Wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. A special shout-out to Morvarid, who is absolutely amazing, so caring, brilliant, and attentive. She truly made our stay even more special. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality!

The only area for improvement would be the swimming pool. It could be better, especially the water temperature, which was extremely cold. Other than that, everything was great. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!

De guest relations, ze waren heel betrokken.

Heel druk, ik had inclusief ontbijt geboekt maar ben maar 2 keer geweest. Heel chaotisch. De kamer werd maar 1 keer schoongemaakt, de ene keer zei ik dat het niet hoefde maar de volgende dag werd er niks gedaan. Op zn mimar verwacht je dat handoeken worden verwisseld.

La amabilidad del staff ( especialmente en el buffet ) la ubicación del hotel ( tranvía y metro a 5 minutos máx) la seguridad de la zona, limpieza....repetiría sin dudar.

Tener que abandonar el hotel / ciudad y quizás, la moqueta ya que yo no estoy acostumbrada a ella.

Apart from a few members of the front desk team and two people from Guest Relations, we were extremely disappointed with the overall experience at this hotel. Although the location is convenient, the hotel is clearly in need of renovation and the condition of the property does not live up to the standard we expected. We were initially given a smoking room, even though we are non-smokers, and the room strongly smelled of cigarette smoke. We requested to change rooms, and unfortunately, the second room we were given had no way to open the shutters/blinds, meaning we were essentially in the dark. The bed was also broken and therefore tilted, which made it very uncomfortable. The shower was in poor condition and clearly needs to be redone, with extremely poor finishing throughout the bathroom. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful, but unfortunately this does not make up for the overall condition of the hotel. The property really needs significant renovation work. The facilities, including the swimming pool, are also not at the level advertised by the hotel and do not match the photos shown on Booking.com. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay and feel that the hotel does not currently live up to the standard it presents online.

Zuhanyzóban nem folyt le a víz és éjszakára beposhadt, rettenetes büdös volt Távirányítóba lemerült az elem, légkondi kapcsolóban szintén nem volt elem. Törölközőt folyamatosan elfelejtették visszapótolni

Nagyon nagyon kedves volt a személyzet az egész hotelban, kifejezetten a hölgy a reggeliztetésnél. A takarító személyzet is mindig kedvesen illedelmesen köszönt. Nagyon szép helyen van a reggeli, és széles a válaszék, mindig friss ételek voltak és a zongorista is remek hangulatot teremtett.

A hotelben bulihely is üzemel, ezért a hotel belső udvaros szobáiban konkrétan képtelenség aludni hajnali 2-ig a hangos zene és a bulizók hangoskodása miatt. Kértem másik szobát, amit csak második panasztétel után kaptam meg. Az első szoba ahova tettek egy szinte alagsori szoba volt 123-as számú, nagyon erős dohos szag volt ami a klímából is jött. Szellőztetni nem tudtam, mert az udvarról is bűz jött be. Szerencsésebb lenne ha abban a szobában senki nem kerülne elszállásolásra, mert borzasztó élmény volt több szempontból is. Nem értettem, hogy ha tudtak adni olyan szobát, ami se nem büdös se nem hallatszik a buli akkor miért nem azt adták már elsőre. A fotók nem a valóságot mutatják, fel vannak javítva, a valóságban sajnos, már látszik, hogy felújításra szorul.

Micul dejun a fost excelent, foarte variat, iar restaurantul este elegajnt si are o vedere superba. Tot staff-ul era foarte amabil, in special Irca. Intr-o zi am prins si un spectacol de pian la micul dejun.

Nu mi-a placut faptul ca nu aveam prosoape de maini in baie, existau doar doua prosoape mari intr-o camera de doua persoane. Nu aveam si supprt de pasta de dinti si periute in baie. Pernele din dormitor sunt cam tari, una era mai moale, dar cealalalta era rigida si nu se putea dormi bine pe ea.

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι μεγάλο και το προσωπικό φοβερό πολύ εξυπηρετικοί όλοι και ευγενικοι. Τα δωμάτια καθαρά. Και ό,τι θέμα είχαμε το αντιμετωπίσανε γρήγορα. Το πρωινό είναι και με ευρωπαϊκές προέγραφές και έχει να φας τα πάντα. Στο μάνο όροφο του ξενοδοχείου έχει μια μικρή πισίνα η οποία κρατάει μέχρι τις 11:00 το βράδυ για να κάνεις μία βουτιά. Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται 4 λεπτά από τη στάση του τραμ και 25 λεπτά με τα πόδια άμα θες να πας στην Αγία Σοφιά.

Αφού είχα κάνει κράτηση για 3 άτομα δωμάτιο μου είπανε ότι θα πρέπει για να πάω σε μεγαλύτερο δωμάτιο να πληρώσω extra εγώ δεν το δέχτηκα γιατί όντως τους έδειξα την κράτηση για τρία άτομα και μου είπαν το μόνο που μπορώ να κάνουν είναι να μου φέρουν ένα έξτρα κρεβάτι στο είδη πάρχοντα δωμάτιο το οποίο ήτανε πολύ μικρό και χωράγαμε ίσα-ίσα για να μετακινηθούμε μέσα.

The towels in Sauna were very old. And the kettle in the room was not clean.

Le personnel est très accueillant, souriant et à l’écoute de sa clientèle je suis venue avec ma maman et nous avons passé un agréable moment. Les chambres sont propres et tous le matériel nécessaire est fourni . Le petit déjeuner est excellent et l’hôtesse d’accueil du petit déjeuner est toujours très souriante et très gentille Je recommande !

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker und vielfältig. Für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Besonders gefallen hat uns die musikalische Untermalung durch den Pianisten und der Ausblick auf die Stadt. Außerdem wird man von sehr freundlichem Hotelpersonal zum Frühstück begrüßt und jeden Morgen gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder etwas gebraucht wird. Sehr aufmerksam😃. Pool und Sauna können bis 23:00 Ihr genutzt werden, so dass man jeden Tag Gelegenheit findet, dieses Angebot zu nutzen.

Aufgrund der zentralen Lage kann es abends draußen schon mal lauter sein.

Frühstück, Aussicht von Frühstückrestaurant, Frühstück war immer mit Klavier im Hintergrund.

Es war zu laut. Zimmer war zu klein.

Pesonalul profesionist si mereu gata sa te ajute. Curatenia impecabila si mic dejun cu produse diversificate. Locatia excelenta, aproape de Metrou, tramvaiul T1, marele bazar si moscheea albastra.

La baie ar fi necesara o aerisire cu ventilator.

Hjørnesuit var god, meget for pengene.

Venlig personale især inci var virkelig sød.

Хороший разнообразный завтрак. Чистота. Расположение - рядом много ресторанов, кафе, магазинов. Доброжелательный персонал. Очень понравилась Inci из ресторана - очень приятная и отзывчивая, всегда радушно принимала гостей. На ресепшн могут организовать экскурсионные поездки - оплата наличными только, трансфер забирает из отеля и привозит обратно в отель, что очень удобно.

Практически нет замечаний. Единственное, нет одноразовых шапочек для бассейна. В ближайших аптеках не было в продаже штучно, в номере тоже не было шапочек для душа, которые для бассейна подошли бы. Так и не искупались, к сожалению.

The hotel was so lovely and clean and this is my 3rd time at AHC Old City Hotel. All of the staff were very friendly like usual especially Inci and Farida, they ensured that we had the greatest customer service throughout my holiday. The location of the hotel is amazing and very convenient to stay whilst in Istanbul. They also understand very good english and any concerns we had they made sure they went out of their way to resolve it.

Room was clean, breakfast delicious, you will find the regular and traditional turkish food too. Inci and her team are so nice and welcoming every morning. The hotel is 15minutes walk from the Grand Bazar and 5 min from tram, metro.

Our bathroom had a bad smell, because of the ventilation.

Le personnel a été très agréable à l'ecoute et de tres bons conseils à la réception. L'hotesse de salle du petit déjeuner est tres professionnelle, toujours un accueil chaleureux, souriante. Le buffet varié et copieux. Le personnel de salle discret et efficace. Très bon établissement.

Personalul de la recepție a fost foarte amabil și atent.

Curățenia nu este punctul lor forte, existând foarte multe locuri în baie care ar fi trebuit curățate cu atenție precum marginile căzii sau chederele de la ușile rabatabile. Am considerat ca din punctul acesta de vedere nu își merită banii ceruți în condițiile în care am stat și la hoteluri mai ieftine dar care nu prezentau atât de multe locuri necurățate cum a fost acesta. Un alt aspect care a fost deranjant a fost faptul ca pe booking nu scrie nicăieri ca nu ai voie la piscină fără cască. Ajungând la proprietate, abia atunci am fost informați despre acest aspect, ulterior întrebând pe cineva dacă se poate și cu șapcă în loc de cască, răspunsul fiind unul afirmativ dar în momentul în care am ajuns la piscină ni s-a spus ca nu avem voie, în condițiile în care eu aveam părul prins și oricum nu aș fi intrat și cu capul în apă, după cum i-am spus și doamnei de acolo ca nu intenționam sa intru și cu capul în apă. Am acceptat să rămân pe șezlong pentru că partenerul meu putea intra în apă dar în momentul în care m am ridicat de pe șezlong să îmi întind prosopul și să îmi dau rochia jos de pe mine doamna despre care am spus mai sus, vizibil deranjată ca nu am înțeles ce mi a spus ca nu am voie în apă, îmi repeta din nou același lucru, spunându i ca am înțeles de la bun început și ca nu intram în apa, ci doar voiam să mă fac confortabilă. După acest moment am ales să eliberez zona tocmai din cauza doamnei care gestiona lucrurile pentru ca nu m am simțit deloc bine și mai mult de atât pentru ca îmi doream să mă relaxez nu să stea cineva cu ochii pe mine ca pe un copil mic care nu are voie să intre în piscină.

El alojamiento está fenomenal y la ubicación es perfecta. Solo tienen un problema que para mí fue crucial….TODAS las noches en el bar de última planta ponen música hasta las 3 de la madrugada y se escucha perfectamente. Eso dificultó muchísimo el descanso ya que las ventanas no están bien insonorizadas.

We were especially surprised and grateful to be upgraded to an Executive Room — such a lovely gesture and something we really appreciated! The hotel has a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the beautiful Old City of Istanbul and within easy reach of many attractions. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. A special thank you to the reception team, all the staff and Inci. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Their hospitality is one of the reasons we keep coming back. After staying here three times, we can honestly say that AHC Old City Hotel feels like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul and will happily stay here again on our next visit! ❤️🇹🇷

Awesome location, friendly staff, very decent breakfast with various hot dishes every day. Good spa with not big swimming pool at 6th floor, great hookah and outstanding panoramic view at 7th floor restaurant (though music was too loud for me). And at reception floor there’s nice cafe for those who like chilling at the evening, looking at people and cars that pass by. There are also plenty of transport options nearby - buses, metro, tramways - that let you get to any place of Istanbul pretty fast (please keep in mind that Istanbul is huge city), and many historical sites are at walking distance.

The one and only disappointment was hotel’s WiFi - access speed didn’t exceed 10Mbps… Nowadays it feels waaaaay tooooo sloooooow… 😥

Una estancia fantástica. Éramos 4 y nos dieron dos habitaciones comunicadas. Ambas estaban limpias, las camas muy cómodas y el personal de recepción fue muy amable. Los baños excelente y el desayuno superó nuestras expectativas. La ubicación del hotel excelente para moverse a pie o en transporte público. Totalmente recomendable.

La suite que solicitamos era muy amplia y cómoda, el desayuno bueno y variado con buenas vistas, la ubicación era excelente, con muchas tiendas y restaurantes justo al lado, a 10 minutos andando del gran bazar, a 20 minutos de la Plaza de Sultanahmet, y a 30 minutos de la zona Galata y Karakoy, con posibilidad de transporte publico a muy pocos metros. El hotel tiene un restaurante que está abierto hasta las 2:00 AM con una carta variada y económica, también queriamos resaltar la atención y amabilidad de la chica que te atiende en la recepción del desayuno y del personal del restaurante.

La limpieza de las habitaciones dejo mucho que desear, no limpiaron el inodoro en toda la semana, al igual que no cambiaron las sabanas en toda la semana, aunque si cambiaban las toallas a diario incluso dejando las nuestras colgadas para que no lo hicieran. Avisamos dos veces a recepción que la tv. no funcionaba, nos dijeron que enviaban al técnico para arreglarlo y una semana después nos fuimos sin que funcionara

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders Frau Inci und Frau Feride. Beide haben sich wirklich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und waren jederzeit für uns da. Die Aussicht vom Frühstücksraum ist wunderschön, das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist gut.

Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass es bis etwa 1:00 Uhr nachts durch Musik aus einem anderen Hotel bzw. Restaurant lauter war. Außerdem konnten wir auf dem Zimmer das WLAN nicht nutzen. Und auch der Fernseher und die Klimaanlage haben nicht funktioniert. Letzteres haben wir allerdings nicht beim Personal angesprochen, da es für uns nicht weiter störend war.

The staff, the service, the facilities, the location are amazing. The hotel is surrounded by countless shops and restaurants. Special thanks to the guys in the reception, to Farida and the other lady who was in charge at the entrance of the hotel breakfast restaurant on 26.08.26, sorry I lost her name, but both they made it easy and comfortable for my kids who are autistic with gluten and dairy-free diet. My gratitude for the service.

The room was small, you could barely walk around, but it didn´t affect so much as we spent most of the time outside.

Mi-a plăcut locația, foarte bine amplasat cu acces facil la doar 5 minute de mers pe jos de stația de tramvai T1 care te duce către cele mai importante obiective turistice. De asemenea, statia de metrou este chiar vis a vis însă și statia de metrou Aksaray ( unde te lasă și autobuzul de la aeroport IST) este la 15 minute de mers pe jos. Camera arata foarte bine și este bine dotată și spațioasă, iar micul dejun este unul variat și bun, restaurantul fiind situat la ultimul etaj cu View către oraș și mare. Fetele de la customer care sunt foarte drăguțe și dornice sa te ajute.

Apa de la dus și cada nu prea avea presiune, iar când făceai dus apa se scurgea afara. Pernele sunt foarte tari și nu am putut dormi pe perna. Pentru acces la piscina ai nevoie de cască și nu am fost anunțați asta atunci când am făcut rezervarea. Poți să o cumperi de la ei cu 5 euro sau sa o iei din alta parte. Piscina este mica și este foarte cald in acea zona.

A fost o experiență frumoasă, check- in imediat, personal calificat care îți dau toate informațiile legate de hotel cât și de vizitele in exterior, inclusiv transfer - urî, printre puținele hoteluri cu zona de spa gratuita, saună și piscină, mic dejun fabulos, iar check - out târziu. Mulțumim întregului personal și vom reveni cu drag.

Wir haben 8 Nächte im Hotel verbracht und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich, und besonders schön war die Aussicht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und konnte mehrere Sprachen sprechen. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Reinigung war gut. Die Lage des Hotels fanden wir ebenfalls sehr praktisch. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel waren gut erreichbar und auch Restaurants, Apotheken, Wechselstuben und andere wichtige Dienstleistungen waren in der Nähe. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass wir uns in der Gegend sehr sicher gefühlt haben. Insgesamt war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt und wir würden das Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen.

Es gab eigentlich nichts Besonderes, was uns nicht gefallen hat. Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr zufrieden.

We would especially like to highlight Mr. Oguz at the reception. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. He assisted us with several matters, including helping us make a phone call to a clinic, and was always there whenever we needed support. His kindness and dedication truly made our stay even more pleasant. Thank you for the wonderful stay and excellent service! Хорошая локация, все в шаговой доступности. Неплохой завтрак с видом на море.. Во время завтрака живая музыка на рояле, впечатлило!). Есть бассейн и сауна, сказали, что входит в стоимость, но посетить не успел). Что также понравилось, большой санузел!). В целом, неплохо.

Освещение в коридоре мрачновато). В номере столько выключателей, пока нашел, который от кондиционера, светомузыку устроил). Ручка в санузле почти отвалилась, плинтуса отвалились. Ну и вода питьевая в номер бесплатная только в первый день, потом платная. Так что воду несите с собой. Отношение персонала на ресепшене надменное.

Bathroom facilities require maintenance - shower drain was clogging, limescale buildup on shower heads, jacuzzi didn't work. Light bulb was blinking in the bathroom. Also, TV, hanging from the ceiling on the way to the wardrobe and untied cables didn't look good.

Rooms were clean and modern, and in a good location

The staff. I was there for 5 days and did not get one hello, not even when checking in. The reception staff were not bothered, they did not greet us once during our stay let alone smile. They were not approachable or friendly at all, and i hate to say it but seemed like they did not like people that were not their kind. Very stuck up and sometimes rude. My group of 10 all unanimously felt the same.

Das Frühstück war an sich sehr gut, aber es war schade, dass es scheinbar Gästen erlaubt war, die Möwen auf dem Balkon, oder direkt aus dem Fenster heraus mit Essen vom Buffet zu füttern. Aufgepasst wer bei leicht geöffneten Fenster am Tisch sitzt - die Hinterlassenschaften der Möwen fliegen da auch lang ;) Die Zimmer wurden leider entweder sehr spät am Nachmittag oder gar nicht gereinigt (trotz des Reinigungswunsches an der Tür den ganzen Tag über). Nach einer 4-wöchigen Asienreise hatten wir (besonders die Kinder) uns auf einen entspannten Ausklang gefreut, daher hatten wir auch etwas mehr Geld bezahlt, damit wir den Komfort genießen können. Leider falsch gedacht - Insgesamt mehr Schein als Sein. Als wir in den Spa - Bereich zum Pool gingen, wurden wir leider sehr enttäuscht. Das Personal dort war nicht nur lustlos, sondern auch echt unfreundlich. Die drei Damen haben dort laut per Facetime telefoniert und Kaffee getrunken - Service sieht für mich irgendwie anders aus. Als die Kinder in den Pool wollten, wurde nur gebrüllt, dass sie eine Badekappe (aus hygienischen Gründen) tragen müssten. Da wir keine hatten - dort für 5€/pro Kappe(!!)zu kaufen. Nachdem diese extrem billig verarbeiteten Kappen gekauft hatten, stellten die Kinder fest, dass der "beheizte Pool" nicht beheizt war!! Zudem ist er 1,4m tief und für Nichtschwimmer komplett ungeeignet und auch recht klein. Somit war der "Badespaß" nach 5 Min. wegen blauer Lippen vorbei. Natürlich haben wir uns darüber sehr geärgert, weil der "beheizte Pool" mit der Hauptgrund für die Buchung dieses Hotels war. Unseren Unmut durften wir dem Hotelpersonal (Ferida war glaube ich ihr Name) kundtun. Es wurde sich direkt darum gekümmert und es wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Personal vom Poolbereich nicht direkt zum Hotelpersonal gehört.

L’hospitalité du personnel.

1. Impossible de se laver normalement! L’eau qui coule sous la porte de douche et au final la salle de bain est inondée. Il fallait mettre plusieurs serviettes! On nous a changé de chambre, dans la nouvelle chambre il y avait exactement le même problème!! En plus l’odeur de la canalisation! 2. SPA. Les transats sont sales.

The hotel breakfast was one of the best, highest-quality, and most varied breakfasts I have ever experienced at a hotel. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming. The cleanliness of the bed sheets and even the blanket was excellent — 10/10. The location was fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel, and the metro station is only about 150 meters away. The room was cleaned and tidied every morning. I would also like to give a special thanks to one of the hotel staff members, who was Iranian. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask for his name, but he was incredibly kind and helpful to us throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Très bon emplacement pour visiter la vieille ville et à deux pas d’une station de métro. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon. Personnel aimable.

Wszystko super! Doskonała lokalizacja na zwiedzanie Stambułu. Wszędzie blisko. Najlepsze restauracje w okolicy. Blisko do stacji metra. Gorąco polecamy!

the staff was good and also the location, we did the turkish bath and the massage and they were amazing! the breakfast was good and various.

our room was on the 6th floor and near the terrace bar, i couldn’t sleep until the music stop at THREE am… it was very loud, we also called the reception for ask if they could turn the music volume down but it didn’t change anything.

Except the Customer service manager her name start with FAR. the staff were NOT professional. they forbid be to go to my room because my SON was not registered. they also didn't find m y reservation, we look up by name, booking reservation etc and yet they couldn;t find my reservation. overall front desk were rude, not professional and not accommodating. I will NOT stay there at all. people are NOT firendly except the end customer manager. when I told them I will leave bad review, they didn't care, we get a lot of customers.

Staying in this hotel was the best experience . Staff was very kind , friendly and supportive, breakfast very good , accommodation clean and location very convenient.
