Summer and her family are so welcoming. Even though they had been at this new location for only a week, everything went smoothly, the beautiful rooms were clean, relaxing and functional. We had a fabulous breakfast each morning and an excellent dinner. A very memorable stay.

Les petits déjeunés excellent. A deux pas du centre-ville dans un quartier calme. Les chambres sont magnifiques (grandes propres, spacieuses). Très belle Architecture de l'hôtel intérieure extérieure. Entreprise familiale. Toute la famille participe à la réalisation de cette entreprise. L'accueil est très chaleureux. Summer parle un français avec une très grande facilité (des discussions profonde et enrichissantes), toujours prête à nous aider. Elle propose des tours organisés, la possibilité de louer des scooters, elle a plein de connexion avec différentes personnes. Nous avons pu déguster les fruits de la région avec la famille un moment inoubliable.

Lovely homestay in calm surroundings. Summer and her family are very kind and the food is great. We rented a motorcycle so that we could explore the area. We definitely recommend if you are going to Mekong Delta.

Summer, la dueña, increíblemente preocupada de todos los detalles para que pases una excelente estancia en el lugar, desde que hacer, ayudarte a programar actividades y consejos/ayuda para conseguir tu transporte y seguir tu viaje a través del delta. La habitación una delicia realmente, desde la cama cómoda, espacio y hasta el aroma. Alternativas de desayuno variadas. Alojamiento de primer nivel.

Breakfast was excellent. There were five different options along with tea or coffee. Evening meals could be arranged and were delicious. The water filter was a real bonus. The bedroom was a very good size and the bed was comfortable. Summer was a superb host; lots of local knowledge and tips and a very good communicator before, during and after my visit. Nothing was too much trouble. The homestay is very well kept and in a quiet area but with easy access to the city. Summer has two small dogs; they are very friendly.

Virtually everything was very good. The only slight glitch was the noise from the AC in the room.

Niestety pobyt w Le Mekong Bleu bardzo nas rozczarował. Podróżowaliśmy w 3 pary. Po przyjeździe do obiektu okazało się, że warunki są zdecydowanie gorsze od oczekiwanych. Opierając się na bardzo dobrych opiniach i pieknych zdjęciach z Booking nie spodziewaliśmy się że: 2 z 3 pokoi były bez okna, o czym nie było wzmianki w opisie pokoi, łazienki były w bardzo niskim standardzie, wszędzie widoczny grzyb na ścianach i brud. Nie zostaliśmy poinformowani, że tylko w określonych godzinach jest ciepła woda ( rano niestety nie było dostępu do ciepłej wody). Chcieliśmy skorzystać z opcji wypożyczenia rowerów, ale okazało się, że ich stan techniczny był tak zły, że zrezygnowaliśmy z tego pomysłu. Podróżowaliśmy po Wietnamie 3 tygodnie i to był nasz najgorszy nocleg, a zdecydowanie nie było najtańszy. Nie polecam!

Beautiful stay for a few days in the Mekong Delta. The host family is very welcoming (the owner speaks English and French), they are very well organized and provide you with all you need for your stay, from details about tours to free bicycles to go around the area. The room rate includes breakfast with a few options, and you can also pay to have lunch and dinner cooked by the family, with delicious food. We loved how attentive they were and would recommend this homestay to everyone wishing to visit the area. :)

L'accueil par Summer, sa gentillesse, sa prévenance et ses précieux conseils pour visiter la région! Le Homestay est très charmant, légèrement excentré pour être au calme, mais son emplacement reste idéal pour rejoindre le centre ville et explorer les environs. En 3 jours sur place, nous avons pu visiter Ben Tré et ses environs (My Tho, Tra Vinh, L'île aux Escargots...). Summer nous a arrangé une location de scooter livré sur place pour un excellent prix, conseillé des visites (Chocolate farm Alluvia, Sokfarm à Tra Vinh...), et organisé un tour en bateau et pirogue sur le Mekong. Les repas sur place étaient délicieux (la cheffe est la maman de Summer et est une cuisinière hors-pair!), et nous avons pu participer à un cours de cuisine locale avec Summer et sa maman. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander Le Mekong Bleu pour votre séjour dans le Delta! Merci beaucoup à Summer et sa famille pour l'accueil 🙏

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Unterkunft war gut gelegen, um Ben Tre und die Kokosnussplantagen mit den kostenlos auszuleihenden Fahrrädern zu erkunden. Das Abendessen für umgerechnet 7€ pro Person war sehr lecker und es wurde auf unseren Wunsch hin auch ein vegetarisches Menü zubereitet.

Unser Zimmer lag direkt an der Küche, die Hunde bellten oft und es wurde abends geflext, so dass es recht laut war. Das kontinentale Frühstück war sehr spärlich (ein Brötchen, Spiegelei, Butter und eine Banane) und konnte mit dem Abendessen nicht mithalten.

La famiglia ospite è gentilissima e disponibile. All’arrivo ci hanno offerto dell’ottimo caffè filtro vietnamita. Il cibo, tipico vietnamita, è delizioso e tutto preparato in casa con amore. La nostra camera era ampia e molto bella. Unico consiglio è di verificare in anticipo su che letti dormirete in quanto i matrimoniali sono comodi ma se finite su un piccolo divano letto e il vostro soggiorno dura più di 24h rischiate di stare un po’ scomodi. Prenotate due camere piuttosto. Alla fine del soggiorno ci hanno aiutate con pazienza a prenotare il nostro bus per la destinazione successiva. Raccomandato per dei giorni di serenità nella natura :)

The whole place is beautiful and peaceful with a really cute common area where you instantly feel welcome. The hosts are really helpful and give plenty of suggestions for places to eat, things to see and do. Fantastic breakfast, tea and coffee available all day so you can help yourself. Everything was great and would highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful stay at Le Mekong Blue Homestay. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. They were also very helpful in arranging activities, including a memorable boat ride through the Mekong Delta, which was a highlight of my trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing place to rest after a day of exploring. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area.

La chambre est très humide avec de la moisissure sur les murs. La salle de bain est vraiment vétuste. Cette chambre ne devrait pas être proposée même pour une nuit et 22€.

Summer parle très bien le français. Un excellent accueil avec le temps nécessaire. Elle nous a conseillé sur nos activités, les itinéraires en réservant aussi le taxi, le scooter et l’excursion sur la rivière. Nos deux dîners étaient parfaits et bien cuisinés.

Summer and her family really take care of you. Breakfasts were nice, you can pick out of 4 or 5 options. I had 2 dinners there in their garden - both were outstanding. Summer goes out of her way to help you with special requests.

Summer and her family are so welcoming and friendly, it makes you feel right at home in their home. All the meals we had (5 in 2 days) were exceptional - the most delicious Vietnamese food we've had in the last 3 weeks travelling around the country. Proper home cooking, made with love.

Summer und ihre ganze Familie sind sehr nett. Sie helfen und unterstützen bei allen Fragen und Problemen. Das selbst gekochte Essen ist sehr lecker und authentisch. Insgesamt wird einem das geboten, was man von einem typisch vietnamesischen Homestay erwartet - man lebt bei und mit einer Familie vor Ort.

Nach unserer Wahrnehmung unterscheidet sich die Qualität der Zimmer enorm. Unser Dreibettzimmer war sauber, aber sehr klein und das Bad war sanierungsbedürftig und entsprach nicht den Fotos und unseren Erwartungen für den von uns gezahlten Preis.

Überdurchschnittlich toll ist die Freudlichkeit von der Gastgeberin Summer. Sie gibt Tipps und fragt jederzeit nach wie es einem geht. 10/10 sehr große Gastfreundschaft. Deshalb ist es auch nicht leicht hier eine ehrliche Kritik zu schreiben, weil die ganze Familie wirklich sehr lieb ist. Außerdem schmeckt das Frühstück meistens sehr gut und das Abendessen war sehr lecker und authentisch. Man darf sich außerdem Obst und Kaffee/Tee kostenlos nehmen.

Leider haben wir uns die Unterkunft ganz anders vorgestellt. Auf den Fotos sieht alles sehr schick aus und wie eine kleine Oase. In echt ist es leider nicht so. Besonders die Badezimmer sind kaputt und schimmelig. Dort zu duschen oder die Toilette zu benutzen ist nicht angenehm. Die Betten sind zu kurz und sehr sehr hart. Es fehlen gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten im Innenhof. Die Fotos spiegeln einfach nicht die Realität wieder, das muss man leider ehrlich sagen. Zudem war das mit dem Frühstück auch kompliziert. Von 4 Tagen haben wir 2 mal etwas anderes zum Frühstück bekommen als wir wollten. Da man auch nicht undankbar sein möchte, haben wir dann das genommen, was gebracht wurde aber es war ärgerlich, wenn man danach nochmal frühstücken gehen muss.

Tout était très bien dans l'ensemble. Surtout les repas proposés qui sont très bons et locaux. C'était super. Et en plus l'hôtesse parle français donc c'est rassurant. Elle sest chargé de réserver le bus aller et retour donc plus qu'à suivre les instructions. Super!!

Un peu dommage de faire un circuit à seulement 3 et donc payer le prix fort alors que nous étions 5 et aurions pu tous prendre le même bateau. Ce sera mon seul bémol

Séjour incroyable au Mekong Bleu ! Si vous passez par Ben Tre pour découvrir le delta du Mékong, c’est l’endroit idéal où séjourner. Summer est une hôte exceptionnelle, d’une gentillesse rare, et elle parle couramment français — un vrai plus pour les voyageurs francophones. Son excursion en bateau est superbe et la cuisine familiale, faite maison par sa maman ou sa tante, est absolument délicieuse. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter !

Homestay convivial, l’hôte parle français. Ils proposent toutes les activités en groupe privé (un peu plus cher). Des vélos sont mis à notre dispositions ainsi que du thé, café, fruits gratuits dans la cuisine.

Le dîner est bon mais il est surprise et à un prix unique assez élevé, on ne peut ni choisir la quantité ni le plat ce qui est dommage car ça peut engendrer du gâchis alimentaire. Douche collée au WC

The location was a little out of the town centre in a beautiful area amongst nature. The area could be reached by a shuttle bus, organised by the host and both the town and countryside/river areas could be easily accessed using the free bicycles. Summer, The Host, is such a beautiful person who had prepared information for us to make the most of our stay and was very happy to answer any additional questions in her fluent English. The home was comfortable and wonderfully styled to capture the essence of an authentic Vietnam experience. Everything was beyond our expectations - food was delicious, catered for special food request, bedding was clean and comfortable, setting was quiet and had access to air conditioning, use of kitchen. What more could you ask for?Summer is a generous, welcoming person. Her compassion towards her pet dog, who she had rescued from a dangerous and uncomfortable situation, was so heartwarming. We enjoyed every second of the time we were fortunate to spend at this beautiful homestay and hope to return one day. Thanks so much for your exceptional kindness, insight and generosity, Summer.

I had a lovely one night stay here, I arrived early in the morning and was given a room which I really appreciated after a long night of travelling. Summer and her family were great hosts and extremely helpful. There are bicycles which are free to use which are a lovely way to see the countryside. It is a little outside of the city in a quiet area but is easily accessed with a bicycle or grab.

Beaucoup de supers avis et je me demandais ce qu'avait cet endroit de si spécial, et j'ai vite compris en arrivant. Summer, hôte de cette maison, est absolument géniale: conseils précieux, propositions de balades en vélo et tours en bateau (à ne pas louper c'était super), grande aide en cas de problème et pour la suite de mon voyage. Et en plus de ça l'hôtel est vraiment très chouette, et le dîner cuisiné par sa famille un vrai régal. M'enfin bref, merci merci encore Summer pour ces quelques jours à Ben Tré, le Mékong Bleu à rendu mon séjour vraiment fabuleux ! :)

La ubicación es perfecta, no estas apartado ni en la ciudad. En bici es muy accesible, son gratis aunque viejas. El alojamiento es tipo bed & breakfast, muy agradable toda la información que te da Summer, desde tours, restaurantes y consejos. 2 días mejor que 1.

En nuestra habitación la ducha se puede cambiar esta muy vieja.

Quiet and green area yet close to eating areas, a pretty house and garden, the charming host Ms. Ha. We appreciated the hospitality of Ha and her family. She was also so kind to give us a room upgrade.

J’ai été particulièrement déçue… les photos et les avis m’ont tout de suite donné envie de venir séjourner dans cet endroit… loin de la ville certes mais sans l’intérêt de la campagne… la chambre était sale (trace de rouge à lèvres sur les murs, poils dans le lavabo de la SDB), les photos de la chambre et la SDB donnent l’illusion que tout est « neuf »… la SDB était vétuste et sale… j’aurais adoré mettre un avis positif compte tenu de la gentillesse de notre hôte mais c’est beaucoup trop cher compte tenu des prestations (même le petit déjeuner n’était pas à la hauteur)

We hebben genoten van ons vierdaagse verblijf in Le Mekong Bleu. Een fijne kamer met goede airco. Een goed ontbijt, waarbij we de keuze hadden uit soep, rijst of brood met jam. Het diner was echt heerlijk en een goede kennismaking met de Vietnamese keuken. Summer is een prima gastvrouw, met goede tips over wat er in de omgeving te doen is, maar zeker niet te opdringerig. Ze wordt ondersteund door moeder en tante die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het eten. We hebben gebruik gemaakt van de gratis fietsen om daarmee de omgeving te verkennen Kortom een echte aanrader om hier te verblijven

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Summer. Le chambre 1 est superbe, grande, spacieuse, une salle de bain avec douche et baignoire, et une belle terrasse privée. Summer est adorable et peut nous aider à organiser des activités comme une sortie en bateau sur le Mékong avec découvertes des cocoteraies qui nous a enchanté. Elle nous laisse à disposition des vélos, et l’utilisation de la machine à laver le linge ce qui est bien pratique. Nous avons pu réserver les repas du soirs, confectionner par la tante et la mère de Summer. C est vraiment délicieux et ce sont des plats que nous ne retrouvons pas forcément en mangeant dehors. La logement est à 10 min à vélo du centre.

Kindness and helpfulness host, super quite and clean location, perfect to escape from the frenetic life of the city and explore the county side by bike.

L'endroit est vraiment joli : une charmante maison découpée en plusieurs parties proche de la nature et de la rivière, avec de la verdure. L'emplacement est parfait : on reste dans la campagne avec le centre ville accessible à pied, à vélo, en scooter. Il y a des balades sympas à faire autour. Summer, la propriétaire, est adorable et aux petits soins, elle a organisé notre séjour avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de générosité. Foncez dans cette auberge, c'est génial et inoubliable !

I liked everything about this place. Summer and her family have been amazing hosts, they were there if I needed anything and thoughtful to the guests needs. The house was clean, great wifi, and a lot of furniture was handmade. Summer was available and very willing to talk about anything, really enjoyed our talks. Can't recommend this place enough!

Everything! The whole property is absolutely lovely and we felt at home. It’s so peaceful! Summer was the perfect host; we were provided with lots of information/recommendations and she also helped to book us a tour/onward travel. We ate some amazing food during our stay and made use of the bikes that were available.

The place is about 3-4km from the main town but this wasn’t an issue for us as we used the bikes and also taxis are available. It made the stay more peaceful! There are plenty of places to eat/drink nearby.

Summer was an incredibly helpful and attentive host. She gave us a lot of advice about the area, booked us a taxi and there were free bikes to use. We had a delicious home cooked meal at Mekong Bleu and it was beautiful that it is a family run establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Summer was the perfect host welcoming us to her lovely family home. She was absolutely charming with faultless English and even better French. She gave really helpful information about the area, arranged a great boat trip to river islands seeing rural life and crafts and scooter ride. The home cooking by mother and aunt was superb, so fresh and catering to our different preferences. The house was spotless and cool with a lovely garden and we enjoyed the spacious room with terrace. To eat out we recommend CocoSeafood only ten minutes walk away - we had great shrimp, o toys, bird fish. All in all we had a wonderful stay - thank you Summer, Tina and family!

Very nice, familiar homestay in the middle of the greenery of Ben Tre. Summer and her family are very lovely, caring and helpful. She is well prepared for her guests with lots of tips for the surrounding area, such as cycling routes, restaurants, boat trips... We did everything with the bicycles, which are available free of charge. The city center is about 10 minutes by bike (via bridge 1 - but you have to carry the bikes up and down a few stairs). The city is bigger and busier than you might first think. You can find everything here. We didn't regret our decision to stay in a somewhat remote and quiet location. Our room was well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the small terrace. There is also a shared kitchen, fridge, drinkable water etc. available. In the morning there was a homemade breakfast that you order the day before (there are also vegetarian options). There is the option for homemade lunch and dinner, but we didn't use this as we were out a lot and had already eaten. The bed is rather hard - we like it, but it may not be for everyone.

The bed makes loud noises when you turn over. That would be easy to fix and would add another level of comfort. But that's all we have to „complain“ about.

We enjoyed staying at this homestay. We had the room with terrace to the garden area (also main entrance). The room was huge, with lovely high ceilings and classy furniture. The bathroom was large and had both a shower and bath. The owner and her family run the place and were very friendly, open and accomodating. The homestay is located close enough to the center of Ben Tre (other side of the river) and 15-20min walking distance also from restaurants and bars on both sides of the river. We enjoyed the breakfast (Vietnamese and Western-style) had a nice bike ride through the rice paddies (on the complementary, be it very basic and rundown, bikes at the house), and enjoyed a lovely morning boat tour on the Mekong with private guide - arranged by the host.

The bed was much too hard for me (nearly all beds in Vietnam were). There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. At full moon and high tide, the area surrounding the homestay is flooded by the Mekong river's water. Twice, upon returning to the homestay in the evening we had wet feet and shoes, which was very unpleasant. Cleanliness of room overall ok but the devil is in the details.

Very friendly, welcoming host. Lots of information given on arrival. Nice big room. Able to use washing machine. Normally quiet location. Very good tasty evening meal all freshly cooked. Good information about local bike ride and restaurants.

I think the description on the we could be a little more informative. Eg I thought the yoga was on the premises but apparently it is in the town centre. Also, the description gives the impression that the hottub was for everyone's use but in effect it's only for use by occupants of the front room. It is not actually a hottub but a bath tub with hydraulic jets. It also mentions 'restaurant' in description but should be made clear that it is the option of you requesting a home made meal to be eaten on the terrace. These are very small things that just need slightly different wording and do not effect the overall enjoyment.

The house was lovely and clean. The location is away from the busy area making it nice and quiet.

Summer and her family treated us as one of their own family. It was an amazing stay at Lê Mékong Bleu. Summer helped us with the organization of the bus from and to Saigon, with a very pleasant tour of the delta on a boat and suggested a great itinerary for a bike tour around the countryside of Ben Tre. The cherry on top was a very good breakfast and the chance to enjoy a homecooked dinner at the homestay. It was lovely, I can not suggest enough staying in Ben Tre and especially at Summer's homestay

Simply wonderful! A very loving homestay with spacious, clean rooms. We had a very large bathroom, and it was incredibly quiet and relaxing. The entire house is designed and decorated with great taste and style. The best part of staying here, of course, is the amazing lady of the house: Summer. She is incredibly warm, professional, and does everything to make your stay enjoyable. You absolutely must take her offer to try her home-cooked dinner and breakfast. We had an excellent stay at Le Mékong Bleu, Summer and her family made us feel very welcome and made our visit to Ben Tre very special. Summer and her family were incredibly helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Summer was also able to communicate fluent English.We were offered lots of advice about the local area. Rooms are charming, spacious, clean and well equipped. The common areas are beautiful and peaceful! We only recommend Le Mekong Blue :-)
