Grand Hotel Gulsoy Old City

L’hôtel est magnifique, le personnel est souriant, accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. Son emplacement est idéal, avec une vue imprenable sur la mosquée. Une mention spéciale à Shahinez pour son chaleureux accueil et les précieuses informations fournies. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute dans cet hôtel !

L’insonorisation de la chambre pourrait être améliorée : nous avons entendu à plusieurs reprises nos voisins ainsi que des bruits tôt le matin.

The property is in perfect spot and easy to travel to most of the major tourist attractions. The staffs were amazing and we had a great time. Would definitely recommend.

Zero variation in breakfast. Always the same. Extremely (but really very very) unfriendly people at the reception desk. No "hello, all fine?" but more, "don't bother me and don't ask me anything". Also very disrespectful towards woman. The sound of the building airco is so loud you can't sleep. Staff starts making noise at 6AM.

L'emplacement était juste magnifique, tout a proximité bien desservi tramway ainsi que métro.

En sortant de l'hôtel un petit restaurant fort illuminé, je le déconseille fortement un attrape touristes.

The view of the mosque from our room was beautiful. The pool/sauna area were fantastic. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Nice coffee area at the front of the hotel. Beautiful roof terrace with incredible views, delicious food & drinks, very nice staff. Thank you!

Die Lage war ideal, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung. Schönes, gutes Restaurant am Dach, mit super Ausblick.

Der Kaffee beim Frühstück ist grausam, nicht zu trinken. Außerdem ist der Frühstücksraum im Keller ohne Fenster.

Good location, easy access to public transportation, comfy beds. Nice sauna and pool facilities. Varied breakfast.

We had an issue with our window, it didn't close properly. They sent a maintenance guy but didn't do much. Being right next to a mosque and a busy street, it was very noisy, but we used ear plugs. Also, the room is a little bit run down. More attention to the cleaning would be nice.

Shahinez and Hakaan were wonderful as were all the staff at the establishment. Very welcoming and helpful. A home away from home. Breakfast was lovely and delicious. Area location is great. Close to metro . A very pleasant experience. Will definitely be back here.

The staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel has a good rooftop restaurant and a very convenient location. I would also especially highlight the excellent housekeeping - the room was cleaned very well, and a special thank you to the housekeeping staff for that.

The hotel feels very old, dark, and generally not very presentable. The rooms and common areas clearly need renovation. One of the biggest concerns is security. It seems that almost anyone can access the hotel floors, as there is usually no one monitoring the entrance, and the elevators do not require a key card. Upon check-in, we were also given only one room key card instead of two, which is more common in most hotels. The rooms themselves are also very outdated. You can see mold in some corners and worn joints between the walls. There are no bathrobes, the TV is very old and only a few channels work, and there is no iron in the room. There is apparently only one iron for the entire hotel, located near the breakfast area. Breakfast is decent, but I wouldn't call it excellent. Access to the swimming pool also effectively comes with an additional cost because guests are required to purchase swimming caps. There is a sauna and a hammam, but the hammam costs extra as well.

Отель находится в историческом центре Стамбула, достопримечательности в шаговой доступности. Отличные завтраки. Номер был чистый, постельное белье белоснежное. Уборку проводили каждый день. Рекомендуем всем. Будем еще останавливаться.

Líbila se nám obsluha, lokalita a dobré snídaně.

Nelíbila se nám postel!! Polštáře a matrace už opotřebení, a nedá se na nich spát. Po nich bolí celý člověk( záda, hlava,krk...).V koupelně manžel nadával na sprchový kout( byla promačkla vanička,a furt stala voda, vprostě pořádně netekla do kanalizace). Být č.119. A zbytek je perfektní. Děkuji

Location, cleanliness, staff were courteous in general. Room sizes were also good; actually the hotel provided us spacious/larger rooms without any cost. One of the reception staff was very kind and helpful, unfortunately I don't remember his name but I did thank him by giving him some local delicacy as a gesture of gratitude for his lovely behavior. Efe was also a very nice guy, a lovely person indeed.

The hotel charged 80 Euros for providing a sofa bed for my 8 year old, which I didn't like paying for. Usually kids stay free in all the good hotels. So from this perspective it's not a good hotel. Quite greedy and sneaky. One of the reception staff kept asking for money even though I had not checked in and my family had not even arrived at the hotel. The breakfast was below average, they were asking for money for fresh orange juice.For the first time in my life I experienced this kind of breakfast. There were various items but all were low cost and repetitive. The omelette station offered only plain omelettes and there was no add one like onions tomatoes cheese green chilies etc. I mean what the heck. There was a charge for accessing the pool and other facilities after 5 pm, which in my view is a pretty cheap thing to do. The beds were not comfortable and seemed worn off and lumpy so were the pillows i.e, below standards. Honestly, I would not prefer to stay at this hotel again, mainly because of their poor breakfast and ultra cheap policy of charging for access to the pool/facilities after 5 pm and children's bed.

The hotel was 10min max walking distance to the main street that goes to the 2 mosques. The staff at the hotel are kind and helpful. The breakfast was good, but it's not a huge one. The view on the rooftop is nice

Good location, many restaurants and shops close by. Bedrooms were spacious which was great.

Very basic breakfast menu with instant coffee instead of bean-to-cup, and the apple and orange juice tasted like cordial not actual fresh fruit juice.

L’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé, vous êtes proches de tous les grands quartiers touristiques sans pour autant être envahis de touristes. Le petit déjeuner est superbe ! Les chambres sont belles, modernes et le personnel de l’hôtel est exceptionnel.

The hotel's location is great, everything is within walking distance, and the view from the window is magnificent, with a view of the mosque! The breakfasts are varied and delicious, with a wide selection to suit every taste. There's also a sauna and pool, and, importantly parking. The hotel staff was very helpful when we had a car problem; they called for service and stayed until it was completely fixed, for which I'm very grateful! the rooms are cleaned well.

Micul dejun a fost același timp de 5 zile iar apa din piscină a fost rece și nu puteai sta prea mult.

Este al doilea an consecutiv cand ne cazam la acest hotel Grand Gulsoy. Un hotel frumos, curat. Aproape de bazar iar la parterul hotelului numeroase magazine si restaurante. Personalul hotelului minunat. Un punct forte este si restaurantul de la ultimul etaj. Parcarea este subterana , sigură si la un preț decent 15 euro pe zi . Micul dejun variat.

Proprietatea a fost de nota 10. De la paturi, aer conditionat, curatenie, prosoape schimbate zilnic, minibarul alimentat zilnic cu apa, micul dejun diversificat zilnic si foarte gustos, aproape de statia de metrou, amplasarea apropiata de toate atractiile turistice si nu in ultimul rand, foarte linistita. Intr-un cuvant EXCELENT.

Instalaciones muy antiguas, desayuno más bien básico. Y lo peor de todo es que en un principio los botones fueron súper majos y nos ayudaron a buscar una forma de llegar al aeropuerto pero nos tocó un chofer que trabajaba para el hotel bastante desagradable, hizo varias paradas sin dar explicaciones y causó situaciones de tensión innecesarias, nada recomendable

O pequeno almoço era ótimo, a limpeza também estava impecável e um especial obrigada ao rececionista Hakan pois ajudou nos a organizar um roteiro de todos os lugares imperdíveis e foi super prestável do início ao fim! Gostei também da limpeza do quarto e um especial a senhora que limpou o quarto no dia do check out

Apontaria só que demoravam a repor algumas comidas no pequeno almoço como por exemplo as panquecas e fruta

La ubicación es correcta, a 900 m. del Gran Bazar y aprox. 1,9 Km de Santa Sofía.

A nuestro juicio el hotel esta muy sobrevalorado en Booking, lo que lleva a un error a la hora de elegirlo. Es un hotel correcto, pero nada más (lo que sería en España un 3 estrellas) La habitación y baño demasiados pequeños, (máxime para 2 adultos y 1 niña). La limpieza correcta. Ofrecen Spa, pero no lo es. Se trata de una piscina de agua fría en el 3er. sótano, carente de chorros, presiones, o instalaciones propias de un Spa. Sí ofrecen baño turco, pero utilizable previo pago. El deasayuno es francamente decepcionante. Escaso y con aspecto de poca limpieza. Si tenemos en cuenta la magnífica pastelería turca, ésta no aparece reflejada en el desayuno. Ya en el colmo de los despropósitos, si quieres un pequeño zumo natural te cobran 100 liras (foto). Mención aparte es el restaurante de la azotea, bien presentado, comida aceptable y unas vistas maravillosas (aunque también lo pagas como en cualquier otro restaurante de azotea que abundan en Estambul). En definitiva, hotel poco recomendable, salvo que obtengas una superoferta.

Everything was absolutely great. I loved the hotel and the receptionist staff, they were great. If I cane again, I would come to Gulsoy without a doubt.

Breakfast: I think there wasn't enough meat options, the sausages were good but they weren't served everyday hence making it limited for people who want to eat alot of protein during breakfast time.

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν τέλειο. Καθαριότητα πλούσιο πρωινό και όλοι ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί. Είχαμε νωρίς check in και αργά check out αφού πρώτα είχαμε κάνει σχετικό αίτημα. Πάντα στο ψυγείο είχανε εμφιαλωμένα νερά και μάλιστα σε ένα θέμα που προέκυψε με βλάβη στο ασανσέρ παρατείνανε το πρωινό για να εξυπηρετηθούν όλοι.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'Hôtel Gülsoy. Les chambres étaient spacieuses, confortables et impeccablement propres. Un grand merci à l'équipe de nettoyage pour la qualité de son travail et son attention aux détails. Les équipements de l'hôtel sont de très bonne qualité, et la piscine est particulièrement agréable pour se détendre. Nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement toute l'équipe, en particulier le personnel de l'accueil, qui a été exceptionnel par sa gentillesse, son professionnalisme et sa disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le restaurant situé au 6ᵉ étage, qui propose des repas de grande qualité dans un cadre agréable. Merci à l'ensemble des employés pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur sourire et leur dévouement. Grâce à eux, notre séjour a été une véritable réussite. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir lors de notre prochain séjour à Istanbul.
