Hotel Buddha Park near Sarnath, Varanasi

The room itself was comfortable, and finding a cab or auto wasn't really a hassle since that's gotten a lot easier over the years. I'd stayed here about four years ago too and had a genuinely great experience back then, clean rooms and bathrooms, prompt service, a warm and attentive manager and staff. That's actually why I booked again, and before arriving I even messaged through Booking.com asking if I could extend my stay by a few hours (happy to pay extra) and about an airport transfer, since the previous manager had told me that could always be arranged.

Unfortunately I never got a reply to that message, which was a bit disappointing before I'd even checked in. The location is also a bit of a letdown, fairly far from Sarnath and the main sights, and it can get noisy, which I noticed a few other reviewers have mentioned too, so I don't think it's just me. The bigger issue though was how much the service has slipped since my last stay. None of the earlier staff were even there anymore, the bathroom wasn't nearly as clean as I remembered, and there was no warmth at all through the stay, no smile, no thank you, not even a "please visit again" at checkout. I ordered breakfast well before checkout and it took almost three hours to show up, only after I called reception three or four times chasing it. By the time it reached my room it was already past 10 and my checkout window had started. It came in cheap ceramic cups and plastic plates too, nothing like what I remembered. Luggage help was inconsistent as well. There are about 5-6 steps between the parking area and reception, and I carried my own bag up myself since nobody offered, staff only helped once I'd finished checking in, using the elevator. Then at checkout, a staff member suddenly rushed over to help for the last couple of steps when I was already almost at the door. To be fair, one of the two receptionists was decent. It was specifically the woman handling checkout who was the problem. The room itself was already paid for through Booking.com at the time of booking, so the only thing pending was the room service bill, just 530 rupees, which I'd paid through UPI. Even so, she asked me twice if I'd actually paid, then wanted proof, and the way she asked felt more like she didn't believe me than like she was just doing her job over such a small amount.

the triple room i booked was on the top floor and when we reached around 6 pm the room felt like a sauna and the AC placement is so odd that it hardly cools the room. We had to shift thanks to available rooms on ground floor and the manager but it was a learning. God forbid if the hotel was full and we had to bear the agony, my family would be severely discomforted.

Hotel Buddha Park is ideally located in a pristine environment away from the buzzing city. Facilities like car parking, gardens, king size room, neat and clean rooms and smiling staff made it an excellent choice for family stay..its pisa vasul :) Keep up the good spirit.

The service and the hotel owner were very nice and friendly, provided early check-in, on time comfortable transfer, cooker to eat food, which i have brought outside. The bed was comfortable.

Our family recently stayed at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, comfortably accommodating all our needs. The staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable, assisting us with every detail to ensure a pleasant stay.

The experience was truly heartwarming…… 😊 The service was exceptional, with the team going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. When we mentioned the need for good internet for some work, they immediately set up a high-speed Wi-Fi connection and even provided a speed test to reassure us…… Such thoughtful attention to detail! 😊 The gentleman at the reception welcomed us with a warm smile…… 😊 His hospitality was truly outstanding. He not only helped us arrange a rickshaw for our early morning visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple at 4 AM but also ensured we were cozy in the chilly weather by providing a heater. It’s rare to come across service so considerate and personalized. 😊 Every small detail, from their attentiveness to their genuine care, made our stay unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Buddha Park to anyone visiting Varanasi…… Their hospitality will surely make the trip even more special. 😊 (Sharing images of the wonderful staff here as a small gesture of gratitude.)

Liked everything about the hotel except the location. Inspite of the fact that we had stayed here for only 1 night, I would still recommend this property to each and every traveller visiting Varanasi to atleast stay here once. The room and the washroom was squeaky clean. The room had great lighting. The greenery view from the window was awesome. The bedsheet, pillow covers, etc. were clean. The hospitality of the staffs were top-notch. The food tasted awesome.

Location is a little bit outside of the main city. But, one can get auto-rickshaws easily. The hotel also has it's own car to get the guest around. The menu options were a little limited. But the cook said he will cook us whatever we want to have. :-)

The facility lacked a dedicated restaurant. Though they had an in house kitchen but the menu was very limited.

Food was the main problem. The thali which hotel provided was good but less choice in food items. So I hope they provide varieties & swiggy Zomato take more than one & half hour in delivering food. So it will be better if the hotel provide more food items.

Hotel staff is very sincere and supporting. Cleanliness was 10/10, size of the room also 10/10. Staff was also 10/10. Food was also 9/10. We were fully satisfied with the overall package. I will definitely visit this hotel whenever I am around Varanasi.

The only thing to worry is the location of the property is little difficult to trace. However, we reached out to the hotel staff & they guided the driver. I would suggest that they should also share the gps location on the website so that visitors can reach the hotel easily.

Large rooms with good decoration, AC etc. You can get home made food in kitchen as there are 2 dedicated employees who can cook as per your need. Manager Neeraj and cook Sandeep are excellent in their job with great customer service.

Bela road quality is average and I wish it improves in future. Last 1 km from ring road till this hotel you have to travel on Bela road. Connectivity from Airport to this hotel is good - takes around 25 minutes.

Very nice room, hotel is brand new, and manager is very good. Breakfast is ok.

Location has no Uber/Ola available, but you can use shared auto (tuk-tuk) to get to Varanasi or Sarnath. Just wave to any tuk-tuk passing by in your direction. Hotel has its own vehicle so they can transfer you to ralway station or airport

The staff and manager were very helpful. They went out of the way and tried their best to service all our requests. The breakfast was good and they served hot fresh food all 3 times of the day or whenever we requested. The rooms were net, clean and spacious.There are pharmacies, ATMs, Bakery, Supermarket nearby. I would like recommend Hotel Buddha Park to those who like a clean, neat and quiet place. It is not near to the temple area if you want to be near the city. Sarnath is in 10 minutes distance from the Hotel, worth visiting.

The room was quite nice and spacious, it didn’t have much light from outside but the lightning system was excellent so it didn’t feel dark. Everything was clean Great plus: Hot water system is amazing Ac works perfectly The thing that I would highlight is the warm welcoming from Niraj, he was very aware of every single detail and made me feel comfortable at all time. They served me breakfast in the room and cleaned it when it was required. I would recommend the place 100% The organization of the staff was superior compared to hotels that charged double or more. So even if there’s any problem they will probably solve it in a nice effective way

This is a very budget friendly place, so expectations should align with that. But the price quality ratio is excellent. The location is the big problem, it’s really far from the center, like 40 45 mins ride, and it’s also not an amazing area to walk around. It was hard and expensive to find someone to drop me by night. No restaurants nearby. The bed is also pretty hard, it wasn’t a problem for me, I slept comfortably but it might be a problem for others
