Room hygiene needs improvement. Felt unclean. We also didn’t enjoy the breakfast.

The hotel is located in the Sirkeci district, right in the heart of it all. The New Mosque and the Galata Bridge are a 5-minute walk away, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar are a 10-minute walk away, and the Suleiman Mosque is a 15-minute walk away. The small street where the hotel is located is quiet, but there are two shopping streets at either end. There are countless small restaurants in the area, as well as all kinds of shops. I’ve never stayed anywhere in Istanbul with a better location. The hotel itself is quiet and comfortable. The bar’s glass front is open during the day, and there are tables on the street as well—it’s a great place to sit, whether with a drink or your morning coffee. The restaurant has been listed in the Michelin Guide for 2023, 2024, and 2025, though I didn’t see a star. Breakfast meets all the expectations one would have of a four-star hotel in every respect; the fresh fruit is delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they recommend numerous activities. Luggage storage is available after check-out. I recommend avoiding the hotel’s airport shuttle; we paid 150 euros, and I saw several ads in the city offering the same service for around 40 euros, but I think you could get there by taxi for that price as well. The building’s classic appearance is appealing; the walls of the rooms and the ground floor are clad in brick, which creates a very nice atmosphere. The room is spacious and well-equipped, and the mattress is very comfortable to sleep on. Despite all that, we had a great time; the hotel’s location, the staff’s attentiveness, and the atmosphere more than made up for the issues mentioned above. It’s definitely one of the best choices in Istanbul for anyone who can live with the shortcomings mentioned above.

The building’s mechanical systems, however, are in poor condition: the air conditioner in our room was noisy and very outdated, and it didn’t even work in our travel companions’ room. The toilet flush button kept getting stuck, causing the water to gush out, so we had to pry the button loose. Finally, a sewer smell was wafting from the bathroom; we asked them to fix it—but they couldn’t. The shower stall is quite slippery, and the shower panel isn’t exactly state-of-the-art. The hotel could really use a thorough renovation.

Я попросила самый тихий номер, и мне дали номер действительно очень тихий . Мы прекрасно спали. Очень приветливый , улыбчивый персонал. Заботливо предложили взять с собой перекус при раннем выезде . Приятный завтрак. Расположение гостиницы очень удобное, стмпатичный интерьер. Также нам порекомендовали очень красивый панорамный ресторан рядышком.

Я брала улучшенный номер, он был приятного дизайна , но очень скромного размера для нас двоих . Каппучино в баре гостиницы за 10 евро был совсем невкусным.

Staff wasn’t helpful, even if you want to get your rights and the normal items that should be in the room, you have to pay to the housekeeping staff. The breakfast option are limited not WAW as they said.. One of the staff named Gorge was unhelpful.. مع الأسف أغلب الموظفين لا يخدموا بشكل جيد وينتظرون مبالغ مادية من النزلاء حتى تتم خدمتهم، إبتداءاً من موظفي المدخل الذين يرفضوا التعاون مع العميل القادم إليهم بسيارة او مواصلات ليست محجوزة من الفندق، حتى ان احدهم اسمه جورج ذكر لنا اننا في حال طلبنا سيارة من الخارج فلن نتعاون معهم للدخول قرب البوابة لأخذنا للمطار، اما خدمة تنظيف الغرف فلا يتم التنظيف بشكل جيد والأدوات الشخصية في دورات المياة لابد ان ندفع لعاملات التنظيف حتى نحصل عليها وعلى خدمة جيدة مفترض تقديمها بدون مقابل .. خيارات الافطار محدووووودة جداً وليست إفطاراً فاخراً كما هو مذكور في الموقع. مع الأسف المكان لا يستحق المبلغ ولا الاسم.. فقط الميزة الوحيدة في المكان هو الموقع اما غير ذلك ف لا… ومستحيل أن أعيد زيارة هذا المكان او ان أرشحه لشخص آخر…

We loved the feel of the hotel. It was stylish and quaint at the same time. Location in Old Town was amazing with so many choices of restaurants, pubs and close to the tram station for excursions. The staff were really helpful and very nice. Breakfast was great!

There was an awful sewerage smell in my room and in my son’s room a smell of smoking that had tried to be disguised.

The staff was great. They were welcoming all throught the visit. We mistakenly did the booking for 2 instead of 3, and the staff immediately solved the issue and accommodated us with no problem. The room was comfortable with a convenient location with everything in close proximity.

I love the hotel. In the middle of the buzzing old city, you step out of the flow of people into a quiet and peaceful oasis. Beautiful rooms, great breakfast, and very accommodating staff that often goes the extra mile to help you out.

For some team members we had the rooms under the roof booked, which are VERY different to the rest of the rooms on all other floors. These rooms don't really have the design and charm - so I'd rather avoid them and stick to any of the other rooms (and categories).

Очень шумно в номере из-за установленных блоков от кондиционеров на стене. Есть номера где окна выходят к зоне расположения этих блоков. Звук и шум 24ч.

Rude staff during breakfast. They put away my plates even though I wasn’t even finished eating yet. I felt rushed even though I still have 30 more minutes. They did not bother the other guests except me. Also the bathroom need more cleaning as there were mold build up in the tiles. They did not refill the hair conditioner in the bathroom and the Kleenex on the bedside table was almost empty before I even started using it.

- Incredibly nice staff, made me feel like family at home. They were very attentive and helpful without feeling overwhelming. - Arrived very early in the morning, could keep my lugagge there and they let me check in free of charge as soon as a room was available. - Silent and very quiet room. - Delicious breakfast (coffee a bit too weak) - Great location for sightseeing in Sultanahmet. - Loved the charging device for the phone. - Good coffee machine in the room.

Beautiful hotel and value for price; and we got upgraded to a suite. Front desk arranged airport transport and guide for day tours. Highly recommend if you want to stay in old town area.

This is a lovelly hotel with great staff, restaurant being renovated when we were there, rooms comfortable and clean, hotel in good location, bit of a walk up hill to Mosque's and Cystern etc. Overall good hotel for the price in Istanbul.

I think the rooms could use a little sound proofing. They should definitely add a pool or bath tubs for a better experience. The rooms require a little more light. Ambient lighting is good but it can get too dark and gloomy for someone who stayed there for 6 days

L’accueil et la disponibilité du personnel, le beau bâtiment historique, hôtel bien insonorisé, emplacement top.

La salle à manger est trop sombre et les rideaux fermés oppressent un peu.

Sehr stilvolles Hotel, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, schönes Cafe angebunden, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück. Aufgrund von vorherigen Kommentaren haben wir uns nicht für das günstigste Zimmer entschieden, am Zimmer gab es für uns dann nichts auszusetzen, allerdings haben wir keinen vergleich zu den vorherigen Kritiken. Die Lage war genial für uns.

Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer war nicht schlecht aber auch nicht der allerschönste. Der Preis für das Zimmer erschien und trotzdem noch recht Hoch obwohl es nichts auszusetzen gab. ein einfaches taxis konnte von 0800-2200 nicht direkt bis vors Hotel fahren, wir mussten 200m laufen (nicht wirklich schlimm)

Mitt i Sultanhamet, mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Frukosten var utmärkt och hela hotellet var jättefint. Nära till Blå moskén, Hagia Sofia och Basilikacisternen samt Grand Bazaar.

Enda minus var att sängen var hård men det är ju en smaksak.

The staff is excellent, the room was great, and the location is one of the best.

There was mold in the shower, and the shower doors didn’t close well, leading to a wet bathroom every time someone took a shower. Also, when I went searching for one of the earbuds I lost, I discovered a thick layer of dust under the bed.

We were blown away by the location of this hotel. Right in the middle of everything, just perfect. On arrival the staff went above and beyond for us. We checked into our room, dropped off bags and then went back to reception ready to explore. The kind gentleman recommended a roof terrace for us to go to for food as we hadn't eaten. It was perfect. Our room was incredible. Right in front of one of the mosques, very spacious with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, best nights sleep in days. Breakfast was very good too, lots of choices!

The location was perfect. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. I don’t remember his name, but one person especially was so great, he made us maps of everywhere we wanted to go and helped with every question we had. And the breakfast buffet had a nice spread, we stayed there to enjoy it every morning.

The pillows weren’t the most comfortable, but besides that, it was great.

Nice building in a very convenient location. We were able to walk to all the sites and neighbourhoods we wanted to visit. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast offering was pretty good but the breakfast service could be improved slightly (and coffee could be a bit warmer)

Everything! Beautiful finishings, amazing location and fantastic communication prior to arrival. The room was huge, has bags of character and the bed was so comfortable! We arrived at about 1.30am thanks to a delayed flight and it was no bother, reception was manned 24 hours and it was like we arrived at midday. Nothing was a problem. Fab breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Location was perfect for all the sights in the historic centre and there so many brilliant restaurants nearby.

Teilweise waren einige Dinge in die Jahre gekommen und hätten ausgetauscht werden müssen (Hauptsächlich Dichtungen im Bad) aber nicht weiter schlimm.

I fell in love with photos of this hotel, and the reality even exceeded my expectations. I took my mother with me, and we both enjoyed the comfort, the location, and the beauty of this lovely place. It is within walking distance of most sites, yet still on a very calm street.

Staff support and communication was fantastic. They texted airport pickup instructions and took care of us late at night. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The location was ideal for our brief stay. We could walk to Mosques and restaurants. I cannot say enough about the staff kindness. They are caring and knowledgeable. Also, the breakfast was wonderful. We highly recommend the Règie Ottoman Istanbul.

Fiquei num quarto de luxo, o hotel e muito bonito, o quarto tem um pe direito altissimo, e bem decorado e bonito. O pessoal faz tudo para te ajudar, tem muita boa vontade, sao gentis e eficientes. Um agradecimento especial para o Jorge e o rapaz que nos conduziu ao apartamento. O tranfer para o aeroporto tb e muito bom, vale a pena contratar, carro enorme, super confortavel. Hotel muito bem localizado, bom cafe da manha. Servico de limpeza excelente.

A unica coisa a ressaltar e que eles deveriam mudar a ducha do banho, o fluxo d’agua saia muito espalhado. Tb tem uma banheira muito alta. Acho que atende gente mais alta, o que nao e o meu caso. Eles ofereceram um outro quarto, com ducha sem banheira, mas eu nao quis trocar, pq as janelas do quarto eram tipo venezianas, muito altas, inacessiveis, o que o tornava um tanto claustrofobico. Assim, acabei me adaptando. No entanto, o espaco do banheiro, a pia etc era td muito bom e muito limpo.

We loved the very central location - both, for spending a few touristy hours, but also for business. The rooms were very clean and wonderfully designed. I particularly liked the tasteful design elements. From the first moment on, the hotel's team was extremely helpful and made us feel almost at home. Whenever we stepped into the hotel from the buzzling streets it felt like a calm oasis. I wish we had more time to enjoy breakfast and the rooms. Thanks for that.
