Very quiet location, beautiful garden, well-stocked kitchen, great heating, very warm and cosy. Nice to have proper laundry facilities with a drying rack. Hosts very easy to get in touch with for questions.

Only thing I can think of is that we couldn't find any cereal bowls for breakfasts.

Absolutely loved our stay. we met our host, Caroline, on arrival she was amazing, and her hospitality was so welcoming. Location for us was fabulous 👌 it was our home away from home for 3 days, beautiful and cozy accommodation. highly recommend this place to stay for couples and small families. Alojamiento en los bajos de una vivienda espectacular. Cuando llegamos, a pesar de tener una cajita para recoger las llaves, nos recibieron los dueños de la casa muy amablemente. Muy agradables. La vivienda tiene todo lo que se puede necesitar. Hay leche fresca en la nevera, café nesspreso, te, aceite, unos snack de patatas fritas y algo de queso con regañas). Los baños disponen de jabón, champú, suavizante (como acostumbran a tener) pero además, hay crema de cuerto, serum facial, crema de manos. Todo cuidado y colocado con mucho detalle. Además, nos dejaron el sofá cama hecho (algo que en otras estancias del mismo viaje no ocurrió).

Given how well thought out unit is, a real cook-top would be more fitting than a single cook plate. Cramped kitchen counter space. Location is not perfect for spending time in central Dunedin but knew that ahead of time so commuting in/out wasn't problem.

Very helpful owners. Lots of comfort items provided to help make the stay easier such as soap/oil/coffee pods.

Main bed was very hard, no mattress topper on it.

This place is absolutely beautiful, and so welcoming. Carolyn and Steve have put a lot of effort into creating a real home while you are on holiday. Everything that you can think of is present and there is really nothing that is missing at all. Such a nice apartment and so many lovely details and extras. We'll definitely be back one day. The space was perfect for two adults and a toddler. Particularly enjoyed the garden where our toddler could run around and the use of the outdoor picnic table in the afternoon sun. Kitchen facilities were great. The unit had everything we needed. Location was great too as only a short walk to the supermarket and in a quiet neighbourhood. The hosts were very kind and accommodating.

Super ausgestattete und super saubere Wohnung, ruhige Lage, sehr netter Empfang durch die Gastgeber - es fehlte an nichts und wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

Every was wonderful, including the bikes 🚲 my partner & I enjoyed riding in town. Very romantic 🥰 thankful to Steve & Carolyn for everything. Short but Sweet! 🙏🏽

Arriving here felt like home immediately. A great area, and very close to Dunedin. Carolyn explained all there is to know and made us feel very welcome. Everything you could possibly need was facilitated! Snacks, coffee, tea, oils, some herbs. In the bathroom was shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, lotions, serum, cleanser, towels, all of it. When we left we discussed it kinda felt like visiting our parents for a few days. I’ve left my washing out and it started raining and Steve was kind enough to transfer it to a covered area without us asking. Such a lovely gesture!

My stay exceeded expectations and Carolyn and her husband couldn’t have been more hospitable, friendly and kind. The apartment wanted for nothing - they had thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable and well catered for. The apartment was spotlessly clean as well. I will definitely make this lovely apartment my choice of accommodation for return trips to Dunedin.

A very well equipped apartment with everything one would need. Parking alongside apartment and useful that it had a washing machine and a clothes line for drying. The accommodation was also close to the facilities at Mosgiel shopping centre.

The king size bed was single mattress with slat base so personally found it a bit too firm

We travel a lot and this was one of if not the best appointed self-contained unit we have ever stayed in! Amazing range of bathroom toiletries, kitchen provisions coffees & 'goodies'! Just a short walk to township shops, restaurants, etc. Excellent value for money. We really loved our stay here.

The house was easy to find. Its located off a pretty and quiet street with trees with beautiful flowers. The rooms were clean and everything was well arranged. The sofa bed was made up for us which our daughter enjoyed (especially with the TV in that room). There was plenty of tea / coffee making facilities along with snacks left for us. The bathroom was fantastic with a heater (which was welcome in end of Sep). The bed was super comfy and big. Lots of switches and extension cords to charge devices. Beautiful backyard garden with bench. Very close to shops, main street. Great communication from Carolyn and Steve. A lot of thought has been put into setting up this stay for guests. Would have loved to stay for more than a night

Not applicable. Everything was great. We weren't able to figure out the coffee machine and couldn't get it to work, however that was not really a bother as there were alternate ways to help ourselves to coffee/tea/hot chocolate

Friendly welcome, clean and well appointed

This guest house is centrally located with easy off street parking. It’s beautifully furnished with great attention to detail. It was perfectly clean, had a comfy super king bed and great coffee too! Highly recommend.

I booked this property for my son who was attending flight school in Dunedin for a couple of weeks. He had to come back to Wanaka to have his plane serviced and couldn’t fly back down to Dunedin in time for checkout due to bad weather - the hosts were kind enough to pack up his gear for him :)

The hosts were amazing! House was clean and tidy, warm and presented well. Great location for Mosgiel and getting around. Hosts were accomodating for children.

The apartment would really suit a couple or couple with a single child. Dining area was small and as we used the lounge area for an extra bed we felt restricted on relaxation areas.

They don’t like having kids stay. Terrible communication

Amazing hospitality and facilities.. super Garden

Absolutely everything, so well equipped and our own garden to enjoy too. Carolyn and Steve were welcoming yet unobtrusive. We particularly enjoyed being outside of the town, local restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The place was super clean, everything was like brand new. The bathroom/shower was great, they had loads of accessories, it was better than being at home! The location was great, nice yard and it was soooo peaceful and quiet.

There's nothing to complain about, I'd recommend this place to anybody, especially people in that region that just want to have quiet relaxing weekend but not have to travel far

Clean, warm, safe, everything you need and a whole lot of extras. Huge towels, luxurious linen, we loved it here!

Loved the separate living and bedroom spaces. Very clean and had everything that we could have needed available for us.

The hosts, Carolyn and Steve, are super nice and very flexible in accommodating our needs. Just a suggestion: the workspace area is a perfect space for makeup; it would be brilliant if there were a big mirror there. ☺️

Steve was very welcoming and showed us around. It was a very spacious unit and had everything we needed to self cater for 5 nights. We appreciated the cheese & crackers, milk and other treats provided, thank you. It was nice to relax in the lounge after a day out and about walking tracks around Dunedin and the bed was super comfortable. Overall a great place to stay and appreciated the many little things to make it homely.

There didn't seem to be any soundproofing between the floors.

Would have been nice to meet hosts. Could have done with a phone number to contact them as I couldn't get the TV to work. Maybe just me as I a bit technically challenged. Perhaps a little more detail on how to operate it.

I recently stayed at this lovely house and was thoroughly impressed. It was incredibly clean and cosy, offering a welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking comfortable and reliable accommodation!

Carolyn was very welcoming and the facilities were excellent, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Carolyn and Steve had thought of and provided absolutely everything that one could possibly need.

It was the little things that were provided - like cheese & crackers in the fridge after we arrived just after the supermarket closed.

Well set up for a longer stay. Lots of convenience items provided. Nice outdoor/garden space. Quiet neighborhood. central location.

One of THE best appointed apartments with many thoughtful additions well beyond our expectations. Well located with an easy commute to the much busier Dunedin. Offered the option of self catering with dinner and breakfast options close by.

Hard to fault this property, if anything, its location down a short shared easement on a “battle axe” section made me double check the address. 😊
