Lovely clean spacious kottage. Perfect for time away from my busy life.
Nothing
Nice location, apartment perfect size for couple or solo travellers, great to have your own space. It has everything you need in small space, I would stay again as it met my requirements.
Location, butter milk yogurt in fridge, bread eggs...
no comment...it was more....I leave that with the owner...
Compact clean little apartment Ideal if attending wedding in local hotel. Had lovely food and treats left for me
Nothing. It's basic but well-priced
Cozy rural setting away from busy urban areas. Lovely breakfast items set out for us to be enjoyed at our convenience.
Location was perfect for attending a wedding in The Heritage just up the road
Did not have a good experience at this property. I was attending a wedding not far and when we got back to the property late that night, there was a strong smell of kerosene at the property. I raised the issue with the property owner the following morning as the smell was still there and got told there was a leak from the husband and then spoke to the wife and she informed me that a valve was opened the day before and it probably shouldn't have been. We did not feel safe staying there inhaling the fumes so we told the property owners we were going to leave and was told to contact booking.com for a refund and the when we did leave, I received a message from the property owner saying that there was no smell after we left and couldn't understand the urgency of us leaving. I didn't feel that was a nice message to receive as it is accusing us of lying when the smell was the only reason we left. And only after reading other reviews now, I see we were not the first to experience this
Good location. Milk and bread was provided at property which was nice.
Very strong smell in apartment. Due to boiler beside property. Shower was either extremely hot or cold.
Beautiful and quiet location. Cosy apartment, stylishly decorated with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed, we got a great night sleep. Host even gave us a lift to the The Heritage Hotel where we were attending a wedding. Highly recommend The Killenard Kottage for a relaxing stay.
The location was good. The property was good value for money. There were pastries, milk, tea & coffee, which was lovely.
There was a strong smell of kerosene in the cottage. The tank was on the exterior wall of the property. Am not sure if there had been a leak or if it was the location, but the smell was off putting.
Very cold and felt damp Dirty cups and glasses in dishwasher. No clean cups Bathroom and bedroom very cramped.
It was a lovely homely place, very comfortable all you needed at a very reasonable priced.
It was a bit to far from the hotel that we were going to as my Husband has walking difficults and I in high heels
Bed mattress was very small and worn out, bed was squeaking with slight move. Shower head was broken and tapped and there was barely any water coming out. Windows need better insulation as we could hear traffic passing early in the morning. Overall the place was clean.
better facilities.
Close proximity to Heritage Hotel. Some nibbles, bread and milk there for us on arrival.
The property had a horrible damp smell that was overwhelming, and to make matters worse, the bed sheets were damp as well. This is completely unacceptable and made for an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying here until these issues are properly addressed
Very helpful host.
The shower and a few parts of the kitchen needed some attention.
Lovely clean and cozy accommodation!
We choose the location for access to Dublin airport but there is lots to do around the area - especially in Tullamore. The host left an extensive food package that was totally unexpected and really useful.
The apartment is just a little bit too small, movement around the bed is tight and the kitchen is crowded.
Really well-kept and appointed accommodation, grand bathroom, beautiful sittingroom with kitchenette, and host had kindly supplied pastries, bread and milk.
Bed was squeaky.
Omg absolutely beautiful would recommend to anyone, peaceful beautiful, the scenery, the kottage was fully enjoyable. Everything needed at hand, the bed was very comfortable and I had a lovely peaceful sleep, the veiw was amazing. Lovely host, very kindly picked me up from the local trainstion and took me where I needed to be, I'm so very grateful for all your help in helping me to finally visit my son. You went out of your way to help me and I am very grateful, thanku so much I can't thank u enough.
Nothing
Host was away on vacation abroad, as we were told via message before arriving. When we arrived, the property was left unattended, uncleaned and dirty with food waste and empty wine bottles and beer cans on patio and garden. The door to the cottage was also left open and place was untidy. A drunk man was at the property, not sure if he was the owner of the place or a burglar. The entire situation was horrifying and shocking. We ran to the car and left. We tried to reach the owner multiple times but no answer and straight to voicemail….only after almost 2 hours after being stuck in the car. It was a bank holiday weekend, so we could not find anything else. Stay away from this accommodation!
Great little cottage had everything we needed and bonus with Netflix. The owner Martin was very welcoming and would recommend to anyone. Close to Rosslare ferry port.
All good here.
Great location, lovely cottage, really welcoming hosts
Nothing, was amazing
The host had left fresh scones bb bananas water & other bits for us that we didn't expect . So really appreciated them .
I stayed as part of my working week, just two nights. my first night i arrived late, but was still met by the host, which i did not expect but was very grateful for. It was small but nicely decorated, warm, cozy & had everything i needed. I would stay there again.
Location, cleanliness and comfort.
Nothing.
Ideal spot close to the Heritage Hotel. Was stocked with cereals, bread, milk and snacks etc, which I hadn't expected but was a nice touch.
À little bit on the small side but fine for the average couple.
Everything
It was all very straightforward. Communication was good. Privacy was great and the facilities were excellent. It was warm and very comfortable for a great price. Excellent location near The Heritage Hotel and St Anne Tetreat Centre. The host was friendly and kind. Highly recommend.

Nothing because they cancelled at 9.40 am on the morning of the booking. They said they had been broken into. Didn't believe a word of it
A Phone call should have been made to let us know still haven't recieved my money back and the owner would not take my call left a message and still no reply shocking!! No help to help us get another place to stay had to pay a fortune to get back home the night of a family wedding
Shower was poor Couldn’t straighten the head TV all in apps
