Reviewed Nov 9, 2025The studio is wonderful, clean, cozy and located in a quiet area. We stayed there for few nights, and felt at home there! The owner is also super nice and helpful.
Optimisation points rather that problems : The mattresses were a bit noisy, and a bit more kitchenware could have been nice, but nothing of a real problem

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025The Studio was spacious, warm and comfortable with a heat pump and dehumidifier. The wet floor bathroom was perfect for my daughter who is in a wheelchair. It is in a lovely, quiet, secluded location behind the main house. It was so delightful looking out to the lovely courtyard garden in the morning. It is really difficult to find accommodation with a bathroom that works for my daughter and enough room around the bed to be able to lift her in and out easily but this was not an issue here. The little kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely be back if we need somewhere to stay in Auckland again.
Location wasn't ideal for what we were in Auckland for but that was minor as it ticked all the other boxes

Reviewed Jan 22, 2025Andi was a great host super helpful and very kind, it was a nice space with enough in it to look after yourself and have some privacy away from the city. Nice outdoor space, good facilities, near to shops, nice bathroom, and Netflix!
It might be nice to have a hob for cooking but there isn’t really the space and we easily made do with what was there. Couldn’t ask for anything else honestly

Reviewed Dec 29, 2024This accommodation is by far one of the best we have stayed in. Clean, spacious, comfortable & very safe. The photos don't do it justice. It's amazing. The bathroom is a great size, and the kitchenette area has perfect equipment along with the bbq webber to cook. Good size fridge. Awesome modern features. Gorgeous, quiet outdoor area to sit & relax. Short drive to the beach, cafes etc.. SO GOOD ! !

Reviewed May 16, 2024Location, Location, Location was key for me. I went to Auckland for a family funeral, and Andi's place is a couple of streets from where I needed to go. It's a beautiful studio, located in a lovely garden at the back of a gorgeous home; what's not to like? 😊 I especially liked that I got to meet Andi the morning I left.
That my travel plans meant I could spend only 9 hours there.
