Good location only a few mins from central Taupo and close to a nice lake walk. Very clean and tidy - excellent shower!

Having to use a camping sink was the only slight inconvenience.

Very clean tidy.

Loved the room, bed was great we had everything we needed. . The owners were so easy to commicate with. And the ability to walk to an excellent hotel/restaurant was a bonus.

It was just a little noisy being on what seemed to be a main road.

Extremely well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The location was awesome and very private and very quiet.

No sink in the kitchen (minor detail though)

Easy to find and near shop, restaurant and lake. Well equipped and spacious unit, super comfy bed, sofa.

The room was very hot when we arrived. We had use of a fan but the windows would benefit from sun/privacy blinds to keep the temperature down during the day There is a bit of road noise from early morning & the dogs gave a 7am wake up call!

Good communication and helpful with early check in request, only stayed 1 night really happy with our booking. Very clean apartment. Would recommend this location

We were so lucky to have booked here! 🙌The hosts went out of their way to ensure a smooth arrival and kept us informed with information as needed. Even driving us to and from the event we were attending so we could have a few drinks and not have parking hassles. ❤️ The studio is cute, clean, warm and close enough to town. A shirt walk to a bar/restaurant/takeaway and a dairy for supplies is a bonus too! Highly recommend for very warm and friendly hosts who also don't invade your privacy. Thanks guys- we will defo book again.

Just a short drive from the town centre, this property was super clean and comfortable. The portable heater provided was effective in keeping the space warm on cold winter nights. Self check-in was easy and the hosts were very responsive. They also provided a comprehensive list of restaurants and activities in the area which was appreciated.

Clean, modern bathroom, easy parking, private, amazing shower pressure, info on table fantastic, food recommendations spot on, we tried some of their recommendations they were awesome, very friendly, studio was roomy and comfy, easy to find.

The bed was an awesome size but was too firm, not very comfy to sit on or sleep on, linen bedding was great, but bed itself too hard for us, we both had sore backs by 5am, a decent mattress egg foam topper would have made it exceptional as everything else was fantastic.

Very pleasant location just a short walk to the lake and general store. Comfortable and warm with incredibly friendly hosts.

Room was cosy and the bed was soooo comfy! We particularly loved our warm welcome by Honey & Oats who came round to check we were settling in ok!

Convenient location just outside the main city. The place was well set up with everything needed for a short stay. Awesome having Chromecast to connect to the TV. Not having a kitchen sink wasn’t an issue for us.

If you’re a light sleeper (like me), this isn’t the place for you. The room is located at the front of the property, very close to the main road, so the constant traffic noise from cars and trucks was disruptive throughout the night. On top of that, I could hear loud noises from upstairs (where the host lives) around 3am both mornings which woke me up. The host also leaves before 6am on weekdays, which woke me up as well. For heavy sleepers this may not be an issue, but for me it wasn't a great experience. The pillows were too soft - I think a mix of soft and firm would help. Thankfully, there was an electric blanket, as the room doesn’t have central heating (just a small heater) and being in a concrete basement, it gets quite cold once the sun goes down.

We had a very comfortable stay. Only one night but we would be happy to stay there longer. Everything was provided that we needed. Our hosts had thought of everything. We would definitely stay there again.

We didn't use it.

Just a short over night stop passing through on the trip back to Wellington. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay - it had a lock box but hosts met us as well. Super friendly, not intrusive. Well appointed and comfy. Great location and really tasteful. Even provided shopping bags for the supermarket. They thought of almost everything !

Was a hot day and lack of air conditioning was a bit of a downer at night. And if you kept the windows open to cool down the road was a bit noisey.

The location was good - very easy to find. Super SUPER clean, great friendly hosts too with quick communication. The amenities were amazing, a lovely shower and such soft soft towels!! Lots of yummy breakfast options are provided. The road is quite busy until all hours.

We stayed at Haven in Taupō studio for 2 nights with our fur baby. Great place for stop over after our long drive. Location is great, the Lake is only a few minute’s walk.

We travel with our fur baby, sadly it has no fence or deck for him to walk around. It will be nice to have a kitchen sink too.

Hosts are great - prompt response and friendly. Room is private, cosy with good space. Location of stay is very accessible to town and local attractions.

Great place with a good location, tactful hosts and everything you need for living. I really liked the tips on "where to go to eat" and "what to do nearby". We found great places with Thai cuisine.

A bit noisy due to the road traffic. Would be great to make a sink in the kitchen. But those moments are small, and the staying was great!
