Room (2) was not as clean as expected, dust bunnies in floor corners, spider webs in ceiling corners. The bathroom door handle screws had stripped out the wood so the handle just pulls off in your hand. Too expensive for just a room in a shared house, even in a great location.

Lo único bueno es su ubicación. El primer día encontramos una araña de tamaño considerable en la cama; no le dimos importancia al estar en una habitación en la planta baja de la casa y haber dejado la ventana abierta. Sin embargo hemos luchado cada día contra ellas, creemos que estaban en la estructura del colchón. A mi marido le han picado por la noche incluso. Añado foto de la que nos hemos encontrado esta mañana. Todas eran primas hermanas en cuanto a tamaño, osea que ha sido bastante poco agradable convivir con ellas como se puede imaginar. Para intentar matarlas/echarlas hemos movido la estructura de la cama y es cuando hemos visto que la tela estaba agujereada y probablemente salgan de ahí (repito, después del incidente del primer día la habitación ha estado prácticamente cerrada de manera hermética). También cabe señalar que de debajo de la cama hemos sacado una cantidad ingente de polvo, para armar dos pelucas casi. El resto de la casa también estaba sucio (suelo polvoriento, horno bastante hecho polvo, ventana llena de telarañas que OBVIAMENTE no nos hemos moletado ni en intentar cerrar). Suerte que hemos marchado ya :( me sabe muy mal poner malas criticas, pero por el precio del alojamiento, que es muy cercano a lo que valen los hoteles podría estar mejor mantenido. Lamentablemente no lo recomendamos para nada.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026La zona es lo que realmente vale la pena. Muy cerca de la zona latina y en unas manzanas muy tranquilas. Que se pudiera aparcar también era un punto a favor, aunque es cierto que en Galway podrías aparcar sin problema en la calle. El check in es autónomo.
La casa es una casa en la que simplemente han puesto cerraduras en las habitaciones. La puerta de la calle estaba siempre abierta. Se escuchan bastante a los vecinos y el tamaño es bastante escaso. Lo peor no fue eso, sino que la cama es incomodísima. Si vas una noche te vale, pero si estas más días ojo... Se hunde completamente en el medio y en cada giro que des se escucharán los muelles, es de 135cm así que estarás justito. Han puesto una espuma para que no se note pero es una chapuza. Un colchón no cuesta nada como inversión en una casa de huéspedes, es algo urgente para cambiar. La cerradura de la puerta del baño estaba rota, lo cual no te dejaba cerrar la puerta. Avisé y no recibí ninguna respuesta. La mampara de la ducha no cierra. Las toallas, de papel de fumar… y así podría seguir… en definitiva: si quieres jugar a ser un hotel, (e igualar sus precios) prepárate como tal.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026The location was excellent - only 10 mins walk to all the bars and restaurants and quite close to Salthill beach. Off road parking was really helpful. The bathroom was clean and well equipped.
The bedroom was rather cramped and tea and coffee making facilities were downstairs in a communal kitchen but you had to bring your own, including milk. It would have been a nice touch to at least supply tea, coffee, sugar and little uht milk pots.

La camera non era pulitissima (spostando il comodino per aprire l’armadio c’erano resti di cibo), la pulizia della stessa non avviene ogni giorno ed abbiamo dovuto richiedere il cambio armadi e almeno un rotolo di carta igienica visto che non ne viene fornita a sufficienza.

Sur 2 chambres réservées celle du RDC est très étroite avec peu de place pour 2 personnes et plutôt sombre (room 1). Demandez la room 3, beaucoup plus agréable et confortable. Pour manger sur place pas vraiment de vaisselle.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Situato in un quartiere molto tranquillo e comodissimo al centro. Possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto senza problemi nel cortile dedicato e zona comune con frigorifero a disposizione.
La camera era un po' angusta (la porta non si apriva completamente a causa del letto posizionato dietro) e sia pavimenti che bagno non erano ben puliti.

Also comes with some spices and teas already stocked - Easy check in process - Private parking, though located in an area easy enough to come by other means
- Rooms are cramped/feel disorganized. Our door couldn't open all the way because it hit the bed. - Hosts seem to handle the house remotely: if you want more local charm, this isn't it. Easy process, but very impersonal

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Дуже гарне, чисте, приємне помешкання, зрозуміла комфортна схема заїзду, чисті та мʼякі ліжка, чистий туалет, є все необхідне, є холодильник, кухня, затишна вітальня, до якої можна спуститись ввечері, відпочити. Нам залишили смаколики! 13/10! Видно, що господарі люблять те, що роблять, і ціна дуже розумна та доступна.
Єдиний мінус: при закритті двері вона сильно гукає, треба дуже обережно зачиняти.

There was a shared space downstairs, but there was no offerings down there - eg. no tea or coffee at least. A small issue only but would have been a nice offer.

Küchenausstattung (Gläser, Schüsseln,….) für bis zu 10 Personen etwas spärlich. Service bei der Ankunft in Galway bzgl. Schlüsselsafe mangelhaft. Code für Schlüsselsafe wurde erst nach mehrmaligen nachfragen bereitgestellt und nicht 5 Minuten vor Ankunft wie vorher vereinbart

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Stanza accogliente, la posizione è comoda per muoversi ma bisogna considerare 15-20 minuti per raggiungere il centro. Ottimo il Tesco a 2 minuti a piedi.
La pulizia si può decisamente migliorare. La stanza era pulita nei punti più a vista, decisamente meno negli angoli e negli spazi più angusti. Sarebbero inoltre graditi degli appendini e dei ganci. Trovo un po' buffo il fatto che abbiamo dovuto comprare la carta igienica perché non era stata aggiunta (ci è stato spiegato successivamente che le stanze vengono pulite solo su richiesta) e la signora delle pulizie ci ha portato via il pacchetto di carta..

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Die Lage war ganz ok ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Zentrum und Parkplatz am Haus. Die Gemeinschafts Küche war ok, in einem Tesco, 3 Minuten entfernt konnte man sich mit allem notwendigen versorgen.
Das Zimmer ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und nicht besonders groß. Es gab eine Flasche Wasser mit Bügelverschluss, was soll man davon halten? Wir würden es wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal buchen.

We could hear the doors slam of other rooms. On the night we stayed apparently the fob was not working for the guests that arrived late, across the hall from us. They started banging on other guests doors after 11pm. While this is not something that the host can control, a FOB not working is definitely a very bad situation. Had the common area have even a powder room attached, a situation like this would be less stressful and more manageable.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Excellent location, just outside the main bustle without any of the noise! Very clean and well kept (newly renovated?) facilities and rooms. Kitchen was well maintained and very convenient. The staff were quick to respond to requests. And the snacks were a nice touch :)
Room was slightly cramped and the bathroom door - closet door configuration was a little difficult to navigate (open bathroom door prevents access to closet and vice versa).

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Perfect location handy walk to either the city entre or Salthill. Lovely clean room and great shower - triple is quite small but I ended up with the room to myself, it'd be small for 3 people. Lovely shared kitchen and living room, smart TV in bedroom, quiet residential area.
Nothing really - initially I couldn't find the towels but found a pile of them neatly folded in the wardrobe along with a tray with a bottle of water and 3 packets of Tayto which was a nice touch.

La camera tripla è davvero molto molto piccola, non si apre completamente la porta e per andare al bagno si ha uno spazio strettissimo per passare.

The pillowcases smelled bad and there were somebody else’s hairs when we just arrived. Also someone was trying to break into our room during the last night of our stay. Don’t think it’s related to the property but more so a weird situation? Perhaps a neighbour got drunk but it still scared us. Also the bed was very squeaky! Like extremely loud. Oh and the room takes some time to heat up, like there were two evenings when we were finished why the heating was cold to the touch despite being set at 5 (max heat), but the property owner was very helpful and kind and we resolved that situation!

Room was very clean, the bed comfortable. Supermarket a few mins walk away. The shared kitchen area was clean. A nice quiet area of Galway. The room size was good for a solo traveller.
The bathroom and shower itself was lovely, new and very clean and I liked the big shower head. My only complaint was that the water was not very hot.
