Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Fantastic location, well equipped for all of our needs. Modern facilities, AC was an added bonus. We would definitely stay again. We were able to check in early, this was really welcomed. Beautiful lake (beach) just a few minutes walk with SUP’s etc for rent. Lots to do in the area. Great supermarket and places to eat.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026דירת 2 חדרים מקסימה, מרווחת, נוחה ומודרנית,, שנמצאת ממש על גדת הנהר. המיקום של הדירה מושלם ומרחיב את הלב ממש.. להתעורר בבוקר למראה הנהר הגועש וההרים שמסביב, זה פשוט תענוג. . אנחנו משפחה שמטיילת בכל העולם ואת הדירה הזאת לא נשכח..

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Excellent accommodation- Modern spacious 2 bedroom suite ( unit 2 Scoria). Fully self contained and the design made a feature of the river views.
Property grounds needed further upkeep to meet the high standards of the accommodation. Our visit was in early June ( snow melt and rain) and the river was high and fast flowing - this did cause us some concern.

Reviewed May 18, 2026Bij toeval kwam ik deze locatie tegen. Een verborgen pareltje! Het appartement had alles wat je nodig had, wat ontzettend schoon en de medewerker reageerde snel toen we een vraag hadden over de sleutel. Het zag er allemaal goed uit. Zou er zo weer verblijven.
We zijn er zelf 2 keer langs gereden voordat we het konden vinden omdat het vanaf de weg niet zichtbaar is. De uitleg van de accommodatie is wel gewoon goed, dus het lag aan ons. Maar een klein bordje aan de weg zou extra helpend zijn!

It was great to be able to spread out for the evening, 2 couches, dining table, chairs, kitchen and two double bedrooms. The pride of the hosts in the property was evident in the cleanliness and the attention to detail. Would highly recommend.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025Every website you look at, says that all cabins have A/C, which was the reason I booked this place! However, upon arriving on a very hot day, no A/C to be found in the granite cabin… To make my story short, the very unprofessional owner came to talk to us, was extremely rude, said he was appaled we would even dare ask for a partly refund,etc.. I’ve never in my life met anyone like him and felt scared . If he wishes to continue in this business I would suggest a hospitality course. There was obviously bad blood between him and his employees , seemed like a toxic workplace. Tip: buy a few pegs and install in cabin so people can at least hang their wet towels…

Et la vue sur la rivière était juste fantastique. Il était possible d'aller directement au lac à pieds, des serviettes de plage étaient fournies.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2025Das Zimmer liegt direkt am Fluss. Draussen gibt es zwei Stühle zum sitzen. Es ist wirklich idyllisch. Die Küche ist perfekt. Es hat eine Badewanne, die man nützen kann. Es gibt einen Kühl- und Gefrierschrank.
Gäste des Studios nebenan sind öfters an meiner Terasse vorbeigegangen, bis ich gesagt habe, dass das nicht schön ist. Sie sollen auf der anderen Seite langehen, auch wenn das etwas weiter ist. Aber dafür kann die Einrichtung nichts.

When we booked it we were not aware that it was shared bathroom facilities- see attached- we found out couple of days before. My husband has crohns so the walk to the shared toilets and showers was not ideal. Also only 2 womens toilets snd showers for over 10 chalets and campers. So although the facilities were lovely there was not enough of them. The booking info is definitely misleading

Reviewed Aug 5, 2025We stayed at glamping cabins right by the river. The cabin was very clean, very spacious, had fridge and AC. The property is well maintained, washrooms were always clean and hygienic. The area has some good restaurants and smaller local eateries within walking distance. There is a gas station and convenience store close by. The main road is only a few meters away and town center, visitor information center, Buy Low foods are all around 1 km distance. Very good place to stay for tourists.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2025This place is a gem. We booked the 2 bed scoria suite. The first thing that stands out is the view from the cabin. It’s right along by the river and it’s absolutely stunning. The kitchen is kitted out with all you need. If I was to find one negative it’s the blinds are very light so it’s very bright in morning. Bring an eye mask. Overall, I highly recommend this place

To top it up, we met Sarah who not only was extremely nice as a person, but also saved us a ton of woes when we got locked out of our car. Reviewed May 25, 2025We acccidentally booked a cabin that didnt have a private bathroom (apparently put in a misleading way at the booking.com platform), but could luckily easily switch to a cabin with own private facilities (for a little addition to the rate). The host was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed our stay : it was perfect!!
The ‘standard’ cabins do not have private bathroom. This was not clear on booking.com but the hosts now clarify this . We received a lot of messages through booking.com in advance (on opportunities for activities etc… so its not always clear which messages are just advertisement and which ones are important (eg rental agmt ).
