Roam Taupo Upper Terrace Unit 4 - Spa Pool

Great place oposite the lake. Great view and outdoor area. Did not have chance to stay longer.

Lovely appartment, Great location, Very comfortable.

Stopped in at The Upper Terrace unit 4 for an evening as part of a road trip with my father from Auckland to Wellington. Very easy instructions and access when checking in. The terrace house apartment is very modern, very clean, nice large bathroom with modern amenities .The view was incredible from the living room and deck and in the main bedroom you can see the stars on a clear night and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here as its a great place to relax and take in the scenery of Taupo with modern comforts.

Not sure if much could really be done about this being the elements and all but it was extremely windy on the day we arrived in Taupo and the Patio grill roof on the deck rattled and was very noisy in the wind. (This did cease once the wind dropped off).

Not very private, we were woken up thinking we were being broken into by next doors guests. Inconsiderate Chinese tourists. Then woke up in the morning to them standing in front of our bedroom on the deck.

Our stay at the unit was absolutely amazing! The view of the lake was incredibly refreshing and made every moment feel special. The unit itself was spotless, beautifully set up, and equipped with everything we needed. All the amenities were truly five-star quality, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We had such a comfortable and relaxing experience, and we would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Fab Location, wonderful shower and very comfy beds

We loved everything

The accommodation is located right in front of Lake Taupo, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery throughout the day. We could step directly onto the lakeside walking trail, which made it perfect for a stroll. The facilities were also clean and comfortable.

The terrace was not clearly separated from the neighboring house, so there was no privacy, which made it uncomfortable to use.

An absolutely beautiful home in a stunning location. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. The kids loved the loft bed.

The shared balcony was a bit unexpected.

unbeatable lake views, great deck, quality furnishings and decor, spa pool right outside the door, peaceful, away from the busy centre but easily accessible, close to lake path/walks, great comms with hosts - even a tasteful Christmas tree for December.

Nothing we didn't like - one small suggestion might be a covered area or umbrella on the deck.

Everything was perfect ! Very comfortable for our family of 5. Loved the location - what a view to wake up to.

Great location and facilities were good.

Location was excellent. Walking distance to shops cafes and restaurants. Apartment was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Views were amazing. Parking was also convenient, a little difficult with traffic but ample area Host was in constant contact over washing machine issue to resolve

No prior warning that washing machine was being repaired. Host did organise some washing to be done and also offered a discount, however I would have preferred early notice as we could have avoided the issue. Host also asked if they could install the washing machine on our last afternoon which really didn't benefit us by this stage as we were flying out early next morning and there was no clothes dryer. Minimal areas to store/hang clothes or have luggage comfortably in the bedrooms.

The view was amazing

Everything, the location was great! Close to town and right on the lake front. Very clean and modern, comfortable bed and amazing views. The spa was the cherry on top! Would highly recommend and will stay again.

The only small thing that bothered us was the main bedroom had a high window with no curtain so the light comes in as soon as the sun rises in the morning. It’s nice to look at the stars at night however! This isn’t a dealbreaker for us, we will be back!

Thought we just stayed one night in a heavy rainy day, we still feel very comfortable in the house. Wish to stay longer next time.

Beautiful views

Sooooooooo beautiful. One word, we cant wait to go back to Taupo just to stay at thus house. The spa pool is also amazing to be use during winter. The house is sooooo clean, new and amazing view.

Great location. Lovely views, still close to town which is convenient.

We had trouble figuring out the washing machine.

Great location and facilities. Photos are what you get. Highly recommend.

Small things but poor WiFi (need to move to a mesh system) and only streaming channels available on the TV so need to use your own logins (maybe set up property logins for TVNZ / TV3 or get broadcast channels on the TV).

The view was lovely and the spa pool was nice and warm. The shower was great, loved that it included shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Loved how nice the house smelled throughout our stay.

Double-check that the fridge was cold. It was at 7 degrees and we didn't realise the next day so our drinks werent super cold. But not a deal breaker.

Incredible deck and views

however lack of privacy as neighbours on balcony and the privacy screen is small and dosnt change the over hearing , best to book both rooms out and wont be whole balcony

We stayed in Unit 4 and it was perfect. It was extremely comfortable and was in a perfect location with access to the lake walkway. It had excellent facilities and it was wonderful sitting on the deck, enjoying the view after a big hike. The shower was excellent!
