La salle de bain est vétusté et mal entretenue. La robinetterie tient par miracle. L eau de la douche est mal évacuée et fuit partout. Le chauffe eau fuyait sur les toilettes. Le gérant s est contente d essuyer... Les draps étaient taches Pas de lumière douce, un seul éclairage aveuglant

Die Lage ist praktisch und top, die Straße des Hotels süß. Viele Massagesalons sind nah, man ist schnell am See und überall sonst auch im Old Quater - das gilt wohl aber für alle Hotels in der Gegend. Das Hotelpersonal war stets freundlich. Die Rezeption war zwar nicht durchgehend besetzt, aber da eine Nummer hinterlegt ist, kann man immer wen erreichen.

Ich glaube das, was den Aufenthalt für mich am ungemütlichsten gemacht hat, war die Hellhörigkeit. Ich fühlte mich als seien nicht nur die Fenster durchgehend geöffnet, sondern auch die Zimmertür. Alles auf der Straße (Menschen, Autos, Hupen) war durchgehend laut und auch alles im Hotel war zu hören. Die Matratze war auch nicht sehr bequem aber der Lärm war es eher, der mir das Schlafen erschwert hat. Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der Vorhang nicht mehr an allen Stellen angebracht, aber es war an sich trotzdem nicht schmutzig, ein wenig staubig, aber hauptsächlich eben etwas alt. Für die Kakerlaken kann das Hotel nichts, die fühlen sich nunmal in diesem Klima wohl, erschrocken habe ich mich dennoch. Meine Bewertung von 6 liegt daran, dass ich mich allgemein im Zimmer nicht sehr wohl gefühlt habe.

The hotel is in a central area very close to St Joseph's Cathedral. This is the only positive aspect of this accommodation. They also provide drinking water on a daily basis. All the rest was very disappointing.

The mattress and the pillows were extremely hard. Linen and towels were visibly worn out. The worst was the bathroom (see attached photos): the basin has been leaking on the floor throughout the 4 nights we have been there. Staff said three times they had fixed it; however, as soon as we opened the tap, water was leaking on the floor. The door frame was partly missing; the window door frame and sill were like they were under construction; the outside of the shower arm was broken (and, however, it did not work); the flush toilet button was partly broken and rusty all over. The reception was very often unattended, and we had to wait a long time to get someone. The staff spoke barely any English and was not helpful with tours or other information. He barely said hello. The hotel is listed as a three star. But it lacks the basics for welcoming paying guests with dignity

Close to places we wanted to go to and plenty of food options and laundry around. The staff were friendly.

Pour moi tout était correct! Juste les personnes ultra exigeantes auront des choses à redire.

La gentillesse et la flexibilité de l’hôte . On a pu laisser nos bagages pour un trekking à Sapa. Et le jour de notre départ l’hôte nous a mis à disposition des douches pour un départ pour l’aéroport à 22h00.

Tout était bien

The location is excellent, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in process pleasant. Although the hotel feels a bit older, the room was generally okay and functional. The bed was quite hard, but after the first night we got used to it and were able to sleep peacefully.

Considering the price compared to typical standards in Vietnam, we expected a more modern and updated hotel. The property overall feels like it has stayed in the past and could benefit from renovation. The room also looked quite old, and unfortunately it wasn’t as clean as we would have expected. Housekeeping could definitely be more thorough. There was noticeable noise from outside, so you could hear the street through the windows. It didn’t disturb our sleep too much, but if you are a very light sleeper, it’s something to keep in mind. The biggest downside was the extremely weak water pressure in the shower. It was so low that taking a proper shower was quite difficult and uncomfortable.

Our worst stay in Vietnam in years. No sound proofing whatsoever- the street is so loud you can only sleep between 2 and 6am. Hot water was absent for 2 days. Shower overflowing into bathroom. Toilet uncomfortably raised. The lighting throughout the room is poor, and the mattress and pillows are so hard you better not turn and twist. The mini fridge leaked into a deep puddle. And the floor was always dirty. And the curtains don't cover all of the light so you need an eye mask.

Super old, broken things, didn’t seem clean, triple room extremely loud with exhaust from hotel (?kitchen?) directly on front door that was loud all the time and never stopped.

Room 508 was clean and looked recently updated, with a new bed and AC, but the bathroom completely let it down. The shower pressure was terrible and there was an unpleasant smell.

Close to hospital

The room is spacious but poorly ventilated. There is no wardrobe, one of the light bulbs doesn’t work, the room smells damp and musty, and the mattress cover is old.

Shower was leaking continuously which made the room very moist. The floor was dirty.

Great location, spacious rooms. Situated in a less noisy area but it remains close enough for convenient access to key attractions. Also, we were impressed with the service provided by the receptionist. He was very helpful and good at speaking english. He helped us booked a grab ride, and even went with one of us to the main road to look for taxis since most grab drivers cancelled our booking. Thanks to him we made it on time for our scheduled bus ride.

Er was veel geluid ‘s nachts, dus we hebben 2x moeten vragen of er rustiger gepraat kon worden.

The best things about this hotel are the position, fantastic, near Hoan Kiem lake and both the Old and the French quarters, and most of all, Mrs. Thuy, the owner: she's an incredible host, very easy to communicate with and very good and responsive at organizing your activities.

Two very minor things: breakfast is average at most and the room could have been looked after better. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend the place!

Location was good

The room was dirty and pretty cold at night. Internet connection didn t work the first day and the remote had to be replaced as it wasn t working either (when I asked the staff to help me with that I was asked if I really wanted to watch television...)

Camera ampia e pulita, per la nostra famiglia con 2 figli di 9 e 12 anni. Posizione centralissima, a 2 passi dalla Cattedrale di Hanoi e da molti posti dove è possibile mangiare. Chiedendo organizzano anche il trasferimento da/verso l'aeroporto. Consigliatissimo.

The room spacey, they have 3 hotel at the same alley, if you wanna get a good information in English you have to come to no.1 hotel they qill help you, the other hotel receptionist not so good on English. The bedover and sheet are clean although there:s a stain.

這裏的地理位置絕佳，走路到教堂只須要一分鐘，喜歡步行感受河內風情的遊客，住這裏真的很方便，到還劍湖.火車街或昇龍皇城我們都徒步前往。 工作人員友善，方間乾凈空間大，每天整理房間，價格便宜，還有電梯，非常滿意。 飯店服務非常好，從台灣到達河內機場，飯店幫忙叫了車到達飯店，為我們搬運行旅到電梯，也協住我們訂了下龍灣豪華巴士一日遊行程，真的很滿意，在這住了四晚。

Very close to Church and all the happenings in Old Quater. Manager Thuy was very helpful and supportive. Initially booked for two days but because of staff support, stayed for 5 five days.

엘리베이터가 반층 올라가야 있고, 반층 내려와야 탈 수 있다. 캐리어를 들고는 상당히 무리였다. 사실상 사람은 탈 수 없는 엘리베이터였다. 정문 사진이 달랐다. 다른 건물에 다른 이름의 호텔이 있었고, 그 호텔 정문을 가져다 썼다. 다른 호텔 정문 사진을 보면, 반층 올라가야 탈 수 있는 엘리베이터 구조가 상상되지 않는다. 원래 정문 사진을 가져다 놓으면 엘리베이터 구조를 이해하게 된다.

The location is excellent in a small street that runs beside St Joseph’s cathedral. The rooms are quiet, spacious and comfortable and there is a lift.

All the hotel signs say “Capital Hotel”. There are 2 Capital Hotels in the street, on opposite sides. A little confusing but you should just look for the street number.

Somos repetidores del Hotel, así que solo con eso os podéis imaginar. :)

Thiết bị nhà vệ sinh cũ. Nhà vệ sinh mùi cống hôi. Không có bồn tắm như trên web. Cửa sổ phía sau nước tù rất hôi bẩn.

Nous avions réservé pour deux nuits puis sommes finalement restés 5 nuits, ils ont gardé nos bagages pendant notre croisière sur la baie d'ha Long, Nous avions une chambre au 5 ème étage, spacieuse et fonctionnelle, L'hôtel est très bien situé dans un quartier très agréable et proche de tout à pieds Nous recommandons cet hôtel pour un séjour à Hanoï !

Even though i wrote that i will check in early, hotel wanted more money for early check-in at 11 o’clock.

When we arrived, the staff was approachable and friendly, helping us with our luggage. We also had free early check-in. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing location

Perfect location in the Old Quarter, 1 minute away from the St. Joseph’s Cathedral but not too busy. Tu Vu will help you organise any trip that you want to do and he is very good at his job, he knew our itinerary better than we did! We spent most mornings chatting to him before we started the day, and we will return to this hotel on our next trip to Hanoi purely for him. The hotel is very clean and feels luxury for the price. Highly recommend

Perfect location, close to the old quarter but also walking distance to other attractions in Hanoi. Manager was very nice and helpful. Room was very big and the beds were comfortable.

The guy on reception is a top bloke. Helps you out with alot of things, including buses etc. Great location, there's a lift (elevator for americans) and big rooms!
