H Boutique Casa Noma-Noma Holbox

Le personnel est très accueillant et très gentil. Le logement et les équipements étaient superbe aussi.

De kamer met zeezicht was echt super! Onwijs mooie kamer met heerlijke ruime badkamer en leuk balkon met uitzicht op zee en de zonsondergang. Een relaxte sfeer hing er en we hebben echt kunnen ontspannen hier! Ook erg schoon. Wij hebben hier heerlijk verbleven!

Wat we minder vonden was dat we ons niet helemaal op ons gemak voelde met de hostes. Er werd weinig aan ons uitgelegd of verteld. Onder andere was het ontbijt inclusief wat tegen viel. We kregen wat fruit met koffie en keihard brood, verder voor bijvoorbeeld een ei of iets anders moest je bij betalen. Wij vonden dit niet passend met de kosten die je hiervoor uitgeeft. We kregen een dag een yoghurtje erbij maar de andere dag was dat kleine yoghurtje zelfs op voordat we aankwamen. Ook het zwembad hebben we niet kunnen gebruiken omdat er blijkbaar iemand woont in de kamer naast het zwembad. Beetje vreemd vonden wij, dus dat was iets wat ongemakkelijk voor ons.

The attention to detail and friendliness of the staff was amazing. Is the kind of service you get in a super expensive bouquet hotel, without the price tag. Also, it's a super short walking distance to the one of the most beautiful sides of holbox. You won't regret to stay here. 😉

The hotel itself is beautiful with incredible architecture. The rooms were incredibly clean and we loved our balcony, and the way that the doors of the bedroom would open up fully so that we could let the sea breeze in. It was really close to one of the best beaches on Holbox. The staff were super friendly and breakfast every morning was really tasty. I loved all the different animal shapes that they would fold our towels into every day. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Our stay was great. The only thing to bear in mind is that the hotel is a 30-40min walk away from the main town where you will find more restaurants etc. There are a small selection about a 10 mins walk away though. But for us this was a good trade off as it meant that we were closer to one of the most beautiful beaches (5 mins walk)

Et lille Boutique hotel med 6 værelser. Placering er rigtig fint og med den flotteste udsigt fra 2. sal. Der ligger 3 værelser på hver sal og de er lavet lidt som bungalows med glas over det hele - man kan godt føle at man er lidt udsat selvom der er gardiner man kan trække for. Men selve værelset er lækkert indrettet, dog til den lille side og der mangler skabe til sit tøj, der er ikke et klædeskab, men en enkel stang, man an hænge sit tøj på, bare kun overdele, da der er nogen under. Søde og rare mennesker som arbejder der.

Jeg synes det er svært at bo et sted, hvor de kun taler og forstår spansk - der er kun 1 ansat, som kan engelsk og hun var væk flere af de dage, hvor vi var der. Vi kunne godt have brugt en info omkring hvordan morgenmad foregår og hvad man kan få. Vi satte os den første morgen og kunne se, at der var et lille bord med morgenmadsprodukter, som cornflakes mm, sytetøj, muffins, yoghurt og mælk. De kom og spurgte om vi ville have frugt og kaffe eller te. Vi fik kaffe og frugt og senere kom de og spurgte om vi ville have æg og hvordan de skulle tilberedes - da vi havde det blev vi spurgt om vi vile have dagens ret, som kunne være toast med avokado, spanske retter og det var super fint og lækre ting, men ærgerligt at vi ikke vidste hvordan det skulle foregå og der var tit misforståelser, fordi der var en sprogbarrie. Man skal være ok gående for at bo der, da man skal gå op af trapper til sit værelse og den er ikke bred og slynger sig op af den søjle. Vi synes prisen for at bo der er for høj ift til det man ellers kan finde på Holbox, det er udfra placering og hvad der er af facliteter på hotellet. Morgenmaden smager rigtig dejligt, men er lidt en udfordring. Poolen er ikke en man lige hopper i - den ser ikke særlig rengjort ud, så vi brugte den ikke. Der var også kun 2 liggestole omkring den. Stedet kunne være rigig fint, hvis man optimerede nogle enkelte steder.

Die Toilette in Zimmer war ohne Tür oder Trennwand, was etwas unangenehm sein kann, wenn man mit anderen Personen im Zimmer ist und die Toilette benutzen möchte.

This place feels like a dream! After arriving, we instantly felt relaxed. We were shown the surrounding from the hotel roof where you can see how close the ocean is. The room was beautiful and the view out of the window amazing! We woke up to birdsongs and the sound of the wind in the leaves. The breakfast was delicious and the staff so friendly and helpful. Since the place is further out, you are far away from the party zone which we loved. You are also in walking distance to the bioluminescence beach where you can go by yourself or by a tour. We loved our time here! Thank you to all of the lovely staff members!

That we did not stay longer.

What a gift Sylvia and her team have created in Casa Noma Noma. The care and attention to detail is evident in every space of the hotel. The rooms and common areas are beautifully designed and extremely clean. The breakfast is outstanding and changes daily, served on beautiful custom Mexican ceramics that make the whole experience feel even more special. The location is perfect. It sits on the quieter side of Holbox, yet is just a one minute walk to the beach and within easy reach of several others. Our family of four (kids 5 and 7) are repeat visitors to Holbox and have stayed at several wonderful properties on the island. After discovering Casa Noma Noma, this will absolutely be our place going forward. We will return again and again. Our children loved it just as much as we did. Peaceful, serene, inspiring and energizing. Places like this are rare. You can feel the intention behind it. Thank you for having us.

Nos encantó alojarnos en este hotel. Es un hotel pequeño, con solo 6 habitaciones, lo que hace que la estancia sea muy tranquila y casi privada. Muchas veces tienes la sensación de estar solo, incluso en la piscina, ya que por los horarios apenas coincides con otros huéspedes. El hotel es precioso y está decorado con mucho gusto. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y muy cuidado. Además, ofrecen agua durante toda la estancia, algo que se agradece mucho en Holbox, ya que no se puede beber agua del grifo. La ubicación también nos gustó mucho. No está en el centro, lo que hace que la zona sea muy tranquila, y la playa está a solo unos 3 minutos caminando. Desde esa zona se pueden ver algunos de los mejores atardeceres de la isla. El desayuno está muy bien y además lo van variando cada día, lo cual se agradece si te quedas varias noches. Pero sin duda lo mejor del hotel es el personal: son excepcionalmente amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte con cualquier cosa que necesites.

Como único punto a mejorar, por la noche entra bastante luz por las ventanas y a veces se escucha el ruido de los taxis que pasan con la música bastante alta. En general, ha sido una experiencia maravillosa y ojalá podamos volver pronto.

El hotel es muy bonito, las habitaciones son muy cómodas y la limpieza es excelente. La terraza es ideal para relajarse y además hay unas esterillas que utilizamos para entrenar por las mañanas. Cada día nos dejaban dos botellas de agua grandes y también había una fuente de agua en la terraza. La piscina es ideal, una zona muy bonita y relajante, además nos invitaron a piña colada y nos pareció un detalle muy amable. Tanto la propietaria como los empleados son muy agradables, especialmente las señoras que nos atendían en el desayuno. Esta un poco alejado del centro pero la zona nos pareció perfecta, super tranquila y a 2 minutos de la playa. La zona de playa que está al lado del hotel es ideal, a penas había gente y el mar se veía espectacular. Hay opciones de restaurantes y beach clubs cerca del hotel o también se puede ir dando un paseo al centro, a nosotros nos encantó la ubicación y fuimos andando a todas partes.

Krásný čistý hotel, velmi klidné a čisté místo. Hotel se nachází kousek od krásné klidné pláži. Velmi bohatě a chutné snídaně a milý personál. Jasmina tomu dodává velmi rodinnou atmosféru. Určitě bych zvolila příští návštěvu Holbox ten samý hotel.

Das Zimmer was ziemlich klein und hatte wenig Ablageflächen.

La struttura e le camere sono molto belle; la posizione è molto vicina Punta Coco, e anche il centro si raggiunge con una passeggiata (o con i 4739293&4&3@2922 taxi che girano costantemente per l’isola)

Non c’è mai nessuno alla reception. Se hai bisogno di qualcosa, devi scrivere su whatsapp e prima o poi qualcuno risponderà. C’erano nella mia stanza delle cose non perfettamente pulite il primo giorno e alla fine della permanenza erano ancora lì. Sono salita sul “rooftop”, che potrebbe essere uno spazio per gli ospiti molto gradevole, e c’erano divani e cose di plastica buttate in giro. Niente di grave, ma visto che non costa poco mi aspetterei qualcosa di più. Devo dire che tutta l’isola mi ha dato l’impressione di sfruttare la sua bellezza senza mettere cura nelle cose.

We loved Casa Noma Noma! It is on the quiet end of the island, is beautiful and peaceful and the entire property, including the room, felt so comfy and clean. We were worried about bugs but the rooms were so clean and bug free (minus an occasional fun gecko every once in a while!) Some highlights: The nicest, most helpful people working there Yummy breakfast!! REALLY comfortable beds Very clean room Wonderful sleep

We loved everything - the only thing to mention is because it is only 6 rooms (which we loved), if there is a loud guest nearby, it is hard to avoid. We had a family of 3 young children next door and they were very loud and felt like they were staying with us :-) But not the hotel's fault at all!

Beautiful family-run boutique hotel, it really looks like shown in the pictures. We loved our 3 night stay and would have loved to stay longer. Nice breakfast, clean rooms with super comfy beds and a beautiful view from the bed with a big glass front ( and curtains if you want your privacy). Hammocks and a little patio in front of every room, little garden to hang out. Felt like a little oasis within the hotel jungle on the island. The staff was super friendly. We loved especially the decoration.

There is so much construction on Holbox right now - it makes all the neighborhoods super noisy during the day. It’s very fine sand, so it gets EVERYWHERE. There is no closet in the rooms and not enough space to put your suitcase down AND use the room for anything other than sleeping. I had hoped to work out in the rooms. Wifi is middling - it was hard to stream or do calls.

Very disappointing service and location. We were really disappointed with the service at this hotel. We had to pay for bicycles even though we only used them for a few minutes. When it was pouring rain, they refused to lend us an umbrella. They told us breakfast was available until 11:00, but when we arrived at that time, everything was already closed. There were no yoga classes or activities as shown in the photos. The location is also very far from the center, which makes it really difficult when it rains. Overall, the service and experience were much worse than in other places we’ve stayed. Definitely not worth the price.

Great attention to details and we loved the variety especially that it reflected Mexican traditional food. The fresh juices and tasty pressed coffee were a delight! The serenity of the eating area was the perfect start to the day!

The location was distant from the local attractions and restaurants but also enabled us to disconnect once we arrived at the Casa at the end of the day. We enjoyed the rooftop pool options with impressive sunsets that surrounded Casa Noma-Noma and made new friends at Risky Time and La Cabane restaurants. Great drinks and fabulous food! This also gave us a chance to walk and discover the beautiful island of Holbox. The proximity to Punta Cocos is a major PLUS! One thing to keep in mind is to bring some good insect repellent.

L'établissement est très beau, très cosy, bohème chic. Il est bien placé, proche de la mer et assez loin du centre pour éviter le bruit de la circulation (assez dense). Le petit déjeuner est plutôt mieux qu'ailleurs. Plus varié et plus copieux. La piscine est très agréable/

Todo muy bien, quizá la alberca un poquitin sucia pero nada del otro mundo.

El hotel es precioso, las camas muy cómodas y las almohadas se notan de calidad, todo muy cuidado y limpio hasta las cortinas olían genial. El trato muy bueno y siempre dispuestos para lo que necesitáramos, nos hicieron el favor de adelantarnos el desayuno dos horas por una excursión que teníamos muy temprano.

Lo único que está un poco apartado del centro y tienes que ir en buggy o bici, aunque te permite disfrutar de la naturaleza y tranquilidad.

Casa Noma Noma está bien, es verdad que está en una zona alejada y muy tranquila, nos movíamos siempre con taxi, porque la zona tiene mucho mosquito y es imposible ir andando o en bicicleta. El desayuno muy bueno pero un poco escaso en variedad.

Eran un poco descuidados a la hora de hacer las habitaciones, entraban muchos mosquitos, un día se dejaron nuestra puerta abierta y teníamos un ratón en la habitación, es lo de menos pero nuestra habitación se quedó abierta y cualquiera hubiera podido entrar.

Omar and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and nice. We had a small problem during our stay, not due to the hotel but more to a local agency, and they have been making everything possible (and more) to help us live at best the island. Really really can’t thank them enough! The structure is new and clean and breakfast is very very good.

Position isn’t ideal, as it’s a bit remote but without all the services needed to stay mostly in the hotel (f.e private beach or restaurant), especially in wet season when it’s not easy to move on the island.

Sitio idílico para descansar y reconectar con la naturaleza. Omar nos ayudó en todo y nos facilitó toda la información, nos sentimos como en casa. El personal de casa Noma-Noma es increíble e hizo nuestra estancia muchísimo más impresionante. Gracias a todos, volveremos!

L'originalité de la décoration de l'hôtel. La gentillesse du personnel capable de répondre à toutes vos demandes. Un vrai coin de paradis pas loin de punta coco, et à 20 min du centre à pied.

Un accueil très chaleureux avec des renseignements sur l’île utiles, des échanges via whatsapp pratiques et efficaces! Merci à Omar pour sa gentillesse et son accueil!! L’hôtel est très charmant avec une décoration soignée qui invite au calme et au repos. Il est situé à 25min à pieds du centre, un peu loin mais aussi très appréciable car au calme et proche de la pointe Sud qui accueille de nombreux flamands roses pour notre plus grand plaisir!

Profitez vite de ce lieu paisible, de nombreuses constructions de grands complexes apparaissent et le balai incessant des taxi bruyants nuisent un peu à la tranquillité de cette île très charmante!

Imperdible

Hemos finalizado nuestra luna de miel en Noma Noma y ha sido sin duda una excelente elección. Cada rincón está cuidadosamente diseñado, integrándose con la naturaleza. Todo el equipo Dani, Omar y Angie fueron muy atentos en todo.

The mosquitos! But that isn't the property's fault or responsibility. Nothing that unusual but come prepared (in early summer).

Casa Noma Noma is a unique property designed for relaxation and a quiet stay. Marcela and her team were very friendly and treated us like family. Noma Noma and Punta Cocos are so peaceful; the airy suites offer stunning views and lovely decor. I enjoyed the handmade soap in the bathroom and the eco-friendliness of the hotel. The private patio was my favorite, with a table and hammock to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. The pool is perfect for cooling off after exploring. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and Marcela arranged great massages on our balcony. There's a beautiful beach just a 2-minute walk away at Agua De Coco beach club & restaurant, featuring amazing drinks and food with the most stunning beach ever. Punta Cocos was around an 8-minute walk from Noma Noma and worth a visit. I recommend Holbox Magico, which is known for its pink hammocks and great fish tacos and drinks. While bugs were an issue, it's expected in a rustic setting, and we managed to get them outside safely. We highly recommend this property and will return.

This is more of the rustic side of the island, so there are more bugs on this side, which tend to get into your room.

The area of the pool is not great

Noma Noma is perfectly located just outside the center of Isla Holbox, for those like us who enjoy piece and quiet and things to do at walking distance. The entire facility is nicely decorated and the room is nice and comfortable. The terraces next to the room were a luxury, with sun on one side and shadow on the other. A very nice place to calm down and relax. The host Marcela is a very helpful and friendly person, so are the rest of the staff. Certainly a recommendably place to stay.

The breakfast is really limited. You are allow to order just one slice of bread or one egg. Wasn’t enough to fead an adult. You can order other options but is really overpriced. I think will be better offer at least a booking option without breakfast so you can eat well somewhere on the island.

The staff at the hotel are fantastic and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. They even made us dinner when we arrived very late which was hugely appreciated. We loved the design of the hotel and the ambient music playing in the background. Breakfast was good.

We were very disappointed that the crib provided for our daughter had no mattress. They were apologetic but could only provide a blanket to use as a mattress but we think this resulted in her having bed bug bites. I would therefore suggest if you are travelling with an infant that you bring your own pack and play. The bedroom also has no drawer space for clothes and only a few hangers so we ended up living out of our suitcase which wasn’t a huge issue but if you’re staying for any length of time could get annoying. You may also want to check the the construction happening either side of the hotel has been completed because whilst this is no fault of the hotel it had a big impact on how relaxing it felt chilling on your balcony or in the hotel grounds. Holbox is developing fast so I think this could be an issue wherever you stay.

This is such a lovely boutique hotel in the calmest part of Holbox! Honestly, we couldn't have been happier. We got to Holbox in the morning ferry, so we got to the property by around 10am, and we were just planning on leaving the bags. They actually already had our room ready and the staff could not have been nicer to us the entire time, with great recommendations. The hotel is lovely, a couple of steps away from the beach, each room feels very unique, with its own balcony and super clean bathroom. The breakfast is divine, cooked on the spot with fresh fruit and juices. We simply adored our stay

Nothing, honestly this property was the best. The only thing I'd caution other travelers is that it's not in Holbox downtown, so not close to groceries or coffee shops (but you can bike there and it only takes like 10 min)

Casa Noma-Noma is such a beautiful place! Already the check in was really friendly and we loved our room, including the nice bathroom and private terrace. The breakfast included everything we needed and is served in the beautiful garden.

To the center it takes around 30 minutes to walk. We did like the beach there more than the beaches next to the hotel, even if they are more crowded. However, we really liked the walk and you also have the possibility to rent bikes for 150 MXN each per day. Furthermore, there are also several nice restaurants close by.

Beautiful hotel set in quiet area. Staff were so kind and helpful. Daily breakfast was lovely, would definitely recommend to those who want a relaxing break away.

Great in the day. At night, you need taxis to & from any restaurants or town. So it gets expensive at 250MXN each way. The terrible roads are a massive pain.

Beautiful, safe place tucked away from the loud and busy downtown. Very nice staff (they spoke more English than I did Spanish, but it was still a mutual struggle sometimes). Close to the beach

It is a long, long walk from the main downtown area, which was our primary mode of transport. The walls are also very thin. Breakfast also didn’t really start until 8:30, and we were always gone by then

Marcella and the staff were incredible throughout the stay. Location is about a 25 minute walk along the beach that can be done day or night so no real need to use the taxis as they are completely overpriced. Whilst there is not much atmosphere at the hotel due to it only being 6 rooms, it is a beautiful and quality spot where you can unwind completely. Holbox central has everything else you need. The location of the property was difficult to access. When we arrived it had rained overnight and buggies would not go to the hotel. The mosquitoes due to the water were unbearable. To get in and out of the hotel we had to navigate a swamp which made the mosquito bites even worse. The island itself is beautiful.
