THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. This is not a hotel, but some kind of nightmare that you will remember for a long time. The worst place I have ever tried to check into, and the most disgusting staff I have ever had to deal with. TRY FINDING THIS HOTEL FIRST! The hotel is located in some abandoned, filthy courtyard with rats. The navigation will bring you to the entrance, and then the real survival challenge begins. The only path leading to the hotel is blocked by small construction works. To reach this unfortunate place, you have to climb over obstacles and walk through puddles and mud. Have a suitcase? Heavy luggage? Are you elderly? Forget it. Be prepared to get everything you own covered in dirt, or be ready to spend the night on the street. And you call this a hotel? A RESERVATION? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF MAKING ONE? I had a room booked in advance. I arrived at the hotel — and was told that my room was no longer available. They simply gave it to someone else. No warning. No call. No message. No proper update in the booking system. You can arrive with your luggage, waste your time and money getting there, and then be told: “There is no room. It’s your own fault.” And the best part? Trying to contact the hotel in advance is practically impossible because the phone number listed in the booking is incorrect. THE STAFF — A WHOLE OTHER NIGHTMARE. I arrived at the hotel, and some man wearing glasses greeted me. He did not even say hello. Instead of speaking to me normally, he immediately started talking to me in an extremely rude, disrespectful, and aggressive tone, raising his voice and practically shouting at me. I was told that my room was no longer available because I had not specified my exact arrival time. The staff member said it was my fault, that they had no available rooms, and that it was entirely my problem.

Anh chủ nhà rất tốt bụng, mình hẹn giờ đến thì ảnh đã đến trước bật điều hoà cho mát phòng luôn. Vị trí ngay trung tâm nên thuận tiện để di chuyển đến các điểm du lịch. Phòng sạch sẽ và không bị mùi, rất yên tĩnh dù nằm ngay sau Bùi Viện, có thể dùng máy giặt, máy sấy và bếp.

Đường đi vào homestay hơi nhỏ và có vẻ như đang sửa, và không thể mở được cửa sổ, nhưng nó cũng không ảnh hưởng gì đến trải nghiệm lắm.

Great value for money, excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, and a comfortable room.

The blanket was not clean and had a noticeable smell.

L'emplacement est top à 50 mètres de la rue la plus festive de Saïgon " bui vien" avec l'avantage de ne pas l'entendre dans la chambre.. eau chaude ok, clim ok il y a une cuisine moyennement propre.

Accueil très mitigé et pressé idem le lendemain j'ai eu droit à un interrogatoire sur le frigo commun.. le jeune n'est pas très causant. La rue actuellement est complètement défoncée avec des trous et des planches comme cheminement. En gros n'y allez pas en mode valise à roulettes

An excellent homestay at a very affordable price! The location is super convenient — right in the city center, with everything nearby. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and soft, the air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly. It is a great option for travelers who just need a comfortable place to stay overnight. The host, Phong, is a very pleasant person; a special thank you to him for allowing an early check-in. He is friendly, polite, and always ready to help.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Qcub1 and couldn’t be happier with our choice! The place itself is a gem: it’s incredibly peaceful, sparkling clean, and perfectly located with plenty of things to do and explore just a short distance away. ​A huge thank you to the host, who made our experience truly seamless. He was consistently attentive, always quick to respond to our requests, and went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed it. It’s also worth mentioning that his level of English is excellent, which made communication effortless. ​The room was perfect for our needs—everything was exactly as described. The AC worked flawlessly, we had reliable hot water, the bed was super comfortable, and having a rack to hang our clothes was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. ​We left feeling completely satisfied and would definitely stay here again. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-managed, and comfortable spot, this is the place to be!

Just one minor detail: Not all the electrical outlets were fully functional.

Even it's located deep deep next to very loud and busy street, it is very quiet inside! Don't be scared of the pathway to the hotel, it's safe area controlled by police. Nice room, windows, sunlight, cold AC, strong fan, amenities, clean, hot water, soft bed. Best price for this conditions. Highly recommend. I definitely will come back. Most of the times it's fully booked, so if you see available room - take it immediately. *No elevator in the building, but best price!

Очень тихо, даже не верится, что отель находится так близко к главной улице. Чисто, комфортно, есть всё необходимое. В распоряжении гостей кухня, а атмосфера располагает к полному спокойствию и отдыху.При бронировании обязательно указывайте номер WhatsApp — хозяин свяжется с вами и подскажет, как найти отель. С поиском были небольшие затруднения, но в остальном всё отлично.

L'emplacement, en plein centre, à proximité de la rue festive et pourtant très calme. L'hôte est très serviable. Il propose de l'eau, du café, du thé, et des nouilles instantanées. Il laisse même à disposition une machine à laver et un sèche-linge. C'est très appréciable

Me and my family arrived in ho chi min late afternoon. we discovered the same day that the owner cancel the reservation. No explanations no apologies. There was no way to talk with him/her, only late response by message in the booking app.

Nice room.

Rudest host. We arrived late in the evening from the airport. We were disturbed by the host who impolitely demanded cash payment, but we did not have any local currency. We were frogmarched down Walking Street at night to an ATM when we really needed to rest after a long flight. The host complained that he lived over 20 km away, so it would be too inconvenient for him to come back on another day to collect the payment — despite this, he was constantly downstairs which frankly made us very uncomfortable. He was then extremely rude throughout the rest of our stay, especially when we wanted to make use of the communal space such as doing laundry or even refilling our water bottle. The location is also down the back of a dodgy alley.

Phong was very kind and helpful, we forgot the keys one time so we texted him and he immediately helped us. Good location

Great location! (Hard to find, but the pictures help) Spacious and bright room, clean and neat. I could use the washing machine and there is a big and well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend, great value!

The location was perfect, not far from the entertainment centre. The small alley where it located has a traditional market with many food vendors giving plenty of choices for eating during the day. Staffs are helpful and very responsible. Local residents are nice, friendly. Almost every thing you need for your stay is within 5-10 mins walk.

The homestay doesn't have a lift, that's a thing to consider if you travel with heavy luggage. However Phong, the owner, was very helpful and would be the to give you the best assistance.

Very close to main entertainment area in the city.

Difficult to find as it is in the non walking area and directions are only given from one entrance to that area. Sadly my driver dropped me off at the other entrance. More communication on the need for a cash payment would also be helpful as I arrived late after a day of travel delays and had only just arrived in the country so had no local currency. The owner insisted I went back out to a cash point to get the cash before going to bed and then I had to wait 2 hours for him to return to the property so I could give it to him.

The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. Reasonable price, located in District 1, right on Bui Vien walking street. Especially when there is free tea, coffee and instant noodles and self-service. We are extremely satisfied with our experience here!

Super clean, air conditionner, very nice host

Nice, clean, cozy place, literally 30 secs walk from the HCMC Walking Street! If that's what you want, it's perfect! Host is a very nice guy, speaks English and explains everything very well. Lots of excellent restaurants all around. Despite being so close to walking street, you don't hear any noise at all, very quiet for those afternoon naps before you go out at night clubbing!

It's in the middle of a dense block of housing, so down an alley, turn right, then right again, right again.... can be confusing for some! But that's just the nature of housing in Vietnam.

Très bon hôtel. Je l'ai réservé pour une courte nuit (21h - 3h), et ça n'a pas posé de problème. Le propriétaire m'avait envoyé toutes les infos en amont pour m'aider à trouver correctement l'endroit

The stay was amazing and exactly what we needed in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Before check in we were able to stay in the living room (with a couch/bed), use a bathroom with toilet and shower and use the fully equipped kitchen (coffee, tea, noodles). The room was beautiful. Everything was clean and essentials were provided. There is a washing machine and a dryer. After check out we were allowed to use the ground floor again. It’s in a small street in the Center so you get both - being in the middle of everything (restaurants, shops, bars, etc.) but sheltered enough to not hear any noise from outside. The host is great!! Super helpful, friendly and attentive. Big thanks to him for making our stay so easy and convenient. Before check in he did sent detailed instructions on how to find the place. Highly recommended!!!

We had an amazing stay at this homestay, and everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and truly taken care of. We arrived much earlier than expected – in the middle of the night – and although it wasn’t check-in time, the host allowed us to rest in the cozy living room on the ground floor. We let ourselves in, got some much-needed sleep, and even helped ourselves to free tea, coffee, and instant noodles available in the kitchen. What touched us the most was the host’s genuine kindness. He came personally at 8 AM just to check us in early – without charging anything extra. That kind of hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about how much he values his guests. The next day, we were able to leave our bags at the homestay without any issue. In the evening, when we returned to collect them, we were not only welcomed back but also invited to shower and have something to eat before leaving. It felt more like visiting a friend’s home than staying in a guesthouse. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, comfortable, and friendly throughout. We truly appreciated every part of our stay and will definitely come back here next time we’re in the area. Highly, highly recommended to anyone looking for a warm and authentic experience!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The host was nice, the location is perfect! It is just behind a really busy street but you do not hear a thing! You can fill up your water and do your washing for free. It’s very convenient. The place does not look like the pictures (at least our room) but it was still perfect with everything we needed.
