done with a bit of a wipe now and then but that seems to be throughout Bali - and had we asked it would definitely have been done. It just wasn't important or dirty enough so was not a major issue only a minor one. Otherwise - perfection.
After traveling more than two weeks, we felt like we came home when we arrived to Jungle Joglo. Our room was atmospheric and beautifully decorated. Adi and Ketut are incredibly lovely and helpful people. Jungle Joglo is surrounded by beautiful garden and nature. Staying places like this you see more realistic side of Bali than in center of busy cities full of tourists.
Mosquito net above the bed was a little bit stained and there was a snail.
The hosts went above and beyond during our stay there. They were very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. Very knowledgeable of the areas, must-see attractions. Immediately felt like being at home.
Warm and welcoming family! Great breakfast and good value
They all were so friendly to me! very well prepared and the breakfast was the best i ever got!
What a beautiful stay! 😍 The staff were great, the breakfast absolutely delicious and we didn't realize, it's only a two bedroom guest stay so it was only us and another guest next door. The hosts are warm, chatty and very helpful. Traveling around Bali on a budget we've stayed in some real dives for about the same amount and this place was such value for money. A truly lovely stay. The bathroom and breakfast were the best. (oh and the two beautiful dogs, so happy to see us and receive pats and cuddles made us feel at home. Their ginger cat even jumped into bed with us for a while) 😂 Loved it 😍

Everything was really nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and a lot
From the very early morning (5/6am) the two housedogs didn't stop barking.
Clean and great bathroom, comfort like at home
Parking. There's no enough place for parking.
FEEL YOURSELF AT HOME....I LOVE THE MOST IS THEIR COOKING, SO DELICIOUS AND TASTY. MUST TRY MUMMY COOKING AND YOU WILL REMEMBER HER FOREVER :)
NOTHING BUT REMEMBER THAT THE PLACE IS VERY COOL, SO REMEMBER TO BRING ALONG YOUR WINTER CLOTH :)
Breakfast was great and unexpected! I’m glad they made me an omelette after a long hike
Adi the owner and his family made the stay memorable. The nature around was spectacular.
Well I liked the cat but he came in my room and shat there. He was however very cute and soft.
