Friendly staff. It was lovely to enter the room with the TV and lights already on.

The unit was clean and warm. Heat pump was on for arrival and so was the electric blanket! Plenty of room in the unit, we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom unit, which was appreciated. Great shower and good kitchen facilities in our unit. We were walkable into town and 5 minutes stroll to New World for groceries. Friendly staff.

Nice location to mountain, friendly staff. Nice had a small play area for kids but timber has seen better days. Shops are only a couple min walk away. Quiet stay.

Tad rundown overall. Cobwebs on the ceiling in the room. No milk (maybe need to ask). Bed and pillows flat and semi hard. Booking.com is more expensive than the actual company website. Limited parking in front of the room. Very Noisy extraction fan. Heat pump filter definitely needs a clean

Decent sized room Comfy furniture Originally I had booked a room with no heat pump (didnt realise) but they upgraded me to a unit with one It was 1 degree when we arrived! Electric blankets were turned on for us at arrival ~8.30pm

The receptionist was excellent. Kind and pleasant. She showed me to my room, switched Heat pump on and the electric blanket.

Room was comfortable and clean.

Being patronized by the host. When we arrived we were allocated a parking spot in front of our unit because my partner is disabled. We left to go out to dinner and when we returned we found the parking spot had been allocated to the next unit along. Their large vehicle blocked our entry and my partner (who has a walking frame)couldn't get around it to enter our room. I got annoyed and after a lengthy to and fro the male host asked the owners to move the vehicle.

The motel building looked a bit tired on the outside, but what a surprise when we went inside. Large, clean and comfortable.

We arrived at 11.07pm, traveling from masterton to wanganui, and then to Turangi. I had rang to say we would be running late. The nice lady was waiting for us. And it was very cold. She took us to our accommodation. It was so nice and warm when we got into our apartment. She had put our heat pump on, and two beds had electric blankets on. She showed us where everything was. A milk in the fridge so we could a hot drinks, it was a very comfortable sleep and nice in warm. Bathroom and toliet a good access to the shower. Nice and warm water for a shower. Had a nice breakfast to be on the road at 9 am. Thursday morning. Left knowing we had a great sleep. To go to Mangakino for a funeral. I would go back. 🥰🥰.

Really good set up, with well stocked kitchens and smart TV which was needed given the storm during my stay!

Der Gastgeber war super freundlich! Ich durfte vor dem offiziellen Check-in einchecken und habe sogar ein kostenfreies Upgrade bekommen, da aufgrund des Zyklons weniger Besucher als gewöhnlich dort waren. Die Unterkunft war top sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage in Turangi ist perfekt und der Gastgeber hat gute Tips für kleinere Ausflüge gegeben. Ich kann Tongariro Junction zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Great for a short stay, easy to get to the Tongariro crossing and was great to be able to come back to a comfy bed after the hike. Was also really great that there was air con, and a small kitchen.

Walls are thin, so if you’re a light sleeper you may hear your neighbours.

Our room has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The location was great and close to Tongariro Alpine Crossing which was the main reason for our stay! New world was just across the street!

The room is a little outdated and the bed was not as comfortable but good enough for our two night stay!

Very clean and tidy. Modern appliances, and the property has been recently renovated. Super comfortable beds too. Helpful and friendly staff.

Cleanliness was below all other places we stayed on our 3 week NZ tour.

The executive rooms were great as there were three different sleeping spaces. Good if you have kids who want their own space.

Very nice place to break the journey between north & south (of north island). 2 minutes by car from supermarket. The place was pleasant & comfortable. Near the lake & naional park. Good for a one-nighter.

As a solo traveller it was fine, think more people would be crowded (though there were extra beds).

The staff was kind and helpful.

Great spot to be based for the Tongariro crossing, only a 20min drive away. The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and made it as easy as possible despite it being quite late in the evening. Little kitchen to prepare snacks.

Check in was easy, and the room was very comfortable. I liked the amenities in the room and was impressed with the comfortable chairs in the living room area. The housekeeping staff were friendly and happy to assist with requests - like additional milk.

Only a few points that do not detract from our otherwise exceptional experience: - The power plugs at the sides of the beds were hard to reach for phone chargers etc. - I would have liked a better shampoo/conditioner setup - as the little sachets were difficult to use and very small. - When house keeping are working on the rooms they leave a lot of unsightly equipment on the benches in front of the rooms.
